~Ding dong~

"Coming! " I yelled and ran to the door.

Once I opened the door, it was the delivery man.

"Here are the letter's Miss." said the post man.

"Ahh, right thank you! " I said as he walked away.

My Step Mother and step sisters walked towards me.

"Give that to me! " Shouted Lady Tremain/Step mother as she grabbed the letter from my hands.

As she read the letter a grin grow on there face.

"Girls, It's the invitation from the prince!" said Lady Tremain excitedly. "We have to get ready, the party starts tonight!

*This is my chance!*

"Can I come too?" I asked with a tone of respect in my voice.

"You? Go to the ball with us?" Said Lady Tremain. "You must joking, you can't go with us!"

"Haha, she thought, she had a chance!" laughed Drizella.

"I know right, hah" chuckled Anastasia.

*This was my only chance to achieve my mission. I have to find away to attend this ball/party. I should go to my room and think about it. *

At her Bedroom, in the attic.

*Maybe FG/Fairy Godmother has a plan already set up for me, I should wait for them to leave first. I need to act like I am really upset about it...*

Time skip: After my step mother and Step sister left the house.

*Finally, they left. *

I walked into the garden and looked around.

*Now where is that woman?*

"Hey over here!" Whispered FGM.

I walked towards her.

"There's no need to whisper, I already made sure they left the house." I assured her. They where so eager to go to the party anyway."

"I'm here to give you your disguise, your potion, so no one will recognize you and the knife, and the carriage." said FG. "Also the potion will only last till Midnight, then it will ware off.

"Just give me the things." I said impatiently.

"Fine, you don't have to be so rude about it." She responded as she gave me the things.

"You can leave now. " I said to her.

"Fine whatever. " said FG.

...I after I has finnished getting ready....

*hum,do I have everything?: I have the knife, I'm wearing the disguise and I drank the potion. I think I have everything checked. I should be ready/set.*

I left the house and got into the carriage.

(I know that the picture looks like it is day time, but it is actually night time in the story, so please just ignore it please, I couldn't find any other pictures to use.😅🙏)

As I walked down the stairs that was leading to the ball room, everyone stopped what they were doing and started staring at me.

*Step Mothers and step sister are here too, but I will get revenge on them later, for know, my target is the prince.*

The Prince slowly approached me. Everyone was shocked probably because he asked me to dance with him, even though there is so many people here he could ask. Also because this is the ball where the prince finds his bride. They probably think that he chose me. Haha!😂 They though! 😂

"Would you care for a dance, Miss?" he asked as he held his hand out, to me.

*This is my chance! *

"I would love to, your Highness." I responded.

As we danced he led me to another room. Since there was no one there, I knew it was my chance to get rid of him, forever.

I was holding the knife in my hand, getting ready to stab him. Somehow, he realized what I was doing. It was also midnight, the potion would ware off, I knew I had to run for it.

My shoe accidentally fell off on my way out of the castle. I looked back behind me, he was catching up, I didn't have time to go back and get my shoe. So, I just continued running.

I was almost at the house, but the potion already wore off. After I arrived home, I realized that Step Mothers and my Step Sisters are not back home yet.

*Thank goodness, If they where here, I would have been caught. Now I need to get rid of the evidence.*

I went outside and burned the dress and shoes I wore at the ball, so no one would suspect me.

After a while they came back. Luckily, they didn't suspect anything, yet. I don't think they will catch me any time soon though.

No one's POV:

The Duke was standing outside.

"This is the last house we need to check!" said the Duke.

*he rings the door bell*

"Where Coming!" said Lady Tremain.

She opens the door and saw that the Duke was standing of there house (I don't know who went to there house, sorry).

"Great Duke." Lady Tremain spoke while bowing.

"Do you have any daughter's or any woman in this house?" asked the Duke.

"Yes, I have two." she told them. "Anastasia, Drizella!"

"Where Coming mother!" said both of them.

Drizella and Anastasia went down stairs.

Anastasia tried on the shoe first (I don't actually know who went first).

"Oww!" said Anastasia in pain.

"It doesn't fit..." said the Duke.

Then Drizella tried on the shoe.

"Oww!" Drizella also said in pain.

"Are you sure you don't have any other daughter's?" questioned the duke. "This person tried to kill the prince."

"Yes, I am sure..." said Lady Tremain. "My daughter's are not murders!"

"Don't worry Mam, we believe you." said the Duke.

Cinderella POV:

*What's with the ruckus, down stairs?*

I walked down the stairs to see what was going on. When I reached down stairs.

*Why they they here? Did he figure out it was me who tried to kill him? Oh, right my shoe fell of on the way out. *

"Young lady, would you care to take a seat and try this show on?" asked the Duke.

*Wait a minute... they have my shoe? So, they haven't figured it out yet.*

"Umm, sure." I said without thinking.

*Why did I say that? The shoe will fit and they will know it was me! What should I do?!*

I made my decision and carefully started to put on the shoe then...
