4 years ago, a sweet and bright girl named Kim Jin Ah got her first boyfriend named Ahn Gye Seon. He was kind and sweet to Jin Ah. They became the highschools most popular couple. On the day of their one year anniversary , Jin Ah bought some flowers and cake to celebrate with her boyfriend at home.

When she went to his house, she saw a pair of heels was at the front of the doorstep. Jin Ah was young and naïve to imagine those were his sister’s shoes . She walked into his house and saw his arm wrapped around a girl and flirting with each other. Jin Ah was shocked and confused , she didn’t know what to do. Minnie, her highschool friend knew what happened and spent the whole night comforting Jin Ah and cursing on Gye Seon.

Jin Ah was recalling all the sweet moments she had with Gye Seon . She was so in love with him . All the sweet text messages, all the lovely dates they went on , all the kind things he did for her, all disappear with the wind. She starts to wonder if those things were even sincere. She never thought even the sweetest and kindest guy could end up to be such a jerk.

It’s been a long time since the breakup. Jin Ah has already moved on from the past. Leaving behind everything about her ex , even her lovely bubbly personality. Her world has become black and white, not even a crack of smile.

In the past, she would wear floral patterned outfits as her signature looks but now she only wears monotone suits as her daily outfit. Her daily routine is just eat, sleep and work all day. Although Minnie was shocked by the dramatic change, all she could do was support her decision.

There’s a new guy coming in to the company. His name is Jung Eun Hyeok. Everyone is gossiping about him because they heard that he has one of the best application form and it’s a bonus that he is handsome . Apparently he is applying to be a real estate attorney in Changabi law firm .

Rumours fly everywhere and is definitely heard by Jin Ah especially when her best friend is the gossip queen of the law firm. Because of her, Jin Ah is always updated with latest gossips. But there was one rumour that couldn’t leave Jin Ah’s mind, is that a lot of people are saying that the new guy’s interview and application is very impressive. It seems like he could be as good as Jin Ah when she first started working at Changabi.

Knowing Jin Ah, she’s not going to let anyone be better than her unless she admits it herself. She can be competitive at times especially when its about her work and performance. She won’t accept just an OK or good as her praise. Her skills are way higher than that.

When Eun Hyeok arrives, all the ladies in the office offers to help him out and show him around the building . The rumours are true, his face is like a magnet that attracts the ladies everywhere he goes. He’s sweet and kind and smiles to everyone he meets.

“The client claims that her neighbour is abusing their daughter and have been screaming and shouting at her. I want you to guide Eun Hyeok and win this case.” Said Ji Suk (one of the senior attorneys in the law firm) to Jin Ah.

Jin Ah was determined to show her cool side to Eun Hyeok and show him how it’s done in court. In everyone’s eyes the court is just a place where they work. But in her eyes ,court is just a place to win every battle and competition. No matter who she works with, her competitive and confident side always shows.
