Jimmy was frustrated, he honestly felt bad for the Moon Lord. His Clan got attacked by the villains and nobody was willing to help them. He then gets captured by Han Li, that demon! That wasn't enough either, Xie gets forced to drink several potions and then assaulted, humiliated in front of servants, soldiers, everyone! Han Li forcing himself on Xie Yan was too much, Jimmy had to drop the novel.

Yes! It's frustrating. Xie Yan didn't deserve this, what was the author thinking??

The author probably wanted something dramatic, I bet they are falling in love after that.
Lisa and Jimmy continued to discuss novels, their favorite ones and the ones they didn't like. It's a hobby they shared, since elementary school!
They always loved reading and finding the world of novels was perfect for them, they didn't mind any genres. From Mystery to Fantasy, to Romance and Horror. They didn't discriminate and appreciated all forms of novels!

Not that long later, after reading something funny and scrolling through the internet, Jimmy fell asleep.
It was a sleep that felt different this time though, it's like he was awake in his dreams. He couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Where am I...? Didn't I just fall asleep?

Ah! Hey, where are we?
Jimmy walked towards the stranger and the closer he got, the more he slowed down. That stranger looked straight out of a fantasy book, the costume seems ancient. He got worried, as that stranger turned around and looked at him, his eyes blank and soulless.

Are you okay?
That stranger shook his head as he rubbed his stomach, his eyes wet with stains of tears on his cheeks. Jimmy felt flustered, not knowing what to do at this moment got him anxious.

Can I-… Can I help you?

What do you mean? Who are you!?
Jimmy halted in his actions, visibly confused. Xie Yan!? Like the one in the novel? Jimmy was ready to run away, ready to turn around, but he couldn't. It's like his body froze.

Please... Please don't tell me I am about to be stuck in a novel...PLEASE!

I felt bad for you, but there's no way I can get revenge! That man is going to execute me in a second!
Jimmy wanted to complain more, but he didn't get the chance to, as dark spots clouded his eyes. His body sacked in, sleepiness overwhelming his entire being. He could already tell that he would wake up as Xie Yan and that thought messed him up...he didn't even read what happened after that!!

A/N: This is my 2nd chat story 🙈 I think I learned a lot from my first attempt! The updates should be pretty consistent, as I have written up to 10 Chapters ahead!

Xie Yan was the proud head of the Moon Clan, having taken over in recent years as his parents somewhat retired/made the decision to live on their own away from the clan.
The Moon Clan is known for their gentle and subtle mannerisms, though they are a force to be reckoned with as they are known for their strong cultivation. Xie Yan was the prime example of it - gentle, mature and elegant.
The Moon Clan was known to be neutral in wars, though they were affiliated with the Emperor.
They do not participate in wars until The Demon Lord made the decision to directly attack The Moon Clan. In result of that, The Moon Clan loses a terrible direct battle with The Demon Clan, and The Lord of Demons assaults Xie Yan.
Han Li
Name: Han Li
Age: Immortal/Hundreds Of Years
Han Li was the leader of the Demon Clan, a clan that was known for their evil traits and actions. The conflict between Heaven and The Demons was a long one, Han Li decided to put an end to it.
Han Li is a calm but evil man, always one step ahead of his opponents. Dozens of men have been executed by his hands, his sword drenched in blood on a daily basis. That's the life he had chosen as he battled for the leader position in the demon clan.
More had never been revealed, neither the cause of his actions nor why he felt the need to get close to Xie Yan.
A/N: Further characters you'll meet within the story. I don't think I'll do character introductions for them unless it's really needed or wanted!

The minute Jimmy gained awareness of his surroundings after his slumber, he instantly could tell that he was no longer in his own body.
This body he occupied now felt tense, several areas in this body ached, and he felt somewhat heavy, especially his stomach felt weird. He couldn't quite tell what was wrong, but it was certain. He definitely occupies Xie Yan's body.
Xie Yan
(Damn you, Xie Yan! I begged you not to do this to me! 😭)
Xie Yan
(I don't even dare to open my eyes, I'm afraid.)
Xie Yan
(But I'm also afraid I must do so...ugh, whatever! Let's get this over with!)
Xie Yan opened his eyes, the second he did so someone started yelling.

My Lord!!!! You have wakened up! *runs towards Xie Yan*
