The black clouds were responsible for the heavy rain and thunder. The city that used to be the pride was now only dust. Blood and dead bodies were everywhere. A woman was the only survivor, but she was on her last breath.

"Looks like this is the end. I...I am going to die again. "'sigh' "I wanted to live longer this life. Where did I do the mistake? If only I had chosen something else rather than... what's the use of regretting now." She slowly closes her eyes but...

'Tap...tap'. someone came near her and watch her as she was on verge of dying. 'hum' "You really survived longer than I thought." Hearing such words she opened her eye and was shocked, "You...you are still alive."

That person, "Why are you so surprised? It's not your first time seeing me and I am not a ghost."

She, "Yes, it's not my first time. I was really a fool to believe them."

That person, "Yes, you surely were. You never know you were just a piece of chess till the end." That person sit down and patted her head. "You along with that person killed me and still I couldn't hate you since I used to enjoy a lot being on your side. So, I will surely give you a proper farewell."

"Thank you for surviving and I am sorry... Now I really can die without guilt." Tears were present in her eyes and she took her last breath.

That person stands and, "may you rest in peace and I hope you never meet me in your next life."

That person looked back toward the wall, another person was hiding behind the destroyed building.  That person smiled and reach out a hand. "Do you still want to follow me even if the journey is long with lots of challenges?". Another person, "Yes, I will."

The start of everything...

"Ouch." Serena was slowly trying to open her eye and sat on the bed massaging her back. "F**K it hurt like crazy. Did I drink too much and involved in the fight and end up in prison again? I swear Daren will get angry and kick me in the station if he knows I hit someone. By the way why it is becoming so hard to open my eye..."

"Crash", Serena heard the sound of glass breaking. She turned around and was so surprised.

"Yo...young miss, you..you are awake. I...I will call the lord." A girl teenage ran away from the luxurious room leaving confused Serena alone. "Wait.." Serena wanted to call her but the girl was already gone.

Serena looked at her small finger and was surprised. She had shrunk. She was even more surprised looking at the decoration of the room. The room was decorated in the luxurious western style. The room was so vast and bigger than the average apartment. The door looks so far from the king-sized bed. The bright light shining in front of her made the room even more shining and stunning. Everything in the room looked luxurious.

The most surprising part was the girl in the mirror. Serena saw a beautiful girl in front of her. She looked like 6 or 7 years old with eye-catching red hair and emerald eyes. Serena had never seen such hair and eyes in her life.

Inner pov: "Who the heck is she, and where the heck am I? If I remember correctly I.." Her head started to hurt so much. "Yesterday I was drinking and cursing my poor life and I saw a small and unique white animal...then...yes, I remember following it, and the truck...ouch my head starting to hurt again."

Serena was still confused and heard someone speaking.

"Dad, she looks fine to me." A teenage girl with golden hair and emerald eye in a luxurious dress covering her mouth with a fan spoke. She was looking at Serina as if she was some bug.

A tall man in his thirties was standing next to her. He was so handsome but was emitting a cold aura. He too had red hair like the girl in the mirror with emerald eyes.

He was emotionlessly looking at Serina and he turned around and said something to another man and left. The man bowed and followed him. The girl too followed the man. Serena was dumbfounded. She feel like she was a red panda in a zoo but...

Serena was so nervous and pinch herself. "Ouch it doesn't look like a dream ...I really transmigrate to this body." She looked in the mirror. "This is my new body and ..she really told me the truth... I... I. Serena started to sob and, "I ...I hit the jackpot. Ha ha ha ha"

Previous day...

Serina was drinking a lot that day because of the pressure from work. She was calling someone, "Deren, how dare you, not answer my call. Are you ignoring me? Are you not picking up my call because of that wrench case?" Serena thought, he was ignoring her because of the drug scandal of his ex-girlfriend.

'sigh' "My life is so messed up. I don't know why I am still alive... I too want to have a warm bed and warm food...I don't want to be stuck here running the errand for others.  If only I was lucky and born into a rich family. I.."

Serena was so upset with her life then...  She started to have hallucinations. She saw a strange creature. She had never seen a such animal in her whole life. That animal kinda looks like a cat but it had an antenna in its head and its mustache was longer than that of a normal animal. Its fur was also unique. More strange it had a pair of wings.

Serena unconsciously followed the animal. She was so mesmerized by its beauty that she did not know she was in the middle of the road.

'Honk'. Serina heard the sound of the horn and when she turned, she saw the big truck in front of her. She was stunned and did not know what to do.

'Crash' she was hit by the truck and she flew in the air. "What...what is happing?"

'Bang', she landed on the road. Blood started to ooze from her head. Her vision started to go blur. She can hear the sound of people calling her and shaking her.

Serena's inner pov "Please stop...my head...its hurting so much. I want to go home...I have not even started the new series of 'my beloved Elanor season 2' that has just released yesterday. I had only seen the abstract...My cake is still in the refrigerator that I saved so I could eat later." Her vision started to be more and more blur. "I have not even hit Deren for making me go to prison whenever I drink so much and curse on people...I have so much to do in life. I still have to meet my biological parent and I had not even asked why they abandon me...why, why is life so unfair". Serena was slowly closing her eyes.

Serena felt like she had fallen into the water and she was drowning. "Please, please someone save me. Please...I don't want to die."

She was drowning more and more. "Look like this is the end. Is death always like this... if only I had a second chance..."

Serena had her last breath but before she lost her breath she saw the animal watching her from distance.

Animal, 'few' taking a long breath, "it consumes so much mana to be invisible in other eyes. Master must praise my work and give me the crystal ball, if not I am going to throw tantrum. I need to go back"  A circular pattern with unique carving appears and the animal vanished in thin air.

"Ouch" Serena was awake. "F**k that driver and that strange animal. If I meet you again I am gonna kill that bastard. How dare he hit me. Wish you don't meet me if not I will drag you to hell." She was busy swearing and cursing the driver...

"You sure have a foul mouth for a pure soul." Serena heard a sweet voice. When she turned her head she saw a woman coming towards her.

The woman was dressed in a beautiful white dress. She had long silver hair and her face was covered in a vile.

"Who are you?" Serena asked her in surprise.

"Um, I. Should I tell you the truth or let you find the truth yourself?" She asked Serena who was stunned by her beauty but after hearing her word, Serena was furious "Are you kidding me I am asking you something and you are playing with words."

Serena was in anger with the driver and she was taking out her anger on the woman. "wait" She turned around and look left and right. She was somewhere in an unfamiliar place filled with only white. It's as if she was trapped in a white room.

Serena came back to her sense, "Where am I?" She looked at the woman and asked in an anxious voice.

The women look at her and said "dear you have died in your previous world and I heard your desperate calling. So I pulled your soul here to give you the second chance that you want."

Her words were like a lightning strike for Serena. "What I...died. You are not lying to me...please tell me it's a lie". Serena did not believe she died. She just thought she was in the hospital but why. She started to cry.

The woman feel pity for her and said in low voice, "I am the goddess of the world, where you are going to be reborn. I feel pity for you so, I am giving you the chance to be reborn as you want."

Serena looked at the woman with teary eyes, "Are you telling me to be reborn after I just passed away." 'sobbing' "I don't want to be reborn please send me back."

"I am sorry dear I can't send you back, but I promise, I will let you transmigrate or be reborn to the new world and give you absolute power and authority."

Serena was looking down and avoiding the women's gauge and sobbing. Inner pov 'smirk' "she really fell for it...  I can't believe it... I died but what can I do? Even if I go back, I have no one. I am poor and frustrated... I need to curry more favor from her and demand more."

Serena looked at the woman, 'sobbing' "then will you let me transmigrate, give me a rich family and let me have more power."

"Yes, I will. Do you need more?" The woman smiled. Serena shakes her head. She slowly raises her hand and chanted some words and suddenly a strange circular pattern appear and before Serena could figure it out she vanished.

"Checkmate." A husky voice was heard from behind and the smile on the woman's face disappeared.
