Dawn's Pov

As I'm at work serving a customer everyone in the rooms phones go off all at the same time from this everyone gets alarmed and stares intently at their phones that included me.

"Emergency! To all civilians plz go to your homes and stay isolated this is an immediate lock down everyone should report to their homes immediately! I repeat report to your homes immediately! We revise all civilians to buy supplies as this is an emergency lock down".

Complete silence filled the room and all you could here was the sound of the ticking clock. In a rush everyone rushes to the register and starts throwing all their money at the lady and rushes to leave the restaurant. I run to the my bosses room and knock I hear a "come in" from the inside. I go in and see my boss rushing to gather his things.

Boss: "Dawn what is it you need you should be getting home and getting your sister" he said rushingly putting on his coat.

Dawn: "I came for my check early so I can buy supplies." I said calmly but you c oh I'd tell I am freaking out by the look in my eyes I need to get my sister.

Boss: "Here"he suddenly goes to the picture behind his desk and moves it aside instead of giving me my check he hands me $10,000 in cash and placed it in my hands. But then he goes into his phone and opens a banking app and sends me another $10,000 through it, I realized it was my holiday pay.

Boss: "Go to the others and tell them to hurry and come get their pay and their holiday pay and head on home." He said already rushing me out of the room.

Dawn: "Thx you sir!" I said somewhat happily but now I need to go get my sister."

I rush into the girls changing room strip off my work clothes and throw mine back on I then grab my purse put my money inside and grab my phone, I started calling my sister as I speed walked to the front door I said out loud.

Dawn: "Everyone go to the bosses office to collect your early pay and your holiday pay do it now!" I said waving good bye to others as they said thx you and rushed to get their things and their money.

I quickly rushed to my car as soon as I did I hear a yelling voice.

Rise: "SISTER WAIT!" She said running full speed down the street.

Dawn: "RISE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I yell getting out of the car to meet her.

She slammed into me breathing heavily from the running she looked so tired and scared I hugged her tightly.

Rise: "I-I ran out o-of school to come see you after I saw the emergency alarm on my phone. So I came here to meet you so you don't have to drive all the way to my school and we can just go straight home." She said panting but with a small smile at her stupidness for running all the way here.

Dawn: "You big dummy you should have answered my calls so I could have meet you half way here. But to late now get in the car we're going home." I said unlocking the car and getting in.

Rise: "Kk sis" she got into the passenger seat and buckled up closing her eyes in relief that she's safe with me.

As I start the car and started driving I can see some people screaming and running bumping into others. At this point I'm glad I have a car. As we get into the busy roads you can hear lots of honking and arguing going on, I just stay in the lane that goes right to our house luckily for us we live on the somewhat outskirts of town, year there are still houses but there are also lots of big farms and what not and it's much more quiet over there, it only takes 20 minutes from there to here. As the light turns from red to green people start zooming to their homes in their cars as I take my time but not to slowly just enough so there are no accidents after 30 minutes we make it home 30 minutes only because people were being reckless on the roads and there was a lot of traffic.

This is there house, and Dawn owns it and has already payed the all the money so she doesn't have to anymore and when she dies it will either go to her sister or to her children depending on if she has any😏 but the garage looks bigger then it looks in the picture and present that on the side of the house that you CAN see has a giant square fence which will soon be used for animals.

I slowed my car down as we enter the driveway, as soon as my car is a few inches away from the Garage door it opens automatically and I drive in parking the car and getting out with my sister.

The garage door closes after we walked out of it and locked automatically. We walked to the front door I took out my keys and opened it. After we got into the house everything was much calmer then it was before.

Dawn: "Alright we're home now you can rest and take a shower, do as you plz I'm going to go see if there's any news what do you want for dinner? You want me to cook or order?" I said from the top of the stairs.

Rise: "Mmm...cool plz!" She Saïd excitedly as she loves my cooking and she as if she hasn't had it every day.

Dawn: "Alright I'll be upstairs I'll cook in an hour"

Rise: "Kk" she said walking up the stairs and into her room.

I huff in tiredness and walk into my room.

I decided to hop in the shower then go onto my laptop and start online shopping. I stop my clothes off and get into the steaming shower. As I stood there taking in the heat I started wondering what the lock down was for and started getting worried, what if it was some sort of virus or something bad was going to happen. I didn't realize I stayed in the shower for more then two hours as I thought this so I hoped out and got dressed then went downstairs and started cooking.

After setting up the table I called Rise down.

Dawn: "Rise dinner is ready!" I said sitting down and pouring some Pineapple soda into Rise's glass and wine into mine.

Rise: "Coming Sis!" She said a second later came running down the stairs looking like a hungry homeless person.

Dawn: "Slow down or you'll fall next time and break your neck being stupid you here me missy." I said with a serious look looking at her right in the eyes.

Rise: "Hehe yes MOM" she said bending her fingers in a joking way.

I laugh at her silliness

Dawn: "Alright enough now shut up and eat." I said and started stuffing my face.

Rise: "Thx you for the amazing skill for cooking that my sister has otherwise we would only be eating take out." She said with her hands closed happy that I can cook amazingly, after that she started eating.
