The room was dark and the floor was filled with dead bodies.A cold wind blew past Leah as she was in her last moments. She the murderer's silhouette as it faded away. Memories of her past life flooded her mind as she took the last breath. She always wondered how she would die but never did she ever think that she would die in a deserted place far away from her family.

Leah was sitting on her bed as she scrolled down her phone.A message from her best friend popped on her screen."Hey, when are you coming, everyone is here except for you and Lucian."She had totally forgotten about the party at Santo's. She quickly took a bath and wore her party dress as she put on light makeup since she was already late. As she was styling her hair Lucian called.

"Hey,l'm at the parking lot, are you ready?"

"Umm just give 5 minutes l'll be done."

"You better hurry up since we're already late,"

She tied her hair in a ponytail as she left a few strands of her hair fall down.She took her purse and wore her high heels then rushed to Lucian's car. She opened the door and kissed Lucian's cheek.They drove off and began chatting as usual.

Lucian: Are you ready to have the best day of your life

Leah: Yeah,apart from our wedding

Lucian: Hold up, who talked about having a wedding

Leah: Umm, aren't we getting married.

Lucian: Don't you think you're rushing things.

Leah: What do you mean by rushing things?

Lucian: Why don't we forget about this and focus on the party first

...Leah knew how much the party meant to her best friend so she decided to calm down and not bring up the conversation again even though she didn't understand why Lucian talked as if he had plans on dumping her....

...They arrived and the party was filled with people and was well decorated.She rushed in and saw her best friend dancing. "Hey,you look great,"she said so that Alexa could notice her presence."Oh, took you long enough l even thought that you were going to ditch the party."she said as she hugged her."You know l can't miss your birthday,"she said as she looked at the man beside her."Oh,this is my date for tonight. Leah,meet Caleb."Alexa said as she held his hand.He nodded at Leah and went to fetch a drink for the ladies....

As the party was about to end,a group of kidnappers entered the vicinity and everyone who was there began running here and there.Leah hid in the closet which was in Alexa's bedroom.Soon the house was pin drop silent.Leah, thinking that they were gone,got out and as she was heading to the living room she felt an unbearable pain in his head and fell unconscious.The next time she woke up she was in a dark room, bound to a chair.She began screaming for help but no one came to her aid.Later a man entered the room and began,"Are you done screaming?I hope you now know that screaming won't get you out of this mess since you had started to annoy us."What do you want with me?Why am l the only one captured?"Leah asked with an angry face."Simply because you were our only target,"he said as he smirked.Leah thought of a way to free herself and all she could do was to distract the man as she struggled to remove the rope that bound her. When she was finally able to free herself she lunged on the man. Just then a man entered the room.He was dressed in all black and hid his face behind a mask.The man whom was struggling with Leah hit her to the ground and stood beside the man.The other kidnappers whom were outside also entered and stood beside him.

"What took you so long?"he asked.

"She was giving us a hard time,give us another chance and we'll get rid of her."

"You've run out of chance,l told you that if l came here l should find her dead already,"he said as a cold aura surrounded him.

By that time all the kidnappers were panicking.They knew that him being here was only going to land them in problem. Without any other words he retrieved a gun from his pocket and shot everyone who was there.
