Minha couldn't believe what she just heard so she asked her mother to confirm, "So are you saying that I marry that bastard?"

Her mother nodded slowly.."Yes my dear!"

"How could you say that to your own daughter?" she said furiously.. "Am I even your daughter?"

"I know darling this is a tough decision but you have to do this not only for our family but also for your own sake." Her mother said sadly.

"So what will happen if I don't marry him?" still furious she asked her mother.

"He said he will get what he wants.. if we don't marry you to him he'll still get you but then he'll make you his concubine." Her mother replied.

"Why are you not helping me I am your daughter mom!" Minha said helplessly.

"You think we didn't try my dear?? but he is powerful.. all the powerful people are his dogs.. no one is ready to help us.. and if the word gets out people will call you names and no noble and gentleman will marry you.."

"But why?? It is not my fault, why people will blame me?? I have done nothing wrong mom.. he is the one who sexually assaulted his wife's niece!!" Minha asked her mom..

"this is our society darling. no one blames men.. marry him my child.. at least he loves you.. he will provide you with everything you want" her mom added slowly.

"But he is husband of my aunt.. he is responsible of making my childhood hell.. he don't love me it is just lust.. he will just use me like a tissue paper and throw me.." Minha shouted..

"But your aunt is dead and he has the right for second marriage. He has the image of a pious and loyal man. No one would believe you my child.." her mom said while crying.

"Think about it and give me you answer tomorrow" her mom said.

After her mom left she fell on her bed crying.

"Why I am the one suffering from this? Is there no one to help me? why people always blame victims? Is it my fault that I am a girl? I guess God doesn't love me.."

with these thoughts she fell asleep..

In her sleep she saw a dream..

Dream

She saw her wedding in the dream.. but she couldn't see the face of groom. All she could see was his back and dark brown hair. But one thing she saw that her mom was happy.

I next scene she saw herself in a Haveli (a large mansion in country side with a big courtyard) surrounded by a lot of strange people who were chatting happily. Haveli was also decorated with lights and flowers and it looked like a wedding function. In all those strange faces she finally saw a familiar face.

Next Morning

She woke up feeling light and happy. It felt like a huge burden was removed from her chest. By thinking about her dream she thought to herself..

"Please God help me! For once I want my dream to become true.."

**Author's Note: **What do you think will happen next? Will Minha be able to escape her forced marriage? Whom did she saw in her dreams?

Also my genuine question not related to story: "Why do you think people usually blame victims and mostly girls for sexual assault?"

Minha was born in an upper middle class family. She was a beautiful girl with big dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. She was not extraordinary beautiful but she had something in her that attracts others to her.. She had that hidden charm that could mesmerize others.

She was a good student and always got excellent results and she also participated in other activities like debates, creative writing and dramas. She also loved to do sketching and write her diary daily.

She was youngest of three (one brother Arham and one sister Sarah).

Because she was youngest daughter her parents loved her and spoiled her. In her neighbors lived her aunt with her 5 children and husband Jafar. Her aunt was sister of her mother and 12 years older than her mother so all of her cousin were also older than her so everyone doted on her.

Jafar was in his 50s and he always helped Minha in competitions because he was good in debates and stuff. So whenever there was any competition in her school she always went to him so that he can help her with her preparations.

In short, she was living a happy life like any other average girl. Everyone loved her and people always admired her because of her grades and amazing talents.

Although not rich but her father always provided her with everything she wanted and they all were living a content and peaceful life.

Until one day

"Uncle I have got a debate competition in our school so mom said you will help me with my preparations." Minha said to Jafar while running. "If you are not busy can you help me?"

"OK my dear, why not?" Jafar replied, "tell me the topic for the debate"

After that they started to discuss the details about topic but Minha felt something was off. Jafar was unusually close to her and she felt uncomfortable around him but she decided to ignore.

Several days passed by smoothly. Her cousins were visiting their father's family. Minha's mother and aunt went to a relative's funeral. They asked Minha and Sarah to take care of the meals of Men. Arham decided to go to play a basket ball match with his friends and their father was in his office.

Jafar came and asked the sisters if they cooked anything.

"One minute Uncle, food is cold so I will microwave it for you real quick" said Sarah and went to kitchen.

While Sarah was gone Minha again felt uncomfortable so she decided to go and help her sister but a hand stopped her....

Jafar tried to hug Minha from back and said "where are you going my dear?:

Minha replied, "I am going to kitchen to check on my sister. Maybe she needs my help."

Jafar started to touch her inappropriately and said, "but I also need your help. Oh my sweet girl you body is so perfect. I didn't know that a little girl will look so sexy. I wish your aunt had same body as yours."

Minha still had a mind of a child but something inside her told that something is not right and she tried to escape from his grip but Jafar held her tightly.

Fortunately, Sarah came back with food and Jafar quickly freed her. Minha let out a sigh of relief.

After that incident, Minha started to avoid Jafar  but she didn't tell anyone about that incident.

But Minha didn't know this was the start of her suffering..

She had some problems with her debate so her mom told her to ask Jafar to help.. but thinking about his behavior she felt uncomfortable so Minha asked her mom to accompany her.. Her mom said she had to do some work but Minha insisted that if her mom will not go with her she will not go... Her mom thought Minha is acting strange so she asked her to go on her own.. But seeing her crying face she agreed to accompany her...

Later that night her mom thought of Minha's strange behavior but then she shook her suspicions...

On her Birthday, after birthday party Minha was checking her gifts when Jafar came to her and asked, "What are you doing?"

Scared Minha almost jumped of couch then she said, "Oh! I'm checking my gifts.."

then Jafar said, "let me help you."

"No, I can do it on my own" Minha said and stood up from couch.

"My Dear, don't you want birthday gift from me?" Jafar said smirking.

An uncomfortable feeling swept across her again so she said, "It's OK uncle I have already lots of gifts."

Jafar said , "But I want to give you your gift." then he came close to her and tried to kiss her but Minha pushed him, he stumbled and tried to catch Minha but she went to her room and locked the door.

She felt extremely disgusted and uncomfortable. She ran to bathroom and vomited but the feelings of disgust never left her.

Then she decide to tell Sarah about the matter and ask for her help. Later that night when Sarah came to room to sleep Minha asked her if Sarah trusts her.

Confused Sarah replied, "Of course Mini (her nickname) why do you think I don't trust you?"

Minha mustered her courage and asked her, "If I tell you something bad about someone whom do you think is very good would you believe me?"

Sarah was still confused but she still replied, "You are scaring me Mini, tell me what happened?"

But Minha insisted, "First reply me, would you believe me or not?"

Sarah sighed and replied, "Of course I will believe you because I know you never lie to me, now tell me what happened."

then Minha told her about Jafar's behavior. Sarah was totally shocked and started to cry without her noticing. Then she hugged Minha and said, "Oh my poor baby, you were suffering without us knowing."

then Sarah told Minha that she should stay away from Jafar because he don't have good intentions. Then she explained Minha that girls should not let any man touch them and these type of things are bad so she should be careful.

As Minha was not given proper *** education she was still unaware of these type of things so Sarah explained everything to her and then asked her to tell mom about this matter as soon possible. Sarah asked Minha to not show mom that she shared everything with her.

Next morning, Minha did not go to school as she was not feeling good. She was still shocked from what she learned last night. After breakfast when everyone left and she and her mom were alone Minha decided to tell her mom everything.

She asked her mom if she believes her and her reaction was same as Sarah. When her mom assured her that no matter what she will believe her words, Minha told her everything.

Her mom was shocked from what he heard then she asked her if she shared these things with anyone else Minha shook her head. Then her mom asked her to not share anything with anyone. She asked her to keep quiet about this matter and stay away from Jafar.

She asked her to cover herself up whenever she comes in front of Jafar.

Present Day:

*10 years have passed and I am still suffering. 9 years old me did not know what to do. Now I am 19 years old and I still don't know what to do. I can't do anything but ask God to help me.*

Minha thought ant sighed.
