One fine evening, Jessica was returing home from work.

Jessica was living a normal life. She was simple and kind. She had just graduated and worked as an intern in a company.

Royce was the most influential man of the city. He was the CEO of the biggest Hamilton Group. He was cold and arrogant. He was allergic to woman. He didnot let them come in his personal space. No other woman except his mother had ever been close to him. She had died because of unending suffering. She was divorced by her husband and abandoned. He swore never to become a Man like his father. But when his mother left him alone, he became cold. His beautiful smile was gone. He became a living devil. He developed a feeling of hatred toward woman and thought them as clothes.

Royce was on his way when some assassins attacked him. Being the most successful man was not easy. There were many people who were after him. He had many enemies. He was in his car, when someone started shooting. He was experienced. He left the car and went into an isolated direction. There was an ending there. He waited for the men. He could fight well. He injured them and tried escapinh but someone stabbed him from the back. He punched that man and ran. He took to a narrow lane. There he saw a girl. He ran towards her and tried to fake kiss her. He could here the people coming towards them. But he felt pain and dizzy. He could no longer hold himself. He closed his eyes and fell on her.

Jess was astonished at the arrival of this strange man. She was going to shout but then the man fainted. She also some people eunning and shouting to find a man. She had no option other than tending to him. He was hurt. She took him to a hospital. She called for the nurses to treat him and spent the night with him.She left in the morning. She was only in her intern period and was not a permanent employee and colud not ask for leave.

Royce while he was unconscious, had felt someone close to him. He felt good at that moment. That feeling of warmness that he missed ever since his mother's death. He had opened his eyes once but could not see her face clearly. She was sleeping at that moment. He was tired amd his eyes shut again. The next day morning when he woke up he found himself in the hospital.

At the hospital

~ Royce's P.O.V~

I woke up and found myself in the hospital. There was a nurse beside me.

I hurriedly asked her, " Where is that Girl?"

" Girl?", The Nurse asked.

"Yes, the one who brought me here.

Where is she?" I asked her.

"She left in the morning", The nurse explained. "By the way you should take your medicines and get some rest"

I was totally disappointed. I asked the nurse for a phone and called my assistant, Derick and told him to come to meet me in the hospital.

1 hour later

Derick came with a fresh set of clothes for me.

I told him to call for the nurse.

"Have you seen that girls face?" I asked the nurse.

"Yes, I have seen her face"

"Can you help us make a portrait of her?"

"Yes I can, but sir why do you need it?" the nurse asked confused.

"Good!" I said ignoring her question.

There was some hope for me to find her.

When I find her I will never let her go.

She escaped yesterday but she will not be able to once i find her.

After Some time

Derick," Here is the Portrait."

I took the Portrait and saw it.

I was struck in amazement. She was beautiful. I fell for her.

If she could be this beautiful in a hand made potrait then I cannot imagine how much more beautiful she will be in person.

Oh I can't wait to get her.

"She could only be mine" I exclaimed.

" Get this photo copied and make the people search for her in the whole city. I want her anyhow." I said Derick.

Derick left the Hospital.

~Jessica's P.O.V~

At her Company

I am feeling sleepy. I had to look after that man the whole night. I am hell tired. I was also late to work today because of that.

But i have to admit he was quite good looking.

"Jessica, Come to my Office!", her direct superior asked her.

In the office

" May I Come in Sir?", I asked.

"Yes"

"Why did you call me sir?"

"Listen Jessica, This is the fifth time you are late in this month. This cannot go on. We have some rules and regulations that are needed to be followed. You need to hand in your Resignation by Tomorrow."

"But Sir....", I fumbled.

" End of Discussion, No more arguments.You may leave"

I was shocked. How could this happen. This doesnot happens when you help someone. I can't believe I am once again Jobless.

Oh God! Why is this Happening?

I packed my stuff. There were only a few things.

I said bye to the receptionist, Cayden.

She was the only one who ever talked to me.

I left the company building.

~ Jessica's P.O.V~

I felt dejected after I lost my job. Although I left the office building thinking I will go home but somehow I didn't feel like going back there.

I called Kyra, My best friend.

She had been my best friend only since the last 3 years but our bond was like forevers. She is strong but quite shy.

She is my only friend in the city and I rely on her a lot.

I dialed her number...

"Hey Kyra, I am in the park near my company, Can you come and pick me up? Lets go somewhere fun after that." I said

"Okayy, I will come but I am doing some work right now and will take atleast 1 hour to come. Why don't you do some shopping by that time?" Kyra explained.

"Done then, You come, till then I will do something".

Kyra will need some time. What should I do now? Shopping Mall of this area is under renovation and I don't wannna go any where far. I feel lazy.

Oh Yes! I can go to Uncle Andrew's cafe. That is nearby as well and it has been quite some time since I visited him.

At the Cafe

" Hey! Uncle Andrew"

"Oh look! Who's here! My Little Jess. Finally you got the time Huh?" Uncle Andrew sang.

"I have been quite busy recently. But today I had the time so I visited you"

Uncle is like fatherly figure to me, he treated me like his own daughter.

"You look quite tensed. Is there something up?" Uncle asked.

I knew he will sense it. I had nothing to hide from him. I told him everything.

"No need to worry, darling. Good Luck will sure come by"

I agreed with him. I knew I will find a job.

That was quite easy. Atleast with my degrees and qualifications.

The next hour I talked to him about my recent happenings. Time went by quite fast.

I got a call from Kyra. I picked it up.

Kyra: "I am here, near your company. Where are you?"

"I am at Uncle Andrew's. I will come there." I said.

I hugged him and left the cafe.

I went to the Park. She was at the other side of the road. I signalled her that I am coming. I saw the road was empty.

I started crossing the road and saw a car coming towards me at a very high speed. The road was quite broad and I was like a little ahead of the starting of the road. I like a foolish instead of going back,

continued to cross it.

~Kyra's P.O.V~

It had been 5 mins since I reached near Jess' company park. I saw her coming towards me.

She was crossing the road. I got a call. While I picked it up, I heard a scream.

I turned.

It was Jess.

She was hit.

~Jessica's P.O.V~

I could hear Kyra.

She was panicked. I had a sharp pain in my head and I could feel the pain in leg.

I closed my eyes and then....

So Jessica had an accident. It will be more interesting in next chapters.
