It's a little hard to say this, but I'll be brief.
I am dead...
From a very young age I imagined myself as one of those heroes in movies and novels, leveling up, getting stronger and finding love.
I was never good at socializing, but I had friends whom I tried to convince to read the things that marked a turning point in my beginning as a compulsive reader.
I had a loving and supportive family who supported me in everything I set my mind to, but I was lazy and left a lot of things I could have been good at.....
But that's not the point, the real reason why I'm saying this is because everything I had in the world disappeared for me, because without warning when I woke up in the morning I had another body!
Yep just as you hear it, I don't know what happened or why I was transported to another world but what I do know is that my main goal will be one of the biggest isekai clichés.
To have a peaceful life.
...
In a well-lit room with many posters of unknown characters a rather annoyed young man wakes up.
"Ahhhhgg my head, I think I need to stop staying up all night reading.".
"Well! Where did we leave off yesterday...".
"And my cell phone? I swore I left it on the table.
Hmm.. Where I could have left it now,
it always gets lost on me and it's in the most obvious place."
"Aha! I found you wretch, so you were hiding on the floor, but.... HA HA HA YOU CANNOT ESCAPE FROM ME!".
"Ah? This isn't my cell phone, and now that I take a good look.... This isn't my room!".
The room was spacious with gray walls, it had a single bed, a small table with a lamp on it and a very modern looking computer on a work desk.
-...
"Ok think..."
"No, I can't think right now."
"This is crazy!"
"The only logical explanation is Am I being held hostage?"
I felt chills just thinking about it.
"No, I'm not worth being kidnapped..."
"Besides, who would go to the trouble of leaving a nice, prepared room for someone they kidnapped."
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared at the time.
First things first, I'm going to go to the bathroom.
I got up quickly, but then I remembered something.
Oh right this isn't my room and I don't know where it is, I'll check over there.
Fortunately, the bathroom was in a door in the right corner of the room.
I walked noiselessly to the bathroom and as soon as I entered I turned on the light. And I looked at myself in the mirror, searching for some injury that would reveal if I was abducted.
"WHAAAAAAT!!!?".
"M-mm-my body..."
"This is not my body!"
I looked different, I still had the body of a 16 year old teenager, but I had a more masculine face and green colored eyes, my hair was brown, with a thinner and taller body about 6'2" smooth white skin with no imperfections and the few muscles I had increased very slightly, you could tell that the one this body didn't train much.
I touched my face and body speechless and not believing what had happened, but not so much, because when I noticed for the first time that my room had changed my mind the first thing I imagined was that I was sent to another world like in anime and light novels. Consequences of staying up until 6 am reading.
On second thought, isn't that what happened to me?
Thinking about it a couple of times, I came to the conclusion that I died and was reincarnated in another world.
I felt that something was squeezing my heart, a feeling that barely let me breathe, this was because I could no longer see my family and friends that I love so much, they would not know what happened to me.
So after that I wiped away the tears that were fighting to come out of my eyes and set out to make the best of it and be better in honor of my loved ones.
The only problem was.
"WHERE DID I REINCARN!!! And why?"
I was asking too many questions in the air that no one would answer me now.
If it was like in the fantasy novels would I have a system or something? I had nothing to lose anyway.
-So here we go System!
I waited and waited and nothing happened.
"Maybe it's another word."
"Statistics!"
Again nothing...
"That was disappointing, let's try another one."
"Stat!"
A window opened.

"This means I really am in a fantasy world..."
"Wait, taking into account that stats are measured from G to S or higher..."
"I'm a mess, I'll get out of here and train."
But then I remembered something.
Uh, right I don't know anything about this world, I think a good first step is to use that computer over there, maybe I'll find something useful.
I walked over to the computer on the desk and turned it on.
...
I had to research about what this new world was like, fortunately I had no password, which made it much easier for me to get on the internet, it was more advanced than the one I knew, something good about me was being very intuitive and understanding devices I hadn't seen just with my common sense.
I searched for world history, because I couldn't think of anything else and conveniently found what I was looking for.
I found that in the year 2045 planet earth was the victim of something known as the Genesis, as out of nowhere doors to other worlds opened in various locations and changed the structure of the atmosphere introducing mana to the planet, mutating living beings and empowering humans, as well as an individual status window that only you could see.
More dungeons were opened as time went by, which not only brought monsters, from which you could extract materials and on rare occasions a core, but also other intelligent races came to the planet such as dwarves, elves, demons and orcs. These themselves came to the planet to inhabit it and divided the planet into 5, one for each race counting the humans, not without nothing in return, as they were given a place in the alliance against the Kelim, who were intelligent and powerful beings, who by signing a contract with some race, were given power in exchange for being slowly consumed by their desires and to be under the orders of the Kelim.
After a long stage of trial and error, they managed to discover the books and runes of skills that allowed humans to defend themselves, the difference between these 2 was that the books you have to learn as a martial arts technique, with practice and study, while the runes managed to acquire a skill instantly, so they were rare to find, but although the runes and books were something useful, it was not very accessible to all, so little by little and with much effort or fulfilling specific conditions, humans could obtain unique abilities.
I also found that although the races are allied, the alliance would be only for emergencies against Kelim, nothing more, because although they join forces, each race valued strength and power, so they avoided relating with humans and were on bad terms. Although humans were weak in comparison to other species their perseverance made them advance, but not in such a good way, just as other members of the alliance did the humans by becoming strong believed themselves superior to the weak, which was adhering to human society over the years and now that the weak are discriminated and abused by the strongest is a day to day thing.
About the ranks I found that there is a big difference between one level and another every time you go up in rank your strength doubles and you get unique traits, only that most people have a limit that unless you do the impossible or use objects and artifacts you will not be able to keep growing.
About objects, they are just that objects that can be found on earth naturally or obtained in dungeons, while artifacts are pieces of equipment that are created on earth by humans or the other races, either armor or weapons that can give extra passive or active effects.
"Buuuff that was a lot to read."
"And looking at it objectively I'm weak so my life will be even more complicated."
"AAAH! Sounds like a novel written by someone fanatical about systems and becoming strong."
"Well now that I'm done researching let's get out of here."
...
I approached the door nervous about what might be behind it, I took a step forward and turned the handle, the next thing I saw were stairs heading down, my heart was going crazy and all I could think about was what was there in that space unknown to me, I steeled myself and walked down the stairs feeling every beat of my heart beat like a drum.
When I got downstairs I was surprised, there were some armchairs and tables with homey decorations and out of nowhere a woman who seemed to be in her 40's with brown hair, green eyes and quite pretty wearing a kitchen apron with a teddy bear print who was holding in her arms two small children between 1 and 2 years old, one was a boy dressed in gray and the other a girl dressed in pink clothes with white dots.
Before I could snap out of my thoughts, the woman turned around and looked at me with loving eyes.
"Good morning Tim, you woke up just in time for breakfast sleepyhead!" Said the woman.
"W-who me?" I exclaimed in thought.
"Who else, do you see anyone behind you son?"
At that moment it all made sense to me, I just reincarnated as the son of a family and I have two little brothers and a mother, but I haven't seen my new father.
"One question m-mom" I asked still not used to it.
"Yes dear?" asked my mother.
"Where is daddy?" I said.
"Well...he..."
I shivered slightly fearing the worst.
"He left again too early for the guild, that leadership job takes up all his time during the week."
"But well, what can you do..."
"How about we start breakfast, your brothers are already crying with hunger."
I felt infinitely relieved and reassured that I hadn't screwed up with my question, the father could very well be dead and that would give me away as an imposter.
I finally sat down at the table to have breakfast with my new family.
...
After I sat down at the table, my mother chatted with me about how difficult it was to deal with both young children in the evening, as they would not stop crying.
At that time I found out that my new mother's name is Martha Devon and my siblings are Eleonor and Mike.
-And how were you last night, did you sleep well? - she said.
-W-well, everything was normal," I said nervously.
-That's good, because in 1 week you will enter the alliance academy, so make the most of your time here, because you won't see us for another 6 months.... -he exclaimed sadly.
The moment he said those words, I choked on the water I was drinking and coughed violently.
WHAT!!!?!?
How am I supposed to go there if I don't know anything about magic, I don't even know what they teach in the schools here.
-Are you all right? -exclaimed my mother.
- Coff-coff -Yes, I'm fine...
Of course not, this is worse than I thought!
-Don't worry, I just choked on some water.
-That's good son, I was already worried.
Wait a second...
-Mom, I'm going to go to my room for a while, thanks for breakfast.
As soon as I got far enough away from the table, I ran to my room.
I took it as a possibility and it wasn't clear to me, but now it makes sense.
-I'm in some cliché-loving moron's novel!
But if this is how it works...
I can use it to my advantage, I know quite a bit about reincarnation novels, since they were my favorite genre.
And there are always certain patterns that repeat themselves, aren't there?
After thinking things over I managed to come up with a plan, in the time I had left I would go on a trip to look for objects that would help me improve my rank and limiter in the typical places of the novels, that is, in mountains and forests with ancient ruins.
So after deciding, I set to work and looked for a map of the nearby area and when I found it, I was stunned with the news that the only nearby mountain was more than 30 km away, the name was Fuhja mountain and it housed ruins of the ancient civilization that the monsters of the dungeons destroyed in the past.
-Ugh, that's going to be a problem, maybe I should pack.
Something I forgot to mention is that conveniently in the status window there is an inventory section, with a total space of 20 m².
There are consumable artifacts that can increase the space, but they were expensive enough that I didn't have time to look for a cost-effective one.
So I went shopping at a nearby store I saw on the map and acquired a camping tent, energy bars, lots of water bottles, a heat source and climbing gear.
I was all set.
I headed home to say goodbye to my family and rushed to the train station to grab a ticket to Fuhja Mountain and see if I could find anything useful there.
I hurriedly boarded the train and set off for the mountain.
...
The trip was quiet and quite pleasant as far as I was concerned, something important to mention was the appearance of the train, as it looked like in futuristic movies, it was white, with light blue lines on the sides and moved at an impressive speed, nothing compared to those of my previous world.
In the seats close to mine there were people except for a demon, it was very strange that they were close to humans, as they don't get along very well. The main reason was that according to some, they were very loyal to their ambitions, even so all the races that made up the alliance would have to compulsorily attend an academy, separated by species, territory, with different customs and in each one you entered at 16 and would be 4 years there, to learn the basics of fighting and magic.
It caught my attention to see that demon just for that reason, she looked like a young girl, she had two horns on her head, jet black hair, red eyes and a body that seemed carved with a chisel, if I were to describe her I would only say, beautiful.
I only saw her for a moment, but I blushed a little so I turned around and when my head was cool, I turned around, but she had disappeared.
I felt a little disappointed, but I know that it's normal in novels, that is people who disappear out of nowhere.... well that's a cliché in general and most likely it's someone important in this world. I must stay away from that kind of people. When I turned my eyes back to the window I began to sleep peacefully.
Finally the train stopped at the station.
-Aahh! How I needed to sleep.
-Well, let's look at the map.
I took the map out of my inventory and started to inspect it.
It indicated that 1 km away there was a village and on the north side of it was the mountain, so I started my journey.
...
I walked hurriedly through the village until I found the entrance to the possible solution to my problem.
Once I arrived, I walked into what looked like a small forest and could visualize further into the place some oddly shaped trees that had a brown fruit on the tip of a spiral-shaped branch.
I took the fruit and continued on my way repeating the same pattern.
"These fruits look edible, but I won't know unless I try, I'm not that far from town anyway." "Bon appetit."
I took a bite of one and the minute I did I knew it was a bad idea.
"Aaah, my stomach!
I felt like I had ingested a fireball and the pain was so excruciating that by the time it was over I was exhausted, I was sweating all over and I felt my stomach acid burning my throat, fighting to escape from inside me.
"Bad idea, VERY BAD IDEA."
"I was stupid, if fruits raised the stats everyone would eat them."
After resting and recovering from that bad experience I continued on my way.
"Trap objects, trap objects, where are they?
"Maybe I should go up the mountain or search more in the forest, in my opinion, I prefer to stay in the forest".
I was walking for quite a while, only to realize 2 hours later that I just went around in circles. Before I knew it, it started to get dark and I decided that I would camp here tonight.
Setting up the tent was very complicated for me, so much so that I got stuck with the poles on the first try, but then after a bit of effort I was ready.
"Well, let's have a bite to eat," I said, tucking myself into the tent.
...
Plam Plam Plam Plam
I woke up with a start.
"Ah, shit, I was fucking sleeping."
I jumped up with a rush of adrenaline and anger at whatever had woken me up.
"Come here you fucker."
I stormed out angrily and with a kitchen knife in hand, I'm not stupid, I set out to defend my resting place.
"Aaaaaaaaah!"
As soon as I stepped out, my heart almost stopped.
A monster almost 2 meters tall with sharp claws, black fur and a maw with teeth that could cut a person in half.
"Nope, I'm outta here."
I ran with all my might to lose the monster and seemed to have succeeded, but soon my hopes became null and void as I saw it approaching in a hurry and seemingly without tiring.
Finally after running like a deranged man trying to escape from the werewolf-like beast, I stood in front of it and decided to face it with every ounce of will I had. It attacked me with its claws as soon as it saw me.
Shuan!
But I narrowly dodged it.
"A second later and I'd be sushi."
With no time to recover, it attacked again and this time it wounded me in the shoulder, rendering my left arm completely useless.
"AAAHHGGG!" -I screamed from the pain.
With no time to lose I lunged towards him and with my knife I aimed for his right eye, missing miserably, being hit in the stomach and sent away. Crashing backwards into a tree. I felt a pain as if millions of needles were penetrating my abdomen and getting on my knees I vomited blood.
"Puack!"
"This beast is too strong for me."
"But..."
"I will not give up in this life!".
"AAAAHHHHHH!". I said as I lashed out at the beast, who was now running towards me.
As we were about to collide our attacks, I swung my arm at the last moment.
"Take this motherfucker!"
Right after I said these words, my attack hit his eye, but I wasn't the only one who managed to hit, as he slashed downward, making a big gash in my chest.
"ROAAAAR!" shouted the monster as he attacked me.
"Now that you lost part of your field of vision maybe you can win."
I said those words, but I was also badly wounded and had lost a lot of blood during the fight, so it was hard to even walk, and more so with the recent cut I received.
My legs gave way and I fell on one leg as I grabbed my knee.
The beast noticed this and seeing it as an opportunity to attack lunged at me.
"Big mistake asshole!"
The moment it jumped on me I got up with all the strength I had left and stabbed it right in the chest.
"ARGUUUUUU!" the monster screamed before falling to the ground dead.
"Ah...Ah...Ah...I, I, I, I did it."
I stood up slowly and heavily, letting out a puff of murky air.
"I need to...go back.... to the village." I said weakly.
Clutching the wound on my chest I walked a couple of steps before falling back down.
I couldn't walk, I was weak and battered, all I could do was crawl to safety.
"Where... is the... camp?"
In pursuit of the beast I wandered away from the camp and paid no attention to the road.
"...Now what do I do...?"
I thought. all my hopes were lost and I would die here, but suddenly a light came into view in the middle of the forest.
...
Vote for more.
As I crawled across the cold, wet forest floor, I was stunned by a faint light near me.
The possibility that it was a person gave me strength to head faster to where it came from, hoping to be rescued.
"Ugh, come on, move new body."
I slowly moved forward for about 15 minutes, with the light becoming more and more noticeable.
When I reached the place where it came from, I was very disappointed.
"No.., no, NO!"
"This can't be happening!"
The source of the light was a small monolith with a glowing berry on top.
"...I will die here."
Fear, frustration and anger began to take over me, I couldn't believe how little I was able to stay alive in this world.
"AAAAAAHG! NO, I CAN'T BE SO WEAK!" I shouted angrily and with all my remaining strength I punched the monolith, which caused the glowing fruit to fall near me and a stone with white symbols could be seen among the rocks scattered on the ground.
Then an idea popped into my head.
"Ahg, the fruit... could it be medicinal?"
"I lose nothing by trying, I'll die at this rate anyway" I said with difficulty.
I slowly reached out my hand towards the fruit and brought it close to my mouth.
"Here we go."
I took a bite and then another, until I had finished it.
"Munch Munch."
"I feel better-AAAAHGG"
Just when I felt like I could start to recover, I was overcome with an indescribable pain and burning in my body, I felt every muscle fiber in my body explode and burn, then regenerate and repeat the cycle.
"AAAAAAAHHGGGG!"
The pain was so strong that I finally passed out.
...
Two hours later I woke up sore and slowly got up.
"M-my wounds, they're gone!"
Glad but confused, I looked at my body and checked its condition.
"Hmm, according to the state of my clothes the fight couldn't have been a dream, so that fruit if it was medicinal."
"I'll look at my attribute window to check for any possible changes."
"Status.

"WHAT THEEEEEEE!!! How is this possible, did I just happen to find a trap item by pure chance?"
"Well, whatever it is it's great, not only did it save me from certain death, but it increased my physical stats by 1 point and broke my limiter."
After rejoicing at the effects of the item I consumed, I noticed a stone with a glowing white engraving on it.
"What is this?" I said confused.
Looking closer a small note could be seen on the remains of the monolith.
[To the one who found this remote place, an evolutionary rune, useful but somewhat annoying. Just break it in your hand to acquire it].
I was stunned by this revelation and quickly took the rune and broke it into pieces with my hand.

I couldn't believe it, I found what I was longing for and got such a broken skill just by starting.
I quickly went back to the corpse of the monster to look for its core and valuable parts like teeth skin and claws, when it was all ready I set out to find my camping tent.
"Well, if I'm not mistaken, the tent should be this way."
I looked around it was very dark and happened to identify some fruits.
"Those fruits look familiar."
"I remember! They are the same ones I ate half a day ago."
Those berries gave me a very hard time, how could I forget them. This means I am close to the area I was in.
After 1 hour of walking around and around, I found my longed-for tent.
I finally found it and it still has my stuff in it.
"It's time to go home."
I'm so happy to be back in a safe environment for my weak range and better yet, now with upgrades and useful materials.
I think it's a good time to test my new skill and for this reason I will test.
I took out the materials obtained from the beast and proceeded to test it on the creature's skins.
"Analysis!".
A window opened over the object.
\=\=\=Analysis\=\=\=
- Lycant Skin: A material used mostly for making low grade armor
And very warm rugs.
"..."
The skill was fine, but feeling someone comment on everything I analyze makes it a bit annoying, but I just ignored it.
Now let's see what happens if I just think about analyzing something, I'll try it with the claws.
Analysis!
\=\=\=Analysis\=\=\=
- Lycant claws: Sharp claws that can cut rocks very easily and are useful for creating low quality gloves.
This is great, the comments don't come out now and best of all, I can activate it with my mind, I would have looked crazy if I had to spend the day yelling at anything I wanted to analyze.
All that was left for me to do was to go back to the station.
...
It took me a total of 3 hours to get out of the thick forest that surrounded me.
Finally I will know this world in all its splendor, but first, I will go home, I want to get to know my family better and go to the academy, so maybe I will adapt more to this world.
On second thought, I should go to sell these materials for credits to the village, who knows, maybe I can buy equipment with that money.
I headed to the nearest blacksmith shop, luckily it wasn't too far, all I had to do was walk 50 meters to get there.
I opened the door and at the same time a bell rang.
"Hello, is anyone there?"
In the. place were large shelves with all kinds of low and medium quality equipment.
"Hello?"
No one answered
I don't think anyone would mind if I took a look at the equipment. I stood in front of a nice breastplate and activating Analysis, I looked at its stats.
\=\=\=Analysis\=\=\=
- Iron breastplate
- Cost: 1000 C
- Defense: +5
---
- Iron Sword
- Cost: 800 C
- Attack: 6
I was satisfied with the information, I only analyzed the cheapest and most basic, but it was what I needed now.
I headed to the counter to see if I could find the owner, but before I could find him a loud explosion sounded.
"BOOM!"
I headed to the source of the sound, only to find a stout man passed out in room with a burning table.
"Hey, hey, what happened!"
He obviously didn't respond but I still tried to put out the fire, I grabbed a rag I found lying around, waved it around and rubbed it quickly until the fire stopped
"Come on buddy, wake up!"
Seeing that he wasn't waking up, I thought I had only one option left...slap the hell out of him.
The man was slowly waking up, but unfortunately he had to suffer a barrage of slaps
Slap Slap Slap Slap Slap Slap Slap Slap
By the fifth slap the young man with black hair and brown eyes stood up suddenly and yelled at me.
"Why are you hitting me, are you crazy or what's wrong with you?" he said angrily.
"S-sorry, I heard an explosion and when I went to check I saw you lying on the ground." I said trying to look scared, as I inwardly enjoyed hitting him, because of the scare he gave me.
"Oh.."
"Ah, excuse me, you were just trying to help." he said apologetically.
"Sorry about the explosion, I was experimenting with new equipment, but a reaction unfortunately went wrong."
"My name is Hal, nice to meet you." he said raising his hand to greet me.
"The pleasure is mine, I'm Tim" I replied.
"One question."
"Are you the owner of the store" I asked.
"No, actually the store belongs to my grandfather, but since he's sick I'll take over for now." he said with a melancholy look on his face.
I looked at him sympathetically and changed the subject.
"Hal, can I call you that?"
"Yes, of course don't be embarrassed" he said with a smile.
"Well... it's just that I need to sell some materials I got in the forest near Fuhja Mountain, how much could you give me for this? "I said as I showed him the claws and skins and core of the beast I killed.
"Hmmm, let me examine them."
He proceeded to analyze the materials.
"Seeing the quality and that you have the core with you... I could give you 3000 C do you think?"
It actually seemed pretty good to me, I don't know about supply and demand in this economy, maybe I would soon learn, but it didn't seem like a bad deal.
"Sounds great to me." I said quickly
"Okay, your 3000 C, give me your phone and I'll transfer the money to your account, I'll take those items".
I almost and forgot I had a cell phone, I didn't even check to see if it was locked, but I put all my faith in it not having a password.
I took my cell phone from my bag, but unfortunately it had a password.
No way, if I didn't hand it over it would be very suspicious. A drop of cold sweat ran down my forehead as I thought about the password.
I made up my mind, if the previous Tim was stupid this password will work.
I nervously punched in the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4, hoping that would be the password.
As fate would have it, the previous Tim was indeed stupid and I guessed the password.
Breathing heavily, I handed Hal my cell phone, not noticing that the corners of his lips curved upward.
After a couple of seconds he handed it back to me, with a smile and the number 3000 on apparently a banking app.
"Well, it was a pleasure doing business with you," he said.
"Likewise, but there is also one thing I wanted to buy here, a longsword and a light iron breastplate."
"Of course, that would be 1800 in total, but seeing as you put out the fire in my living room, I'll let you have it at.... 1500 C, how's that sound?" said Hal.
"Really?! Of course I'll take it, I'll pay the 1500".
I handed him the corresponding money and proceeded to quickly fetch the items, place them in my inventory, to try them out later.
"Thank you so much!" I said excitedly walking towards the door.
"You're welcome, don't worry" Hal said waving goodbye.
Now I was ready to start school and survive any conflicts that came my way.
...
Some time after Tim left the blacksmith shop, Hal could be seen smiling and looking at the materials he got from him.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA, that silly kid, doesn't he know that beast cores are rare to come by?
I'm going to get rich selling this, maybe I'll get 10,000C.
Hope to see him again, he wasn't a bad guy, but it was his fault what happened to him, it's common knowledge how valuable the cores are."
....
I would appreciate it if you would support this novel and comment on your reviews of it.
