A cold, stormy night on this ship... 1876, many passengers were seasick, some dying from disease, others having a great night drinking rum and singing old songs. Though the ones dancing were only men, they had a great time. singing "America here we come! We come!" taking another sip of rum not worried about the ones who weren't there. They didn't seem to care enough. As the night went on, the ship sailed a long way, the captain ordered the men to bed. The men were unhappy, they wanted to drink and dance longer into the night. The captain told them there was always tomorrow and that they must hurry because the cold stormy waves were growing too large and soon will flood the first deck of the ship: where the men were enjoying themselves. The men sighed and cleaned up their messes and headed back to bed to find their wives asleep. The captian noticed one man left a full unopened bottle of rum out so the caption took it to the captians deck for "safekeeping" Once the captain got to the captain's deck he placed the bottle on the table next to the controls, he told himself to keep it till tomorrow but the feeling of needing to drink it was eating him alive. He walked back to the table and slowly opened the cap of the glass bottle. Just then as he was about to pour himself a glass he heard the soft, melodious, dare I say hypnotizing hum of a woman. He finds it beautifully creepy, he calls out "Whose there?!" He looks around inside the captain's deck but soon realises no one is there. "It must be one of the men's wives." He goes back to his rum and pours himself a small glass. After a few minutes he heard the hum again but this time it was.. stronger, more powerful you could say. He felt some sort of a desire to find this voice. He walked outside the deck and called out "Where are you, my love?" No answer arose. He walked to the edge of the ship, sadly looking at the water wishing he know where the voice was coming from. The voice then sang out "I'm here my love, in the water. Just in and we can be together." He was in love, completely hypnotized. He yelled, "But where are you?" "I'm here my love, waiting for you." The voice said. Without a doubt, he jumped into the crashing, cold, and stormy waves. Salty and scary. Strong and powerful. The voice sang "You fool, you shouldn't have done that" The captain was confused but couldn't talk with the salty seawater in his mouth. The voice came out of the shadows and showed herself, a siren. She sang "Time to go my jolly sailor bold~for all now we shall be together" The caption was scared, confused, but most of all betrayed. The same betrayal.
She pulled him under the water, his lungs filled with water, Drowning. His lungs were on fire, burning. Then it was black, nothing.
It was over. He drowned in the fire.
Sirens are often mistaken for evil, they swim through the waves of the sea just like the other creatures. some living in, some reaching the shore and some Hiding within the depths of the ocean, some wailing to be found, some remaining quite for thy better, but the only thing that makes Sirens different from the others is that they have a target unlike the others, they wail not to be found but to find, those who are willing to jump in the strong waves risking their lives are the one's they seek. But those are smart and remain on the deck, those who seem to have no effect of our voices on them, but we have deeper voiced sirens for that, they shall come to the waters and become one, one of us, one for us they shall come down one day, for that we shall wait, wail, shout and sing as loud as we can for that one day when all of them have been captured in our eyes, for when all of them have been sinked into the abhys of the ocean, for when our voices take control as they loose theirs, for when we hunt instead of seek.
Sitting on the shore overlooking the blue while the continuous waves brush upon her tail. the sea was looking more majestic that day, it was looking even more lonely. It was just Her and the sea. Memories are like waves, they come and hit you gently giving you shivers down your spine while the people in those memories get lost somewhere in the waves.

She was the daughter of the sea just like the others but a bit different , she had the longest hair, the most majestic tail so sharp that cuts through the water, and a golden voice which no one can resist. The water never made her overwhelmed, it was relaxing in some way, never did it reject her. It wasn't Her and the sea, it was Her and her sea.
