It was an earlier morning and the earliest frigid wind blew across the ocean. The submerged in the middle east of the ocean woke up to begin their day. Had it been in the ancient submerged kingdom, they would have gathered around in a spherical way to praise their great king. They woke up and attend to their daily schedule activities. The palace maids and guards swine up and down getting things in it order before the king woke up. Maya the last daughter of the great underwater king, king Deeka fluttered her eyes opened and got herself up from her long dream. She was stunned by the new colors on her rumb

" Oh, my gosh..". She wiggled her tail and chuckled.

She quickly concealed behind her bed when she heard a thump on her portico. Her maid, Mary penetrated.

" Maya, where are you?" Mary asked as she glimpse roughly to see if she would uncover her.

" Tedaa!!! I'm here". Maya emerged behind her back, stunning her.

" Hey, you scared me". Mary clenched her chest.

" Where were you, I have been looking for you". Mary said as she hunched on the bed.

" You are announcing it as if you have been looking for me throughout the unbroken night". She mumbled and fling her towel on her back as she glided to her lavatory.

" Hey, are you just leaving me here?". Mary asserted and arose.

" I don't think you got anything significant to tell me...hey, wait I forgot to reveal the new colors on my tail to you". She announced as she wiggled her tail.

" Wow..my sense wasn't even there. Is marvelous". Mary said as she rubbed her tail.

" Yes, it is". Maya said and twinkled.

" Okay now, go and bathe quickly, your parents are waiting for you..Miss birthday girl who will soon leave us to have peace". Mary chuckled.

" Whatever". Maya went to grab her bath.

In the middle of the day, Chris stood in the cafeteria doorway, eyes darting from one line to the next. The drool- worthy smell of greasy pizza wafted from the entryway that everyone was jammed into. Stick figures lined both sides of the salad bar. Nothing but the rustle of plastic sounded from the right-hand line: Twinkies wrappers, chops and twix bars. He glanced at his watched and growled. If they were going to give so many choices, they should get more than 25 minute for lunch.

" Chris, come over here ". Steve dubbed to him.

" And why should I straddle with poor rags like you people?". Chris asserted as he twirled his eyebrows upside down.

Everyone snickered at Steve who curled his head and stood up, then peeked at Chris to an extent before going out of the cafeteria.

" And where do you think you are going? Didn't you call me over to have lunch with you?". He inquired as his minions stood beside him. Steve was already out of their earshot.

" Who did he reckon he is? perpetually bearing like a king". Steve muttered as he sauntered out of the cafeteria.

" He shouldn't have said that". A girl said,

And Chris swiveled his back and glanced at her.

" What did you just say?". He implored and smirked. The girl stood up instantly and bent her head.

" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that ". She pleaded, but as everyone comprehends. Chris will never tolerate anyone who strikes his path and gets on Scott-free.

" You didn't mean it?". He asked and the girl nodded.

" Good, therefore I won't also mind squirting the food on you". He said and grabbed her food then squirted it on her and went away with his minions heeding him.

The entire place veered into a murmuring province while some were idolizing Chris.

" Wow..he is also elegant and cute".

" So cute".

Chris grinned and strolled away.

Steve was embarrassed to the point that he left his food there and went to his lecture auditorium.

The successive day was Maya's birthday, she was now eighteen years old and was courting into the realm of real humans.

" Thanks, everyone, I will make sure I make you proud". She said and hunched then went back to her stool.

Everything was performed for her to go out. Her mother guide her together with her father before they steered her up to the veneer of the water.

Yards were those who sobbed and those who couldn't even see her off. Mary couldn't hold back her slashes as she watched Maya quivering at them from the bank of the seashores.

Maya watched them till everyone was out of the surface before she got out of the water.

The next day in the afternoon, She saw a denomination of people at the beach and saw that some were communicating while others were eating and strolling.

" Hmmm.. what are they doing over there?". She inquired herself, she strolled nearer to see what was advancing. She was only donning a magnificent pink robe with her bare foot on the ground.

She glanced at them, some were wearing shoes and others were not scouring anything.

She peeked back at her feet and then back at them. Then she looked around to observe if she would excavate anything like that somewhere.

" Oh, thanks stars I have found one". She whispered as she saw a couple of black shoes on the sand. She put her legs in and it was a little bit gigantic than her.

"Wow, nice". She said and whirled around, peering at herself when someone clenched her from the back.

"Hey, are you blind? Can't you see these shoes are mine?". Chris announced as he glanced at the allure in cloak of him.

Maya loosened her mouth but no words came out.

"Why can't I talk? Why is my voice not coming out?". She said as she dabbed her chest. She attempted talking but nothing came out.

"Can't you speak?". Chris asked as he peeked at her.

Maya inaugurated murmuring to herself but Chris couldn't heed anything.

"You better stop pottering around with me and speak up now!". He shrieked and the rest of his friends huddled around him.

"What is going on here boy?". Aziz asked.

"This brat here wore my shoes and I'm interrogating her but she is not speaking ". Chris said and crumpled his hands.

"Hey, take the shoes off right now ". Aziz said and confronted her. Maya was frightened, she looked around her, and precisely then, she started scampering away.

"Hey, stop right there ". Aziz screamed and the rest was about to scuttle after her when Chris interrupted them.

"Don't worry guys, I will hook her myself..she wants to play with fire? Then we will play". Chris said and went back to his place with his friends.

Maya runned out of the beach and found herself in the busy city.

"Maya, you are the best runner ever". She admitted her braveness and fling a string of her hair back.

She strolled through the brisk city and gazed at the beautiful skyscraper and some of the lankiest buildings and enormous company buildings.

" Wow, this world is glamorous ". She said,

" Oh, I'm hungry ". She said and looked around, merely then, her eyes snatched a snapshot of spicy noodles.

" I can even puff its fragrance." She said and strolled inside the restaurant where she found the portrait of the food.

They were a lot of people conversing and eating cheerfully. Everyone was active with something. She subsisted there for a while till her snout took her to where they carried their orders of food. She stood in front of the order notch and unfurled her hands.

"What are you buying young lady". A woman inquired but she was quiet.

"Hello, Miss I'm talking to you". She duplicated herself

"I think this person can't hear me when I talk. How about I make whiffs with my hands". She mumbled and before the woman could say anything she began committing signs with her hands, notifying her she was hungry and needed some food.

"Oh, she is a nice dumb lady". Someone said.

"Yes, I guess".

"And what is she trying to say".

"She said she is hungry and needs some food to eat".

"Why is it that nowadays young people don't want to work but always use their senses to get food from people?".

The woman kept on disputing till someone uttered.

"Sorry, but I came with her". Steve said and clenched Maya close to him.

"Oh, okay we are sorry, we took her to be a bad person ". A fat woman at the far end said.

"Don't worry Auntie..now please what would you have?". Steve knew nonentity about her, but when he saw how the women were gossiping about her, he felt disastrous and wanted to help her

"Oh, I would like some spicy noodles". Maya opened her mouth but no one heeded her.

"What did she say?". The first woman she confronted said.

"Oh, she said she will have some spicy noodles". Steve said it out of the blue for he didn't actually heard it himself.

The woman announced it to them and they begin working on it for her.

"Let, 's go and sit over there". Steve suggested a chair in a corner.

"They will bring the food". He persuaded her when he saw her eyes twirled upwards discernible of what he meant by going to sit down while she was hungry.

They walked away to the table and within a minute the food was served.

"Mmm..I'm soo hungry ". She said and started surging on the food without even utilizing the folk which was positioned next to her. Steve only glanced at her quietly.

"Where does this girl come from? He asked himself.

"We don't eat with our hands okay". He said and stroked her hands in a tissue then conveyed to her the folk and instructed her how to use it and she was too vigorous that she memorized it within a minute. Steve cackled at her cuteness

"Don't worry I will find her, no matter what". Chris said and stood up, then ambled frankly to his car and drove away with his bare foot.

"Is Chris home yet?". Chris's mother, Mrs.Abigail consulted the maid who was on obligation at that time.

"Please ma, young master is not yet back ". She declared and tilted.

"Really, since morning?". She inquired with her needles on her waist while her eyes widened.

"Yes ma". The lady mumbled.

"Okay, go back to your work I will see to it". She summoned her and she headed away.

"This boy deserves a big punishment he won't ever forget". She muttered and clobbered her feet on the floor.

"Hello, honey ". Mr. Mike, Chris's father dubbed. "Yes,". She whispered, clenched her cranium and exhaled.

"What is the problem? You look worried ". Mr. Mike interrogated.

"Why won't I be worried when my son is driving me crazy?". She implored and looked away.

"Calm down my dear, you don't need to worry too much. If he is not charging, then I will find a sensible person and hand him my company ". Mr. Mike said and she flinched.

"What!!". Mrs. Abigail shrieked.

"Yes, you heard me right. That is what is in my mind if he keeps on fooling around like that". Mr. Mike said and stood up then strolled away.

"Wait!". She cried out but he was already out of her earshot.

"What is happening..No, No he can't give away what we have suffered to build". She reckoned then rushed to speak with him.

"Are you done eating?". Steve asked Maya when he saw her plate cleared. She bobbed her head and spotted down the folk on the plate.

"So, what is your name?". Steve asked.

"Oh, I'm called Maya". She said about Steve heard anything. (Dammit, I forgot that they can't hear me for now). She thought and bent his head.

"I'm sorry to ask this but are you dumb?". He inquired and bit his lips. Maya bucked up at him and bounced.

"Oh, sorry about that. And my apologies for making you try to talk today". He said apologetically.

"Awwen, I never knew people here are soo kind". Maya said to herself and beamed which made Steve chuckled.

"Okay, I'm Steve and a student in Ling's university in the southmost of this city ". He said and Maya nodded.

"What is he talking about? Steve is his name..mmm.. nice name I guess ". She said to herself as usual.

"Can we go now?" He inquired. she nodded and stood up together with Steve and they headed out

" You can sleep here this evening, and oh, I forgot. There is the bathroom there, and have this". He conveyed her one of his shirts.

" Wear this after you have taken your bath. I will be going downstairs". Steve said and Chuckled while Maya solely bounced her head.

" I will do just that". She endorsed to herself.

" Is he gone?". She chirped her head out to see if Steve was gone.

" Oh, human beings are soo kind. But why were my sisters saying disastrous things about them? I'm I yet to discover that too?". She inquired of herself as she propelled her way to the bathroom.

Immediately she abode under the shower, she whirled into the allure she was, with her glamorous sparkling rump.

"Oh". She shrieked and fell into the bathtub which was just at the corner of the bathroom.

" How I hate it when my tails appeared..now I'm a human so I don't need it here". She said and quietly take her bath.

" Mom, she is only a dumb girl who has nowhere to go. I met her at the restaurant where she was petitioning for food. The woman there was rumoring about her and you know how much I detest it when someone gossips about another". Steve clarified.

" A, dumb begging girl?". Her grandmother announced and resisted with her food.

" What is wrong with you Steve? Why will you bring a total stranger into your house..mmm..". His grandmother said.

" Grandma, I know she is a stranger but she is in need and I had to help her, that isn't my fault ". Steve Defend himself.

" Mom, what Steve did was right. Although he should have informed us, still he told us. so let's just give the girl some time to stay, and if she finally got to know where she lived then she go. If not she can even help us at the laundry shop ". Aunt Maggie ascertained her mother who was Steve's Grandmother.

" Whatever.. whatever ". She said and persisted with her food.

" Thanks, mom". Steve whispered and winked at her mother.

" Anything for you my dear". She said and chuckled.

Suddenly they heard someone footsteps reaching nigher to them.

" Who is there?". Aunt Maggie inquired and Maya materialized from the corner.

" Wow, she is beautiful ". Aunt Maggie was dumbfounded so was her mother.

" Where did you say you saw her and what was she doing?". Steves's Grandmother said as she plunged her spoon back onto the plate.

" I saw her in the restaurant and she needed help". Steve reiterated himself.

" Where does this beauty come from?". Her mother Aunt Maggie implored with her hand on her jaw.

" For that, I don't know". Steve said and smirked.

" Hey, come over here". Steve said and Maya walked quietly to them.

" Sit down". Steve stood up and grabbed a seat for her. She reclined down and leaned her head.

" Queen of beauty, can I see your face again?". Aunt Maggie mumbled and peeked at her as if she had discovered a goddess. Maya boosted her head and they gasped.

" Wow, what a weapon. I wish I had a daughter like you". Grandma said and Aunt Maggie sprawl her eyes.

" Are you not the one who was sacking her out right now?". She interrogated and sneered.

Steve served her some of the food. She stared at the food for an extent then back at Steve.

" Why you don't like it?". Steve inquired and she nodded.

" You want spicy noodles?". He asked and giggled. Maya nodded her head silently.

" Spicy noodles? Okay I will quickly make some for her". Aunt Maggie said and rushed to the kitchen.

Maya supposed she had earned a home which she will forever call home, not discerning she was in cold water on fire which was and approximately to eruption.

They concocted her what she expected and she relished herself. After that, she went to Steves's room to take a nap.

"Oh, mom not again. Why are you always crying. I haven't done anything". Chris tried to console his mother but the more he attempted the more she moaned.

"Chris, do you know that your father wants to hand over his company to someone else because you are not serious in his eyes?". Abigail his mother announced.

"What?". Chris was dumbstruck, it was like cold water had been poured on him. He stood there paralyzed.

"Yes, my dear, because you are not serious. All the time you will go around the world causing trouble and doing what you shouldn't do. Breaking rules and regulations everywhere you go. Why? Just tell me why? I don't want to let go of what we have suffered to build ". She asserted and sizzled.
