After her lover's betrayal, Abigail walked toward the path of doom.

Devastated and angered, she decided to break free through everything, once and for all.

"For 9 years I dedicated my life to him and all I got was this," "I hope in my next life I never fall for such an asshole again." Saying this, she walked towards a moving truck to end her life.

As the truck moved toward her, she gazed into the blinding lights of the truck and smirked. "Bye, bye Shitty life!" she shouted.

As the truck came closer to her, she saw a weird-looking girl coming towards her. "Please, help me." She said. Abigail went into a deep slumber as the mysterious girl shut her eyes with her palms.

Suddenly, Abigail heard someone calling out her name. An unfamiliar yet sweet voice. "Who, who are you?" She whispered. On the spur of the moment, Abigail woke up with a jerk as she felt ice water being poured on her.

"What the hell!" she screamed. She turned around to see who poured water on her and saw an unfamiliar woman sitting beside her.

"Thank good heavens, you finally woke up." She said.

Abigail was confused, she had no idea on was going on. She was sure that she was on some random unknown road ending her life, and now she was in some farm kind of place.

"I'm sorry, who are you and where am I?" She asked. The woman's eyes went from relieved to worried and scared. "Aby, darling what are you talking about, if this is a joke then please stop." She said.

Abigail was not understanding the situation, the woman who was calling out her name knew who she was, she even knew her sweet name but she did not know who the woman was.

The unknown woman had bright red hair and grey eyes. Abigail had no friends with such features and never met someone like her either.

"I...I don't know how I got here but I do know that you saved me." She said, "I don't recall if we have met before...I don't seem to quite recognise you."

The woman was now twice as worried as before, she seemed to be screaming inside her head, she grabbed Aby's face and shouted in her ears. "Abigail Barns I swear if you don't stop your act now I'll hit your head with a rock and make you remember everything!" She shouted.

Abigail Barns, she wondered. Her name ended with Jones, not Barns.

Although she was not a Barns, the name Abigail Barns rang a bell in her head. She seemed to have heard the name before. "Ca-can I get a mirror?" She asked.

The woman was already a bit afraid that her friend had actually lost her memories, she handed over her pocket mirror a bit hesitantly.

Abigail although a bit scared took a glimpse of her face in the mirror and the reflection that she saw shocked her. She touched her face unable to believe her own sanity. She now had light brownish-blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Her face had now become younger. She looked like she was in her twenties.

"Abigail Barns, that's my name right?" She asked. The woman nodded her head.

With this much information and looking at the location she was in, she grew a small doubt in her mind. "By any chance, is your name Amelia? Amelia Tompson?" She asked.

"No then I'm Alice in wonderland, of course, it's me silly!" The woman said.

Abigail's doubts were now all cleared. She was now absolutely aware of the situation she was stuck in. "May I ask you how I got here?" She asked in a faint voice. Before Amelia could say anything a handsome Asian man with black hair interrupted their conversation.

"Ha, look who finally decided to wake up!" He said. "Come on Yong! don't be harsh with her, for God's sake she just woke up!" Amelia said.

"Yong Choi?" Aby asked. Yong looked quite angered, his anger was written on his face. "Congratulations pig head, because of you we are late!" he yelled.

"Shut up Yong! Aby wouldn't have fainted if Y-O-U hadn't crashed the car on a tree trunk!" Amelia shouted. "Oh great so It's my fault now!" "Yes, it is your fault!" "Well guess what we wouldn't have crashed if 'SOMEBODY' had not put some random pop girlish song in full volume!" "It's not some random girlish song! it's the song from the famous pop star band forever and ever!" "You just highlighted the point!"

The two friends looked like any moment they would magically bring out pitchforks from nowhere and kill each other. They seemed like two fearsome beasts who were ready to pounce on each other at any moment.

Abigail found this very hilarious. It had been ages since she witnessed such a funny scene. Unknowingly Aby's serious face turned into a hearty laughter.

"Hey, what're you laughing at!" Yong shouted. "Isn't it obvious she's laughing at us!" Amelia said.

"Guys-guys, you two are definitely gonna make a great couple," Aby said. The two angry beasts had now become two shy cats at this comment. They had become as red as a tomato. "W-well there's nothing like that," Yong said shyly, "Anyway the car is fixed and ready to go, let's go," he said.

Suddenly the reality of the situation she was stuck in occurred in her mind. Turns out that Abigail had transmigrated into a romance game she played in her teenage days.

It was a vampire apocalypse-related game in which the female lead Eve Barns travels into a village which was abandoned by God, a place filled with blood-sucking creatures in search of her younger sister who went missing there.

Abigail Barns, Yong Choi and Amelia Tompson were a bunch of side characters whose destiny was doomed. They were destined to die! Abigail was the lost sister of Rose.

In the plot of the game, Abigail and her three friends were going on a trip to Transylvania to explore the place, somehow they get lost and reach an unknown town in Romania which was nowhere located on the map. The three of them seek shelter in a huge mansion for some reason and are brutally murdered by the second male lead of the game!

"Guys are you sure we should continue our journey?" Aby asked. She had no intention of dying again.

"What are you saying Aby? we can't back off now," Amelia said. "Yea, we've already reached someplace near Tureni, we're almost there we can't back off now!"

It seemed though that Abigail's reason to live was to die. A bit hesitant Aby stepped inside the car followed by Amelia and Yong. She could not stop them nor could she argue with them.

Even if she told them about their future tragedy they wouldn't believe her, they would just think that she lost her mind.

Abigail looked out her window and gazed into the blue for her time was ticking by...

As the car moved forward, Abigail's heart beat faster. She was well aware that she was gonna die once again and there was no way out. Although terrified, she had something most people would thrive to have, " Hope, I have hope. I will not ever let my life end like before this time. I WILL LIVE! " She said.

" Aby, darling, are you talking to yourself again? " said Amelia.

" No, why would I? " Aby said, sarcastically. She absolutely hated the idea of having annoying little kids around her and Amelia was exactly that type. 2 hours had passed on her journey and the redhead chatterbox had not shut her mouth even once. She would either be annoying Aby, not even letting her have 2 minutes of self-time or she would be arguing with Yong about crazy topics.

" Hey Aby, did you know that legend says that the face of the person you have now is actually the face of the person you loved and adored in your past life? "

The words Amelia said made Abigail go into deep thought. She remembered the time she first brought the game and played it. She didn't quite hate the character of Abigail, she actually pitied her. She thought to herself about what would happen if Abigail had not died, would the end remain the same?

" The face of the person you loved huh? " She said.

At that moment there was a bang, the car hit a tree and its engine started burning!

" Everybody out of the car! " Yong yelled and jumped out of the car.

Abigail and Amelia too wasted no time and ran out of the car. Shortly after the car exploded. Thankfully the three had stood a bit far from the car so no one ended up hurt. But they all ended up stranded in an unfamiliar area which was surrounded by trees and shrubs. On top of all that it was night!

" Shit! " Yong said.

" Oh my dam God, what the hell! " Amelia screamed.

" Yong, do you not know how to drive? we could have died! " She panicked.

" What do we do now? "

" Amelia calm down will ya! I'm freaked out here too! " Yong screamed.

" Calm down! do you have any idea what happens now? we don't even know where we are, we're stuck in the middle of nowhere! "

" Guys, there's no use of fighting now! we should try to figure a way out now or something or ask someone for help! " Aby screamed.

She was already aware that this was gonna happen. " Guys lets..." Before she could finish her sentence, she hears the footsteps of something, followed by light.

A tall man wearing a hood and holding a lantern was coming towards them.

" OMG, it's a human, we're saved! " Abigail screamed.

" Great, let's ask him for help. " Yong said overjoyed.

Abigail just stared. As the man came closer, he removed his hood and showed the lantern towards his face. He had skin as white as snow, eyes as blue as the sky, hair which resembled the golden fur of a lion and long black eyelashes. He was beautiful in every way possible.

Abigail gazed into his shining blue eyes; it was almost as if she had fallen prey to some spell. She was unable to take her eyes off him. He was too handsome to exist.

Abigail too did not understand what he just said. " I'm sorry we don't speak the language you spoke right now. " She said.

" Don't worry guys, I know a little Romanian, " Yong said.

" Its Romanian? " Amelia asked.

" No then its Korean! " He said sarcastically.

" But you said its Romanian? "

Yong just scoffed and tried to talk to the handsome man.

" Sunit proste, ceri verdel " He said.

" I didn't quite catch up on what you said but, I think you said I am dum, and that sky is green. " The handsome man said with a Romanian accent, he almost went into laughter listening to Yong.

Amelia and Abigail too started laughing. Yong's face was red in embarrassment.

" Um, hi my name is Abigail, and these are my friends Yong and Amelia. Well... our car broke down and we have nowhere to stay, could you please help us? " Said Aby.

" Of course, my house is nearby. You three can stay there tonight if you like. Follow me. " He said with a smile.

" Oh, we'd be delighted alright. " Said Amelia and walked forward.

" Thank you so much, we're so sorry for the inconvenience we caused. " Aby said.

" Of course not, helping a pretty lady in trouble is a man's duiety. " He said approaching her.

" Its duty, D-U-T-Y. " Aby said pushing him away.

" Of course, my bad. " He smiled.

Abigail was all red, her heart had skipped a lot of beats. His handsomeness was unavoidable. His eyes were like the gateway for souls to take away.

The four walked towards the handsome man's house. " Erm, I never got your name. " Aby said shyly.

" Ah, sorry, It's Lucian. Lucian Dracul," he replied.

" Lucian Dracul, what a nice name. " That was the moment she realized it all. The person she was with right now was none other than the male lead of the whole dam game. She didn't recognize him at that moment but after hearing his name... She knew her doom was near.

Lucian Dracul, the male lead of the game. He was not taking them to help them but to sacrifice the three to his twin brother Caliban Dracul. SHE WAS DOOMED! everything was going according to the game's storyline, THERE WAS NO ESCAPE!

" We're here! " He said pointing his lantern towards a huge antique mansion.

Abigail looked towards the pointed direction in fear. She was not looking at the mansion but at her grave!

" Wow dude, your house is huge! " Yong said.

" It's not much, hope you'll enjoy your stay. " Lucian said with a soft smile.

While others saw a good handsome-looking man who offered to help them, Abigail saw an evil devil with a murderous smile.

" Please come in. " He said, " Make yourselves at home. "

Aby swallowed her saliva. The three of them entered his house. It was all dark.

" I'm sorry there was a power cut in our house, so the lights won't come any soon, " "Please wait here I'll bring lanterns for you guys. " Saying this Lucian went to bring the lanterns. "

" Wow he's such a great guy, he's letting us stay at his house. " Yong said.

" Yea, and he's handsome too! " Said Amelia.

" Yea sure, he looks alright. " Yong scoffed.

" He looks a hundred times better than you 'prost' " she joked.

" What'd you just say? " Yong said angrily.

" Guys we should get out of here. " Abigail said. Her hands were shivering thinking about what was going to happen in the future. Her body was all cold.

" What are you talking about Aby? why do you wanna get out of here? " Yong asked.

" Yea, why? " Amelia asked.

"Well, the thing is..." Abigail's sentence was stopped by the incoming footsteps and light.

" I've got the lanterns! " Lucian yelled.

Yong and Amelia took the lanterns and followed Lucian; Abigail stayed back.

"What's wrong Amelia? follow me I'll show you to your room. " Lucian said with a smile. Although a bit hesitant, she still followed him.

Lucian showed Amelia and Yong to their rooms and now it was Abigail's turn. As they walked in the hall, Abigail's heartbeat rose higher and higher, not in love but FEAR. She was so scared that she didn't even realize her room had come.

" You're going to be sleeping here tonight, Miss Abigail. " He said with a smile.

Abigail nodded. Lucian came closer to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. He bent his head towards her ears and whispered in his attractive manly voice.

" Have a good night, hope you see beautiful dreams. " He said.

Abigail's heartbeat rose a hundred times higher than before. His voice was too attractive. Her face was so red that people would think someone painted her face with paint. That voice was too much for her to handle.

Lucian kissed Aby's cheek and went out of the room. Aby kneeled on the ground; it was too much for her to handle.

" Ah man, I know he is the reason I'm gonna die but he is too handsome! " She said.

Abigail jumped onto the bed and laid on her stomach. She turned over a few times. The fact that she was going to die again kept haunting her mind, on top of that Lucian's kiss on the cheek was also disturbing her mind.

" Oh God, seriously what have I done wrong to you? " She said.

" If I remember correctly, Lucian is human and the male lead and his twin brother Caliban is a blood drinking monster and the villain. So Lucian loved his brother very much and used to help him all the time, he would bring strangers who lost their way to his house and feed them to Lucian, but how does he do that? Anyway, I'm the first to die so I guess this doesn't matter. " As Abigail was recovering her memory of the game from her past life, she hears someone talking outside. Curious Aby decides to listen to the conversation.

She slowly opened the door and found no one, but to her surprise the voice was still audible. In her curiosity she decided to follow the voice. After walking a little distance, she found herself in the basement.

As she walked further in the basement the voice stopped. She was quite surprised but as she thought of going back, she felt something hard hit her head. Before she could see the persons face, she lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

A few moments later she opened her eyes listening to a conversion. One of the voices felt quite familiar, it was Lucians. The other voice was a bit more deeper and a bit scary, she for sure knew that it was Caliban. As she peeped a bit at them she saw a man with long hair which was as black as a crow's, his eyes as red as blood, his face as white as snow, his long eyelashes as black as burnt coal. He was the total opposite of his brother but somehow, he didn't seem evil.

Abigail's heartbeat was faster than ever as she saw him, she didn't understand why but she couldn't help but blush.

" Your dinners ready, have it quick before it wakes. " Said Lucian.

This freaked Aby out. She was aware that this scene would come but she didn't expect it to come this quick. She knew that it was either do or die. She quickly got up and without turning around made a run, leaving the two brothers in shock.

" Hmm, she's quite an interesting woman isn't she. " Lucian said smiling.

" You knew she was awake, didn't you? " Said Caliban with a neutral face.

" My my, who knows, I do wonder though, I didn't expect her to run this fast..." Lucian smiled.

" She didn't fall for your charms spell, brother. " Caliban said.

"That's why she's interesting, don't you think so too. " Lucian said. Soon his smile faded, and he walked out of the basement, but his eyes were not blue, it was red.

Suddenly there were hundreds of bats surrounding him and he disappeared into thin air.

" Oh shit, I can't believe I got myself into such a stupid mess! " Aby screamed.

" I know the whole fricking story! I don't understand why I still went with him though! " She said.

Aby was breathing really hard. She had come out of the mansion and had no idea where she was. She was running along the woods without looking back. She wanted to save her life. Suddenly she remembered her two friends were still in the mansion, Amelia and Yong. Remembering them she tripped on a  rock and fell.

" Shit! " She screamed. She had started to bleed.

Suddenly she heard footsteps. " Abigail, where are you? come out come out, I promise I wont bite. " It was Lucian.

" Oh God, he followed me. " Abigail muttered.

Aby tried to get up and run but she had injured her legs quite badly. She was bleeding very badly.

" Aby dear, I know you are here. Your blood smells amazing. " He said with a smile.

" Shit this pervert smelled my blood! " Aby said.

" Wait how did he smell my blood? he's not a vampire, it was even said in the storyline. " As Aby was thinking about this, Lucian suddenly jumped in front of her and covered her with his black cape and carried her. " Found you. " He said with a smile.

In a few seconds, Aby and Lucian were transported back to the basement. Aby was in Lucian's arms. " Put me down, you bastard! " She yelled.

" As you wish. " He said and dropped her down.

'thud' she fell on the floor. " Ouch, my back. " She screamed.

" How dare you-you jerk, stupid, idiot, rascal! " She yelled.

" Oh my, darling those are some words to say to the person who just saved your life. " Lucian said with an evil grin.

" You did not save me! the only reason you got me and my friends to the mansion is to feed us to your blood-sucking brother! " She shouted.

Suddenly she felt someone grab her neck from behind. " Dam, you're so noisy. Shut your dam mouth. " He said. It was Caliban. " Shut your dam mouth, will ya? "

Aby was choking, she was not able to take proper breaths. " Le-let me g-go! " She tried to say.

" Come on Cali, don't be so harsh on her. Let the poor kid go. " Lucian said.

Caliban let her down. " Cough-cough, you guys are monsters! " She screamed.

" Awh thank you, we prefer the term 'Vampire' though. " He said with a smile.

Aby was absolutely disgusted by his smile now, She wished that he'd drop dead.

" deci, ce facem cu ea acum? ( so, what do we do with her now? ) " Caliban said.

" Nu știu, ar trebui să o punem sub vraja somnului și să-i bem sângele? ( I don't know, should we just put her under a sleep spell and drink her blood? ) " Lucian said.

" Ea pare un pic special, deși, vreau să spun că ai pus-o sub vraja somn înainte, dar ea a reușit să se ridice. ( She seems a bit special though, I mean you put her under your sleep spell before but she managed to get up. ) " Caliban said.

" Adevărat, e păcat că trebuie să moară. ( True, it's a shame she has to die. ) " Lucian said.

Aby stared at the two awkwardly, she wasn't able to understand even a single word they were saying.

" Can't you two speak in English? if you're cursing me, curse me in a language I know! " She shouted.

" Is she dum? " Caliban asked.

Aby's face became red in anger as he said this.

" If you are going to kill me then just go ahead with it! I don't wish to live anyway! " Aby shouted. She was not thinking at that time.

Lucian and Caliban looked at each other. After staring at each other for a while Lucian turned towards Abigail with a smile. " Good news Aby dear, we are not going to kill you. " He said.

" Huh? " Aby was confused.

" We figured that you are the first person who was able to break through my attraction and sleep spell with no effort. " He said.

" Wait, you put me under a spell? Ah, that explains why I came with you to your mansion! " She said.

" Anyway from today on you are our bride. " He said with a smile.

" Bride?! " She shouted.

" Even if heaven and earth become one I won't marry you, you fool! " She screamed.

" Can she do anything other than scream? " Caliban said.

Lucian smiled. " Well don't worry we absolutely despise you too, except your blood is a bit too precious and thus we can't afford to lose you. So from today on you are our blood bride! " He was smiling all the way when he said this.

Aby was a bit shocked, " Blood bride?! " She said.

Suddenly Caliban grabbed Aby and bent his head towards her neck.

" What ar-are y-you do-oing! you pervert! " She screamed.

Caliban sniffed her neck, he opened his mouth and inserted his sharp fangs in her neck. Aby moaned in pain as his teeth inserted deeper into her skin.

" P-p-please do-dont... " Saying this Aby fainted.

" Oh dear, it seems she's quite weak indeed. " Lucian said.

" We need to nourish her. " He continued.

Caliban took his fangs out and held Aby's body. " I can't believe we're doing this. " He said.

" Think about it brother, it's better this way. We can dispose of her later on anyway. " Lucian said with an evil grin on his face.

" I don't know, the bride thing seems weird though. " Caliban said.

" We can't help it. She is the lady of the prophecy after all. " Lucian said.

" She is the chosen one who will defeat the dark creatures and bring peace to humankind. Keeping her with us will only bring us profit, after all, we can rule over the vampires with her help. " he continued.

" ea arata ca un om normal, deși. ( she looks like a normal human though. ) " Caliban said.

" Oamenii normali nu pot trece printr-o vraja vampiri, frate. ( Normal humans can't break through a vampire's spell, brother. ) " Lucian said with a smile.

" She truly is something. " He said with a smile.
