* * * * * * * * * * * * * Today is really a bright day, but it can't get any worse, I'll go to work. my boss is such an annoying man he'll only make my day worse . And it's more annoying when I think about the long day I have ahead of me. But I must work.

My name is lily Norman, many people love to call me Lil. Am an orphan, I have no family, I grew up in an orphan. I now live in a small apartment in downtown of showhills.

I live with my roommate August. August Nuel, my friend, she's the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. she makes me feel like I have a sister and a mother in my life.

I met August when I was in the orphanage. we both had no parents but we have each other and we love each other so much like we were sisters. I do think know what I'll do without August .

Two years ago we became old enough to live on our own, August and I agreed to live together like we were a little family.

August and I decided to live in showhills. it's a big city with many people and so many jobs to do. But little did we know that in the city of showhills only the educated and the rich were able to get well paying jobs. People like August and I who never had no education and a wealthy family can only work I'm a coffee shop or as a maid in some wealthy mansion or a ********** in a brothel or even join the military. Towns like showhills is really meant for the wealthy. only they can live happily, without money issues.

sometimes I do think who am I? who are my parents? do I have a sister? or a brother? all this ugly questions in my head. the sisters told me I was found in front of the orphanage in a basket with a lily. so they called me Lilly.

in showhills I found myself working in a coffee shop. I have the Most annoying boss, he's a pervert. I do feel sick whenever I see him around.

August works in a big mansion. she's a good cook and a good cleaner too. She's really good at doing house chores.

Today is really a special day for me, and I know it's not a bad day either. It's my 20th birthday and I feel happy about it.

August and I decided to meet for my birthday celebration. since August came into my life my birthdays have always been special.

getting ready for work . As usual am supposed to be at work before 8am. I work really hard to live to showhills.

my phone rang, I took it out to see who was calling. The number looked unknown.

says a male voice
