Bucky walked into the main room of the Avengers compound

"Tony when is the new person coming in?"

"You were talking about a new "candidate" or something?"
Tony Stark
"Oh her! Natasha will be leaving around 2 to go meet her.
Tony Stark
"If she seems trustworthy she will come back with Nat."
Bucky Barnes
"Alright. Do we know about her powers?"
Tony Stark
"No. We know nothing about her. The government didn't even know she existed. All we know is she is incredibly strong. Your level of strength to be more precise."
Bucky Barnes
"Holy sh!t. This better be good."
Bucky took the stairs down to the lab where Bruce was studying a blood sample and sat down in the corner, pulling his phone out and beginning to read

"Not gonna talk? Just gonna sit in my lab?"

"Why exactly are you down here?"
Bucky Barnes
"Because Steve only comes down here when it's genuinely important."
Bruce Banner
"And why are you avoiding your best friend?"

"He won't stop talking about his new watch."

"Makes sense."
Bruce returned to his blood sample, leaving Bucky to read in silence
Natasha grabbed her sunglasses off the bar

"I'm leaving to go meet this girl!" She yelled

"Tony what is her name!"
Tony was right behind her, unimpressed with her yelling

"Solas. I don't know her last name."
Natasha Romanoff
"Alright, don't let James and Steve burn the place down."
Natasha walked out into the garage and hopped into a flashy, maroon corvette
pulling out of the compound she drove about 20 minutes north to a small coffee shop

She sat at a table outside the shop and waited
Before long a fit, muscular woman with striking red hair and ocean deep blue eyes turned the corner and sat down in front of Natasha

"Y-yes." *clears her throat* "Yes, that's me."

"You're alright. Now, you have some questions for me I presume?"

"Yes. What is your last name and why does the government have no record of you?"

"Getting dirty right off the bat, alright. My last name is Stark and the government has no record of me because I was taken as a baby... by Hydra."
Natasha Romanoff
"Be for real. If you want to be an Avenger you can't lie your way in."
Dakoda glared at Natasha for a moment

"I wish I was lying."

"Tony, Tony Starks baby was kidnapped from his house as a baby..."

"Moving forward. Date of birth?"

"June 24th of the year 2000."

"Are you serious?"

"Okay, so you're 22. What are your powers and what is your superhuman name?"
Solas Stark
"I am "The Winter Soldier 2.0" and my powers are super strength, super speed, blood manipulation, and psychokinesis. I also have a titanium arm. I don't remember what happened to my arm."
Natasha Romanoff
"Wow... okay. Why did you come to us if you were with Hydra?"
Solas Stark
"Because the excruciating pain of your brain being washed because you didn't do what you were told repeatedly got tiring. Especially when you were told to murder millions of innocent lives and couldn't refuse."
Natasha Romanoff
"Come with me."
Natasha got up and hurried to the car
Solas Stark
"Is that your way of saying I got the job?"
Solas got up quickly running after Nat, who got into the corvette, Solas close behind
Natasha Romanoff
"Darling, please hush a minute."
Natasha put her foot on the gas and rushed off towards the compound
Solas's eyes shifted from the window and the speedometer

💭"What on Earth is the rush?
Nat pulled to a stop in front of the gates and scanned her card, going inside and parking
Natasha Romanoff
"Follow me and whatever you do don't let the guy with the metal arm see yours."
Solas followed swiftly behind in silence

"Tony!" Natasha yelled urgently, "Meeting room right f^cklng now!"
Bucky ran up from the lab and looked at Solas, unable to see her arm due to her coat and fashionable gloves

💭"Holy sh!t she's hot"

"As if Bucky."
Wanda elbowed Bucky playfully as she stood beside him, admiring Solas

"Whatever. I'm going back down to the lab."
Bucky went back down the stairs as Nat and Solas walked off to the meeting room, Tony close behind
Tony closed the door and sat down in front of them
Tony Stark
"I would ask if something was wrong but you wouldn't have brought her here. What's so urgent?"
Natasha Romanoff
"When was your daughter born?"
Tony Stark
"June 24th of the year 2000... Why are we speaking of her right now?"
Nat watched Solas's facial expressions closely
Natasha Romanoff
"When was she taken?"
Tony Stark
"Just a couple months after her birth. Natasha you know these things. What is this about?"
Natasha Romanoff
"Meet Solas Stark. She was born on June 24th of the year 2000 and taken, by Hydra, as a baby."
Tony Stark
"My daughter has been completely off the radar missing for 22 years Natasha. She's not coming back."
Natasha Romanoff
"Can we just run some blood tests? She could be... I mean just look at her!"
Tony Stark
"Fine, and her powers?"
Natasha Romanoff
"She'd be a perfect Avenger."
Tony Stark
"Welcome to the team then kid. Natasha will show you to your room."
Tony left and went down to the lab
Bucky Barnes
"What was with all that?"
Tony Stark
"Nat thinks that girl is my daughter."
Tony Stark
"Her last name is Stark, born the same day, taken roughly the same time, she looks like Pepper too... but Hydra got to her. Bruce, Natasha asked to do blood tests so if you wouldn't mind, would you?"
Bucky shot up off the ground
Bruce Banner
"Yes sir, I can. I just need your arm."
Bruce grabbed a few supplies
Bucky Barnes
"Wait a d@mn minute! Hydra? Like the Hydra that had me for ninety years, and you trust her inside the compound? What if Hydra still has her in their control!?"
Bruce Banner
"I'll run tests for that too then."
Bruce tried to assure Bucky but he didn't seem too convinced
Tony Stark
"It's settled. If Hydra still has her we will figure out a safe way to settle things."
Tony gave his arm to Bruce and he drew the blood he needed before letting Tony leave

💭"And if by some miraculous miracle that woman is my baby girl I am never letting her go."
Wanda Maximoff
"You don't really think.."
Tony Stark
"Wanda! Keep that to yourself!" Tony hissed
Bruce Banner
"Buck don't fret. I'm sure everything will be fine."
Bucky walked back up and towards his bedroom
Solas and Nat were talking in front of Bucky's room as he came near
Bucky Barnes
"Why are you two in front of my room?"
Natasha Romanoff
"Because Solas's room is in front of yours. Celebratory dinner at 8pm Bucky. Don't miss it this time."
Bucky Barnes
"Yeah, alright."
Bucky went into his room, closing the door

"Anyways, let's go get your blood drawn so they can hurry up and get these tests running along."
Solas Stark
"Alright. All my clothes are at my apartment. Will I get a chance to grab those?"
Natasha and Solas were walking towards the lab

"Uh... yeah! I'll get Yelena to take you down but I have training soon."
Steve, Thor, and Loki paused their conversation about Steve's watch as the girls walked by
Steve Rogers
💭"Thor's gonna be all over this one. I think a lot of us are to be fair..."
Bruce looked up from his equipment as Nat and Solas reached the doorway

"If it isn't our newest Avenger!"
Solas chuckled and Nat looked back smiling at Solas

"It is! Stab me with a needle already please."
Bruce Banner
"Sure thing. I'm Bruce."
Bruce grabbed his supplies and drew Solas's blood quickly

Solas, nice to meet you Bruce."

"Nice to meet you too. Let me get these tests started! I should have them done before dinner."

"Sounds good!"
Nat and Solas went back upstairs

"Sorry. Let me grab my gun and we'll be on our way."

Yelena went upstairs and grabbed her gun, coming back down and going out the door, Solas behind her

They got out of Yelena's hummer
Yelena was the only person that ever drove the hummer but she loved it
Going into the apartment it was completely cluttered and entirely too small for any normal person to live in. It had a tiny kitchenette in the corner, and barely enough space for the bed and a TV, alongside a bathroom the size of a small walk in closet.

"Oh yeah. So much better than your room!

"Yelena zip it. I've called it home since my escape. It's better than chains and never ending walls."

"You do have a point. Grab what you need. Plenty of space in the truck for extra stuff."
Solas got to work packing all her clothes into a large suitcase and brought it down to the hummer, coming back up

"Two more things, and we can go."
Yelena Belova
"Take your time. No rush."
She walked over to the nightstand, picking up a small picture frame and a small plant beside it

"What's with the picture?"

"I had a friend back in Hydra. I called him Jamie. We convinced one of the guys in that rotten place to let us take a picture together and print it for both of us."

"Is Jamie still back there?"
Solas Stark
"No. He escaped years ago."

"Didn't come back for you?"
Yelena Belova
"I- I'm sorry Solas."
Yelena nodded and headed out the door, Solas close behind

"I'll call my landlord and tell him I'm moving tomorrow. I don't want to worry about it today."
Yelena started the truck and started driving back to the compound

"Why did they chose you? What's so special besides super strength? We've got plenty of super strengths."
Solas Stark
"Well choose your pick. Titanium arm, telekinesis, blood manipulation, super speed, or super strength. Any part could've been it."
Yelena Belova
"Tit- Titanium arm you said?"
Yelena Belova
"Winter Soldier 2.0... Titanium arm...f^ck."
Solas Stark
"What's wrong?"
Yelena Belova
"Show me that picture."
Solas hesitantly showed her the photo

"You know him? Where is he?! Can I see him?! Please?"

"But I didn't see my Jamie."

Yelena rolled down her window and scanned her card, pulling into the garage and going inside

"Yelena, what do you mean different? Where is he?"
Solas was rolling her suitcase behind her while Yelena carried her plant and photo

"He went through a lot of therapy and he's a completely different person now."
Solas Stark
"Can I still see him?"
Yelena opened Solas's bedroom door, letting her go in first, and then setting the plant down on the dresser alongside the plant

"If you insist, but unpack your clothes first."
Yelena left, closing the door softly behind her
A few minutes after Solas finished putting her clothes in the closet and dresser Bruce knocked on the door

"Can I come in?"
Bruce came inside, Tony and Pepper close behind

Solas... meet your parents."
Solas couldn't help but laugh hesitantly
Tony Stark
"He's being serious... you're our daughter."
Pepper Potts
"Hello darling. God you don't know how many years we searched for you. Can I hug you?"
Solas Stark
"Yes, you can."
As Pepper wrapped her arms tightly around Solas, she signaled Tony with her hand and Tony joined in on the hug too
Solas began to cry as well
Solas Stark
"I never thought I would ever find you guys."
Solas Stark
"I thought Hydra killed my parents."
Tony Stark
"We're right here... and we're never going to let anyone take you from us again."
They all pulled away and Solas looked at Bruce

"Thank you Bruce. Hug?"
Bruce opened his arms and Solas planted herself into his chest

"Thank you so much."
Solas pulled away and smiled at Bruce

"We have to go get ready for dinner. I'll see you there, daughter."

"See you there Tony."
Pepper patted Solas's shoulder before wiping a tear and leaving the room

There was another knock at the door

"Solas! You wanted to talk to your friend, come on!"
Solas perked up and ran towards the door

"Sh!t... she didn't even recognize me man.. given I didn't either." Bucky whispered

Yelena and Solas entered the room, Bucky and Solas's eyes immediately locking

"It's really you...I thought I was hallucinating! It's been 7 years and you haven't changed a bit.."

"It's been 7 years and you're a completely different person!"

"Jamie I can't believe it's you!"
Solas lunged at Bucky, wrapping her arms around him

"Ow! What the hell? You got a gun on your wrist or something?"

"Natasha said not to let you know about this but it's not a gun. It's an arm..."
Solas looked back at Yelena for approval and she nodded
Solas took her jacket and gloves off, revealing her arm

"You were the original Winter Soldier, weren't you?

"I'm the Winter Soldier 2.0"

"Well, that's our past, we have to find you a better name."

"It's fine. I'm sorry I didn't find you… I had to lie low. You know how Hydra is."

"Indeed and I'm not upset. I should have tried to get you out!"

"I knew you couldn't. I'm glad you didn't. You could have gotten hurt."

"Would you like to sit next to me for dinner?"

"Yea, that'd be great. It's so good to see you and it's even better that I'll be seeing you regularly."

Sam had come in to find his phone as they said this and then left as soon as he grabbed it

All 4 of them came out to the dining room, Wanda sitting down beside Vision, Natasha and Yelena sitting beside eachother, and Solas hesitantly sitting beside Bucky

Solas stood up, pulling her dress down

"Hello, I am Solas Stark. I am the Winter Soldier 2.0. I hope that I can be of use to the team."

Everyone paused for a minute as Pepper smiled

T'Challa laughed as Nick sat down and everyone started getting their food
Solas grabbed a roll and a little corn

"Not hungry? You've been here all day."

"I don't eat much."

Steve's head turned in Bucky's direction

"Rogers mind your business. Let it flourish."

"Stop reading everyone's mind!" Steve hissed

Everyone continued eating and conversing between eachother and eventually everyone cleaned up the table and most went out to the main room to celebrate

"Would you like a drink?"

"Only in my room."

"Then let's go."
Bucky Barnes
"But what about everyone else?"
Solas Stark
"Eh, they can talk to me tomorrow."
Bucky laughed and they both went upstairs to Bucky's room

"Darn I really thought your room would be messy."
Bucky Barnes
"Nope. It's always clean."

"Good. Nobody likes a messy man. You still single?"
Bucky turned towards the cabinet and poured them both a glass of rum

"I have someone in mind but they'll never go anywhere."

"What so you're just gonna stay single forever?"

"If I can't have them, then yeah."

"Well who is it?"

"Don't worry about that."

"They gave me the super serum when I was 6 and it made me fully mature."

"We're just disregarding that?"
