They decided to adopt the main character. As time passed Miles feeling became stronger and stronger for the main character, until the main character introduced his love of life. Out of jealousy Miles tried to kill the main character's lover, who was pregnant with the main character's child. To protect the love of his life the main character has no choice but to remove Miles from his life.
