Daisy's POV:

"Young miss, get up", someone called out. I snuggled my face into the soft pillow and whined like a baby. "Young miss, you'll be late for your university if you don't get up now", came another voice.

I groaned and sat up on the bed as I rubbed my sleepy eyes and looked at the people in front of me. There were two maids standing with their heads bowed in front of me.

"You'll can leave. I'll come downstairs after I get ready", I said. They bowed and left.

Heya! I'm Daisy Evans, 20 year old. My major is Business Management. I'm 5'6". I've Auburn hairs that end at my mid back. I've fair skin and green eyes with long lashes. I'm the first daughter of Evans Family and was pampered since birth.

My mom died when I was 7 in an accident and then my dad got myself a new mom half a year later. She's a scheming lady and keep bullying me. She has a daughter, Stella, who's just a year younger than me and a son, Glen, who's now 12.

I got io from my bed and headed to the bathroom. I quickly took a shower and got walked to my walk in closet. I picked a white floral spaghetti strap skater dress that ended just below my mid thigh and white strapped stilettos. My wavy hairs were let down. I applied some eyeliner, mascara and light pink lipstick. I put on a white chain wrist watch and sprayed my chanel perfume then headed downstairs.

As soon as I entered the dining room, I saw my step mother. My dad was out of the country for some business and this is one of the worst time in my life as I can't see my dad yet have to bear my mother. I wish I could see my mom everyday like I used to in the earlier days.

"Good morning, sister", Glen held my hand. Aww, how can I forget this cute thing. He's my sunshine in this cloudy darkness. I bent down to his level and kissed on his cheek. "Good morning, baby brother", I ruffled his hairs and smiled.

"Glen, come here and sit", came an annoyed voice of my step mother. I rolled my eyes and walked to my chair. "Can't you smile in the morning? What with that rotten face?", came an annoyed voice of my step mother.

"Auntie, I smile to people who smile to me", I mocked with a tight smile and smiled at my brother. Even though he's not my biological brother but he's close to me unlike those mother-daughter pair.

"Mom, get her marry off when dad comes back", Stella said. I rolled my eyes. "He's not your dad but mine. Call him uncle", I retorted back with anger. I hate when someone else calls my dad as dad except for Glen.

"Mind your tone, Daisy", my step mother, Jia yelled. "You're not my mom so you have no right to discipline me", I said and stood up from my chair. "Don't try to become my mother because no one can replace her."

I stormed out of the dining room and got into my red customized Ferrari. I drove to my university which is one of the top elite universities in the world. I parked my car and got off.

"Daisy", someone called out. I turned and saw my group. There are five member in my group. I, Liana, Brent, Owen, Vinnie. I waved at them and walked over to them.

"Hey, beautiful", Vinnie smiled. I smiled back. "Wassup, guys?", I asked. "Waiting for you", Brent answered. We chatted for a while then headed to attend our respective lectures. After I was done with all my lectures, I headed back home.

"Ms. Princess, you're back", came the most irritating voice. I smiled looking at my step mother. "Auntie, please step aside. I'm not in a mood to talk", I said and tried to walk past but she held my arm.

"I've arrange a guy for you and you've to meet him", she said arrogantly. I pulled my arm from her grasp and said, "Auntie, I'd like if you don't interfere in my life."

"Daisy, if you don't want me to throw away all your dear mother's things then obey me", she said with a smirk. "Don't you dare touch my mom's things. I'll tell dad", I said pointing my finger at her.

"Oh, then go ahead. I wonder if your father will believe you or me when I tell him about the last argument", she sneered. "You!", I was fuming in anger. I walked past her and headed upstairs.

"They'll be here in an hour. Be ready", she yelled. I went to my room and closed the door behind. I took my mom's photo frame and hugged it. "Mom, why does she keeps doing things like this? Why can't she accept me? I've been so good to her in the start but why does she hate me?"

I took a shower and changed my clothes. I wore a yellow knee length A line floral dress with matching heels. I combed my hairs and let down. I applied peach color lipstick and sprayed my favorite perfume. I chose a matching Chanel bag and put on my shades.

I went downstairs to find an average looking guy sitting and chatting with auntie. There was a man beside that guy in his forties. I walked confidently towards them as auntie called me.

"She's Daisy, the eldest daughter", auntie introduced. I smiled a little. "Daisy, this is Mr. Baker and his son, Teo. Mr. Baker is a businessman", auntie said to me. I smiled at the two of them politely.

"Auntie, I'm going out to do some shopping", I said politely. "Oh that's great. Take Teo with you", Auntie said. "Sure", I said with a smirk. Teo gave a smile to me. I just wanted to puke looking at those yellow teeth. Doesn't this guy brush?

"Don't you dare do anything mischievous", Auntie warned me in a low tone. I looked at her innocently and said, "I don't do anything like that." I turned to Teo and smiled, "Teo, shall we go?"

He nodded and we headed out. The chauffeur opened the door for us as we got in. We were heading to the mall. "What's your age?", I asked the guy. "28 and you?", he asked.

"None of your business", I said arrogantly. "Don't be like this. We are going to marry each other", he said and moved closer to me. I glared at him and warned, "Some more closer and you'll be thrown out."

He stopped moving and said, "You're really arrogant." I turned to him and smiled, "Then stay away from me. I'm not going to marry someone like you. Do you know how much I spend when I go to shop? You can't even pay."

"You think like that? Today I'll pay for everything", he said proudly. "I don't need your filthy money. Keep it with you. My dad is not poor and gives me enough money", I retorted.

We reached the mall. The chauffeur opened the door for me as I got down followed by Teo. He kept following me wherever I went. I walked to a watch shop with two bodyguards following me along with Teo.

"Will you stop following me?", I turned back at Teo in irritation. "I'm your finace", he said. I laughed. "Fiance? When did I agree? I'm rejecting you. Who wants to be with you? You're an idiot", I said in the most insulting way.

"I'll still marry you", he said. "I'm not gonna marry someone with yellow teeth. You stink. Just stay away from me", I poked on his chest. "If your step mother knows this, it will be bad for you", he said with narrowed eyes.

"I'll take care of her. You don't have to worry about me", I said and walked inside the shop. It was a luxury shop. I chose six watches and paid for them with my card.

Teo kept following me. "Stop following me. I don't like you. Don't you understand that?", I almost yelled at him. "You are mine. I like you and I will marry you", he said and came close to me.

"Did I hire you two to just watch the show?", I turned to my bodyguards. They quickly came forward and protected me. "You want my money? Take this", I took out some bills and threw it on Teo's face.

I've long known that those father and son came as they thought that they will be benefited by my dad after the marriage but I'm not so easy going. I won't allow my dad's money to be spent on such idiots.

I insulted Teo in front of everyone and walked out.

Daisy's POV:

Even after rejecting Teo, my step mother didn't stop there and kept arranging guys for me. She just wants me out of the way as I'll be inheriting all the assets after my dad being the heir of the family but she wants her daughter or son to be the heir.

Today, I made a guy throw out of the house after insulting him. I was in my room when Auntie came in. She slapped me hard as I fell on the ground due to the sudden impact.

"You slut. You think you can just reject everyone and I'll stop? No. I'll make you marry. Tomorrow your father will come back and then I'll tell him everything you did in these days. Let's see who he will side up with", she said.

"I told you that I'll throw away your dear mother's things and I will do it", she said. I begged her not to do it but she did. She threw away my mom's memories. Stella kept laughing at my vulnerable state.

"You bitch. You'll be married off then I'll be the next heir", Stella smirked. I cried as my mom's things were thrown out. "Auntie, please don't do it. I'll listen to you", I begged but she didn't even glance at me.

"Please don't take my mom's things", I begged the workers but they didn't listen to me. "Auntie, please", I grabbed her hand and begged but she shoved my hand make me imbalance.

"Ahh!", I yelled as I fell down the stairs. Dark spots appeared in front of my eyes. I saw the servants rushing over to me to help me. I smiled and soon darkness occupied me.

"Sweetie, come here", I heard my mom's voice. "Momma, wait for me. I'm coming", I said as I ran towards her but couldn't reach her. "Momma, don't go", I said.

"Baby, come to mommy", she smiled. Her auburn hairs were flowing with the air and she looked so beautiful. Her lightly tanned skin like me shined under the sunlight. Her smiled was full of innocence and love.

"Mommy, wait for me. I'm coming", I ran to her but couldn't reach her. "Baby, mommy is going", she said and moved away from my grasp. "Momma, don't leave me", I cried but she didn't listen.

I ran towards her direction but couldn't reach her. "Momma!", I yelled as I sat up. I heard the loud beeping sound of the machines. I looked around to find myself in the hospital. My arm was hurt. My forehead hurt.

Doctor and nurse came rushing inside. I looked at them blankly. The doctor checked me up. "For how much time was I out?", I asked the doctor. "Two days. Your injuries are minor so you don't have to worry but your forehead was a bit much hurt", he explained me everything then left.

Dad entered with a worried look. He hugged me tightly. "Dad, I'm okay", I said in a calm tone. "You should be careful while walking. How did you fall from the stairs while you were walking?", he asked.

I understood what my step mother would have said so I went with the flow as I don't want dad to be upset. "I just slipped off", I said. "Be scared from next time", he said and kissed on my forehead. I nodded.

I was discharged from the hospital the next day and came home. I went to my room quietly and sat at the edge of the bed on the floor with my knees upto my chest. Suddenly someone entered.

"Daisy, it's better if you cooperate and just marry or else I'll make them throw away everything related to your mother from this house", Auntie said. I nodded quietly.

I was scared. I remember the time when she beat me when I was 12. I didn't allow Stella to take my toys so she locked me in the storeroom and then beat me until I fainted. When dad asked about the injuries, auntie said that I got them while fighting at school.

Dad too scolded me for that. Auntie kept punishing me everytime I denied any of her command. She even accused my mom. I tried my best to be a good girl but she never accepted me. She even took away all my toys when I was young but then I changed my ways and became arrogant.

I got up and took my mom's photo frame as I laid on the bed with the frame on my chest and hugged it as if feeling that she's near me. I remember momma never beat me. She used to make me understand calmly.

When I used to deny to eat mom used to feed me saying different names of my favorite cartoons unlike Auntie who made me starve everytime dad wasn't around when I denied to eat.

I saw a figure in front of me. It was my mom. "Mom, why do they hate me? Do you also hate me", I asked her. "No, sweetie. How can I hate my baby? I love you", she said with a smile. "I love you, momma", I said and smiled.

"Momma, I want to come to you", I said in a sad tone. "Baby, I'm always with you. You don't have to come to me. See, I'm here. You're such a good girl", she said and gave a smile to me. I nodded and smiled back.

I don't know when I fell asleep but when I got up it was already 6 in the evening and my mom was gone. I went to the bathroom and washed my face. My eyes were red from all the crying.

I put on a pair of denim shorts and black spaghetti strap top tucking it into my shorts and wore black high heel boots. I took my mobile and headed out. I got into my car and drove to a club.

I ordered a drink and sipped it thinking of all the things in my life. People might think I'm overreacting or overthinking but when you've so much going on in your life what will you do?!

My stepmother who was brought to take care of me ended up torturing me and bullying me. I thought she was my mother but she can never take the place of my mom. Nobody can replace my mom.

"Hey, beautiful. Let's have some fun", a guy came and rubbed his hand on my thigh. I pushed him away. "Please leave me alone", I said. I really had no energy to argue with anyone.

"Woah! You know who I am? I'm the second son of Morris family. You're rejecting me?", he asked. "See. I'm really not in a mood. Just go away", I requested. "Baby, come with me and you'll get into the mood", he said seductively which just annoyed me.

"Please go away", I calmly said again. He held my wrist and started forcing me. I pushed him away. "Just stay away from me", I said and got up from my place moving away from him.

"Hey, why are you being so impulsive? It's normal to have fun. I'll give you money. Come with me", he said and started getting close. I moved back but suddenly bumped into something hard.

I turned to see a man in his twenties. He was really handsome with chocolatey eyes, straight and pointed nose followed by perfect lips. His light brown hairs looked really silky. He had sharp facial features and perfect jawline. His body was well built and one could see through those muscles that were bulging from his expensive suit. His scent hit my nose and I swear it was so captivating.

"Is this guy giving you a trouble?", his voice was deep and masculine. I nodded like a child. "Mr. Morris, let's talk about this with your family", he said looking at the guy who was just trying to take advantage of me.

"Mr.... Mr. Knight, please forgive me. I didn't knew she was with you. I will never look at her", the guy begged. "Take him and give him some special treatment", the man said and two bodyguards came and took the guy out.

"Thank you", I said to him in a low tone. "Thanking me for what, baby girl?", he asked with a smile. "Thank you for saving me", I said to him. His smile deepened. "You're welcome", he patted my head with his gloved hand.

"You're drunk, I'll drop you to your home", he said. I shook my head. "You don't wanna go home?", he asked. I shook my head. "Then?", he asked. I looked down. I didn't wanna go to that place. Auntie will marry me off to someone who will beat me like she does.

"I'll stay here", I said lowly. "Stay here?", he asked. I nodded. "Okay, I'll stay too as I was here to have some drink", he said. I ordered drinks and kept drinking until I couldn't take it anymore.

Daisy's POV:

I sat up on my bed with my head bursting with the headache. I drank too much last night and passed out. Wait, if I passed out then how did I come home?

I looked around to find an unfamiliar surrounding. I looked down to find my clothes changed too. "You're awake", a voice came from the door almost startling me to death. I saw a guy coming towards me.

"Who are you? Where am I?", I asked him. "Baby girl, is this the way you talk to someone who saved you?", the guy asked. I gave him a confused look. He came forward and stood in front of me.

"Last night, you drank too much and then I saved you from being taken advantage of then you drank too much and passed out. Since you said you didn't wanna go home so I brought you here at my Mansion", he said with a smile.

"Thank you for saving me", I said as I roughly remembered some part. "May I know your name?", I asked. "Xavier Knight", he said. Oh, so he's Xavier Knight.

Knights are the most prestigious family in the world and the richest. They have business in almost every sector. This man is the eldest son and the CEO of Knight Groups. He's known for his cruelty and ruthlessness. I also heard that they are related to the underworld.

"Don't be afraid, baby girl. I won't hurt you", he said pulling me out of my thoughts. "Once again thank you, Mr. Knight", I said politely. He smiled and bent down to my eye level.

"Baby girl, you were arrogant a while ago and now you're so polite. I'm afraid I need to discipline you a bit", he said in a seductive tone. I blinked a few times before speaking as I realized what he said.

"You're shameless just like that guy. No difference. You all think that you can use a girl? In your dreams. I wasn't in a mood to argue last night so I agreed to take your help. You think you can take advantage of me?", I yelled.

"Baby girl, I helped you. I'm not here to take advantage of you. If I wanted then I could have done that long time ago", he said and stood straight. I thought for a while and he was right. He could have taken advantage of me last night but he didn't.

"I'm sorry", I felt guilty. "Its okay, baby girl. We have the lifetime to discipline", he said and patted my head. Before I could think what he actually meant, he spoke. "I'll have someone to bring you your clothes."

He walked out of the room. I showered and put on the clothes he send for me. It was a light blue bodycon dress that ended around my mid thigh and matching heels. I let my wavy hairs flow down.

I went downstairs. The maids took me to the dining table where Xavier sat like a King wearing beige three piece suit. His hairs styled properly backwards making his hairs look fluffy. He looked devilishly handsome.

"Sit, baby girl", he said. I sat across him on the first chair. Suddenly, I felt someone moving on my ankle. I looked down to see a Tiger resting around my feet. I looked up and then down again as I realized it was a tiger.

I screamed. "Ah!!! There's a Tiger", I jumped and pulled my legs up to protect myself. "It won't harm you. Dan, don't scare our guest", Xavier said and the tiger moved away. How can someone have have Tiger as a pet?!

I slowly calmed as the tiger moved away. "Tell me, why you didn't wanted to go home last night?", Xavier asked. "Can I decline to answer?", I asked slowly. He nodded. I sighed.

"Baby girl, do you think I'll not recognize the first daughter of the Evans?", he asked. I looked up at him to find him smiling. "Since you know who I am then why didn't you send me home last night?", I asked him.

"Because you were sad. When I mentioned home, you seemed to be lost. When you were drunk you were calling out for your mom", he said. I looked down not wanting to say anything.

We had our breakfast in silence. "You wanna go home now?", he asked slowly. I shook my head. He sighed. "If I go home, auntie will marry me off to someone who will beat me", I said in an almost inaudible voice.

"Why will she do that?", he asked. I could feel a bit strain in his voice as if he was angry. "She wants me to step aside so that my step sister will be the next heir", I explained to him honestly. I don't know why but I felt as if I wanted him to know. I felt as if only he can protect me.

"Marry me", he said. I looked at him in shock. "Your stepmother wants to marry you off to some who is not capable and will treat you badly. You can marry me then you can revenge on her for everything she did. I'll not take advantage of you in any way. You can rest assure."

"Why... why do you want to help me?", I asked looking into his eyes. "Because baby girl, you are the first one to scold me", he chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll protect you from everyone. Only I can bully you and not else is allowed", he bent down and kissed on my cheek.

I blushed. "Shall we go get married?", he asked. I widened my eyes. Are we getting married now? "Yes, babygirl. We will marry now", he answered as if he read my mind.

We went to the registration office and registered our marriage. Woah! I'm married now. Like seriously?! I met this man last night and now I'm married to him. Like wow!! We discussed this thing an hour ago and now we are married.

"My little wife, congratulations on our married life", Xavier said and pecked on my lips catching me off guard. I blushed. He chuckled, "You know you look so cute when you blush. Like a little kitten."

I glared at him. He laughed. "Shall we go to your family and tell them about our happy married life?", he asked and I nodded. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him as we walked to his car.

We reached my Villa. "This is all my fault. I should have disciplined her properly. It's because I pampered her so much." I heard auntie's voice coming from the Villa and frowned.

I and Xavier walked in to find my dad calling someone and asking them to find me as soon as possible. "Dad", I called out. He turned and saw me as he came rushing towards me.

"Princess, you okay?", he asked and I nodded. He looked beside me. "Mr. Knight..." Xavier gave a stern smile which would make anyone shiver in fear.

We walked inside in the living room. "Where were you last night?", auntie asked. I looked at her and then at Stella who was looking at Xavier flirtatiously. I frowned.

How dare she look at my man like that? He is my husband. Only I can look at him like that. Isn't she good with her so called boyfriends? Wait... why am I being like this? We just met last night and got married a while ago. Why am I being jealous?!

I looked at the man beside me. His face was cold and terrifying. Anyone would be scared to death looking at his face. It was the whole opposite to what looks he gives me. He looked at me and smiled warmly. A smiled appeared on my face too. This man makes me feel safe so much.

"Dad, last night, I....", I didn't know what to say or how to explain. "Actually, she got into an incident and couldn't come home last night", Xavier helped me. I sighed silently.

"Are you okay? Where are you hurt?", dad started checking for the injuries. "Dad, I'm fine. It was a small incident", I assured him. When he couldn't find any injury other than the ones from the last time he was relieved.

"Thank you for taking care of her, Mr Knight", dad said politely. Xavier gave a small smile. "Dad, I wanna say something", I spoke slowly. "What is it?", dad asked. I took a deep breath.

"I and Xavier are married. We were in a relationship for quite a long time and then when it was decided that I'll be married off, I went to him and we got married", I confidently said.

I heard many gasps from everyone. "Daisy, you don't have to lie to us. I know that you don't want to get married at such young age but it's for your own good. I and your dad won't live much as we are getting older. You don't have to lie", auntie said. I frowned.

Before I could say something, Xavier spoke. "She isn't lying. We are married." His voice was as cold as the ice. I could see anger and jealousy in Stella's and auntie's eyes.

"Are you happy with your decision?", dad asked.

Am I happy? Well, maybe yes. This man beside me makes me feel safe and secure around him. I don't know if I love him or not as we just met a night back but I'm sure I like him a bit. He makes me feel protected and safe around him. It's as if he will not allow anyone or anything harm me. He will protect me from all the cruel things around.

"Yes, daddy. I'm happy", I smiled as I held Xavier's hand. It felt warm around him. Even though he seems to be cold to everyone for me he's the man who will protect me no matter what.

"Then I'm happy", dad said with a smile and patted my head. I looked at Stella and her mom. Did they think that they would just send me away to someone to make my life hell?! Well no. The Devil is by my side.

I'll make them all pay for everything they did to me in the past. Auntie wants my dad's money, right? I'll make sure she's penniless and begs me. I'll make them pay for throwing my mom's things.
