It was Ika. She was the girl with 'deadly eyes'. Since she was born, everyone she looked at she'd make them sick, or die. It depends on the time that her and person's eyes meet for. If they look at each other too long, they die, if just little, then they get kinda feeling of being sick. Her parents would never look at her, neither at her eyes, because they were too afraid to lose their lives, specially for nothing. Ika mostly would ignore everyone and at school teachers wouldn't even call her to answer or to do some tasks. She would mostly listen to music, read books, draw or write. And even when she could look at people when they weren't looking at her, she wouldn't. It would let her hope rise that way... And she didn't want to make it rise.

Ika was simple girl, only her hairstyle was a bit weird compared to other hairstyles. When she was 5 years old, she had beautiful long hair, they were very pretty: long, curly, brown-dark red hair, but she was so stressed, because she would get distracted by other people and then make damages, so one day she took knife and cut her hair that way, that it'd be quite short but not too short, and that front hair would be long enough to cover her eyes. So that even when she wants to look around, she couldn't see properly. She also would usually wear dresses, colorful ones. Her shoes were kinda old, but for her, it was enough.

At home her parents would ignore Ika and live normally. But truth was painful, every time her mum looked at Ika, she was disguised. Once Ika's mother said to her: "You bring only pain, and you dare to tell me that you need 'love'?! Every single time I look at you, I wish you were dead, or wasn't born at all". Ever since then girl didn't talk with her mother, she was silent, though her dad always tried to talk to her and make her feel better. But Ika was carrying those words with her every single day, it would always remind her to be 'no one'.

It was bright morning, when Ika woke up because of mother's scream. Her parents were arguing. So she just stood up from her bed, got prepared for school and went out through her room's window. She didn't eat that morning, though that was nothing unusual to her.

"My mother probably wants to make dad agree with leaving me, or something similar...", Ika said to herself, while walking to school.

That day at school when she went, some bullies noticed her. They would usually pick up on her. But today it was not too funny anymore.

"Today you look like my trash bag, just not overfilled yet", one of bullies said.

"I think we need to overfill garbage, what do you think boys?", other said, while smirking.

Then they took some food from their table and slowly started going toward Ika. She didn't want to make scene, last time when she did, her mother went insane, she almost killed her, with her own hands against Ika's neck. She was silent. When gang was close enough, they threw all the food on Ika's head, and made sure to get her clothes dirty, then her hair.

Girl was terrified, then she tried to run off, but boys caught her arm and didn't let go. Then one of them took marker, took off a bit of shirt and drew something on her back. Then she had enough, she took a cutting knife and attacked them, but it went so wrong, one of them caught it and injured Ika on her face.

Then she ran off of there as fast as possible.

She went to the only place that she liked. To the Rosés Garden. Near garden there was a lake, so Ika went near the lake. She was standing there in front of it and cried, a lot.

Little did she know that it would change everything.

She felt someone's hand touch her back and push Ika straight to the lake that she was near.

Only thing she saw was dark sky as she fell into the lake. She could swim but this time she was so tired and weak, that she didn't even want to swim out of this deep lake. Though it wasn't pleasure to just drown but Ika was happy. First time she could've looked around without fear.

It was getting darker by every second, and then it went absolutely dark. Water was warm and pleasant. She loved it. It was probably last and first thing she started to love at that world, that warmth, it felt like a hug...

Now she felt it even clearer. She could've felt heat coming from hands wrapped around her body. Ika felt shy, but she didn't open up her eyes. She was wondering, "Whose voice is this? Where am I? Just seconds ago I was drowning...".

She didn't want to show that she's awake so Ika decided to just be like that for a while...

She was also scared to scare away others by looking at them with her eyes, that could do quite a lot of damage. It may not only hurt person physical, but it also can hurt them psychologically... That way when she was only 6 years old, from anger she made some girls, who were too picky, to go to the psychologists.

After some time she heard a deep male's voice," What shall we do? It's way too heavy to take around and it might place us at the worse position...".

"Well we can give some garlic to smell to her and then at least it wouldn't be that heavy to carry her around.", said way older man.

Then the other one smiled, took his backpack and took out something from it. It was looking quite heavy. The thing he took out of his backpack was small box. Even though the box was quite small, it was heavy enough for its size. They were hundreds of different smells coming from it; some of them were pretty sweet aromas, but some were so horrible that you could probably even kill someone with it. Then the guy slowly put it next to Ika's nose.

It was hard for her to not to 'wake up', but she tried to stay strong and don't give up easily!

"Oh well, I know one other way. As much as I used it, it always worked,- kiss the 'sleeping' person and they'll wake up.", The young guy said and smirked. He already saw that the girl was awake, because her breathing wasn't like sleeping person's.

Ika was too nervous and then she thought of best that she could at that time to think of.

She suddenly leaned away from the strong hands that were holding her and now was laying on the ground, with her head bowed as low as possible. Then she kinda made a mess from her hair and shook her head a bit. That way it would be easier to see nothing but the needed road.

"HA! Knew that would work well. ", said the same guy.

Then the other, older spoke, "You better stop your silly games, it'll go too far someday, you'll see that I'm right in the end, when it's going to be too late, boy".

"C'mon, you know I like to joke around".

"These are old-fashioned, get something modern!", said some girl with arrogance. And they all started laughing.

Then the boy, who was holding Ika, walked closer to her laying on the ground, and kneeled next to Ika.

"Hey, don't be afraid...", he said, but it didn't concern girl to speak up. "I know it might be scary, but there's always first time for everything...", Ika was stunned, he was talking about the situation as if he knew what had happened to her earlier... "My name's - Arison, what about you?'', he smiled warmly.

Ika didn't look him in the eye and still was looking down, then she opened her mouth,"I'm Ika", she didn't say anything more.

"Wow, beautiful name", said Arison.

Arison wasn't the leader of the group but he was serious and understanding with others, even when he was the youngest there, he would act most of the everyone there like an adult.

Then Arison helped her stand up and took her hand. Thought it was for only few seconds, Ika shook it away, she wasn't used to such things and it would only make it all harder.

There was a huge bumping sound suddenly. The ground of the tiny house was shaking and walls were looking so fragile... Then there were loud sounds of shots, they were so close!

Ika suddenly saw some sort of a blue and purple lights, they were like candles in the deep night... So light!
