As a little girl, I had almost everyone adore me. I was an achiever. I had their praises and attention. I changed myself in order to please them until i just felt something inside of me snap. Then, I started rebelling, I didn't agree to what they wanted me to do, I didn't listen to what they want me to do. I changed who I was all over again just to have my happiness and my freedom back.
They didn't like who I became so they hurt me in every way they can think of. they belittled me for being selfish and acting for my own. I didn't care much as I was stronger than I was before. I don't care if they beg me to be like the person I was before. But that's not happening because that person, was the person they killed for their own expectations.
Who am I is not for them to decide for now that I've seen how cruel and manipulative they are. I would fight for myself and save me, for they had ignored me when I needed them to save me from the pain they've caused me.
I am who I am and I get to decide who I'll be.
