Mei Li gapped at the luxurious interior design.
She could not believe she was actually standing inside a private jet that was bigger than her painting studio in the capital!
And to think that it was owned by the family of her younger best friend, Zhao Yue.
Mei Li was once again reminded about the gap that exists between Zhao Yue and her.
They have known each other for 10 years and in that span, the orphan, Wu Mei Li, and the only daughter of the biggest Zhao Conglomerate, Zhao Yue, made their friendship stronger even against all the negative connotations and slander.
Wu Mei Li was grateful for Zhao Yue's friendship.
They have shed tears together whether it was because of their love life or the pressure life pushes into their hands,
they have grown matured together with every laughter after all the tears,

Yue's frantic voice snapped Mei Li from her thoughts.
Yue put her red Hermes Birkin bag at the table with a loud audible thud not caring if it would be scratched before sitting at the couch-like seat and then starting to text in her phone.
Mei Li was horrified with eyes wide open and mouth gaped.
The orphan mentally counted the depreciation rate of the bag and subtracted the cost of the scratches it now had.
Bodyguard
"Miss Wu, Please sit down so we can take off."
One of the bodyguards told Mei Li while beaconing her towards the seat opposite to Yue's.
Mei Li smiled at the guards as she sat and eyed the nervous Yue with suspicion.
Questions began to pop into her mind like a horrifying grocery list for the homeless and she knows only Yue could answer them,

"Why are we going to Paris abruptly? Who are you texting? Why are you nervous?"
Mei Li saw how Yue tensed up after her questions.
There was a tense silence with Yue fiddling with her phone and not looking up from her phone.
It was rare to see Yue behaving like this.
Yue was the bright and cheery Sun to Mei Li's calm and collected Moon.
Mei Li was about to ask her questions again when Yue decided to reply,
Zhao Yue
"It's about Chen Zhong.."
That name made Mei Li tense up more than Yue.
Chen Zhong was Mei Li's boyfriend for more than 3 years now.
Although they share the same passion with art, Zhong and Mei Li were somewhat like water and oil.
In fact, they could not agree with what colour to paint the room, or what food to eat, or what movie to watch, or who the other should be friends with.

If you don't know her you'll think that it was a pretty smile but Yue prided herself on being the person that was constant in Mei Li's life and she knows that it was fake.

Mei Li's clear voice made Yue's heartbreak.
Mei Li's voice was usually soft and lazy, almost like she was too lethargic to open her mouth to speak.
It always amazed Yue how gentle and charming Mei Li was in comparison to her voice.
Yet this time, the words were pronounced more clearly.
Mei Li was forcing herself to speak.
Yue compelled her eyes to her phone to read the reply from her brother,

「And to think your best friend's boyfriend is the one my supposed 'girlfriend' is cheating with… such a small world. Did you bring her with you?」
She immediately typed her reply before glancing at Mei Li, who was closing her eyes, for a second,

In all the 10 years Yue learned in Mei Li's company is that you never expect anything from Mei Li especially her reactions. When you think you know her, you're shown differently.
Yue replied quickly as she and Mei Li entered the bulletproof Rolls-Royce,

Her brother and Mei Li will finally have a chance to meet.
They had always been like parallel lines, two persons on the same pane but never intersecting.

"Mei Li! We're here!"
Wu Mei Li turned towards her best friend, Zhao Yue, who was pulling her hands and signalling with her head for Mei Li to get off the black car that was more expensive than most Hermes bag.
Mei Li promptly let herself be tugged towards the entrance as her eyes scan the beautiful Eiffel Tower in the background.
Standing in front of the revolving doors of the hotel, Yue watched as Mei Li stopped, straighten her spine, the pink lens glasses placed above her head was placed to cover her eyes and breathed deeply.
Yue smirked at Mei Li's action with an approving nod. This was one of the reasons Zhao Yue, the only daughter of the Zhao Conglomerate, was friends with the orphan Wu Mei Li. For an orphan, Mei Li had the confidence and the charisma many high-class ladies lacks.
Yue gravitated towards Mei Li instantly on the first time they meet. Mei Li's charisma could only be compared to her CEO brother.
Even Zhao Yue's mother, born with noble blood, lacked a certain charm compared to Mei Li.
Mei Li entered the hotel first while Yue followed.
Yue's eyes observing everything; the guards in the front desk nodded their heads towards her subtly and she rolled her eyes in exasperation.

There have been countless times where men are entranced and stare shamelessly at Mei Li, which was understandable in her opinion.
Mei Li had naturally fair skin that lacked blemish,

and although her lips had no lipsticks it was still reddish with perfect proportions.
Yue should know, she had complained verbally to Mei Li about the injustice of her perfect proportions.

"Is someone named Chen Zhong checked in this hotel?"
Mei Li red lips moved softly capturing the eyes of the two attendants.
Her voice had a lazy rhythm that was unique only to her.
Mei Li cleared her throat with her right eyebrows up and head cocked to the left in a questioning manner.
The attendant David in his name-tag was the first to respond in a shy manner at being caught blatantly staring,
David | Attendant
"We cannot give you that information Miss."
Mei Li and Yue's eyes meet and Yue shrugged innocently and asked,
Zhao Yue
"How about a woman named Lu Yi Jie? I'm sure she was on the Executive Suite on the 6th floor, I believe?"
The attendants scrambled to type on the computer when Yue spoke, knowing her identity as the CEO's younger sister.
The guards beside the front desk were looking at the attendants with a rapt attention which made them more nervous.
They felt their soul jump in nervousness with the beat of their hearts.
Never mind the beauty with red lips, the woman beside her could get them fired with only a word to her brother.
David | Attendant
"Yes, Ma'am!"
They answered in a chorus and the other followed,

"There is a woman with that name checked-in at room 602. In fact, she paid with the CEO's credit card."
Zhao Yue
"I know. That's the reason why we're here in the first place."
The two attendants although curious refrained from asking.
They turned towards each other only when the two women disappeared with the guards as the elevator closed.
Attendant
"Did you see the woman beside Miss Zhao?"
David | Attendant
"Hot, Man! Skin like a pearl, lips like roses, and a gravity like a sun."
Attendant
"That man with Miss Lu might be her boyfriend. She was insistent to see him rather than the CEO's cheating girlfriend."
David | Attendant

The two attendant jumped when the deep voice interrupted their gossip.
As they turned their heads towards the direction where the voice came from, they felt their soul leaving their body for the second time today

The two attendant immediately greeted the grinning man.

They turned next to the stoic man beside the grinning CEO, who merely nodded at them.

The 6 foot 2 inches man waved goodbye towards them as he and his secretary entered the door beside the front desk,
which the attendants know was the monitoring room for all the cameras in the hotel.
The two attendants could only stay silent as they look at each other even when they wanted to know more about the events happening inside the hotel.
Meanwhile, Mei Li walked with haste as Yue and her bodyguards followed her.
They arrived on the front door of the room with the numbers 602 was embossed in gold.
Yue could hear a pin drop in the silence and the sound of the camera changing angle was not missed by her.
Yue turned towards the left discreetly where a camera could be found and posed her hands into a victory sign with her tongue out knowing her brother was observing them.
She was sure that the bodyguards had cameras in them too.
Zhao Yue
'Sit back and watch as my best friend show her how badass she really is. I just know you're going to be so interested in her!'
Yue's thought towards her elder brother with a secret grin she covered with her hand.
Yue only stopped goofing off when Mei Li opened the door softly.
Yue could see the battle inside Mei Li and made her a bit guilty with her happiness.
She shook her head and calmed herself as they entered into the hallway softer than the way they walked before.
Mei Li's and Yue's eyes widen seeing the caught act.
Moans and groans of lasciviousness bombarded into their ears like a wild bass and the sound of skin hitting skin made their blood boil.

The gasp that left Mei Li's lips were not heard by the owners of the two joined bodies.
If she was not seeing it with her own eyes, she would not have believed it.
Chen Zhong, who had promised her tomorrows, is now in front of her; cheating.

Mei Li is a soft-spoken and gentle woman.
Although she looked seductive at initial glance, her attitude was completely different.
Mei Li was the opposite of Yue.
In this situation, Yue would have already thrown a tantrum while dragging the woman and the cheating man outside for a round of humiliation but Mei Li was not like that.
Mei Li was chaos in her own right, not the large and loud storm Yue brings but the silent pandemic like the black plague.
Both leaving behind devastation.
Without warning, Mei Li took her phone, pressed the red button to record, and placing it in the side table near them.
Yue could only watch with mixed emotions as Mei Li carried out what she had planned.

She went near the bed and clapped her hands three times abruptly stopping the activities.

"You guys should have called me earlier so I can enjoy the show more."
Yue wanted to laugh and cheer visibly how badass Mei Li is.
Chen Zhong urgently stopped and wrapping Lu Yi Jie in bed sheets.
Yue watched with Mei Li as they hurried to dress in their positions on the bed.
Mei Lin
"No please, don't let me interrupt your fun."
Mei Li stopped both the people's nervous movements.
Mei Lin
"I'm only here to inform Chen Zhong before we go our different ways."
Chen Zhong looked up and began to open his mouth to talk but was blocked by the hand Mei Li raised to signal him to stop.
Mei Li's gentle voice did not waiver and Chen Zhong still hung from the previous passionate activities, was charmed by the slow movements of Mei Li's red lips.
He would have not cheated if Mei Li merely gave him what he wanted.
Mei Li was clearly more beautiful than Lu Yi Jie.

"I plan to rent out my apartment in the capital starting next month after my vacation so you should take care of your things before that.
If you don't get it by the time I return, I'll have people throw it out in the dumpster."
Mei Li turned away with a wide smile.

Chen Zhong took a step back in horror.
Mei Lin
"Fooling me once, I can forgive. But fooling me twice means I'm letting you do so and giving you a chance to do it for the third time is never going to happen."
Mei Li then crossed her hands and with her charisma made herself looking taller than the 6 foot Chen Zhong as she ended,

"You really should continue the previous activities you were doing with Miss Lu so that Miss Lu's 'boyfriend' can also witness a beautiful scene."
Yue started to loudly snicker as Lu Yi Jie blanched white.
The events downing on her like a tsunami.
The appearance of Zhao Yue was enough to know that the things that she has been doing were discovered.

Yue asked Mei Li only when they were already in the elevator far enough from the hearing of the cheating couple.

"You goofing off at the camera was obvious enough."
Mei Li's smile makes Yue melt in nervousness,

but it's probably the camera with these two that have the microphone."
Yue pointed towards the two guys trying to stay stoic at their conversation.
Mei Li glanced at the two men in black suits with a black earpiece in their left ears.
Her head was not turned to the men but only her eyes were at the sides of her eyes observing the two bodyguards making them sweat a bit with a pause.
Mei Lin
"Sir Edmund, your Mercedes has sinned against you but I, Sarah, had led my Abraham into his. Hoping for Sir Edmund to be lenient."
And then the elevator sounded with a ding.
Mei Li left three people in the elevator totally confused.
While in the monitoring room, Secretary Bai watched the CEO smirked as he heard the sentence from the beauty.
