ONE Night In LONDON

Episode 1

Disya Fanesya was a vision of loveliness, her tresses taking on a hint of gold in the light, her face framed with allure and graced with a stunning physique. Disya, whose beauty commanded widespread desire, was an object of much yearning.

Despite men often gazing at her with ferocious appetite, Disya was no easy conquest.

Celebrating her graduation from a prestigious university, Disya and several friends decided to commemorate their accomplishment with a trip to London.

London or what is known as the city of 'The smoke'.

Eagerly, Disya and her five friends arrived to explore the stunning city, aiming to take in sights such as the London Eye, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Camden Town, Piccadilly Circus, Madame Tussauds London, ZSL London Zoo, the British Library, and many more throughout their stay.

Disya was the sole heir of Frans Handoko and Diana Handoko, bestowed with a singular child, a daughter as beautiful as she was kind.

"Sya, look over there," whispered Dina, nodding at a corner table in the bar they had entered. "That man has been watching you."

Disya's gaze followed Dina's indication, and indeed, when Disya looked that way, the man smiled at her.

"See, he's smiling," remarked Vivi, another of Disya's companions.

Among them were three women and two men, namely Dina's and Vivi's partners. All were from the same cohort at the university – a romantic 'two birds, one stone' vacation. Disya was the only one without a partner.

While Dina and Vivi had brought their significant others because they shared the same faculty, thereby combining leisure with romance, Disya alone had no such attachments.

"Oh, come on, call him over," Disya chided as the man approached their table, prompting laughter from her two friends.

"Oh Sya, a hot foreign model like that, it's a shame for you," said Vivi, flashing a gleeful smile as the man, who was handsome and tall with a neatly-trimmed beard, drew closer.

"Why the fuss about a foreigner?" Disya asked, casting a skeptical glance at Vivi.

"It's just that foreigners tend to be... well-endowed," Dina retorted.

"Watch it!" exclaimed Jino, Dina's partner, playfully admonishing her blunt remark.

The table erupted into giggles, Vivi laughing at Dina's comment and Disya's shocked expression.

"Damn you, Din," Disya said, fixing Dina with an annoyed stare.

Unperturbed, her friend continued laughing.

"Hey pretty lady," the foreigner greeted Disya, flashing his best smile.

"Oh, hi sir," Disya replied, mustering a slight upward curve of her lips.

"Do you want to dance with me?"

He invited Disya to join him on the dance floor, where revelers moved rhythmically, letting music dissolve their stress.

"Go on, Sya, do it. After all, you're turning out to be our mosquito repellent," Vivi said, a sentiment echoed by Dina's nod.

"But I—"

"Just think of it as a gift to me, surely you want to make your friend happy on her birthday," Dina implored, putting on a pleaful expression.

The foreigner stood in silence, not grasping their conversation.

"If Disya doesn't want to, she shouldn't be forced, dear," Jino intervened, feeling pity for Disya.

"But it's my birthday party, and I'm asking you, Sya," Dina countered.

"But dear Disya doesn't—"

"Stop...!" Disya's voice silenced Jino and Dina's argument.

"Okay, I'll do it, consider it a birthday gift for my friend," Disya said, smiling at Dina.

"Ohhh, that's so sweet."

They shared a brief hug before Disya turned back to the patiently waiting man.

"All right, sir, just for tonight."

His smile stretched wide upon hearing Disya's assent.

Leading the way, Disya followed the man whose name she did not know to the dance floor.

"Look at her, at first she resisted, but now she's the life of the party," observed Vivi, watching Disya dance energetically with the bar's festive crowd.

The four friends joined in, descending to the dance floor to accompany Disya.

Elsewhere, but under the same roof, a man sat with a pile of documents spread before him.

Waiting for the man seated opposite him, he anticipated a signature on the papers presented.

Adam Malik Adhitama, tall and strikingly handsome with a chiseled jawline, attracted the attention of countless women – so many, in fact, that he found himself unable to choose from among them.

He'd come to London to secure a deal with the owner of the city's largest enterprise, and Adam, known for his relentless business acumen and distaste for failure, proposed a partnership with Mr. Chaiton.

"Well, it's a profitable partnership," declared Mr. Chaiton, affixing his signature to the document Adam offered.

Adam smirked in satisfaction, knowing that this deal would enhance the Adhitama Group's standing in England's bustling capital.

"Thank you, Mr. Chaiton," Adam said, shaking hands with the middle-aged man.

Nathan Adhitama, Adam's father, would undoubtedly beam with pride upon hearing this news.

As a waiter served drinks to both men, a pair of scantily-clad women with striking makeup approached them.

Catching sight of the women, Adam swiftly raised his hand to leave.

Mr. Chiton laughed. "You don't fancy women, Mr. Adhitama?"

"It's not that, it's just our culture back home isn't as liberated as here," Adam clarified.

Undeterred, Mr. Chiton nodded, familiar with the cultural differences. "Feel free to drink if you wish."

"Of course," Adam replied, casually sipping the beverage, confident of his tolerance for alcohol – up to five glasses if need be.

"Ugh, my head," Disya muttered, staggering through the hotel corridor after a night of dancing and drinks.

Her resistance to alcohol low, she had nonetheless indulged in two glasses. Now, heavily inebriated, her vision blurred, she clung to the walls to stay upright.

"Room 290," she slurred, misreading the room number through her haze, and inadvertently entered the wrong room.

"Ah, unlocked," she giggled, and without a second thought, she pushed the door open and stumbled in.

Shocked, a man fresh from the shower witnessed a beautiful woman collapse onto his bed.

He gulped hard, his body already flushed from heat, now scorching from the sight of the gorgeous intruder dressed in a skimpy tank top and short denim shorts, revealing her smooth legs.

Adam had been cooling off in the shower to quench an inexplicable warmth within him when, forgetting to lock his door, he had tempted fate. And now, under the drug's influence, all he could think of was to satiate his desire for the woman sprawled on his bed.

One night in London set to bind their futures in unforeseen ways.

And thus, the author weaves yet another narrative, offspring of Ayana Malika Ifana and Nathan Adhitama.

The fourth chapter, following the lineage of "My Beloved Maid," tales of the elder Adhitamas.

Episode 2

"Arrgh.."

Adam collapsed onto a woman he didn't recognize at all, but he knew that the woman now limp beneath him came from his own country. This was because in her intoxicated state she had slurred the word delicious, convincing Adam she was a countrywoman.

After fulfilling his desires several times, Adam lay there, spent.

Even under the influence of the drugs, Adam was conscious that he had taken something precious from a woman. A woman whose background he knew nothing about.

Exhausted from making love multiple times, Adam chose to sleep, holding the woman who had already fallen into slumber.

"You are mine," Adam whispered before closing his eyes.

In the night that was probably disastrous for a woman named Disya Fanesya, she unwittingly surrendered something valuable to a man she didn't know.

Disya looked at the man still sleeping, his back turned to her. Though she was curious, Disya didn't want to see the face of the man that would only remind her of the dark events of the night, and chose to remain silent, enduring an immense pain internally.

"Even though I have no regrets, my life after this night is bound to change," Disya whispered quietly and left the room that held such bad memories.

The room, which was the wrong one for her to enter, made Disya realize she was at fault here. So it was only natural the man couldn't resist her in her drunken state.

At 11 in the morning, Disya entered her own room, hiding her discomfort in walking. She must appear normal to her friends; she can't divulge what she has been through.

Disya opened the door of hotel room 260, the correct room number.

But heavy drinking made her misread the numbers.

Entering, she looked around the quiet surroundings, seemingly empty.

"Huh, maybe they're out," she said, feeling relieved.

Don't ask why Disya doesn't cry over losing her virginity so abruptly. She believes nothing gets resolved, nor does it ever get better with crying, because something lost and irretrievable won't return just because it's mourned.

Yes, she's sad, but Disya tries to accept the calamity that has befallen her, as everyone inevitably experiences sorrow after a disaster.

Disya immediately stepped into the bathroom. Now a woman in full measure, all she could do was accept a life that would transform her.

Even if casual relationships are common knowledge here, the eastern traditions of her home country still prevail in everyday life.

Though everyone has their own life and rights, it's sometimes the noisy netizens of 62+ that stir and disrupt society.

What else could she do? Disya could only pray she wouldn't get pregnant.

"Shh, how big was he to have caused me such pain," Disya murmured as she cleaned the sore and bruised sensitive area.

Soaking in the bathtub and trying to relax her aching body, Disya attempted to remember how she and the man, whose face or even name she didn't know, united. And she preferred not to know.

"Huh, why has my fate turned so unfortunate?" Disya recalled her mother always advising against the wrong social circle.

"But I didn't hang out with the wrong crowd; I just entered the wrong room," she told herself.

In a luxurious room, a man was stretching his stiff muscles. Adam rubbed his face roughly as full consciousness returned. It was nearly noon, and he had just woken up. His sleep had been deep, his body feeling fresher than ever.

Throwing off the blankets, Adam realized something; he looked at his uncovered lower half. And when he tossed the blankets aside, he saw dried red stains on the white sheets.

Adam quickly got out of bed, grabbed a towel he'd thrown aside, opened the bathroom door and searched for the woman who had satisfied him the night before.

"Damn! She's gone," Adam cursed as he stuck his head out the door, looking left and right to no avail. He didn't know who the woman was.

"Damn, she took my virginity," Adam muttered, temporarily forgetting it was he who had first pounced on the powerless woman in his bed.

Adam clearly remembered her face, not just that but the sweetness of her lips and, in particular, the pleasure of her body, which he knew he'd never forget.

Thinking of this, arousal stirred in him again.

"Hey, you've got no shame; without a partner, I refuse to play solo. It's unsatisfying," Adam grumbled at his own body for its rebellion.

Adam quickly went into the bathroom; at 2 pm, his flight would take off, and he would return to his country and resume his activities.

Adam didn't intend to look for the woman here. He was certain he'd find her again in Jakarta. Yes, he was very sure of that.

Episode 3

"Sya, Disya..!"

Dina and Vivi were searching for their friend Disya in the room, but she was nowhere to be found. Since last night, Dina and Vivi had been alone, but due to their situation not being much different from Disya's, they hadn't realized their friend hadn't returned to the room, only noticing her absence this morning after waking up.

"Where could Disya be?" asked a worried Vivi.

"How should I know? I've been with you since morning," Dina responded, biting her fingernails in worry and panic.

They had also gone out earlier to look for Disya, thinking perhaps the girl had mistakenly entered another room, drunk as she was.

But their friend was not to be found.

Drt...Drt...

The sound of a vibrating phone made them both reach for their own, exchanging glances when they realized it wasn't either of theirs.

Tracing the sound, they spotted a phone that had just lit up—it was Disya's, plugged into the charger.

"This is her phone, could it be?" Dina and Vivi's eyes both turned to one door in particular—the bathroom.

They took a deep breath, "She must be sleeping in there." Dina sprawled languidly on the bed, while Vivi walked toward the bathroom door, certain that Disya was inside.

Vivi peeked her head in and, sure enough, there was Disya, asleep in the bathtub.

"The princess's habit of sleeping in water," Vivi shook her head.

Disya's habit of dozing off in the bathtub when exhausted never changed, and now, her fatigue consumed both her body and soul.

Who would have thought that her vacation would lead to actions beyond her imagination?

Meanwhile, at Heathrow Airport, Adam was just boarding a flight back to his homeland. Sitting in his seat, Adam retrieved something from the pocket of his heavy clothing.

A pearl earring—he'd found it on the hotel bed before leaving, and Adam was certain it belonged to the woman he'd spent a passionate night with.

"Such a beautiful earring," Adam mused with a faint smile.

Slipping the earring back into his pocket, Adam sent a message to Arfin, his childhood friend, assistant, and business partner. Although only a few months his senior, as they were born in the same year, Arfin had over time become more like family, admired by Adam for pursuing his own talents rather than relying on his parents' growing resort business.

"London is a place I will never forget."

Having had her fill of sleep, Disya finally emerged from the bathroom wrapped in a bathrobe.

Her hunger was clear by her wide-open eyes; she hadn't eaten since morning, having overslept in a stranger's room.

"Hey, sleeping beauty's awake," Vivi said from her spot on the sofa, her gaze on the girl who had just stepped out from the bathroom.

"I'm starving, Vi," Disya stated bluntly.

"The Dugong's prepared, Dina should be here any moment with food, she went out with Jino to buy some."

Disya simply nodded, moving towards her suitcase for a change of clothing.

"Sya, where did you sleep last night?"

Vivi's query stalled Disya's hand, which had been about to unzip her suitcase.

"We didn't know you didn't come home last night, only realized this morning," Vivi continued, causing Disya's heartbeat to quicken.

She wasn't sure what to say.

"I slept in—"

"Food's here!"

Suddenly, Dina's voice called from outside, arms laden with food, saving Disya from having to answer.

"Ah, Sya, you're up?" Dina asked, half-joking.

Disya rolled her eyes lazily, "As if you don't know Disya," Vivi responded for her.

Dina just shrugged, placing the food where Vivi sat.

"Wait, let me change," Disya said, re-entering the bathroom to change her clothes.

"Why go all the way in for that; isn't it unusual?" Dina wondered, watching Disya disappear into the bathroom.

"Probably got her period," replied Vivi nonchalantly.

Dina simply let out an "Oh."

Inside the bathroom\, Disya applied concealer to hide the *kiss marks* on her neck and visible chest.

"It'd be a disaster if they saw this." After applying the concealer on the visible areas of her chest, she was thankful she had a top that covered her shoulders, which also bore many marks left by Adam.

"I look like I've been mauled," Disya sighed as she finished concealing the traces Adam had left.

"I can't imagine what he's like in bed with a wife or a partner," she mused while tidying her things. "But wait, is that man single or married?" she thought again.

"No more worrying about it," Disya quickly exited the bathroom; her stomach was demanding to be filled.

"Finally, I can eat," Disya joined her friends, taking her seat between them, causing Dina and Vivi to shift to give her space.

"I'm so hungry," she declared, devouring the food placed before her without ceremony. Her friends could only shake their heads.

"You're such a glutton, but I don't get how you keep getting sexier," Dina said, baffled by Disya's indiscriminate eating habits.

"I'm insecure around you, Sya. I want to eat more but fear gaining weight."

Hahahaha

Both laughed at Vivi's comment. Among the three, Vivi was the most conscious about food and her weight. She used to be a bit bigger, but she had worked hard to slim down to her current ideal weight, and as she said, "Gaining weight is easy, losing it is hard."

"It's fine Vi, Kiki's head over heels for you anyway," Disya teased.

Vivi just pouted; Disya was right because Kiki had always been there for her.

"Oh, speaking of which, I found a job opportunity at the biggest company in town, you guys know who owns it, right?" Vivi's smile was meaningful.

"Don't tell me it's owned by the guy I'm thinking of?" Dina looked earnestly at Vivi.

"Yep," Vivi nodded. "They're opening positions for five people at the head office and branches—three at the main and two in the branches, and their management teams match our degrees. So, are you in?" Vivi gazed at her two friends, who seemed contemplative.

But five seconds later, they looked at each other and smiled in unison.

"We fight together again, to achieve success together."

They high-fived. They had previously strived together in college, attaining high grades, and now they would strive towards success again.

What successes they would find, none could tell, but they each had their paths to follow.
