Episode 1: Meeting
Alex
Sir, you have an important meeting that you need to be ready for in the next fifteen minutes.
Adrian
Thank you Ms. Shou, can you page the conference room and let my business lawyer know that I’ll be with him shortly, please?
Alex
Of course, Mr. West.
Adrian
Ms. Shou, you have been my assistant for almost two years now. We’ve had this talk before. There is no need to be so formal. Please, just call me Adrian.
Alex
Well if that’s the case, then just call me Alex Mr. Adrian.
She said with a smile as she dialed the number to the conference room.
Adrian heaved a sigh as he fixed his tie and gathered the files that would be revised during the meeting.
Alex
Mr. Adrian, I let your lawyer know that you will be with him soon. Do you need anything else?
Adrian admires how Ms. Shou can keep up with his busy schedule and still stay professional.
Adrian
Other than a boost of confidence, I think I am all set. As always, you’re doing a great job Ms. Alex.
Adrian grinned as Alex replied with a soft smile.
Alex
I’m sure you are going to do just fine sir. Now go before you are late!
Adrian looked down at his watch. The meeting starts at 2 and it is already 1:53.
Another sigh left his lips.
Adrian
Well I’m off then, wish me luck!
Adrian made his way through the office to get to the elevator. Once he pressed the button, the doors opened and he chose which floor he needed to go to.
As soon as he got to the conference room, he looked down at his watch, 1:59.
Barely made it, he thought to himself as he started greeting all the men in the room.
Episode 2: Sex Talk
After the meeting, Adrian went back up to his office to get his coat. On his way there, one of his employees- Ben, stopped him.
Ben
Hello, Mr. West. May I speak with you privately, please?
Adrian knew that the only reason why Ben wanted to talk was so they could arrange a time for when they’re supposed to meet later.
Adrian
Of course. I always have time to talk to my employees. Come with me to my office. We can talk there.
He gave him a fake smile. As genuine as it looked to everyone else, Ben could tell the difference.
Ben followed Adrian into his office. As soon as Ben shut the door behind him, Adrian began to speak.
Adrian
I thought we’ve been over the fact that you can’t take time out of my day to talk about what time we decide to have meaningless sex. I have a very busy schedule. You know that.
Adrian gave him a pointed look. Ben rolled his eyes and scoffed.
Ben
It may be meaningless, but it’s good. You can’t just be my one night stand buddy and not expect me to ask when the next time we can meet is.
Adrian took a deep breathe. Ben may have a point, but it still doesn’t excuse him from distracting him from work.
Adrian
Ben, the whole point of a one night stand, is to only have sex that one night. I also never agreed to being your sex buddy in the first place.
Adrian
I have more important things to do than worry about when the next time you’re going to get **** is.
Ben was getting frustrated. He only wants to have sex with his boss. He doesn’t understand why Adrian is giving him such a hard time.
Adrian
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to clock out so I can go home.
Adrian
Oh and to answer your question, we aren’t going to have sex again. We were both drunk last time and it was very unprofessional.
Adrian
Not that it’s any of your business, I’m meeting with someone later today so it wouldn’t have worked out even if I wanted it too. Have a nice evening, Ben.
Adrian watched as Ben left his office. He proceeded to grab his jacket and brief case and left the room. Before leaving he locked his door and clocked out.
Adrian
Today wasn’t so bad...
Episode 3
As soon as Adrian entered the bar, he looked around for his mother. Once he spotted her, he walked towards the table she was sitting at.
Rose stood up and gave Adrian a big smile.
Rose
Oh! My baby, it’s so good to see you! Give momma a hug! I’ve missed you so much, how are you darling?
Rose walked over to Adrian and starting smothering him with kisses on his cheek and gave him a strong hug.
Adrian
Mom please, I can’t breathe.
Adrian gasped for air when Rose let go.
Rose
I’m sorry hunny, I just get so happy when we are able to meet. You know how lonely I am now since your father passed away.
They gave each other a sad smile while they shared a silence of understanding.
Rose cleared her throat and signaled for them to sit down.
Rose
Anyway, how have you been? If you weren’t so busy all the time we’d be able to meet more often. Ever since you started running your own company, you’ve become the typical business man.
She gave a laugh that made Adrian smile.
Rose
You know I’m bad with with all the technology we have nowadays. I’ve been trying to figure out how to use your app, Swift. It’s quite popular! I’ve read the reviews on the App Store and everyone seems satisfied with all the aspects of your app. I would like to text you more, but I don’t want to be a bother since I know how busy you are.
His mom sighed and smiled at him.
Rose
I am so proud of you. After everything you’ve accomplished, how could I not! Look at you, my little man is all grown up. Ugh, I’m getting old. Let’s order some drinks, on me of course. It’s the least I could do Ri-Ri.
Adrian smiled at the nickname his mom always used to call him when he was younger.
Adrian
Please mom, let me pay. After all, I am the one who asked to meet. I’ve missed you a lot, so drinks are on me.
