"Welcome, welcome ", said the tall scary man with a creepy grin.

"You ten have been selected to stay at the haunted inn," he said while a sly smile grew across his face.

"You guys will face terrifying things and obstacles you will not be able to leave until you complete this," he adds with a smile

"And if any of you try to leave early we will send our hellhounds to hunt you down and kill you," he says

"Now follow me," he said while turning around and taking long strides down the rocky road

We all stood still for a minute until he turned around and looked at us with his dark eyes. One by one we followed him down the rocky road. Looking around this place is kinda creepy the trees look like they will swallow you up if you leave the road. The grass is dark and looks like there hasn't been rain here in ages.

"But how can that be because it just rained yesterday," I thought to myself quietly

The man finally came to a stop in front of this scary looking building. As I examined the building I saw that most of the windows were shattered. The door looked like it was barely hanging on the hinges. It looked to be four stories high, and it was a dull gray color.

" He expects us to stay here? This place hardly looks livable," I thought to myself

He walked to the front step and turned around with a big grin.

"I hope you enjoy your stay," he says walking to the door and swinging it open

I could just barely see dust come of the door when it was swung open. As we followed him into the building it was quiet; the only sound you could hear was the shuffling of feet walking on the tile floor.

" You guys will stay in this room," he says pointing at the only room without a broken window

"You don't really expect us to stay here do you ?" says the red haired boy standing to my right.

The man answered" your free to leave but keep in mind the consequence if you do, "

The red haired boy didn't say anything else after that. I studied the red haired boy closely. He has pale skin, freckles all over his face, and red curly hair. He glanced over and caught me staring, I turned my head away fast

"Something is not right with this place," I thought to myself

As we all entered the room we were staying in there were ten beds one for each of us. The beds were not big; only big enough for one person. As I sat my backpack on the bed it creaked.

"Man I wish I was back home in my little apartment," I thought

My apartment in New York wasnt big; It had white walls and a bathroom and a bedroom. It's better then this place . But back in reality I'm not in my apartment, I'm in a inn the hardly looks livable

now what I have already typed

     The Man standing in the doorway says " dinner is always served at five pm do not be late chief wont be happy if your late". " Have a goodnight," he says with a grin and disappears.

         I heard the others start whispering to eachother. Some of them headed out of the room to explore the place. I sat down and grabbed my notepad. I've been working on this case for a while now after my partner milo went missing. The last place people saw him was here . That's why I will say here as long as it takes untill I find out what happened to him .Milo has been missing for two months now and he had been working on the case of the ten teenagers who went missing last december. The last place anyone saw those teens was here at the Inn. So I have been sent on a special mission to figure out what strange things are happening at this Inn. And I hope it will finally put my mind to ease if i solve this and find out what happened to my partner.

I felt a slight tap on my shoulder and turned my head. Shocked, I saw the red haired boy standing there.

" Hi I'm james" he says holding out his hand.

Taking his hand I say " hi james it's nice to meet you I'm sarah".

"Nice to meet you Sarah" he says with a polite smile.

For another minute he stood there then he turned around and walked off. I grabbed my phone to see if I had missed any calls and it turns out there is no signal here.
