"So, you're really facing me here", talks an evil voice. "Yeah, I told you it would come like this someday", returns the soft voice of a nice boy. The evil one is just smirking, "You're telling too much throughout the day. I had no clue if you were serious or not". To the surprise of the evil one, the response from the nice person is also a smirk, "Hah - You're right! Maybe I'm saying a lot of things, maybe a lot of things didn't turn out as I planned, but you know, when something is really important to me.. Then I'm never lying". "Quit babbling around, I can't stand your bullshit, talk as much as you want", the evil person is getting pretty annoyed. It seems like things are getting serious now, the nice person is just smirking nicely, "Hah, if you say so. Either way, we're not here for talking, we're here to clear things up for once and all!" Oh, so you're really here to fight against me, I feel honored, I thought you are here to ask for forgiveness", the evil guy is making himself ready. "Quit with your damn jokes! Even in this kind of situation you're not really caring at all!", returns the nice person with a serious tone. The evil one is just smirking again, "Well then, come and get me". Both of them are getting ready for the fight never seen before. Both of them are running towards each other. Now is the time, both of them are shouting the same thing as they prepare for the end, "You will be the one, WHO'S DYING RIGHT HERE".

-- But well, before we start our story here, lets jump back a few years into the past to a quiet and peaceful place. --

"Oh man, it's so boring today..", talks Yoru. Yoru is the main character of this story. He's 19 years old, 1,90m. big with green eyes and brown hair - we'll come back to his character a little later. "Well, what did you expect to happen?", returnd Megan as a question. Megan is Yoru's best friend, he's just 1,75m. and has dark brown hairs, green eyes and glasses. Many people say that he's kind of a weird guy but that's the thing why Yoru likes him so much because normal people are often too boring according to him. "I don't know.. Maybe a plane will crash somewhere while we're here to witness it", says Yoru while laughing. Megan is just watching him scepticaly, "Uhm, I doubt something like this will happen at quiet place like this". Right now, both friends are chilling at a small river near Yoru's home. Yoru is blushing because of the weird idea he just said, "Yea, I know. I just wanted to imagine some special stuff, to cheer things up a bit". Megan is starting his new sentance with an understandful tone, "Well I get what you mean but I don't think anything special will..", right at the moment where Megan is about to finish his sentence, both friends are seeing a big flying rock in the sky. Yoru is getting really big eyes because of his excitement, "A meteorite! A meteorite!". Megan on the other hand is just more than confused, "What the...". Yoru jumps into the air and starts partying himself, "Hah! See, I told ya'! I told ya' something big is going to happen! I never witnessed so much action in a long ti.."

- Yoru awakes inside of his bed -

He's fully dressed and is just lying ontop of his blanket. "Ah man, this kind of weird dream again. They happen to appear a lot more recently", he moans with a bored and tired voice. "Man, I wish I was still asleep without waking up, it was getting so interesting now. It's been a long time since I had so much fun". Right now he's just looking at his ceiling. -- Well, now we have more time for Yoru's character.

He lives at a place with his mom and her boyfriend but he is alone most of the time in terms of meeting people or making new friends. He's pretty isolated and doesn't like to talk very much. Yes - his best friend Megan is infact real but he doesn't live near Yoru for years now, the place in Your's dream was his old place when he was still at school which he absolved 3 years ago.

-- Yoru is pretty annoyed atat this situation now, "Oh man, what am I supposed to do now? The day isn't even half over yet and there is still nothing I could do. He's looking around at his room and spots his gaming console. "Well, I could play some games now but what for? At the end I'm still feeling as bad as now". He continues looking around his room, right as he sees his chair and drawing utils. "What about some drawing time now? I always loved drawing stuff. But nah, I know that I'm gonna' hate my drawing at the end so I can just leave it be.." He's thinking about everything he could possibly do but he is still getting no idea. Finally he's making up his mind. "Well, if it continues being like this now, I can also just go outside and think about my life. Looks like I was outside earlier but I forgot what I just did then, maybe it's because I slept too much. Either way, I think some fresh air will cheer up my brain... well, at least I hope so." He's getting out of his bed and is heading towards the stairs to go down. "Good thing I'm still fully dressed, so I don't need to waste any time putting on my clothes". Just as he's heading towards the outside he realises that he is completely alone at home. "Huh? Where is my mom? Where could she be at a time like this without telling me something? This is strange, normally she says something":

--- Ending of Chapter 1 ---

"Where could she be at a time like this without telling me something? This is strange, normally she says something" , he asks himself. "Well, maybe she had to go somewhere and didn't have the time to tell me. At least this is a possibility". Covered in warm clothes, Yoru is heading towards the exit of his property to go for a little walk. "Uhm, so.. where should I even go? There's nothing special in this town where I could go. Everything is so bland and monotonous. " Yoru lives in a small town with many industrial buildings, but he doesn't care about them, he just likes to enjoy the quiet places. "Well, I could take a walk inside the forest.. again. It's just the fact that I was there at least 1000 times, but hey, I have nothing to lose, so.." With this mindset, he is heading toward the forest, which is a few hundred meters away from his home. "Maybe I should think about where I want to apply and work in the next few days or weeks. If I'm just staying at home, mom will probably be mad at me. But I don't have a damn clue what I should do. What if I don't find anything and end up getting kicked out of home?  What if everyone I apply to rejects me? What if I find something I don't enjoy and still have to work there forever? What if—" > Self-Doubt< - he is getting interrupted by a voice. "Huh? Who was that? Who said that?" Yoru is looking around him to find the place where the voice came from, but he doesn't see anybody. "Oh man, now I'm starting to hear voices too.. and that in the middle of a forest where nobody besides me is hanging around. Well, that's really a bit creepy". With an uneasy feeling, Yoru continued making his way through the forest, but he's getting distracted by animal sounds and singing birds pretty fast.

A little while later, he's getting out of the forest. "Phew, I finally made it out of there. I never thought that a bit of fresh air could clear up thoughts that fast again. The problems flew together with the wind.. well, at least that is what it felt like". And so Yoru continues, heading back to home again. Right as he's about to turn onto a small path, a boy interrupts him. "Hey you", the stranger shouts. With a confused glance, Yoru is just looking at him. "Yea, I'm talking to you! I know this is a bit sudden. I saw you walking alone in town for a little while now and I thought 'Hey, maybe I should talk to that guy'!", the stranger continues with a happy tone. Yoru starts looking serious, "Hm? Me? Could you maybe tell me who I'm even talking to?" "Uhm, yea, of course! My name is Sero, I moved to this place not too long ago. That's why I'm also alone most of the time.. So that's why I'm coming to you now, you know? To maybe build up a friendship", the stranger responds with a smile. Sero continues by giving him a piece of paper. Yoru is getting annoyed and confused, "Hey, what are you doing?" "Oh that.. that's just my number for the case you want to.." "I don't need any friends", Yoru interrupts him with a tone as cold as ice and continues heading towards home. Sero just sighs and heads off somewhere else.

Upon arriving home, Yoru realizes that his mother is still not there. "Oh, it looks like she's still not home. Well, I guess I'll stay alone for just a bit longer. He's heading toward his room up the stairs, puts on some cozy clothes, and lays down in his bed. He takes the piece of paper with the number out of his pocket and starts to crumple it up. "Friends.. duh.. Where do I need friends for? In the end you are only disappointed and left alone by them anyway". Yoru continues to think about something for a while, "Why am I always so serious?" "A few years ago I was happy about being with others, and now I'm just so serious. Maybe I should just give the others a chan-" > More Hate < - he's getting interrupted by the same voice from the forest again. Yoru jumps out of bed, "There it was again!" He's looking around in his room, a bit frightened. "Again, nothing is here. That voice, where did it come from?" He continues looking around but then gives up pretty quickly in finding anything. "Maybe it's just because I slept too much today or because my brain is still asleep or something like that". Slowly but surely, he's calming down. "Well, it's pretty late now, so it doesn't make any sense staying awake now even though I just slept a few ours ago. But I can't help it, I'm just so tired". Yoru puts the crumbled up paper on a little shelf next to his bed, "Well, maybe I'll need that thing tomorrow.." And just like that, Yoru falls asleep withing seconds because of how tired he is and so another day of his life ends. But before we continue here, let's go to a different location now, not far away from Yoru's home. "Have you met him?", a mysterious voice asks.

A mysterious voice asks, "Have you met him?". "Well, if you talk about meeting, that is, then I didn't, but I saw him in kind of a strange way", replies another voice of a young male. Both people are standing inside a dark room, conversing face-to-face, but it seems like it's impossible to see the faces of those two. "And? Have you noticed something strange about him?", the first mysterious person asks with a serious tone in his voice. After that question, it's quiet for a little moment. The second person is thinking of a good answer to give. "Well, I can't say exactly", he begins to talk, "But I've noticed some kind of strange aura with him, some kind of 'evil' aura to be precise, but I don't know how to describe it". "That's more than enough. Just as I expected.. I just hope things won't get out of control from this point on", the first mysterious person says with a thoughtful but more than serious tone. After that, it's quiet for a little while. Both people are just looking at each other. After 10 seconds, the mysterious person continues his sentence,"I want you to observe him even more to keep things safe". "I thought you would say that, so I made some preparations earlier to be as close to him as possible to always keep an eye on him", the second person replies with a smirk. "This is not a game, I hope you are aware of that! This can get pretty dangerous, so stop with your jokes!", the mysterious guy  says while getting slightly angry. "Well alright, if you say so. But you should know me well enough to tell that I'm always completing my missions perfectly", the second person replies. "Well, maybe you are right. I was just thinking about the worst-case scenario here," the mysterious person says, apologizing. Both people are looking at each other for a while again, until the second person decides to head to the exit."I guess things are clear then. I'll make sure that nothing happens and then let you know". He leaves the building, thinking about his next step with a smirk, "This guy.. I just hope everything will go smoothly with him". And just like this, his silhouette vanishes in the dark distance.

- But now, let's just fast-forward the time a bit. Today's date is March 15th, 2021 -

After a long but restless sleep, Yoru wakes up. "What, it's already 1:26 pm? How could I sleep that long", he grumbles while he's checking the time on his phone. That's another of Yoru's characteristics. Because of the fact he doesn't have a job, he doesn't have a time to rely on waking up. There are days when he sleeps even more without realizing it. "Well, most of the day is over by now and, with no surprise, I still don't have any idea what to do today". He continues by getting up, taking a warm and long shower, putting on some new fresh clothes, and then eats his breakfast - well at that point, it's more of his midday-lunch. This is his daily routine. While Yoru is eating, he meets his mother in the living room. He instantly has one question and asks it, "Where were you yesterday". His mother is looking at him confused, followed by her next sentence, "I told you, that I'm not at home until deep in the night". Yoru is more than confused, "No, I think you didn't tell me". "Yes I did. You were down here and I even asked you if I should bring something for you, but you just ignored me and went outside", she starts, "Well, I have to go now, I have an appointment like I told you last week. If something is wrong, you can call me". After that, both of them say goodbye to one another. Yoru's mother is getting inside her car and driving to her appointment. Yoru is just standing there, thoughtful, "What did she mean by that? I didn't see her yesterday. How could she have told me?". Then his thoughts slowly shift to another subject, "Well, maybe she just thinks she did, I don't know." As soon as Yoru is done with eating, he puts his stuff into the kitchen sink and heads towards his room upstairs. "Another day, another great question. What should I do now?" He sits down on his bed and looks through his room, there he notices the paper Sero gave him yesterday. "Right.. There was that thing..". He takes the small piece of paper and uncrumbles it together with his thoughts. "Hm, originally I wanted to throw away that thing, but maybe I should really -" >> Just leave it, you will never find any friends << -the, by now, well-known evil voice interrupts.
