Headquarter of military investigation department stood high and mighty like always. It would make people feel mysterious for no reason.

Sato Hikari , who had always felt a motivational vibe upon entering it , felt something off .

Isn't the atmosphere unusual today ? She asked Takahashi Kaen walking along side her .

They were summoned by their superior and thus were hurriedly walking as the Cold Devil hated people being late .

" I think so too. maybe something bad is going to happen. " He winked at her .

She immediately got agitated. whenever , she would ask him the same question and he replied with " maybe something bad is going to happen , something real bad would happen to her .

"You are doing this on purpose , aren't you ?" She tried to grab his hair but he dodged.

"If I say yes , what are you going to do ? "

He stuck out his tongue and ran off.

"Takahashi !! "She enunciated his name , grinding her teeth .

* Hoho , that might be a good idea * after devising a revenge plan , she followed after him into the building.

She was greeted by several colleagues as she headed into the office of Cold Devil.

She knocked on the door and upon permission entered .

Takahashi was sitting there already. She passed a mischievous smile to him , leaving him dumbfounded.

* wasn't she mad , why is she smiling . I bet this smile has some hidden agenda behind it. * He shivered.

After smiling at Takahashi , she greeted Cold Devil . The Cold Devil expression was clearly not good. She looked at the watch .

* Is he mad at me for being late . But I'm right on time . it's this Takahashi doing. Had he not mess with me , I would have also...*

" MISS SATO "

Her train of thoughts was interrupted by the loud roar of Cold Devil.

" Yes , Sir "

"Are you going to stand there for eternity ? wasn't being late enough that you are wasting our precious time like this ?"

"Sorry , Sir" .

She apologized quickly and took a seat next to Takahashi. Takahashi snickered at her .

* This man , I swear he is gonna be killed by my hands one day. *

She composed herself and a acted like she didn't care.

Takahashi was surprised . * This girl , is she alright ?*

Both looked towards the Cold Devil . He took out some documents from the drawer and place it on top of the table .

* A new mission but where are the others ?* both of them looked towards one another .

"This is your new mission.

"A+ Collectors"

This a name not new to you , is it ?"

Cold Devil asked both of them who had been surprised .

"No , it isn't . But wasn't this mission under the direct control of Government. It's a super confidential information and spies like us were not allowed to have anything to do with it. "

Takahashi questioned with a serious face.

"You are right . This terrorist group is so frightening that Government decided to not bother them ."

"But it has been active recently . It threatened peace and authority of Government several times and they can't overlook them anymore.

The military forces and our Department are to cooperate on this mission. "

" Your team has been divided into groups according to the strategy planned by the higher ups. Two of you have been sent to US and are currently working on the mission. Mr Takahashi will go to China and Miss Sato will be here , disguised as a boy . You will gather any information related to them . Trace any potential signs left by them and don't do anything reckless if you do find out something. Military forces will take it from there . "

" Am I clear ? " He sought approval of them.

"Yes , we are clear , Sir. "

"we are divided into groups because of the signs left by the gang, right !"

"You are right , the US , China and Japan are guessed to be the places where they can hide according to the deduction from their traces and deeds." He seemed proud of his subordinates intelligence.

"For information on A+ Collectors , read this file . It contain basic information about their deeds until now. It isn't much but can be

helpful " He added .

"Any questions ?"

Hikari raised her hand .

" I have a question ."

On the gesture of Cold Devil to continue , she added ,

" Sir , do I have to disguise as a boy for this mission. ?

" Yes , you will disguise as a boy , live with a host family and carry out your mission. That reminds me , ask Mr Suzuki to hand you over the list of host families. You can choose from them ."

"Sir , are you really telling me to disguise ?"

She asked the question several times to remove any doubts .

"Is there a problem with you disguising ? "

Mr Tanaka clearly looked annoyed . It can be guessed from his face.

* Was she this much annoying from the start or am I seeing it for the first time. wasn't she the person to receive orders without any questions. But now her affinity for query want me to beat her...

Now I can't do that right . I must control myself . I am the respectable Head of military investigation Department . I can't lose my temper over a kid who had been on duty for just few years. *

"Are you teaching me now what is right and wrong. Haven't you done the same for years ?" His patience limit was tested by her again and again.

She couldn't refute what he said . Disguise was a common talk for spies like her. Thus meekly replied .

"Well, I had but I didn't change my gender back then. you are now telling me to act like a boy. "

" can't you do it ? "He asked .

"I can but why bother disguise when there are already boys here . Takahashi and I can switch places . "

Takahashi nodded at her idea . * I can also visit my girlfriend often. You are sometime useful , Hikari.*

Mr Tanaka looked at both of them in annoyance .

"There are some circumstances , so you can't."

" And what that might be ?" She was curious.

Snap , his face distorted and he errupted like a volcano.

" Am I answerable to you now. If you are incapable of doing that , you might as well quit. You aren't of much help anyway. You mess up every mission and are a burden to your teammates. I don't need people like you here ....."

He would have continued if Takahashi hadn't apologized.

He bowed and drag her away.

Mr Tanaka sighed and drank glass of water in one go. He sat down on his expensive armchair .

Mr Tanaka rested on his armchair with head on back of chair. He was a dignified man of healthy build . Despite being in his forties, he still had same passion and zeal. His facial expression were always poker thus Haruki and the others always called him Cold Devil behind his back. According to them, he could freeze them with his gaze . He always was in bad mood , hadn't smiled or talked nicely to any of them.

The girls passing by saw a tall boy with black hair , dressed in casual dress acting cute to his girlfriend.

Takahashi was overjoyed with the arrival of the girls. They were cute and dressed accordingly. maybe they were headed to somewhere important. He wanted to have some fun before heading to China .

The girls were likewise happy over his positive response . the blushed girl walked over to him and hugged him.

She smiled at him which send shocks of electricity throughout his body. He quickly checked his pockets but they had no Trace of his wallet.

..." Give it back , you cunning fox. " He tried to snatch it from her hands but she evaded ....

..." No will do . You are so naive my friend . Now a days no one carry cash with them except you. " Hikari copied the daintiness of the girl they meet earlier....

She knew he didn't like to pay through cards and carried money for personal use . It was his weakness and she planned to take advantage of it . This was her revenge plan.

Takahashi looked like the person who has lost all his belongings to a storm and left with the only clothes he had on his body.

..." Let's go . " Hikari was happy. It was time for her revenge. Takahashi looked haggard ....

They entered the restaurant and seated near the window. Hikari ordered almost everything listed on the menu . The wrinkles on Takahashi face grew in number with each order. The food was expensive itself . looking at her , ordering everything would result in a hefty bill for sure.

..." Are you hungry from ages ?" He asked her impatiently ....

" You can say so " Her reply made him angry.

" Now , now don't be angry and enjoy the food as food is the best medicine for sorrow. It is also brought by your money so you can double enjoy it . " She was not affected at all by the missiles of glares been projected at her.

..."As expected of a restaurant with high star rating , the food was simply delicious. "...

She complimented the food as they asked for the bill. Takahashi took the bill with shivering hands and the amount written on it made his soul fly away. He paid the bill and when taking the amount from his wallet , it was similar to his life being sucked out of him. . He felt his weight decrease by several Kg .

...*My precious hard earned money . Don't worry , i will avenge you for sure . *...

He cried inwardly , eating away his heart in sorrow.

Looking at his state, Hikari felt satisfaction in her heart .

...* he won't mess with me anymore, and if he wanted to , he will give it a thought over thousands of times.*...

Takahashi guessed her thoughts and also promised to do the same in his heart.

Hikari glanced at Takahashi . He was paying the bill. She exited the restaurant and examined the surrounding while waiting for him sitting in the chair that were put outside the restaurant for receiving customers who liked to eat in open air. It was a fine day and there was crowd outside.

A little boy running frantically tripped and landed on the floor , straight on his face . She quickly moved over to him. His nose had started bleeding and his knees were scratched . The loud brawls of the boy , made her deaf for a moment. She examined his wounds . They were nothing serious.

She hugged and patted the little boy to make him calm ,then asked a nearby waiter for some tissues and bandages which were quickly passed to her. She wiped the nose of the boy and put bandages on his scratches.

..." There , that should do it " She smiled and took the boy in arms....

..." Men don't cry over small injuries. Are you not a real man ?" She engaged the boy in conversation to divert his attention....

..." Do men not feel pain ?" He asked her ....

He was unhappy over the fact of not being a real man as he was feeling pain right now and crying which were not the characteristics of a men.

..." No , they do but they don't make a fuss of it. . "...

...She looked amused by the kid question to justify himself for being a real man....

Thus ruffled his hair .

...* How soft , just like a cotton candy. smell nice too. I wish I can do it everyday. *...

He shoved her hand away and puffed his cheeks like a hamster in unhappiness.

Takahashi paying the bill , looked over . He found Hikari hugging a boy over 5 years old. He was dressed nicely in an expensive suit , giving aura of a serious gentlemen .

He sighed and walked over to them.

Hikari turned around at her name . Seeing Takahashi , she walked up to him in no time.

Passerby hear her exciting voice and looked at them. They found a heartwarming scene , a cute boy with puffed cheeks in arms of a girl . The girl wore formal attire , her hair erected in a bun . Even with no makeup on , her face glowed and with the gentle smile on her face , she was simply stunning. They blushed at her sight .

...*This girl , she calls me a flirt . Look at her now , stealing hearts of people without knowing. Such innocence , I clearly am no match for her .* Takahashi thought ....

He glared fiercely at the blushing faces and put his arm around her shoulder. They coward off to their destination hurriedly.

She was still busy with the kid , unaware of what happened.

...He saw the annoyed expression of the boy and asked her carelessly. The kid clearly didn't like being treated like a child....

She asked the kid . Takahashi was astonished by her quick agreement.
