*Dear Dale,

*I have wondered over the school break and before we started our journey in the Uni. Will I let you know about my love or should I just keep all to myself and forget it just like how we will eventually forget all of the basic educations and formulas we have studied during high school.

I figured that as we go along the way I will compose this letter and eventually will give it to you. Hopefully, I would have the strength before our Uni days are over.

Gidz decided that once the Uni started he will do his best to win the heart of his first and only love, Dale. He has known him during his last year in high school. Gidz did not almost graduated if not because of Dale who inspired him to be his best.

4th Year – 2nd Quarter

(You would hear an echoing sound from a distance. Students were screaming as this group of boys from other high school were busy beating up a guy wearing his high school uniform.)

You would hear other students were saying:

“We should call the school guards and teachers!”

“We should call for help!!”

“We should help him!”

You would also hear other students saying:

“Don’t get yourselves involve!”

“Let him! His always instigating trouble!”

Despite of the contradicting statements you would hear from the students there were two high school students from the same school of the boy who’s being beaten helped out.

“Dale! Cover him!” he grabbed the boy and hugged him tight “Hold on buddy! We are here to help” he whispered. The other boy exchanged punches with the other boys from the other high school. Moments after the school security and teachers came to sojourn the chaos.

All of them were sent to the hospital.

“I got bruises on my back”

“I think I have one too”

They were busy taking when the beaten boy woke up. “Oh there! You are now awake…” the boy just looked at the window and did not say anything. He was feeling ashamed for the first time, normally he would cause the chaos and get beaten up alone. But, yesterday there were two strangers helped him even they did not know him personally.

“Thank you for helping me. But, that was not really necessary.” He said with a low town of voice. “You know what – It was not my intension to help… You need to say thank you to my friend and –“ he moved closer to the boy sitting on the hospital bed and tapped his shoulder “and say it sincerely” he gave the boy a smirk and moved out of the hospital room.

“You know for a troublemaker I didn’t expect that you would do something nice for a girl.” Dale said with a calm tone of voice and a gentle smile on his face “What do you mean?” the boy asked. “I mean I heard you talking to the other boy that you would let them do those things to you so long as they will leave \-\-\-\-“ he pauses “I can’t recall the girl’s name. The only thing I can recall is that you would let them beat you up for the sake of that girl.” He continued “Your love?” Dale asked while handing a glass of water to the boy.

“None of your business!” he snobby said. They were both quiet for quite some time but the atmosphere changes when they started to talk again. “Ahhmm –“ boy said “Do you need anything?” he put down his phone and asked “Nope, I just want to say thank you for helping me and for not hesitating while doing it” he said while looking at Dale.

As I kept all of my baggage carry the bad reputation I have known for. You looked at me in the eye and held my hands so tight. Just like how you held me in your arms and protected me against the bad boys that day. You have seen me in a different ray of sun were none of them ever had*.

*That day, I have fallen for you and up to this point, I am still loving you*!

(Club sound’s ranging at the bar. Everyone’s screaming, smiling and celebrating)

“I was really shocked when I saw you Dale with Gidz in the hospital room. At some point I got confused.” Rhyme yelled as they were trying to hear each other at the bar “I am glad we all became friends and now we are all in the same Uni!!!” he added. Dale, Gidz, Rhyme and Rhythm became close friends after Dale and Rhythm helped Gidz whose childhood friend of Rhyme.

It was their 3rd week in the Uni and they all decided to go out and have fun since it is weekend. The night is still young, they knocked off bottles after bottles after bottles. Rhythm and Rhyme were having fun at the dance floor. Gidz and Dale were busy chatting and checking out some new games on their phones.

First day of Uni (Gidz’s added part on the letter)

Hey! I have decided to get back on my letter for you, written in this notebook because I feel like my plan of getting close to you during Uni days will no longer work. I think my heart will burst anytime soon, so I think I will confess sooner than I thought.

“Hey! Gidz I gotta tell you something” Dale rested his arms to Gidz’s shoulder and whisper. Gidz felt really nervous, he was planning to confess today but got caught off guard because of Dale what was he planning to say? He said on top of his head.

They have decided to end the night, Rhythm went with his brother Rhyme while Gidz and Dale spent few more minutes at the parking lot. Resting their butts on their car’s hood and looking at the stars Gidz started the conversation “Wanna talk about the thing you mentioned earlier?” he said while still looking at the stars. Dale look down and smirk, he was uncertain at first but he was sure that he is with his dear friend whom he trusted the most.

“I am in love” he said with a gentle tone of voice. He was still looking down and smiling. But this time it was evident that he has someone’s face in his mind that is why he is smiling.

You know how people would react if they are in pain? I have at least 3 scenarios in mind.

- The first scenario is, people would react so damn hard. They would start screaming they heart out and cry because they recognize the pain and acknowledge it real time.

- The second scenario is, people would have no reaction at all. They acknowledge the pain but barely recognize the way how they should handle it.

- Last, people will just die. It was too painful that they can no longer react and will just die. Either they will literally will or emotionally die.

Gidz was in between the second and third scenario. He was dearly preparing his heart to confess his love but never imagined that he will be shocked by the fact that his best friend, his first love and his special someone has fallen for someone.

“Wow! Congratulations!! How can I help you buddy?” Gidz reacted, he decided to pull an act. Supported his friend and set aside his own feelings. Dale was surprised and felt supported by his friend “Thanks buddy! I wanted to tell it to you firs because I badly need your help. You are known for being famous to the girls especially during the last quarters we had back in high school.” He said while looking at Gidz with his in love aura and look in his eyes. “Let’s inform Rhyme and Rhythm as well. For sure they will be happy and would definitely help you as well”

The night ended with a hope for Dale and a wounds for Gidz heart.

First Day in Uni

(Everyone’s busy and excited for their first day on the University. So as the bad guys targeting the Freshies, first year students are more vulnerable and easier target for them. They are just checking them out from the outside of the Campus and would go after them when they are alone so they could steal any valuable stuff from them and hurt them if needed)

“I Think I got here too early. I will look for the assembly building and park my car close to the main building” Dale was talking to Gidz over the phone as he starts parking his car to the building’s parking lot. “It was good that I came here early but a bit uncomfortable at the same time.” Dale parked his car and starts gathering his stuff when a security knocked on his car’s door “Wait up, I gotta check this out. A guard is knocking on my car”

Gidz was just close to the Uni so he drove as fast as he can so he can park next to Dale.

“Give me you phone, your watch, your wallet and the car key” It turns out a bad guy dressed as a guard targeted Dale. Few more guys came over and starts frisking him. Dale heard a loud scratch of wheels and banged some of the guys targeting him. Things happened in a flash and dale felt really scared and lost at the same time.

“Give me your hand!” a girl asked for his hand, grabbed it and ran away with him. “Oh \*\*\*\*! My lungs…” the girl said while holding her chest. Dale was stunned and got frozen, he was just looking at her.

In front of him is a girl who is already in her fourth year college. She looks stunning, classy and strong, Dale felt really happy being saved by this girl “Ahhmm, Thank you!” Dale whispered “No problem, we should go and file a report now. We’ve been paying too much for this University and they can’t even afford a reliable security system. Such a waste of money” she said with a furious look “Don’t thank me too much you should say thank you to the \-\-\-“ she stopped talking when they heard a phone ring “Let me picked up this one”

To cut the story short, Dale fell for Alex the first time they have met each other. He’s been crazy about this situation and therefor conclude few days after that he is in love with her.

“Alright! So now that we know how you feel about her. How are you planning to confess?” Rhyme asked while they were on lunch break “That I am not really sure” Dale answered he looked at Gidz and Rhythm waiting for his suggestions “I think we should looked for her first!” Rhythm suggested “Her name is Alex” Dale stated

Gidz checked the Uni Profile Site and found Alex “What the F! You are good at it huh!?” Dale hugged Gidz and checked his laptop “How come you know her name?” Dale curiously asked. Gidz looked at his eyes, he has a sparkling eyes. The kind of eyes that he has been longing for himself but is now sparkling for someone else. “Most of the girls with that nickname are Alexandra on their birth name” he casually answered, playing it cool and keeping all the pain inside.
