I am in an unfamiliar room right now. My head hurts so bad. I think I drank too much last night. But w-wait why am I?

Selene Montessori bite her nails so hard trying to remember what happened last night.

My private part were hurting. I can guarantee that something happened last night due to the blood stains on the sheets and the pain that I am feeling down there.

I immediately got up and took a quick shower and left the place.

I haven't introduced myself I guess, I am Selene Montessori, 25 years old and a nursing student. I am on my own since I was 17 years old, my mom and dad died in a car accident and I have no siblings nor relatives to rely on in this life. I am working in an office owned by my friend's parents. I am really blessed to have met such wonderful family that treats me as if I'm also their own. I am only renting a bed space near the school to lessen my expenses. Life is really hard, and I am worrying what if I got pregnant by what happened yesterday night? What will I do? Should I abort the kid? Should I not let the baby experience how hard life is? I have a lot of what if's in my mind. And I don't know who's the man from last night! Dang! If I got pregnant, I will be doomed.

FEW WEEKS LATER...

I decided to go to a clinic to have myself checked. These past few days I feel nauseous, I crave weird foods and combine them, I am irritable and very emotional. I just don't know what's happening to me. Aside from that, what I am worrying about is that I still didn't have my period. I think I got pregnant by the man from that night.

The doctor came out from her little room and told me, "Where's the father of this child that you are bearing?"

My eyes widen, "I am pregnant?"

The doctor responded, "Yes, you are a 14 days pregnant congratulations!" the doctor added, "You have to eat a lot of nutritious foods and a lot of liquids, be careful not to bump your tummy. Take this and come here in my clinic if bleeding and such happens."

"Thanks doc, I'll go ahead"

I still cannot believe that this is happening. I was impregnated by someone whom I don't know, nor I saw.

I went somewhere to relax my mind since today is Saturday, I have no classes and work. I am thinking of aborting this child. I want to finish my studies and become successful in life, but I am aware that I will not make it when I have this thing in my tummy. What should I do?

Selene saw a kid that is holding an ice cream and approached her.

"Are you crying?" said the kid.

"No, I am not" she wipped her tears.

"But you are wipping your tears just now"

"I am wipping my eyes it's because I got something in my eyes." the kid looks convinced on Selenes's alibi.

"What's your name baby?" Selene asked.

"My name is Kalix Morgan and I am 5 years old"

"Where are your parents? Why are you alone here?" she brushes the young boy's hair.

"They're buying something but they'll be back in a minute"

"You shouldn't go anywhere else okay? You have to be where your parents told you to stay so that they can find you easily"

"Okaaaaaaay, can I call you Ate? Ate means big sister right?"

"Yes, you can"

"Ate, I know you are crying earlier that's why I approached you. I hope whatever you are going through you shouldn't give up okay?"

"Pfft, you talk like a middle-aged man" Selene can't stop herself from giggling and the little boy joined her.

Their moment put to an end when Kalix was called by her parents. He bid his goodbye to Selene and kiss her on her cheeks. "What a sweet little boy" Selene told herself. The little boy just now made her realize that she will raise the child no matter what and love her with all that she has. I will stay here for a bit, I guess my baby wants to smell some fresh air.

LUCAS POV

My term being the CEO of my brother's company came to an end because he took over it. Finally........ I can take some rest.

Lucas suddenly smiled and remembered something that happened weeks passed. That girl from that night never get rid of his thoughts everyday. Her moans, how her body reacts to his touch. I am missing it, he said to himself.

He was on his way to his house when she found a girl silently sleeping on a chair in the park. He feels like the girl is very familiar, he just can't clearly see her face. Due to his curiosity, he decided to stop his car and entered the park. He goes near the lady and was shocked that it was that lady from last night. He touched her cheeks and remove some strands of hair that's covering her face. What a beauty! Lucas told himself.

After a minute of staring the sleeping Selene, she suddenly moved and accidentally hugged Lucas. "It's so cold" she murmured. Lucas, being a gentleman as he is, removes his coat and covered the lady. It was already dark and he is worried of leaving her alone, Lucas decided to carry the lady and bring her to his house.

The two arrived at Lucas' mansion. Yes, it's a mansion given by his brother Sam. He carried her to his room and when they are on their way there, Selene suddenly whined as if she's having a nightmare. "Shush baby, it's okay, it's fine, I'm here, I will not hurt you, it's fine, calm down now". Lucas told the sleeping Selene. And after saying those, Selene calmed and continued sleeping. Lucas smiled as to how she reacted. He feels like he wants to take care of her forever.

He carefully put Selene down the bed. Before he left the room, he kissed Selene on the forehead and said, "Take a rest now baby, I may not know you fully now but we have a lot of time to do that" and then he remembered how his face looks like, he laughed bitterly, "I hope you don't get scared after seeing me" and then he leaned on and kissed her lips. He made sure that she's comfortable with her position before he left. "I really wanted to be with her right now, I want to hug her tightly" he snapped himself of his thoughts and decided to take a quick shower before going to bed.

Lucas POV

I was about to sleep when I heard the lady the brought in screaming. I immediately go to my room and embraced her. She keeps calling her mom, "Mom please don't go I am so scared". She keeps on saying those words.

"Shush, your mom may not be here but I am here okay? I will not let bad things happen to you". I told her. She keeps on kicking her feet and a few minutes she calmed down and slowly opened her eyes.

"Where am I?" the lady asked.

"Who are you?" she began shaking again.

"Please don't be afraid. I will explain it to you okay? I saw you sleeping in the park. I brought you in because it's already dark and I guess you have no plan on going home".

The lady were embarrassed after knowing the reason why she was in his place.

"I am very sorry. You helped me yet I was very ungrateful towards you. Don't worry I'll go home right now".

I cannot let her go at this hour, I'm afraid something bad might happen to her on her way home.

"It's alright, you can stay here and go back home tomorrow daytime. I can't let you walk on your own at this hour".

"Okay" the lady responded.

"Can you please turn the lights on? I'm afraid of dark"

"I'm afraid you'll be disgusted by my face" Lucas said it bitterly.

"Why would I be? Whatever your face looks like doesn't matter, what matters the most is that you have a kind heart".

I couldn't help myself but to gush over as to what this lady said. "I've never heard anyone told me that, you're the first" the lady giggled. "Please turn it on now."

Lucas followed Selene's order and turned on the lights, he slowly turned his head towards her and let her see his bare face. She was so shocked at first, her eyes looks pity on him, that's what Lucas doesn't want others to show him.

"Don't look at me that way, I hate it". He told her.

"I am sorry, I didn't mean it that way" she lowered her head down.

"Just as what I expected" he stated sadly.

Lucas was about to stand up when he was held by the lady in the hand.

"Where are you going? Are you mad at me for looking at you that way?" the lady stated.

"I-I thought you're scared of me"

"No, I am not, why would I?"

She then rested her back to the headboard to clearly see the man's face and touched his scars.

"Does it hurt?" she asked.

Lucas was taken aback as to what the lady was doing. He feels his face is bloody red. It was the first time, someone looked him straight to his face and even touched his face!

"May I ask why did this happen?" while still holding his face.

"Why aren't you talking? Are you okay?" she then hold his forehead to see if he's having a fever.

"Hey! Are you okay?"

Lucas regain his senses.

"Y-yes I am, I am very sorry if I zoned out. I will leave you here so that you can have a good rest."

He got up and when he almost reach the door knob. The lady told him, "Can you not leave me here please?" when he turned around, he can see that the lady was about to cry again.

He panicked and he immidiately goes to her. "Hey, please stop crying you're worrying me". "Okay I will not cry anymore".

He joined the lady on the bed and to his surprise, the lady pulls him closer. "Please stay this close to me. I don't know why but I love your scent". He didn't know why but he pulled her tight.

"Sleep now okay?"

"Mmhm"

"Before I close my eyes, may I know your name mister?"

"I am Lucas, Lucas Deligero"

"How about you?"

"Me? I am nobody"

"Get your jokes better next time"

"Pfft, My name is Selene, Selene Montessori"

"Your name suits you, Selene"

"Yours too, Lu"

He then slight hit her forehead.

"Now, sleep"

"Mmhm, you too"

He watched her fall asleep and kissed her forehead. "You have no idea who I am psh this girl". He slightly brush her hair and made sure she's comfortable in her position.

"Now that I am sure of what I feel for you, I will never let you go no matter what".

Selene' POV

I woke up due to the heaviness I've felt in my stomach. I thought I was already in heaven, I am lying beside an angel! "Am I still alive? Or am I in heaven?" she pinched her cheeks checking if she's dreaming or not.

"You're awake?"

"Mmhm"

"Why are you beside me?"

"Did you forget what happened last night?"

Her eyes widened. "Something happened last night?"

Lucas chuckled, "I mean you told me to stay here and sleep with you silly".

"Oh, I-I'm sorry" she pleaded.

"That's alright, I'm also fine with it. Do you want anything?"

Right after Lucas said that, it seems like Selene feels like throwing up. She immediately goes to Lucas's bathroom and throw up.

"Are you alright?" Lucas asked.

"I feel nauseous right now, can you please do me a last favor?".

"What is it?"

"Can you bring me some apples and then a ketchup?"

"That's a weird craving you have there!"

"I just feel like eating it right now, please"

"Alright, alright wait for me here okay?"

"Okay"

Lucas immediately goes to the kitchen and finds apple and ketchup. "I don't want to tell him that I am pregnant with someone whom I don't know" she told herself. Why am I worried as to what he would think of me? Tsk, Selene behave yourself. After a few minutes, he brought what Selene craves for but after smelling it she feels like puking again so she ran to the bathroom.

Lucas POV

After the Series of puking, I have a huge hunch that Selene is pregnant with my child. I feel excited and at the same time nervous. I am afraid of her reaction if she'd knew that I was that guy from that night. I don't know how to tell her.

After Selene gets better, Lucas told her to rest and she did obey. "I have to call my brother and ask him for any advice" he mumbled.

Dialing Sam....

"What made you call me, Lu? Is there any problem?"

Lucas went outside his room and answered his brother.

"Few weeks before, I made love with someone I didn't know and I made her bear our child, what should I do?"

"Is she with you?"

"Yes, fortunately. We met unexpectedly yesterday in the park and I brought her in."

"That's my brother! Get her by crook or by hook"

"I know but how?"

"Kidnap her"

"You ain't funny dude, I won't do that, I don't want to hurt her".

"Then look for another options, I have to go, I still have to do a lot of things. Take care of that girl and my niece or else you'll be a dead meat!"

"Tsk, I will, bye".

After talking to my brother, I silently entered the room and to my surprise...... Selene were no longer in my room.

"Sh*t!" he cursed. I think he heard our conversation. I'm so doomed. I have to find her.
