"As I thought this is going to be…"
Elam was running away, yet his expression was calm. He did not bother at all.
"Soo much fun…"
He turned around, had a quick glance on what was happening in the back. It seems like an army of soldiers were chasing after him.
"He-he~"
Elam giggled as he continued to put a distance between him and them. The soldier realized and started to chase even harder.
"Oh my, how persistent."
Elam smirked.
The soldiers did not seem like given up on chasing after him. 3 days. They were constantly chased after him yet, the distance kept getting further.
"TCH."
It is just like they were playing cat and mouse game.
Elam smirked again. He then suddenly stopped. The soldiers then also stopped.
"Haa… Haa"
They looked like they were out of their breaths. After panting for a while, they raised their weapons at Elam.
"You cannot… Haa… Get away with this."
The captain panted as he warned Elam.
"Hm~"
Elam looked at them. The captain flinched.
"HIC."
The soldiers felt it too. Piercing look, as if he was looking into their souls.
"Well, aren't you guys tired already?"
Then a few of their men fell down one by one. They were too exhausted. They did not rest at all. The captain looked at his men state, realized that everyone has reached their limits. Meanwhile, Elam looked just fine.
"TCH, you-"
"Pathetic. Fainting over nothing, you guys are wasting your time, chasing after me."
A monster.
At least that was what the captain thought when he was looking at the man in front of him.
"Say what you want. Soldiers!"
A white hair as the first gleam of snow. A red eyes as red as the color of blood itself. A masculine yet neat looking clothes suited his elegant gestures.
"We're not sacred of you!"
Elam smirked.
"Get ready!!!"
The captain was not fooled by his appearance. That man was the demon king. He was a cold-blooded man, known for his cruelty and twisted morals. A being who was resented just for existing.
"All I did was sneaking into your castle. Trying to enjoy the banquet your so-called king hosted."
Elam put a fake pitiful expression.
"Yet you guys chased me out and trying to kill me. I'm so sad. Sob..."
Scared. Shaking. The captain grinned his tooth.
"You're a demon king! Aren't you there to kill our king!"
He tried to hide his shaking hands. He looked at Elam. There. They finally crossed their gaze. Elam was annoyed.
"How boring. Heh."
The captain was inflicted by a mysterious yet a very powerful demonic energy from the demon king.
"EEK..."
The captain fell down to his knees. His eyes were widened as if they were bursting out. He cannot move an inch from Elam's energy.
"Captain!!!"
Seeing their captain did not react at all. They were ready to attack.
"Stop! EEK… Pull back!"
As his sweat went down through his body, the captain ordered his men to put down their weapons.
'I can't let my men die-This man-He was too strong.'
He looked at Elam and tried to strike a deal.
'I can't fight this man. We have to strike a deal instead.'
He looked at Elam, in hopeful expression.
"Listen here! I am one of the great captains of Kingdom of War. As you know, we don't usually solve something with a deal but, still I beg of you…"
Elam slowly suppressed his energy and looked at the captain, as if he was expecting something worth listening to.
"Please, come with us to my kingdom."
Elam was a little taunted. Hearing the offer, he guessed it was a threat. A threat to him. Or a hilarious cute warning.
"Hmm…"
Elam played along, since he thought it was hilarious, he put on a fake worried face.
"Haaa..."
He rubbed his face like he seems to be thinking.
"Yes? What you think? We can put a good word to the king if you come with us right now."
The captain thought the demon king has been convinced by him. He then continued.
"My king ordered me to relay this message to you. His majesty has offered you a lifetime wealth over your kin and will grant them to live freely in his land within his reach. Not only that, you can also have all the women you want in his kingdom as many as you like to be in your arms. You guys can be free."
The captain stopped for a moment. Looking at Elam, that was still seemed to be thinking of the offer.
"That's only if you agree to come to us, this is your first choice."
"Second, I'll have to apologize."
He stood up and took his sword that fell to the ground a while ago.
"but, I'm not. We will take you by force no matter what today."
The demon king touched his pale pinky lip as if he was still thinking.
"Hmm…"
The captain waited for a while for his answer. Elam then laughed a little. That was not up to the captain's expectation.
"No. Sorry but, no sorry."
Elam looked at the captain with disgusts.
"Wealth? I have a lot."
Elam folded his arms. He tilted his head a bit.
"Live freely? My kin already have their own lives. They are living peacefully in all over the kingdoms."
He was silent for a while then he looked at the captain.
"Women? No, I still have my own taste too so, a woman is a no."
He glared at them.
"Now! Get. The. Hell. Of. My. Face. Before, I'll change my mind."
The captain was concerned, his men was not at their best conditions and he himself was tired after all the chasing.
"I-"
'This is bad. We can't fight him, not in this condition. Everyone was too tired.'
He took some time to think. He then put back his weapon.
"Soldiers, put down your swords."
He turned back to his men.
"We'll rest here for tonight. Everyone, take the fallen one to the tent and treat them."
The standing soldiers then took their fellow fallen comrades right away as they stood up waiting for their captain's next orders.
"After that, a few of you, set a camp here and make sure it's enough to fit all of our men. The rest will find firewoods and cook the food for our men. You all, hear that!"
His men then listened to their captain's words well and right away did their jobs done.
As his men went to do their jobs, he then looked at the demon king, and slowly he walked towards Elam.
"Please… Let at least my men live."
The captain whispered as he pleaded to Elam. This wasn't only made Elam laughs, he went on and on.
"AHAHHAHAHA."
After a while of laughing, a serious expression appeared at Elam's face.
"How cute of you."
He held the captain's throat. He gradually lifted him higher.
"Cough… Cough…"
Elam took his time suffocating the captain. And finally he let go.
"Heh. So weak."
The captain seem like he was very close at his deathbed. He was struggling to find air.
"Argh... Haa... Cough..."
Elam then gently pull out his gloves of his pockets and burned the old one. He put on a new pair of gloves and approached the captain.
"Why'd I?"
The captain was too shocked. He thought they were getting away but in reality they did not. This demon king simply too cruel. Elam smiled, he enjoyed the suffering of the captain.
"When you guys tried to kill me. Wanting to take me with brute force."
Elam stopped.
"Why'd I let my enemies live?"
The captain trembled. He kneeled in rush to Elam. His soldiers were speechless of this sight of him begging to Elam.
"Please. They didn't know anything… They…"
The captain struggled to find an excuse.
"They were just following my orders! I alone was enough! Kill me and keep them alive!"
Elam glared at him with his red eyes, he reached his right hand to the captain. He stopped suddenly. He smiled and turned around.
"I already changed my gloves. So, I'm not in the mood to dirty them again."
Elam opened a black hole enough for him only as he was walking towards it.
"Just stop what are you doing if you want to keep at least your men's lives."
The captain smiled brightly. He began to see the Elam in a different light.
"Thank y-"
Elam already gone.
"What the-?"
The captain was left shocked. He then looked around. No sight of Elam at all. It was as if he was not there in the first place. He looked at his men.
"Do you see where he's gone to? Tell me where he went!"
His men were confused, and they showed the spot where Elam was standing. But he was not there.
"But sir, he was standing here just now!"
They looked around too. No sight of Elam too.
"We didn't notice he was going somewhere else…"
The captain looked the spot Elam was standing a while ago. He was still in shock and touched his head because of confusion.
"What? He's gone… Haha, I guess I'm still slow to react."
"Hmm~ Hm~"
Elam was grinning. He was happy, as if he was having a lot of fun.
"Hm?"
He noticed the winds were getting stronger as he went further. There. He saw a sandstorm was coming at the direction he was walking.
"He-he. Looks fun."
Elam intentionally let the sandstorm wrapped him in it. He noticed the sandstorm was moving, bringing him to a place he has once forgotten yet so familiar.
"Hm. Let's see where this brings me to. He-he."
He then closed his eyes. Then, he tried to open his. He felt that the sandstorm had calmed down. It was pitch black earlier.
"AA..."
He slowly opened his eyes. The light hurt his eyes a little. He then stood up, and then he saw a miracle.
"Hm. Looks very familiar."
A miracle he found the kingdom again. A kingdom out of nowhere at the desert.
"He-he~ I'll have fun here too then."
The sound of the heavy metal. They were crashing on each other. Elam can be heard it from afar.
"He-he~"
He giggled.
"Well, I think that was far enough!"
He warped there with his black hole. There. He then looked at the magnificent castle in front of him. Furthermore, he was excited.
"Should I go and visit the king I met 18 years ago? Might as well meet his descendant. That old man. He-he~"
He smiled happily.
"It must've been a long time, but I hope he isn't dead yet."
He sneaked into the castle. He walked to another door and another. Without being noticed. As if he was invisible to them. Though, he did not used any invisibility spell.
"Oh, what're they doing?"
He was confused. He took a moment to think. Then.
"Hmm. Eh..."
He knew it.
"Hahaha. Ha..."
It was no fun for him.
"What a spoil! They knew me, huaaaa~"
He then suddenly stopped at one specific door. The door looked very distinct than the others. He was curious.
"Hmm. Let's see what's inside. He-he~"
He did not know that was the ruler of the kingdom's room. He entered the door without a second thought.
"Hello? He-he~ Oh, my-"
To his surprise, he saw a tanned man with a pair of golden eyes, long eyelashes and nude looking lips. That man seem like he was finished bathing. The water dripped down his masculine yet bulky body. His long black hair was fully wet. He looked so manly yet so beautiful as the sunlight was shined over him.
How gorgeous.
Elam was paralyzed. He stood there, admiring the tanned man. He felt something he never felt before. An excitement? His heart was beating fast. He was mesmerized.
Haa... Hm?
Thes looked at a strange looking man with clothes he never saw before. He understood. That this man came through the sandstorm. That this man was not from this place.
What's he looking at me for?
Thes was taken back at the deep stare given by Elam. He was confused but curious.
That stare. It's irritating. A lowlife, not only that, dared to step in my room without my permissions. But even dared to look at me with those weird looking eyes.
Thes was very uncomfortable. He then took an action.
"How dare you!"
Elam was shocked by Thes's yell.
"A lowlife who entered my place without my permission. Guard!"
Elam looked at Thes. He was rather dumb-founded.
A lowlife, huh? Interesting.
Hearing to summon of their king, the knights went in his room and surrounded Elam.
"Oh my. He-he~ What a grand welcome."
Elam still did not put her eyes other than at Thes. He even smiled at Thes. Thes was annoyed by this action but in all of a sudden, Elam was suddenly in front of him.
"Darling~ I've taken a liking in you."
Elam held the Thes's right hand and kissed it like a gentleman. Thes was very unpleasant of his attitude and got angry.
How dare-This strange man-Treat me as if I am a delicate thing!
Thes slapped away Elam's hand. In anger.
"Guard! Take him to the torture room! This man carelessly touched my hand."
What the demon king did was unexpected but what was shocking was his knights.
"Hurry-"
Thes was shocked. His knights did not even move an inch at his order. He was confused.
"Why're you still standing here? Catch that man and bring him to the torture room!"
Thes yelled louder this time, but his knights still did not move. He looked at Elam as Elam gave him a lovely smile.
"TCH"
Thes then ran to one of his knights and grabbed him.
"Why aren't you listening to my order? I'm your king! Are you plotting a treason?"
The knight stared at him.
"That man is our savior. The Great Demon King!"
Thes was even confused. He thought it was just a joke. No way that was their savior. That was what Thes thought so.
"Our lord has come back."
The knight loosened up Thes's grip over his armor and he kneeled at Elam. Thes's anger was worsened.
"We'll follow his order from him from now on!"
The rest of the knights followed the actions which left Thes speechless.
"Your majesty, you should kneel to him too."
Thes disagreed, so he grabbed a sword from that knight. He was about to stab Elam.
"Die!"
"My son! Stop what you're doing now!"
Thes heard his father words. He quickly threw the sword away. He still gave a death stare to Elam.
"TCH."
Elam still smiled happily to him.
How dare this man-
Thes was so frustrated he went out of his own room.
Oh, wait. Where does he go?
Elam was disappointed when Thes went out.
"Hm..."
Elam looked at the old man. The father of Thes. He was thinking about something.
"Hey, old man! Is that your son?"
The old man was panicked.
What? Does Thes angered him? Is he going to kill my son?!!!
The old man kneeled down so did the others. Elam sighed heavily.
"Please, my Lord! Don't kill my son, he's just immature brat."
Please work, please.
Elam giggled when he heard this. It was too hilarious.
"That's…"
The old man looked very worried of what might Elam said.
No. No.
"That's no way I'd kill him."
The old man was relieved and teared up. He was assured. But, that was not it.
"Hey, old man! Would you like me to be your son-in-law?"
The old man was dumbfounded. He did not quite understand. He took a while and when he did realize. Furthermore, he was trembling like crazy.
My Lord wished to become my son-in-law??? This-
The old man looked at Elam, as if he wanted to confirm what did he just hear, but Elam seem serious.
Oh my-
He was worried.
My son do not even like men.
The old man stayed silent.
He could not answer Elam carelessly.
"That's… I-I'm"
Elam smiled.
Hm~ He-he~ I want him.
"What's his name?"
The mouth of the old man cannot stop shaking.
"Hi- his name is Thes. Pharaoh of this kingdom."
Elam smirked.
Thes, huh? Cute.
"Thes."
'Haa... So, he is still alive? Ugh. What so-called savior only come here after so long time?'
Thes misunderstood.
Does that man wished to take over the kingdom? Wait, he can not be. He gave us this land 18 years ago.
Thes went in his room again after cooling down his anger. There, he aw his father. Kneeled in front of the man.
TCH. If my father did it, I should do it as well.
He bowed down once and looked at Elam.
"My Lord."
Elam smiled even wider. He was glad. Thes was a little annoyed but he continued.
What's you smiling for? Sh*t, I hate his guts.
"I apologize for my behavior before. I just did not realize you've come back to our kingdom. I did not even prepare a great welcoming banquet for you."
As if I will. Why'd- I-the pharaoh followed some strange like you.
"I think I should be punished for being impudent to you, my Lord."
Elam changed his expression from happy to worried.
"Oh my darling, how could I punish you?"
Thes gave him a confused look. Suddenly, Elam even helped him stood up.
What's this strange man- Trying to do???
Thes was still clueless. But then he noticed that his back was touched by something. A man's hand. He then looked back. Elam held him on his arm while his left hand was holding Thes's waist.
Wait-What?
Elam tickled his back a little. Not knowing Thes was rather sensitive.
What is this? Eek-
He was shuddered and the place where Elam touched was twitching.
Why're my body reacting like this? This man-
Thes noticed it. Elam smirked at his reaction, and then he looked at Thes's father.
"So, will you accept my proposal?"
Then, Elam shifted his gaze to Thes.
"Thes?"
Thes was surprised.
How does this man-Knew my name? How careless-He called it out like it's nothing!
Thes then found the answer on his father's face. He knew that his father told the man.
"Watch where you're touching!"
Thes looked at him angrily and smacked his hand off, his father was so shocked, left speechless and scared to death. The old man glared.
"Thes!!!"
Thes turned to his father.
"TCH!"
He looked away.
"HAHAHA!"
The room was filled with Elam's laugh. All of them then looked at Elam meanwhile he wiped the drop of water from his eyes. He was done laughing. Slowly he put Thes's hand to his face and smirked at Thes. Thes was annoyed and gave him a death glare.
'Impudent!'
"Oho, oh my. What a fiery bride I got…"
Thes's eye widened and then he turned to his father.
'This bastard…'
He stared at his father.
"Father!"
The old man was helpless and was shaking with fear. He looked at his son and Elam.
If he wasn't willing to, I have to change my lord's mind.
He sighed heavily. Afraid. He took a moment and collected all the courage he found. Likewise, he then looked at Elam with a serious face.
"My Lord, if you want, I can gift you some wo-"
"DEWEN!"
A blood-red eyes.
"HIC."
Dewen was shocked that he has angered his lord. Elam glared at Dewen, Thes's father.
"Haa..."
Dewen felt a great anger from that glare, as if Elam was emitting a massive bloodlust. Yet, Elam suddenly changed his facial expression, he smiled and looked at Thes as he was admiring what he saw.
"He-he~"
He took Thes's hand again and kissed it gently while Thes was greatly disturbed by this action, he had no power to fight back as his hand was kissed by Elam.
Wait, is that man finally leave?
Elam took a step back from Thes, he then opened a black hole.
"Thes. I'll see you again then. Hehe~"
Thes could only watch as Elam left in a giant black hole.
"Haa..."
Everyone then were relieved that Elam finally left, they could not stand any moments being suffocated by the pressure of him alone in the room.
"I thought we're dead for sure."
Thes then looked at his father, Dewen as if he was demanding an explanation from him. Dewen then stood up and walked towards Thes, he gave a signal for everyone else to leave the room.
"Excuse us, your majesty."
There were both of them alone, in grand room of Thes, befitting of a descendant of a royalty known in the land of nowhere to be found. A deserted dessert which made into a kingdom of mysterious things one could not even imagine being in. Dewen sighed loudly, he touched his son's shoulder and Thes knew this is not a sign of a good thing so, he silently looked at his father.
"My son, I… Your father, a late Pharaoh of this kingdom, as great as my title used to be, I'm powerless to help you in my position. You need to understand what I'm trying to tell you. Elam isn't any person, he is indeed scarier than what you saw he did. He didn't show you any of this if he wasn't interested in you and what I mean by this was he was trying to make a difficult decision to make a difficult decisions in the future because of this savior of us."
Thes was shocked, and he could not imagine his father spoke of Elam as if he were a higher status than himself. Thes was a proud man, he could have everything he wanted and life may not bless him with it though when Elam came to his life.
"Forgive me. Your father is so useless he couldn't even protect his own son. I may excuse myself. Thes, be careful."
His father turned around and walked to the door, he stopped and closed his eyes for a while. Thes that was watching this behavior of his father was still in disbelief. A man out of nowhere had just ruined what he planned for.
"Father?"
Dewen opened his eyes, and left his son alone, clueless and helpless. Thes's eyes widened up and he started laughing like a mad person, he then sat down on his bed. He touched his face with one hand of his covering his right eye, his left eye was filled with something. A look of disgust. Anger. Disbelief. Disappointed. All in one, he was overwhelmed. He looked at the window of his room, the midnight blue sky filled with stars, a enchanting view to be seen yet felt so empty. But, a smile. No, a smirk on his face. He did not give in, just not yet.
"Do you think I'll let you get in your way?"
Thes clenched his jaw and his fists, blood was dripping on his right hand, and he stopped.
"AA, I hurt myself thinking of some worthless sh*t".
He laid his back on his bed, looked at the ceiling and smiled bitterly.
"What an annoying insect."
That was it. He closed his eyes.
Elam walked through the black hole he made. He turned around, watching as the hole slowly disappeared through a thin air. He looked at his hands, his brand-new gloves which was filled with the touch of Thes's body. He was excited.
"I should take my gloves next time I meet him. Wonder how his skin may feel like. Those golden eyes staring at mine. He-he~ Even the old man in his youth didn't look like that. Haa…"
Elam looked at a sight of the castle. He was far away but he was genuinely waiting. He missed Thes.
Those eyes. Ugh.
He laughed a little.
His reaction too. He's too cute.
Elam covered his mouth as he was admiring Thes. He kept on like that for a long time.
Wait, is this-Love?
Elam blushed by himself. He misunderstood.
Thes must like it. He-he~ Ugh... I want to see him right now, but I should give him some time to think too.
Elam sighed.
Let's go back for now. He-he~ Can't wait to see Thes tomorrow.
He then opened a black hole and went through it. There, it was his home.
"Huaaa~ I had a lot of fun."
Elam live in quite a huge place, bigger than any castles in the lands. It was filled with a lot of flowers around it. Handled by his kin who were the maids, the servant, the butler and though, he missed one thing.
"I guess we need an owner for this castle soon~"
He grinned happily as he thought of Thes's earlier reaction.
