"You humans shall be punished for what you have done to my daughter!"

The King of the sea raises his trident as he angrily looks down upon the humans.  As the trident was held high, thunder strikes down in every direction, the gentle wind is not gentle anymore, and the ever so calm ocean became chaotic.

The King of the sea heard screams in every direction; the screaming voice of the humans that made him angry. The humans below him were all trying to run away from him. Everything is so chaotic, the wind, the ocean, everything! Humans can only look at the King of the sea with fear in their eyes.

"Oh, Great King of the sea! Please forgive us, humans!" Kneeled the priest. The priest greatly regrets the things he has done towards the King's beloved daughter.

"Forgive? A foolish human like you dares to ask such a thing from me?! After what YOU have done to my daughter?!” The King of the sea is in so much pain after learning what the humans have done to his beloved daughter.

Humans took away his beloved daughter from him. There is no such thing as forgiving the people who have wrong his daughter. They must be punished; the humans deserve to be punished for their wrongful actions.

The priest lowered his head to the ground, still begging for forgiveness. ‘I am done for! I am done for!’ Those words kept on repeating in his head. The priest is scared, but at the same time, there was anger rooted in his heart. ‘Just because you are more powerful than us humans that doesn’t mean you are above us, me! You monsters deserve to be a slave towards us humans!’

The King of the sea can hear what the priest is saying in his mind. The King of the sea got angrier by what he had just heard. “You dare to look down upon me?!” The priest flinched and looked at the angry King of the sea.

Without waiting for the priest to speak again, the King of the sea struck the priest with lightning. With that, the priest is long gone. But the King of the sea is still not satisfied, he wants all humans to perish; one of them took away his daughter, for him, the only way to pay him back for what he had lost is for humans to be extinct.

‘My beloved Herophile. My beloved, why must you leave me?’ The King of the sea looks at the direction where he heard that sad voice.

He saw a man, the man who his daughter fell in love with. The King of the Sea started to get near the man and as he does that, everything that surrounds them is starting to get calm. But every move the King does there’s a hint of superiority that no can never dare to go against.

Once the King was in front of the man, he said, “Apollon, you are the main reason why my daughter was taken away from me. If my daughter had not met you, she wouldn’t have been taken away from me.” Every word that he is saying is filled with anger and hatred. It was all because Apollon seducing his daughter that it turned out to be this way.

Apollon looks at the father of his beloved. He heard every word that the King had said to him. ‘He is right. It’s all because of me that my beloved died.’ Apollon looks so lifeless that he couldn’t care less about his appearance right now.

“Don’t you dare call her *‘beloved’***!”* The King of the sea shouted. He hates the fact that this human being in front of him is calling his daughter ‘beloved’*. If Apollon truly loves his daughter as much as he says it is, he should have stopped the priest. But he didn’t. Apollon couldn’t even do a thing to stop his fellow humans from hurting his daughter.

Apollon kneeled before the King of the sea, “Please kill me.” He said. There is nothing left for him in this world if his beloved is not around. For him, it is better to die than to live a life where his most beloved is not around anymore; everything is meaningless without her.

The King of the sea looks at him and said, “With pleasure!” With that, the King of the sea strikes his trident towards Apollo.

[Ten centuries have passed]

[Ocean Kingdom]

“Hey! Where is big sister Celena?” A beautiful young girl asks the person next to her, who have the same face as hers, her twin brother.

“Maybe she’s in her usual spot whenever she wants to escape.”

“Really? Shall we go and see her, brother?”  She said with a mischievous smile plastered on her beautiful face.

Her brother nodded in agreement and they went on their way to see their big sister Celena.

As they get nearer towards their destination, they saw a ruined building. No matter how many times the twins visited this place, it always amazes them of how beautiful it is. No wonder their big sister Celena loves this place so much. It is such a gorgeous place to stay at, even if it is a ruin, it is still so beautiful; even their father agrees with them both.

Once the twins entered the ruin, they saw a beautiful dazzling woman sitting on a rock. She was reading a book; she looked like a goddess in the sea, her beautiful long black hair elegantly waving like the ocean wave above. Her pointy nose, her kissable red lips, her eyes shine like a gem in the sea, and her beautiful fair skin that can be easily noticed by anyone in the sea. Oh, no wonder every merman in the kingdom falls for her, she is truly a catch.

The twins slowly swam near their sister, trying to scare her, but unfortunately, Celena already knows that they are here. “If you two have nothing else to do, you should study instead. Knowledge is one of the important things in our kingdom.”

The twins were startled when Celena suddenly spoke. “Come one big sis! Why can’t you just pretend that you didn’t know that we’re here?”

“Nerida, you’re a princess, you shouldn’t be pulling these kinds of tricks. What would our people say if they found out this behavior of yours?” Celena said in a cool manner.

Nerida’s twin brother snorted, “Big sis, you’re the one to talk. You’re THE crown princess of our Ocean Kingdom and yet you are running away from your duties. Why are you here reading a book instead of doing your paper works?” Nerida put a thumbs up at her twin brother. They both got one point from saying that to their sister.

Celena frowned at her young brother. These pair of siblings sure can make her speechless whenever they refute back at her. “Hey, I’m your elder sister, how dare you talk back to me like that, Clifford?!” Celena put on a pouty face expressing that she feels upset that her young siblings are talking back at her like that.

Seeing that their big sister is acting like that, the twins sighed. Their big sister might be a cold-hearted woman in front of everyone, but she is such a softie when it comes to her family.

There are nine of them siblings, the other six siblings are currently not in the Ocean Kingdom. When they left, Celena was the one who is hurt the most. She loves her siblings to the core, she would do everything for them.

Celena is the fifth princess of the Ocean Kingdom, naturally, it should be her eldest child of the king, the first princess to have the title of the crown princess, but Celena’s oceanic powers are greater than any of her royal siblings. Because of that, she got crowned as the crown princess and the next one to the throne of the Ocean Kingdom.

Truthfully, Celena felt guilty that her elder sister didn’t get the crown, but with the understanding of her elder sister, the guilt she felt is slowly fading. The first princess the nicest of all siblings, she took care of Celena and the others like a mother would do. Ever since their mother died many years ago, her elder sister was the one who took the role of a mother.

“I’m sorry for talking back at you like that, big sis.” Clifford swam behind his sister and hugged her. “You’re leaving tomorrow, Nerida and I want to spend this whole day with you that is why we're here.”
