Worth My Time.

PROLOGUE.

" I'll get home later tonight, okay? "

Those were the last words that came out of his father's mouth. He was abandoned. Alone. Every day he went to school, all he did was study, and study, and study. Hoping that he could atleast change his life in the slightest. Never giving up on his dreams.

" How will someone like you be successful? "

Noone believed in him, but one person did, and that was his one and only friend, SangHwan. Nobody understood how someone like SangHwan got along with someone like him.

" You're just simply a loser without anyone to care for you. "

No. They're wrong ... He had SangHwan, right? Of course he did. SangHwan always supported his dreams, his goals in life, everything. He cherished SangHwan. SangHwan was the only person who acted like this to him

" SangHwan ... S-SangHwan ..? "

He looked at the dead body presented in front of him. Tears slowly flowed from his eyes as the three taller boys who had murdered his only friend laughed. All he could do was cry and mourn the death of his friend. SangHwan's lifeless body was covered in his tears, the three boys had already left out of boredom.

" Why .. Why did they take you away from me ..? "

He didn't understand. Why couldn't someone just let him be happy? He gripped the shirt of SangHwan's, and cried even more. And more. And more. SangHwan was his only supporter. His goal. His friend. His everything. SangHwan was everything to him.

" I hate this world. "

He realized the world was unfair. God was unfair. Everything was unfair. Rain poured down on him as he dragged his friends lifeless body to bury it. His eyes were heavy from the crying. He bit his bottom lip until it bled, keeping himself from crying even more.

**DIG.

DIG.

DIG.

DIG.

" I'm sorry, SangHwan. May you rest in peace**. "

He buried SangHwan with the feeling of regret washing through his veins. He gripped the dirt underneath him and started to cry even more, hitting the grave he buried for his friend.

" That's funny. "

He chuckled, wiping the tears from his face. He stood up and walked back to his house. He didn't have to worry about getting scolded at for being dirty. No one took care of him, anyways. He had to take care of himself. Like a parent.

KNOCK.

KNOCK.

KNOCK.

" You're not worth my time. "

He already knew who was at the other side of the door. Luckily, he already kept his door locked, and his door was made of metal. The guy couldn't get in through easily. Although, it would be fun to teach those mere children a lesson, he thought.

He opened the door and smiled at the three older, taller kids who had killed his friend.

" Still crying because your friend died? Why don't you go with him then?! "

The presumed leader of the group was about to punch him, but he swiftly blocked the attack. Everyone underestimated him. Only SangHwan ever saw him like this. Only him. The older kid bit his lip, trying his best to try and punch him. He punched the older kid in the stomach, making the boy fall on to the sidewalk. The other two looked at him in horror before running away.

" Exactly. Not worth my time. "

He smiled to himself before closing the door and locking it. The blood on his hands were a sign of satisfaction. He chuckled lightly.

***When time passes by, so do people.

He was numb to the feeling of sadness.

Getting older, and older. He just kept getting even number.

Another cup of coffee consumed by him.

A sudden earthquake happened that startled everyone in the building. He looked outside to see large insects and monsters surround them. He widened his eyes at the scenery, sighing.

" I guess taking the world is also something he does. "
