"ling yun...as in lofty cloud...this name is quite opposite to my life...yes , that's my name...an average looking guy , who just wanted to live a peaceful life . With the beat of drum, the trial starts...the protagonist Jun feng stares at him with disgust... obviously wanting to end his life in just few seconds.

he looks up at the person who sits there without any expression. it was his end, that's what he was certain of. But it could be a new beginning for him? well, it would never even appear in his wildest dreams that he could escape this fate.

Jun feng stands up and speaks in a cold and distant voice, " Ling Yun...you have committed many hideous crimes. Today is the day of your end..."

with a raise in his hand the protagonist give order of the villian's execution.

clouds cover the whole sky...the wind starts blowing...with a lightning and thunder the cold rain fell over his body...it cleaned the dirt covering his face, exposing the pale jade like appearance.

the person whines due to the cold water pouring over him. With a grown he opens his eyes.

"huh?", ling yun was surprised. "how? how?", like a crazy man ling yun touched his face and body to check if it was really happening or his soul is being captured by the lust demons.

"phew"

after confirmation that he was fine. he got up and took a look around.

it was the dump yard for unknown corpses. "hah...they didn't even prepared a funeral...tch tch..wait...i should be thankful that he didn't...or i would be burnt alive...but i clearly remember the pain in my chest and the stoping of my heart...then how?" , these thoughts clouded his mind completely that he couldn't sense that someone was watching him from afar.

the person in black smiles at him.

his subordinate looks a bit confused. but he didn't dared to ask the person in black. he quietly stayed behind him and observed his every move.

ling yun finally collected his thoughts and looked up and closed his eyes. the rain was still pouring on his face. Now that he was completely drenched,he started to feel calm in the rain.

just as the man in black looks back at his subordinate the lightning lighten up his face. He was none other than Jun feng...he had a smirk on his face. which was quite opposite to his usual self. the subordinate knew he stepped out of his line. he quickly kneel down to apologise, "forgive this insolent servent...i know i did wrong..."

Jun feng wasn't interested in this. it was a normal routine for him. what excited him was the person standing in the rain...

he impatiently signed the person kneeling before him to stand up and leave. that person stood up ,bowed to him and left from there.

Jun busied himself again to observe ling Yun.

unknown to the fact that someone is watching him ling yun started taking his own ragged clothes off.

Jun didn't knew what to do. he debated between whether to look or not.But it made him miss the best part.

fortunately ling yun still had his storage artifact...he took out a new pair of clothes having water repellent property. he felt at ease after wearing them. he used his internal spiritual energy to dry his own hairs.

"now that i have changed and dried myself up... let's find a place to hide", ling yun thought to himself.

Jun feng looks at him all dressed up, he smiles and wishpers,"enjoy you little trip i will get you back when we meet again." with that he left from there.

ling yun took a shelter in an inn. the people were talking about the demonic sect and how the great villian had been killed.

ling yun was sitting and hearing to their gossips...

he just went to have his tea when he heard some people talking about demonic sect so he sat down to listen. after hearing the people criticizing him, he couldn't help but think to himself , "do they really think that all the misfortune of their was due to demonic sect? pah...as I recall in the novel after the extinction of Demonic sect it took them to catch ling yun two years. so in this timeline...the five biggest righteous sect would go and take out treasures from the altar...he will go there too...so i better avoid it... anyway it got nothing to do with me''.
