"Bastard! You're embarrassing me! What fun?!" Jianyu shouted angrily. Qingyuan grinned. "This is a fun punishment for you. Aren't you very fond of doing it to your mistresses? Slice every inch of their bodies and bandage the wounds and then apologize to them?" Qingyuan sneered.

"You really are interesting. If I can live or I am reborn. Then I will chase you and make you mine!" Jianyu said happily. "Not even in your dreams will happen." Qingyuan said coldly before in an imperceptible speed Jianyu's neck was severed from his body.

"I used too much force." said Qingyuan start feeling dizzy and about to collapse. The door opened before Qingyuan fell. Someone held his body. Qingyuan stared with hazy eyes.

"A Ying? Is that you?" Qingyuan asked not seeing clearly. "You can't use your martial arts if you forget!" angry Lanying annoyed. Qingyuan smiled sweetly before spitting out fresh blood.

Lanying panicked and picked up Qingyuan to take him to the physician. Qingyuan gripped Lanying's clothes. "There is no point." Qingyuan said smiling. "Lanying, if there is rebirth then I don't want to see you again. I don't want us to end up like this again." Qingyuan said as his eyes started to close.

"Bullshit! You're going to live so stop saying stupid things." Lanying said annoyed. Qingyuan's hand touched Lanying's right cheek. "Live well even without me." Qingyuan said before his eyes closed and his hands drooped.

°DREAM MODE OFF°

Qingyuan woke up from his nightmare. His body was covered in cold sweat pouring out. Qingyuan woke up and didn't feel like sleeping anymore. Qingyuan got up from his bed and looked at Haoran who was still asleep before picking up his jacket and coming out. Qingyuan ran on the sports field until 6am before returning to his and Haoran's room.

Qingyuan went to take a shower and ate the breakfast he bought on the way back to their room. Haoran woke up at that time. "You're neat." muttered Haoran. "You're not going to a meeting in your clothes are you?" asked Haoran surprised.

"For God's sake, you're going to an office meeting so dress more formally." haoran grumbled. "Noisy, go take a shower. You stink." Said Qingyuan so Haoran go take a bath.

Haoran sighed but complied. Haoran took the clothes and went to take a shower. By the time Haoran finished, Qingyuan was already concentrating on his tablet. "News?" asked Haoran. "No, Bingwen told me that the model he chose will come to meet me at the university today during lunch time, Minzhe will bring him along..." Qingyuan explained.

"Are you sure? You know you can do it yourself. After all, you're also a model." said Haoran unsure of this. "Bingwen wouldn't introduce someone bad. Don't worry, we'll just have a first look anyway." said Qingyuan before taking his eyes off his tablet and looking at Haoran.

"Who is this guy in front of me? So handsome. Can I have your number, handsome?" Qingyuan teased smiling. "Tch, you scumbag." said Haoran annoyed. Qingyuan laughed happily. "Eat your breakfast, then off we go." Qingyuan said getting up from his seat. Qingyuan put his laptop, tablet and some files in his bag.

"You're going straight to university after work?" asked Haoran surprised to see Qingyuan carrying a briefcase he had just tidied up as well as a backpack filled with school supplies. "Of course, why should I go back to the dorm?" Qingyuan asked confused. Haoran stared at Qingyuan in disbelief. 'No wonder he wears clothes like that.' thought Haoran understood.

The two of them then went together to Light Technology together. Occasionally Bingwen teased them as a long-married couple. Qingyuan seemed indifferent to the temptation.

---Light Technology---

The office atmosphere is quite lively with employees coming to work. "Director, good morning." said the female employees to Haoran. "Morning." Haoran said kindly. The female employees look happy.

@CEO's office

Qingyuan looked at his friend who was also the director of Finance Department, Zhou Huizhong smiled. "You've come?" Qingyuan asked smiling. "You've been CEO for quite a while and no one knows. They only consider you a friend of Haoran. Are you comfortable with that?" Huizhong asked seriously.

"I don't care. As long as my company can continue to grow. Other people know it's me or not doesn't matter." Qingyuan said indifferently. Qingyuan and Haoran were already sitting on the sofa.

"That's because of all the fuss and announcements. You leave it to my department. You lazy bastard!" grumbled Xiao Haoyu who went inside. Qingyuan smiled sweetly.

"Therefore, without you I can't live, my sweet Haoyu." Qingyuan teased happily. "Tch, lazy." Haoyu grumbled. Xiao Haoyu is the Director of Marketing Department.

"Is that stalker still bothering you?" Haoyu asked annoyed. "Every day, let it be. I just need to hold on for another year or half a year." Qingyuan said indifferently. "Are you sure you're okay?" Huizhong asked, starting to worry. Qingyuan nodded.

"Qingyuan will be fine." Bingwen said coming in. Luo Bingwen, Director of HR & Administration looked at Qingyuan seriously. "I told you to look at him first." Qingyuan said indifferently.

"I had a really hard time finding it for you. I'll beat you up if you refuse." Bingwen grumbled irritably. "You want to argue with me all the time or do you want a meeting?" Qingyuan asked seriously. "Let's begin." Bingwen said sullenly.

The meeting went well and Qingyuan decided to head back first. Bingwen, Haoran, Haoyu and Huizhong went to their respective departments to assign tasks to their employees.

On the way home, Qingyuan met Lin Minzhe, a 3D artist working under Lu Haoran. "Come turn in your assignment?" Qingyuan asked. "Yes, CEO Zhang. CEO Zhang, I guarantee that person can bring you benefits so accept him." Haoran said before leaving. Qingyuan was startled before continuing on his way.

"Lanying, if you want to be a model at Light Technology. You just tell me, I guarantee you will get it easily without auditioning at all." said Su Haitao seriously. Su Haitao, Lanying's father is also the CEO of Blossom Entertainment.

Qingyuan was busy with his chores. Qingyuan had finished his lunch and was using the cafeteria table as a place to do his work. "CEO Zhang, I brought the model as Director Luo requested." Minzhe said. "Sit down, you go get your food too Minzhe." Qingyuan said still busy with his task.

"Hello, my name is Su Lanying. Nice to meet you, CEO Zhang." Lanying said seriously. Qingyuan stopped his writing hand and immediately looked at the faces of the people in front of him.

'Cursed fate.' Qingyuan grumbled irritably.

"Sit down" Qingyuan said flatly. Qingyuan tidied up all of his schoolwork. Lanying sat down awkwardly. After Qingyuan finished cleaning it up. Qingyuan looked at Lanying seriously. "Why do you want to be our company's model?" Qingyuan asked.

Minzhe arrived carrying his food as well as Lanying. "Eat first." Minzhe said to Lanying. "Thank you." Lanying said sincerely while accepting it. "I heard this project is pretty good so I accepted it." Clearly Lanying. "Only that?" Qingyuan asked. Lanying frowned in confusion and nodded finally.

"In that case, You didn't pass the audition for this project. Minzhe, Tell Director Luo that I don't accept him." Qingyuan said took his two bags and immediately left in a hurry. Lanying seemed shocked by Qingyuan's attitude. 'Does he hate me that much?' Lanying thought sadly.

Someone brought his food. "I saw A Yuan here earlier. Where did he go?" The man asked Minzhe. "What are you looking for?" Minzhe asked irritated. "Of course make him my boyfriend. So he doesn't have to work part time anymore. I already told him, he just needs to be my boyfriend." The man grumbled angrily.

"But he doesn't like you so stay away from him." Minzhe said annoyed. "He certainly likes me only himself shy embarrassed." said the man proudly. "Never mind, you won't understand. I'm leaving." The man said leaving. "Tch, just like CEO Zhang doesn't have any money. Bastard!" Minzhe said annoyed.

"Who's he?" Lanying asked confused. "Li Jianyu, the stalker who's always bothering CEO Zhang. You saw CEO Zhang rushing away right? That avoided him, he really likes to harass CEO Zhang. CEO Zhang used to act with Director Lu as a boyfriend but that bastard found out that it was a setup and got even more annoying CEO Zhang." Minzhe said annoyed.

"You really know a lot." Lanying said smiling. "It's because you are always busy and don't have time for me so I hang out with them. As you know I work with them now." Minzhe said casually. "Is there no way to stop that man from bothering CEO Zhang?" Lanying asked curiously. "There is, CEO Zhang have a real girlfriend and he might stay away." Minzhe said casually.

"How about I try it?" Lanying asked. Minzhe looked at Lanying doubtfully. "Are you sure? You are very famous and this could have a detrimental effect on your career." Minzhe said seriously. "That's fine with me." Lanying said indifferently. "I'm curious about what's inside your head." Honest Minzhe. Lanying laughed happily.

"A Yuan, don't accept him but you guys instead offer him to be A Yuan's boyfriend to get rid of that bastard. Are you guys crazy?" Haoran asked annoyed. "Come on, it's a good thing the bastard got out of the way." Bingwen said in agreement. "I am against." Said Haoyu was on Haoran's side. "It's not bad to try it. But I warn you if this interferes with A Yuan's activities. I will get rid of you immediately." Huizhong said sadistically. Lanying nodded in agreement.

---men's dorms---

@Qingyuan and Haoran's room

Qingyuan was busy with his schoolwork without noticing people coming into the room. "A Yuan." Call Bingwen. "What is it?" Qingyuan asked without looking at them at all. Qingyuan was too busy with his duties. "I have a way to get rid of that bastard but first you have to re-audition." Bingwen said. Qingyuan gave Bingwen an annoyed look.

"He has said, that he only felt this project was good without knowing the product it was promoting." Qingyuan said flatly. "You're wrong, the reason I wanted to take on this project at first was because it was good but after that I fell in love with the character Su Lanying in that game. That character seems to be similar to me." Honest Laning.

Qingyuan turned his head in surprise at Lanying's voice. "You guys come too." Qingyuan said putting on a straight face. "Why did you fall in love with Su Lanying?" Qingyuan asked seriously. "Because he is very loyal to Zhang Qingyuan." Lanying said seriously.

"Zhang Qingyuan is married to Liu Ying." Qingyuan said flatly. "I can feel that Qingyuan has Lanying in his heart and vice versa." Lanying answered firmly. "Just as you like. You seem to like Su Lanying's character. You can be accepted." Qingyuan said indifferently. Haoran stared at Qingyuan in disbelief.

"So what's your idea Luo Bingwen?" Qingyuan asked flatly. Huizhong, Minzhe, and Bingwen were already sitting on the chairs. Haoran and Haoyu sat on Haoran's bed. Only Lanying stood up. "Sit down" Qingyuan said to Lanying. Lanying nodded.

"You're dating Lanying." Bingwen said happily. "I refuse." Qingyuan said coldly. "Why? This is a good idea. You can get away from that bad bastard." Bingwen protested. "Firstly, I had to be a model once and he was an actor. Second, I really wanted to avoid the media. Third, I just wanted to settle down. Understood director Luo Bingwen?" Qingyuan asked flatly.

"Tch, why don't you want to be exposed to the media?" Bingwen asked annoyed. "I didn't want to add another Li Jianyu. So I stopped modeling." Qingyuan said flatly. "You stopped modeling because of your grandfather." Huizhong said calmly. "That's another reason." Qingyuan said calmly.

"Your grandfather taught us the cruel way." Minzhe protests. "He just told you to run the field for 50 laps." Qingyuan said casually. "That's cruel because I'm not the type to like sports." Minzhe protests. "Haoran can do it too and he's not the sports type either." Qingyuan said casually. "That's because Haoran has the motivation to do it. I don't have one." Minzhe said annoyed. "You're so talkative. Let's just say you're lazy." Qingyuan said indifferently.

"I'm not lazy but I can't afford your grandfather's training portion which is not humane at all. You only defend your grandfather and feel he is always right." Minzhe protests. Before Qingyuan could answer. Lanying's words shocked everyone. "I want to meet your grandfather." Lanying said looking at Qingyuan seriously. Qingyuan was shocked and looked at Lanying.

"Why? Are you interested in A Yuan and want to propose to him?" Bingwen teased. "Shut up!" Qingyuan said looking at Bingwen annoyed. "I am indeed interested in CEO Zhang." Honest Lanying. Qingyuan stared at Lanying in disbelief.

Bingwen grinned. "Haoran let's go." Bingwen said pulling Haoran along with him. Haoran was about to protest but it was too late. Haoyu, Minzhe and Huizhong came out after that too. "Can you not talk nonsense?" Qingyuan asked annoyed. "I'm serious." Lanying said looking at Qingyuan sincerely. Qingyuan was speechless as if fascinated.

Qingyuan immediately broke eye contact but Lanying cupped Qingyuan's cheek making Qingyuan look back at him. "You have beautiful eyes." Lanying said honestly. Qingyuan turned his gaze elsewhere without wanting to look into Lanying's eyes and face.

"Do you hate me so much that you won't even look me in the face?" Lanying asked sadly. "I'm not comfortable around people I just met so can you take your hand off my cheek?" Qingyuan asked. Without warning, Lanying kissed Qingyuan on the lips making Qingyuan quite surprised. Before Qingyuan managed to push Lanying away.

The door was wide open revealing Jianyu was there. Qingyuan wrapped his arms around Lanying's neck and returned the kiss deeply. "Stop!" Jianyu shouted angrily. Qingyuan was about to release the kiss but Lanying held Qingyuan's nape and even Qingyuan's sitting position moved to Lanying's lap.

"Stop!" Jianyu said getting more and more angry. Lanying deepened the kiss, causing Qingyuan to be overwhelmed by Lanying. Jianyu was furious and walked out slamming the door. But the kiss didn't stop even it got hotter.

The two of them stopped as their breaths were running out. Qingyuan hid his face in the crook of Lanying's neck. But it didn't last long as Qingyuan hurriedly got up. Qingyuan's face flushed in embarrassment. "Where's the bathroom?" Lanying asked awkwardly. Qingyuan pointed towards the bathroom. Dare not look at Lanying.

@bathroom

'Embarrassing! How can I become passionate with just a kiss? CEO Zhang will definitely be furious.' Lanying thought. 'The dreams are really driving me crazy.' thought Lanying frustrated.

Meanwhile in the room, Qingyuan held his lips. "This is crazy. I really kissed back." Qingyuan muttered frustratedly. Qingyuan sighed and patted his cheeks lightly. "I have to concentrate on my schoolwork." Qingyuan said starting to get busy doing schoolwork again.

Even when Lanying was out, Qingyuan was still busy with work. "What do you want to eat?" Lanying asked looking at the clock it was already curfew. "Instant noodles." Qingyuan said he was still working seriously. "Okay." Lanying said.

It didn't take long, the instant noodles were ready. "Eat first then continue your work." Lanying said. Qingyuan glanced at Lanying before tidying up his book and temporarily shifting it. Lanying put the cup of instant noodles in front of Qingyuan.

"You're not eating?" Qingyuan asked seeing Lanying only had one cup of instant noodles and it was already given to him. "I'm on a diet." Answer Lanying. "I almost forgot, you're an actor." Qingyuan said opening the lid of the instant noodles and eating them heartily.

Qingyuan looked at Lanying flatly. 'He looks at me as if he wants to eat instant noodles.' Qingyuan thought calmly. Qingyuan handed over half of the instant noodles left. "Eat, I'm full." Qingyuan said casually. Lanying took it and ate it with gusto. Qingyuan went back to his work.

By the time Qingyuan finished his work it was already 2 am. So Qingyuan stretched his body. Qingyuan looked at Lanying who was sleeping on his bed. Qingyuan pulled the blanket over Lanying's body. Qingyuan packed up his books and put them in his school bag.

Qingyuan took out the company files and read them until 5 am. After he finished reading it, Qingyuan grabbed his coat and was about to head out when Lanying stirred restlessly in his sleep. Qingyuan walked over to Lanying and patted him gently.

"Wake up." Qingyuan said quietly. Lanying woke up with cold sweat drenching his body. "Are you okay?" Qingyuan asked confused. Making Qingyuan even more confused, was Lanying hugging Qingyuan tightly. "Do not leave me alone." Lanying said desperately.

"I'm right here. Calm yourself." Qingyuan said soothingly. Lanying tightened his embrace. Qingyuan rubbed Lanying's back softly. Slowly when Lanying began to calm down, he let go of the hug. "Where are you going?" Lanying asked looking at Qingyuan who was carrying a jacket.

"I'm going to run in the sport field. Do you want to come?" Offer Qingyuan. Laning nodded. The two of them went running in the sport field. When Qingyuan and Lanying returned, Bingwen, Haoran and Huizhong were already sitting there with food on the table.

"Where's Haoyu?" Qingyuan asked sitting down. Lanying sat down. Haoran looked at Lanying unfriendly. "He came back to his house because his mom was nagging him about not coming home for the past month." Bingwen said happily.

"You complained about Haoyu to his mother right? Be careful you will get revenge from Haoyu later. Let's eat." Qingyuan said flatly. Qingyuan's hand was hit by Haoran. "Wash your hands first." Said Haoran. "Old mother." Qingyuan grunted pulling Lanying along with him.

The two of them went to the bathroom to wash their hands. When the two returned, they ate their food in silence. After he was done, Qingyuan put away the box. "Where are you going?" Qingyuan asked as they all came back from brushing their teeth.

"I want to go to the playground. You all come along." Said Bingwen. "I'm not going with you." Qingyuan said going to the bathroom to brush his teeth. "Why?" Bingwen's protest followed Qingyuan. "Because A Yuan needs to sleep." Huizhong said calmly.

"How do you know?" Bingwen asked in shock. "Because every Saturday that's when Qingyuan would go to bed. The routine was because he didn't sleep the night before." Huizhong said casually. Qingyuan smiled and quickly finished brushing his teeth.

"He's not sleeping, how do you know?" Haoran asked, not receiving it. "You as his roommate certainly don't know because you always sleep soundly. I came to your room on Friday night and found A Yuan was not sleeping so I asked." Huizhong said casually.

"But A Yuan's bed is wrinkled." Haoran protests. "That's me sleeping." Lanying said awkwardly. "You're not coming home?" Haoran asked in surprise. "He slept here last night." Qingyuan said casually. "WHAT?!" Haoran shouted in shock.
