Shadow Queen
Episode 1
350 over years ago, there was a warrior who trained thousands of men and women to war in hopes of bringing the east region together.
Everyone thought that she was just a woman who dreams big. But she was more than that
Her name was Isla Crowine. Born as the daughter of a soldier and nurse in a remote village. She lived a regular life just like everyone. Till one day her village was attacked by a kingdom. Sadly both her parents died and she managed to be alive after going outskirt of the village.
Since then all she wanted was revenge for her parents. She traveled around the east region and slowly climbed. She created a mercenary group taking kingdom after kingdom
She finally took her revenge and took the people who killed her parents down. However, slowly her dreams became bigger.
She decided bring the eastern region together. One by one her dream was coming to light. Until she got pregnant ,which belonged to her past lover who died in battle, and put it all to a halt.
Soon she gave birth to a baby boy. But trouble came as the remaining kingdom, the strongest out of all, came to her borders. She gave her baby to her maiden to raise to be the king as she heads off to war with a heavy heart. With one last kiss as a farewell, she heads to the borders.
The battle went on for two days. She went out to the battle field and fought. After a few days, she won and made her way storming through the kingdom. But even after she killed the king, on her way back she stumbled on a trap set by the kingdom with her wounds and injuries, she could not survive and died.
Her commander at that time brought her body back and held a funeral for her. Now that the east region are one he stepped up as the king till her son was old enough and he gave the title back. Throughout his reign, he named the kingdom “The ISLE Kingdom”

(my father said with pride and dignity of a king. To me that story never gets old. My name is Irena Barrox. I take on my mother’s last name until i turn 18 which is in two years. Today my brother is getting enthroned as crown prince as its his 20th birthday.)

(Prince Eliza Crowine is his name, and though he is not the oldest, my eldest brother turned down the title to be a teacher. I think it was a great choice of occupation and he fits it perfectly. He always had a soft side to him that I like compared to my second brother. He is weak and loves attention. He does not have many followers in court but what choice do they have.)
Dane
I have another great announcement to make today on this joyous occasion. My daughter. Our lovely Princess
Irena
(as I walk up to him, I looked at my mother who smiled at me. My thoughts were what have they got up their sleeves without informing me.)

My daughter has proven herself worthy of the Crowine family name

During her voyage she managed to capture the pirates lurking our waters. Now that she has returned with success the court and I have decided to reward her with a title
Irena
(I looked at my second brother who looks annoyed that all the attention is now on me)
Dane
Royal Princess Irena Crowine. From this day on you will hold our family name and be granted the title Duchess Erol and lead the Dragon army
The sounds of gasp and whispers follows his statement
Episode 2
Irena
(The next day news on my title spread the kingdom like wildfire. Everyone was talking about how i went from saving the kingdom to leading a forgotten army.)

(Obviously this led to my second brother rubbing it in my face)

Why the long face Ren?
Eliza
Hey come on can’t be that bad
Irena
(I punched him in the nut)
Jakob
Enough the two of you
Irena
Jakob look at Eli bullying me again
Eliza
Oh come on brother u know the face that she makes when we tease her is cute

If only she did not train to fight
Irena
(My father called us in. I am guessing he found our little quarrel amusing)

The dragon army has been apart of our kingdoms history. The commander who fought beside our Queen Mother build it up from the army they had left

From there it was split to the palace guards and dragon army. He was given the title Duke of Erol and he insisted to guarding our borders. It is still up till this day. And..

(before he could continue i cut him)

I am grateful but i find it tiring to lead an army
Jakob
Oh come on Ren. You’ve been the best warrior anyone has ever seen in our family since Queen Mother Isla
Irena
(That is something I have to agree with but I prefer spending time traveling and reading)
Jakob
No harm in trying Ren

Great the commander will be meeting you tomorrow and today you can go see your residence because it is a bit old and rusty
Irena
I get my own residence?
Irena
(My heart soared. Being out of the castle is amazing. I quickly agreed and went to get ready to see my new house)
