The rain is pouring like it never rained for centuries. People all over the city are in a dilemma thinking about the flood that has blocked all the roads of the city x. People are desperate as it has been a week, and the rain is not ending at all. This has made people not able to leave the house. The Goods are transported by helicopter. Because of the great development in electronics, there are no problems with light and other e-stuff. But the condition of this town is special because here the great rain like the ocean pouring from the sky has broken the dam. Which has been there in the east of the city for decades.

The management of the dam is in the hand of MD. Who has another center all over the cities? Because of their negligence, with the dangerous rain, is also the reason for the broken dam. The news about the dam breaking is on every news channel. Right now, in an apartment of Ada an employer the light of all the room is lit up. It's very late at night. She was glancing outside the window for quite a long. She is an unmarried woman of age twenty-five. Ada didn't find any suitors. It is all thanks to her dear stepparents. They are crazy about taking care of her elder sister Jenny. They assume that Jenny shall be married beforehand of her, and they revoked all the marriage arrangement that has come to the door.

Ada never thought about getting married. Throughout her childhood, till now she only wanted to live a leisurely life. She is a young and beautiful lady. The straight black hair tightly into a ponytail made her look only twenty years added to her slim body.  Right now, Ada slowly mumbled "Here again the rain. Is the water God angry with me? The weather is such a pain, and this catastrophe has to happen just now. It spoiled all my hard work."

She is angry despite her deliberation of letting Jenny take the proposal. It's like the puppy giving her precious doll to her elder sister unwillingly. After all, it is her hard work. Its not easy to see your work presented before everyone as someone else's. The company has promoted Jenny instead of her. They knew everything about the matter. Every work is done by her meticulously and with great effort for past four months. And her sister without doing anything just stole it and presented it before others with proud expressions. At that moment she was sent here instead of someone from marketing department to have a talk. Certainly, they all have a scheme beforehand. Along with this rain, she was late. What a pity. She sneered coldly. How fair this company is to neglect such a big crime? She really wants to file a complaint but the trouble that would come afterwards would be truly a burden.

Sighing heavily, she mumbled again "Now the time has come. No need to wait anymore. You want to use me till there is no hope within me. I'm tired of playing. I want to go far away." Saying this she went to the kitchen and grabbed the alcohol and drank it little by little thinking about her life.

Looking around the room she thought, the flat is perfect for her alone. She is a financially secure woman. She just with a change her company and even without doing any job for decades, can lead a very good life. Because apart from working in that company for office hours, several times she had has overtime. She has enough money now. But to her money isn't very important, maybe because she have it for now. Now everything that she is missing, is a home.

She poured another drink. The sound is crispy clear. Life is full of trouble. Especially in today's era. All the people have to work hard like hungry animals. Due to weather conditions, they have to wait sometimes like now but soon everything will resume again. Ada worked as an intern, then assistant, then COO, and at last again managing director, then again as just regular office worker. Her promotion was up and down. Never had a stable post. She has very high qualifications. With hard work, she got a chance to study at A grade university. She completed her finance, different language, and business from this college with A grades.

She could have joined a higher company in the country, but she has to pay back her dept. The dept of giving her nourishment, a dress, and a house. The family where she lived is not her real family. The DNA test is conducted in all different hospitals along with her skin problem checkup. It was proved same in every medical. Now with scientific proof, nothing seems to be wronged this way. Now she can accept why she was treated differently from her sister. She does not have any bond with them.

This is the 39th time that jenny had stolen her work. Doing things like this she now becomes the office worker. The dept is completed. Everything is in there right place. Finishing her drink at 11 PM, she went to her bedroom and jump into a peaceful sleep.

On the other side, in the Miriam family, Jenny is so happy. Along with her, both parents are also happy.

Jenny said, "It would have felt so good to see that *****'s ugly head but a pity that she wasn't there today. She must be thinking about how I got her proposal. She is a total blockhead. Now I'm the manager and have all power to rule over her. Let's see if she can survive my anger."

On opposite to her looking this Jenny who was blooming with happiness till yesterday, now has the look which can even frighten a ghost. She wanted to flaunt her achievements in front of the public. Because this happened countless times, people started to take note of her every time. They would talk about her and if someone said one bad word there would be fight. Of course, only men would do this. They compared Ada and Jenny. Naturally, Jenny is favored more. To people she, Ada, is no one if Jenny is there. She was described as an idiot and fool with no talent. But it doesn't matter much to her.

Jenny with a nutshell brain can never be compared to Ada. Her looks also cannot be compared to Ada's. She is no doubt a beauty but in front of Ada, she is half beauty and half pretense. For now, Jenny is comforted by her mother. "It is okay baby. No need to frustrate over this little break. The rain will stop by tomorrow morning. Everything will be according to your wish. Just have some patience."

The next day, In Ada's apartment, everything is so serene. The flat is calm and silent. After a good sleep, Ada unwillingly dragged herself out of that heavenly bed. She glances at the weather. The rain has stopped. The weather is good. With excellent drainage, the water over the city has been drained into the underground canal. Which is not opened before because the violent weather may cause the system within it damage. She turned on the music.

Freshening herself. She wore white jeans and a lavender long t-shirt leaving her usual office attire. She ate her breakfast. Today she is going to resign because the environment of the 'STAR' company does not suit her. Before only her work was stolen under her gaze. Maybe in the future, this issue can reiterate. If they wanted to do this kind of work. Then they can but without involving her. She is too lazy to tackle this scheme of others.

Getting ready she locked the door and calmly walk out. People outside are talking about the weather and their daily losses. Ada greeted people she knew. Ada smiled and said, ''Manager is understanding. Thank you very much. I have very much to learn from everyone here. It is my unfortunate fate that I cannot stay here any longer. I'm very thankful to you.''

Brian's face twitched a few times to cover his ugly façade. He is the one who is grateful to her work. For their small company to have her for so long is a fortune. He for now just wants to send her away so he can freely grief about it, but he can't because he knows Ada is not saying these words on purpose but as her last greeting. He calmed down a lot thinking this before speaking some good, sugar-coated words. After that Ada left his office, she didn't went back to her seat for work as she usually does. Instead she started to pack up her things. Everyone was dumbfounded seeing this. They never thought that without protesting she would just resign like this.

But thinking of her personality they can imagine, how hard it is for her to take action against her sister, whom she has let off countless times. She must have been very disappointed. Understanding her like this they greeted her farewell with positivity. Ada also greeted them with genuine blessings.

At this time her sister Jenny came with a haughty look. She didn't think of her packing too much and said, ''Ah!! Sister where are you going? There is a party to celebrate my progress this time. You have to arrive on time. Father and Mother will be there. They're waiting for you. It has been a month since you visited last time."

I have paid for everything by letting you have my work. Now the dept is clear." She looked still same as before in Jenny's eyes and said, "You maybe will not believe me. I have contacted all the medical in this city and every report I received was that I do not have the blood of my parents whom I have cherished. How do you expect me to call them parents again?"

Jenny got surprised. She thought that she can now bully Ada even more. This way she can use Ada as a punching bag. But now she is going and knows the truth. However, is this not better? This way she does not have to guard her father's property against Ada. This is the other reason why she hated and feared that Emily can take away her father's property. But it is really unnecessary. To Ada her family property is nothing but a pie which has to control by someone.

Jenny laughed crazily, ''Finally, you know your place. Still don't think that you have freed yourself. You will always be bound with our name. My Miriam family's name would haunt you like nightmares. No matter where you go things will never change."

The surrounding people got shocked. So, this is the reason Jenny treated Emily so viciously. Her cruelty toward Adda frightened people. Ada has her disposition still intact. She said," Miss Jenny is thinking too much."

She is too lazy to put her words, "The repayment is completed. Nothing is to worry about me. Miss Jenny was so merciful and provided me with food cloth and shelter till I'm sixteen years old. You have stolen my work 39th times. It is worth more than a villa full of all necessities. I think it is enough, isn't it?"

The profits that Ada provided to her and Miriams are something they would never have in a decade. Is this the end of today? Of course not. How could Jenny let her go so easily?
