He is the CEO and founder of  AESTHETE a company that also deals with build-up collections, often in specialist areas.  His company also develops ways in which objects, archives, and artworks can be interpreted, through exhibitions, publications, events, and audio-visual presentations. He is Ms. Mercedes's rival.

Ms. Katherine Smith 28 years old

She is Mercedes's best friend. They have known each other since elementary school. They have been inseparable since. She is an actor and has an 8-year daughter who loves Mercedes so much.

Mr. Trent Manovar 32 years

He is Christian's best buddy. They have been together since high school. He is Christian's go-to guy. They spend their time together on most occasions.

Avery Smith 8 years

She is Katherine's daughter and Mercedes's goddaughter. She is currently doing grade 4 at Page Academy Private School.

Mercedes P.O.V

“Holy shit”. I sighed. So today I woke up late, I had to go pick up my favorite human beings from the airport, my best friend Katherine and my one and only Goddaughter.

I got up and got ready to leave for the airport so I could get there early. I called my assistant to cancel all my meetings for today and schedule all the meetings for the next two consecutive days. I got into my car and immediately left for the airport. The thing is they will be flying in with my private airline so that is an advantage as I will get to meet them by the tarmac.

“Finally”. I said as I got to the airport. Guess what I encountered. There is nothing that I hate in this whole world like paparazzi. I feel that they make my life miserable because they pry into my personal life and other people too. I called the airport manager so she could help me deal with this situation. She finally came and cleared the crowd and the East wing of the whole airport were free and I could have my privacy again.

Just when I got on the Tarmac I got the most precious view ever, they had arrived. We ran towards

each other as soon as they got down the plane stairs. My goddaughter Avery ran up to meet me halfway.

"Now how is my favorite goddaughter doing?" I said. "Well, I thought I was the only goddaughter you had", Avery said hurt.

"Oh yeah shoot you are the only one okay". I said as I tried to reassure her. Luckily she elevated her mood and she wanted to tell me about their trip. Just when she started to narrate the whole trip to me, Katherine interrupted.

"Kgm! hello guys. I hate to say this but I cannot be competing with an 8-year-old baby for my best friend's attention. Not in a thousand years" she said alas.

"Avery, do I smell jealousy in the air?" I said sarcastically. "Aunt Merc, I thought I was the only one who smelt it." She said. I immediately turned to give her a hug it had been a year and 3 months since I saw my bestie, and I hugged her so tight that I feel I squeezed her breath out.

"Hey love I missed you so much". I said. "Well, that didn't get me thinking like that". Kathy said.

"Okay okay how about this let me make it up to you and take you shopping. I suggested.

She made that look of hers when she was unimpressed. So I had to take matters into my hands. "Okay, I will get you a Birkin". I said and immediately after that she jumped onto me and told me how she loves me.

" So friend listen you know we have to the Gala today right?" I said.

"Yeah, that I know". She replied.

"I was thinking maybe Versace dresses will do, "I suggested.

"Urgh Nah we had Versace at the last gala so how about Louis Vuitton?" she said.

"Well that's fine I guess so yeah Louis Vuitton it is right?" I agreed.

The day went well and we all went shopping. We had also hired a babysitter for Avery since we would be out the entire night. Normally we go out the whole night and come back the next morning. I hot Avery a nice pair of sneakers earlier that day. We finally got back and I laid Avery down to sleep. Immediately after I did that I went to my room. Kathy came in and she had a box, I assumed it was meant to be a present she had got for me. She got down and we talked she finally gave me the present and told me that I should open it.

met this other guy. We kinda locked our eyes for like 30 seconds I think. He came over to me and introduced himself to me his name was Christian.

One thing I knew for certain was that I had never seen him before and damn the guy looked good for my liking. I had never felt that type of attraction before. He got me a drink and we drank ourselves too much. We had a great time. Just as I got up he grabbed my arm and kissed me. I was surprised at first but I let him dominate my tongue then the kiss deepened, we somehow got to a room and we made love.

NEXT MORNING………………….

I woke up in an unfamiliar room and I felt a heavy thing against my body. It was just there that I realized I had a one-nightstand. “Fuck what happened. Oh no this cannot be happening. I woke Christian up and he was just as surprised as I was. I then asked him “umm! Did we use protection?” just then I found condoms by the bedside and I was relieved, I got out of bed. Just when I stood up I felt pain in my lower abdomen.  Did I think to myself how big was he? I immediately shook that thought off. We then came to terms that this was a one-night thing and it ended there. Luckily I didn’t share my name with him. It was an advantage as I had never seen him around so assumed he was just a foreign investor.

We part our ways and I went to a pharmacy to get some morning-after pills just in case something happened.

I got the pills and headed home. Just when I got out of my car, Kathy came to me running. She asked where I was coming from. “  umm I just went to the office to finish my work.” I said panicking.

“Really?” she said giving that suspicious look.
