Y/n woke up with the first sound of her alarm and turned it off. It was exactly 6 o'clock. She went to bathroom to do her morning routine.

Y/n is the only daughter of Mr Min, the owner of Min enterprises. She is currently studying business management in her college. Since childhood, she had been portrayed as a cold and emotionless girl, so she actually has never made any friends. Well, she isn't really emotionless, it's just her unwillingness and unableness too at expressing her emotions. The main reason behind her present nature is lack of love in childhood. After a long shower y/n got ready.

She walked downstairs and to her surprise, she saw her mom cooking.

Mom: morning sweetie. We came back last night. You were asleep so we didn't wake you up.

Mom: it was tiring to be honest. But our collaboration with overseas markets improved.

She smiled and sat down on the counter. Her mom gave her freshly made pancakes and she started eating.

Dad: let's start your training from next week You should accompany me to meetings and make yourself familiar to our working atmosphere.

Mom: well y/n. Do you have a boyfriend?

Hearing this, y/n choked on her food. After a few moments, she just shook her head as a no. Her mom and dad glanced at each other.

Mom: do you perhaps like anyone?

Y/n's eyes widened. She suddenly remembered his face. The boy she likes. Her crush. She has been denying her feelings for a long time but to no avail. Sadly, he already has a girlfriend. And how would that bubbly kid like an icy cold girl as they say... Sigh...

Dad: so you don't mind if we choose someone for you? Well, you're almost 24. Its ideal age to get married and we will be relieved if you settle down with a little family of your own. (Smiles)

And she left with the driver.

Y/n's Mom's POV

Looking at her expressions, seems like there is someone. She can be expressionless to others, but I'm her mom. She sure likes someone.

Dad: let's find the Lucky guy.

They both went to y/n's room to look for clues. And after a long search, finally found something....

They flipped over the pictures and read the notes.

"Kim Taehyung.

At the college

Y/n got down her car only to see her crush, Kim Taehyung, walking in with his girlfriend Mira, Kang Mira. She felt sad but her face didn't show any emotions. That was her control over her expressions.

She saw them happily talking and as always, Tae was being his clingy self. No one knew how she kept that straight face.

Every thing went by normally. Nobody talked to her like always. But today, her heart was in different kind of pain. She knew she had to forget him but it's easier said than done.

Taehyung's POV

I was very happy today because my gf agreed to meet my parents. As always I picked her up for college and we saw the ice queen on our way.

I'm really curious about her but I'm afraid my gf will get

Angry. As for Mira, I've been dating her for three years now and it doesn't seem like it but she spends loads of money on shopping and my wallet is going to lose some weight tonight. Haha...

On the other side, y/n was still sitting in front of the mirror with her mum applying all kinds of makeups on her.

Mom: It's done sweetie! You look beautiful!

Y/n looked up at her reflection in the mirror...

Dad: my princess is the most beautiful. He entered the room from behind. Mom: let's go!Y/n's Mom and Dad linked arms with her on both sides and walked out of the dressing room into the main Hall. Y/n halted on her steps and tried to back away when she saw her classmates.

Mom: it's alright sweetie. I've invited them.

Y/n: but mom-

Dad: it's okay princess. It's good to have more people around on happy occasions.

They practically dragged her to the middle despite her pleadings. Her dad took the mic from a servant and cleared his throat before speaking.

"hello everyone welcome to the occasion. today, we are celebrating 24th birthday of my daughter Min y/n. I hope everyone will enjoy their time here .and also, I know my daughter is a little unfriendly and she doesn't like to interact too much but I hope you can accept her as your friend. I apologize for any inconvenience you might have undergone due to my daughter's personality. Have a nice evening.

He handed over the Mic to her mum.

Y/n was speechless. she had kept her cold image for so many years and here, her own parents were roasting her in front of her classmates. her mum handed over the Mic to y/n to let her speak a few words. she took it and...

Her mum glared at her so she picked it up again...

And she kept the mic back. From the corner of her eye, she saw Tae smiling towards her while many of her classmates were looking over with shocking expressions. She was actually comparable to a runway beauty.

After letting out a very slight smile, she followed her

father into a different room while her mum stayed back roasting her even more. She met a few officials before leaving the mansion to go to her apartment smoothly

After that day, y/n didn't go back to college. Instead, she started working in the company with her dad. She was still her cold and quite self. Within a month she familiarized herself with everything and like every other place the employees at office too were scared to approach her freely.

After one month.

On a beach, y/n's Mom and dad were taking a walk. They have come out on a little vacation leaving the office to y/n.

Mom: so about y/n's marriage...

Dad: we'll be meeting very soon. He's Mr. Kim's son, my assistant.

Mom: what did you say to Mr Kim?

Dad: I just told him I was looking for a good man for my daughter. And I asked him about his son. I told him I found that they're classmates and might be a good match if they agreed. Then he talked to his son who too had no problem. And we met.

Mom: I hope the man she wants is good enough.

Dad he's a good child. He'll keep her happy.

10 days later.

It was early morning. Y/n just woke up when her mom came in her room.

Mom morning sweetie.

Y/n: morning mom.

Mom: get ready sweetie. We'll be meeting our probable in-laws today.

Y/n: what?

Mom: we're taking you to a blind date today.

Y/n: you can choose mom. I need to go to office. (Tiredly)

After two hours they all reached the restaurant. Well, y/ n was ready in 15 minutes but her mom had to get ready

And they went in. Y/n's steps halted on the doorstep. Until yesterday, she so badly wanted the person she'd marry to be him but seeing him standing here before her with hurt eyes and a forced smile plastered on his face, she felt sad. He must've been forced to come here. He already loves someone else. How can she marry him.

Y/n's mind: I can't ruin his life...

Keeping her thoughts aside, she walked in.

Y/n: hello, Mr. And Mrs. Kim.

She bowed to the elders in respect. So did Tae. The elders exchanged greetings as well.

Y/n dad, can I talk to him outside?

Dad: oh! Sure.

Y/n than Signalled Tae to follow her and they walked outside.

Y/n: what are you doing here? Don't you already have a girlfriend? (raising eyebrows)
