A girl was looking out of the window waiting for her teacher to arrive in her noisy class when she saw a strange man by the gates of the school. She was bored and looking for entertainment so she continued to watch as the man approached the gate. He look pale.

“ Wait, what was that on his face? ” she thought as she leaned closer to the window trying to get a better view.

It looked like blood dripped from his face as he limped towards one of the guards, who was probably trying to help him.

She chuckled, “ A zombie apocalypse?"

“I was waiting so long for something like this to happen” She thought getting up from her seat, picking up her bag and getting ready to leave the classroom.

“ This will be fun ” She thought smiling.

Just then her teacher entered the classroom and seeing her leaving stopped her by holding her by her hand and asked, “ Karma, Where do you think you are going? ”

Karma looked at him angry because he touched her but said calmly, “ Even though I don't like any one of you in this class, wait, let me rephrase that, even though I don't like most of you in the class, I will give you this one warning. If you wish to die in this classroom you can stay but if you want to live follow me. ”

She flicked his hand off her and left the room,leaving all her classmates confused. Only one girl came after a while, running after Karma.

“ Hi, I'm “ You don't need to tell me your name, I remember you.”

“ Megan, right ” She asked the girl making sure she got the name right.

“ Even though I'm by myself most of the time, that doesn't mean I don't listen to your conversations or don't talk to people” Karma said walking into her friend's class.

On Mondays she have a free period in the morning so Karma didn't have to talking or try to explain anything to the teacher.

“ Sashi, Where are you?” she asked and heard an answer from inside the crowd.

Sashi, a short, albino girl with extremely long snow white hair and purple eyes like gems asked, “ Karma, What are you doing here? ” she then continued, “ Did something happen? ”

Karma signalled her to come. She left her friends, taking her bag with her and grabbed onto Karma’s arm asking, “ What happened? ”

Karma walked quickly to the school's gate saying, “ Do you have the stuff? ”

“ Oh, so it happened?”

“Girl, you know I always come prepared” She said taking out her geometry set pan and removing the plastic that held all her tools.

When she removed it, Megan curious, peeked over and saw a knife.

“ Why do you have that in school?” She asked

Sashi quickly covered her mouth and hide in the corner with Karma. Karma peeked from behind the corner to the front gates and then took the knife, coming closer to Megan

“ Is she going to kill me?” Megan asked herself as she struggled.

“ Shhh, they are here” Karma whispered, gripping the knife tightly before dashing to the tree next close to the school entrance.

Sashi removed her hand from Megan’s mouth and hinted her to be quiet and Megan nodded.

They both peeked out and saw people with skin an unhealthy color some even looking like it is peeling off their faces and some with limbs missing as they limped or even crawled on the moist concrete ground.

“ So her father really wasn't crazy ” Megan heard Sashi mutter to herself before pulling out a cellphone and texting someone.

“ Thank goodness there is service still” She said.

Megan could see Karma pull out her pull out a phone.

“ What are those things and what are you doing? ” Megan asked looking into her phone and saw that she was texting Karma.

 The last message Megan saw written was “I am calling now ” and before you knew it Sashi called Karma and both Megan and Sashi heard could ringing.

“ Stop you will get her killed” Megan said as she tried to take the phone from Sashi.

“ Don't worry about her, she'll be fine ” Sashi said, signalling Megan to take a look.

They peeked out and saw Karma throw her phone outside the gate and the zombies sprinted out of the gate, some crawling too. When all of the zombies was gone, Karma sprinted to the gate alerting some of the zombies but she made it just in time and close the gates before the zombies could come inside.

A zombie went to bite her hand but before it could she quickly removed it from the gate, locking it. The girl walked towards her but then shouted, “ Don't come out yet! ”

One of the security guards that was bitten got up and hearing her shout, rushed Karma. The security guard was missing big junks of skin probably because the zombies feasted on her for a while before she became a zombie. Karma stabbed her in zombies weak point, the brain and then in the heart a next weak point and dark red blood spurted from it's wounds and it died not to long after. The two other guards that was about to get up was killed by Sashi who used her compass to stab both zombies.

“ I thought I told you not to come out yet ” Karma said, getting up from the ground dusting her clothes.

“ You did? ” Sashi asked playfully as they approached eachother.

“ Sashi, Do you have anything to barakade the gate?” Karma said looking at her sporting bag.

Sashi chuckled.

“ Didn't I tell you that I always come prepared?” she asked taking out a big white ball off sheet and opened it

What was contained in the sheet was long tarps, smooth and covered in sharp spikes with ropes at corner of the tarp. There was about 5 of the tarps in total all with sharp spikes, hot glued or imbedded in it.

“ Indeed, you are very prepared ” Karma said chuckling at the site of it.

“ We’ll need help putting it up ” Karma said looking at the tarp.

“ The last time you checked there was no holes in the wall, right?” Karma asked.

“ Yep, there was no holes” Sashi said pretty sure of what she said.

“ Both of you check one last time and meet me in the auditorium afterwards” Karma said leaving for the principal’s office.

“ Why do yo have to come with me?” Sashi said pretty pissed but checked all around the school walls for holes with Megan’s help.

Meanwhile Karma arrived to the  empty principal's office and looked for the microphone connected to the school's PA system. She announced for everyone to gather in the auditorium and then quickly went to the staff room for the auditorium’s keys.

“ Where do you think you are going with this? ” Karma hear a male voice ask behind her.

“ A teacher said that she needed it for an announcement ” Karma said still facing away from the person, changing her voice to sound very innocent and convincing.

“Ok, you could go” the person said.

“ Ah...Wait a...” before the male voice could continue Karma dashed out the room heading to the auditorium. When she arrived she opened the auditorium doors, she saw a few students already waiting by the doors confused.

Seeing her with the keys to the auditorium, they asked her about the announcement and she answered, “ It is a surprise. ”

She went up on stage, fixed the microphone and afterwards waited for more people to enter the auditorium. There was a few teachers that entered asking her about the announcement and why was she on stage but she answered all of them saying that the teacher told her to open the door and get everyone settled. After that some of the teachers would leave but most of them would ask, “ What is the teacher's name? ” and Karma would answer, “ I don't know.”

When the auditorium was almost full Karma spoke.

“ Good morning all, I have an important announcement to make ” Karma said looking at everyone in the auditorium.

“ If any of you realized, the gate in the front of the school is locked and there are some bodies in the front of the school” when she said that everyone looked at her shocked and tried asking questions.

“ Please say quiet, I will answer questions later” Karma said quieting everyone down.

“ No matter what do not open that gate” then Karma continued, “ A virus have spread resulting in people becoming brainless masses that bite people, spreading the virus. ”

“Some of you probably already know the name of these brainless monsters” Karma said looking at the crowd.

“ You mean zombies?” someone questioned from in the crowd.

“ Indeed, I have been preparing for this moment so there are a few stuff we could do to fully protect the school but I will require your assistance” Karma replied.

“ How do we know you're not lying? ” another person said from inside the crowd.

When Karma was about answer familiar voice came from the crowd and shouted, “ She is not lying!”
