CHAPTER 01
At the train station stood two young teenagers facing their biggest crisis yet. They loved each other, but their families were against their relationship, especially the taller teen's family were appalled by the idea to have the eldest son of the family be attracted to another boy. It was a tragic situation and the younger of the two wanted to escape. It only took one train to the big city to leave this small town and live their own truths.
Gun
You don't really want this, do you?
Gun
Your silence says it all, we aren't meant to be..
Gun sobs, trying to hold his tears back. All the promises Off made, all of them were lies. Gun couldn't believe how blind he was.
Off
It's not that easy, Gun..I can't just go..
Gun
I don't want to either! But I would for our future, for us I would!
Off
Let's think about this again, please…there has to be another way…
Off
I can't leave my family behind...they need me…
Gun started crying, not being able to hold back his tears anymore. It felt like his heart was being ripped out, he truly believed that they would have been getting on a train right now with the biggest smiles. It seemed to have been an unrealistic dream.
Gun
Farewell, Off… I hope you become happy..
With these last words, Gun took a train and didn't look back once. Off on the other couldn't believe what just happened. The love of his life..gone. He blamed his father, and yet he was the most frustrated with himself. The responsibility of his family was on his shoulders, as much as he wanted to go with Gun.
These sweet words that caused Off to tear up, watching the person his words were dedicated to, just go. His heart couldn't take the train departing, so he just turned around, forcing himself to not run after the train. It was for the best. He prayed that Gun would find love again, happiness and success. The one that he would always love.
Years went by, both following their own paths. Gun became a celebrity, pursing a career in acting. Not a single movie or series Off had missed, he on the other hand married the woman his family chose for him. It wasn't a happy marriage, but he had become a father to a young son. He himself had become a businessman, his company being major investment company he had built over the years.
And as fate meant to be, they are destined to meet again...
CHAPTER 02
CEO Shin
Have you yet called him? We have to take measures, Manager Park. You can't shield him from this.
Manager Park
Mister Shin...do we have to take it that far? This is a malicious rumor that we can clear up with time..
CEO Shin
That's the plan, but we need Gun to lay low, and he's not the type to do so! So, hurry! Call him over, I'll be talking with him.
Shortly after Manager Park called over Gun, an artist she's been managing since his debut but also a close friend over time, he arrived at the company building and directly went to the CEO office. She's been having his back all this time, so knowing what's going to happen next breaks her heart.
Gun
You have been calling for me, what's up?
Manager Park
You might want to sit down for this...
An awkward silence followed, Gun had no idea about what's been happening all over the internet and TV stations. He didn't check, he didn't have the time. He was busy partying it up with his celebrity friends!
CEO Shin
Let me be direct with you, you'll be put on hiatus for the time being. No activites will be added to your schedule and everything was that was planned has been cancelled or delayed without a set date.
Gun
Hold on, what's happening right now!?
Manager Park
Have you checked your phone today?
Manager Park
Or yesterday?

Gun checked his phone as Manager Park and CEO Shin watched him in silence. It didn't take long for Gun to figure out why he was called to the office.
Gun
You do know that's this is not true?
Gun
Yes! I have never taken drugs, I don't do drugs. Yes, I love being clubs and having fun but I never went that far! This is clearly people being malicious and jealous, trying to ruin my reputation!
CEO Shin
You have started ruining your own reputation the minute you started mingling with that crowd. I do believe that you never took drugs, but the public doesn't care and now there are a bunch of clips and photos of you in dozens of parties being drunk and dancing with complete strangers!
Gun
But that's not illegal, I didn't do anything wrong!
A big sigh and a hug followed, Manager Park comforted Gun who was on the verge of tears. Gun had never been in a situation like this, he had always been scandal-free. Yes, he was a little party mouse, but there was nothing wrong that, well…until now.
Manager Park
You have to trust me, Gun.. We will clear this situation up for you, but it's best for now to lay low. We figured you would struggle to do that in such a big city with all your friends, so…
Gun looked up as Manager Park distanced herself a bit, after hugging him.
Manager Park
We recommend you going home.
Manager Park
Back to your hometown. You haven't haven't been there since being a trainee. It's been years...
Gun
You know exactly why I haven't gone back there!
CEO Shin
Maybe it's time to face that situation. I don't know what happened but this is for the best.
Manager Park
Yeah...honestly, I have been worried about you for a minute, Gun. You have become alot wilder recently, it's gotten worse. Maybe you need some time for yourself? Maybe handle the situation that's been always on your mind?
Gun
I don't even think about that anymore! I just like having fun, what's wrong with that?
Manager Park
Are you having actually fun?
Silence..Gun couldn't respond. He doesn't know what to say, how to respond.
Defeated, Gun sighed and just nodded as they explained to him that he should be going as soon as possible. He was worried, and scared.
Gun
I'll be on my way packing my clothes..
CEO Shin
We'll call you once this situation is handled.
Manager Park
Don't worry too much! And the next time we see eachother, you better be refreshed!
Gun went out and felt like he needed to scream, he was frustrated. Back home? That town wasn't his home, it's hell. The biggest scar on his heart was caused in that town, how could he just go back? But he did miss his mother, he hasn't seen her for so long. She did visit him a couple of times after debuting, but it wasn't enough.
Manager Park
Will he be alright?
CEO Shin
He has to be. I have called the PR Department, we'll figure something out.
Manager Park
I hope you're right..
CHAPTER 03
[BREAKING] GUN ATTHAPHAN, THE NATION'S SWEETHEART, MIGHT NOT BE AS SWEET? BEHIND THE IMAGE!
"The actor Gun Atthaphan has been celebrated by the public since his debut, with all his projects being successful. Critics and Fans alike celebrated the talent for his amazing acting skills, but it seems like he's acting skills are truly remarkable! The actor has been seen in several clubs throughout the years, one could always spot him at a party. But there seems to be more! An insider has revealed that the actor has been caught taking illegal drugs at these clubs, in the VIP rooms. This might explain the photos of the actor being so out of it, it didn't seem like alcohol anymore. We'll continue to report further updates about this case! What exactly is going on with the sweetheart of the nation?"
Off was scrolling through his phone when his eyes landed on the morning news, the lover of his past across all pages. He couldn't believe what he was reading, it was absurd.
Off has always made sure to update himself on Gun, it started when Gun debuted. Off watched all of Gun's movies, series and even purchased merch. He was pretty much a fan. It started with that, and with time he himself became successful with his investment company. He then started investing in the movie industry, making sure to support Gun's movies behind the scenes without anyone knowing.
Being in doubt of these news, Off made a quick phonecall.
Off
Finally you picked up, what's going on with Gun?
Off
What do you mean, again?? Explain the situation.
CEO Shin
There's not much to say, really..
CEO Shin
Well, he's currently packing and going back to your town.
Off
Hold on...it's not true, is it? He didn't take anything?
CEO Shin
No, we are currently dealing with the situation. He's going back to lay low for a bit.
CEO Shin
You get to see him again in years?
Off
I don't know how to feel, my situation is...messy.
CEO Shin
Well, anything is better than when you used to be teenagers right?
Off and Shin became friends through business. Off's investments in Gun's projects eventually lead to them linking up and building a friendship. As time went by, Shin found out about these two and what had happened.
