Chapter one: 00076

Tokyo City, Year 2389

A mad scientist came up with a splendid idea to create a robot that resembles a human. He wanted to be a God to take over the world but in order to do so he needed to destroy it. The government has requested this highly expertise to create a product that was one-of-a-kind. One that won't be easily defeated, one that will reign hell upon earth. Modern technology has now been advanced, the world population at ten billion; space ships, space hotels, and flying cars have now been invented yet this mad scientist wanted more.

"Atlas! I can become a God!" He exclaimed.

He rummaged through his old creations, failed experiments that went wrong or some that cause destruction but it was never enough for him. He only agreed to do this 00076 project for the government so he can run his illegal business and, in return not being charged for all his crime if he came up with a good product for the military.

"I seem to have everything only thing missing is some synthetic skin. The ingredients are missing...hmm, what are they again?" He muttered to himself.

"Right some collagen, gelatin, and synthetic polymers will do," he finished.

He took up his wallet before leaving his haven, the underground cave where he worked. He wasn't so sure why the government wanted a human robot when they already had robots to their comfort whether for cleaning, shopping, or even run a daycare. Nevertheless, it was a wonderous moment for him; gathering all that he needed. He struggled to bring back the materials underground to his work office. After a few minutes he made it home and begun his experiment.

"Let's begin my little creation. Make father proud," he grinned evilly.

He spent hours upon hours, weeks after weeks, months after months and then a year passed when 00076 was created. Without much sleep, and running on coffee and pills to stay awake he had now finished the protocol. He did what no one could and was proud of it.

"My first human-like robot who'll reign destruction, assassination upon this God forsaken world." He injected tranquilizer into the brain of 00076. Its eyes snapped open before turning on its attack stance mode.

"My, my you're so beautiful 00076, father is proud of you, my creation, my saviour," the mad scientist said.

The robot seemed not to understand what he was saying until its function started to deactivate before it entered darkness once more.

"You did a great job to create this weapon, 00076. For your good job, we'll provide all resources to make more of these but in quicker time. This junk took quite a while to finish time to test it out," the minister of weapon spoke.

The mad scientist grinned from ear to ear as his plan was to activate 00076 to destroy everyone here but decided against it when he thought of getting the free resources to make many more to destroy the nation.

Eleven years passed by when things were progressing rapidly and now many other like 00076 were built better and faster. 00076 continued to work on the battlefield, killing, bombing and assassinating bringing the nation to near crisis.  Soon 00076 systems failed beyond repair, so they scrapped its body from all the important working factors and discard it into the big wasteland where all broken and useless machines went.

The mad scientist continue to create more robots but was sad when he had to give up his first ‘humanoid’ robot. Time passed by when he forgot about it as other things was on his mind.

Shinjuku City, Year 2400

"Luscious, don't go outside it's not safe out there you know the bots will be here to collect the rents soon," his mom yelled.

Luscious was a curious boy who was interested in the bots, his eighteenth birthday was today and he went out to look for old scraps at the wasteland to finish his pet robot, Shiny, who needed new parts to function properly.

"Mom, I'll be back soon don't worry I'll stay out of the danger zone," which was in fact a lie.

The waste land was a dangerous zone that you'd get even penalties for entering and removing stuff without authorities knowing. Some security bots usually work in that area stopping trespassers from entering. However that didn't stop Luscious from entering, after all he was a smart boy that came up with many tactics to distract the bots. He hacked the system of many small bots and used them for his own purpose.

"Alright time to hack into Mr. Cookie to distract these idiots," he cackled.

The mini bot then came to life and Luscious put the bot on attack mode as he sneaked through the broken fence with his skating board. The waste land was big but he knew where to go because of his many trips there.

"So Shiny needs some new legs, batteries, and other things," he whispered to himself.

"Time to get to work," he set the timer for 30 minutes then began his search.

At his usual spot he didn't find anything for Shiny so he went to a different spot where he found some gold coated mini legs for Shiny. He alarm went off signaling that it was time for him to leave. Before leaving something caught his attention, moving the rubbish he found a head. He took a step back and fell into the metals causing a loud crashing sound. His heart began to beat fast as it'll alert the bots that someone was there from the loud noise.

"Shit, shit, shit, if I get caught not only will the bots charge me but mom is gonna kill me. He quickly went back near the head and hid as loud footsteps trampled the metals. Face to face he noticed that it was a robot, the skin was peeled to show the machine underneath. That was unusual, he hasn't seen anything like it before. He took up the head and gave it a closer inspection before realizing that it resembled a girl.

"I wonder what you're doing all the way out here," he whispered. He opened his back pack and placed her head inside.

His mini bot Mr. Cookie was offline so he went with his next best option to hack into a old nano-bot in the wasteland that he had recently learned to control.

"Please buy me some time old nano-bot," he said as he hacked into the main system.

It came alive and the security bots attention was turned to it, he used that chance to escape with his skating board as his heart sank that Mr. Cookie was no longer with him.
