"So... Uhh.. Since we're about to get married I think we should discuss certain things before we agree to do so." Said Rehan.

"I've had been on having a lot of girlfriends in my life" He said.

" Actually the fact is that I don't really like the idea of hanging onto a single girl for my whole life"

"... " Akshita was quiet

Akshita's parents had found a family where they could get her married off to. The family was really nice. Rehan's dad was a pharmaceutical firm owner, his mom was a housewife. He came from a high end family background like her. Rehan was a neurological surgeon. He was 27 and was a single child of his house. He and his mom-dad had come to visit Akshita's house for discussing this marriage only. After the whole family gathering of thirty to sixty minutes both the perspective bride and groom were sent to talk in private. Yes, it was going to be an arranged marriage.

"May I ask you a question? If you don't mind?" He asked

" Sure" She said in an extremely low voice

"Are you a Vir*in?" He asked

"Yes! " She answered. She didn't really mind that question, She thought it was important for the person who is going to marry her to know this thing about his wife.

" Are you? " She asked looking him in the eye. This was the first time she saw him properly. He looked at her seemingly surprised.

" I don't think that it really matters. "

" Oh. I'm just curious. " She said.

" Ah.. No! I'm not. I told you just now that I've been dating a lot of girls in my life. Doesn't it explained it already? " He said

(This guy seems really really arrogant!) She thought to herself.

"So, Um.. You don't want to marry me is it? " She said. Actually she was getting sick of how proud he was acting as if she wanted him very badly or something. It's not like she was in love with him or something.. Why was he being a moron here?

"Ah.. I don't know. That depends on the situation here. " He said

"What situation? " she asked

"Have you ever had any boyfriend in your life?" He asked

"No" She said calmly. She really never had a boyfriend in her life

"So, then any crush or something? " He asked again

'Alas! This guy! He's really being very particular about the girl he's gonna marry and want his fiance to be a neat and pure girl. '

" I actually never had any kind of encounters with a 'GUY' to have crush on or fall in l with. I've always been studying in an all girls atmosphere. So, just rest assured. " She said. She was actually getting sick of his irritating questions and continuous mocking her.

"Oh.. Okay. " He said and took the glass of juice kept on coffee table in front of him and took a sip of it.

After like 30 second of silence she asked

" Uh.. Don't you have anything else to ask? " She asked

"Nope! I got myself clear about you. " He said

What kind of a guy he was? Arrogant, Rude, Weird, Dumbass and What the f*ck was he taking her for? He was supposed to spend rest of his life with her and he's only got these irritating questions to ask? Like really.?

" Do you want to say something? " He said looking up at Akshita from his glass who was cursing him under her breath and almost glaring at him

She sighed and came back to her senses.

" Hey, tell me one thing.. Do you want to marry me? " She asked taking a deep breath in order to calm herself down

"Why do you ask? " He said

"Well you clearly asked me only those questions which would irritate any girl and you did not ask me anything else than that so.. I guess.. You intend to scare me off. " She said

he looked at her amazed.

" You're right. I did this on purpose. I do want to scare you off." He said.

"Ohkaa...y.." She said it extended the okay word too long.

"See.. The thing is that I don't want to ruin your life" He said and kept the glass down

"Ahem.. And... How.. Would you ruin my life exactly.? " She asked

" You seem to be a really nice girl to me. I am not really a good guy to marry you. You see, I don't want to waste your life so,  I'm telling you the truth 'I'm a playboy and I WILL NEVER CHANGE' Do you still want to marry me? " He asked

"Honestly, I don't believe your bullshit! " She said

He looked at her shocked at her response

"Why? "

"Because.. What I think is that you have someone you love and your parents want to force you to marry someone like me who could suit your family background. Isn't it? " She said

On hearing this he started laughing hard..

"Do you really think that I Rehan Jaiprakash can fall in love with someone.? Oh please! This love business is not my business! I just don't want to cheat on a girl. After I marry someone I need to be faithful to her and that, I can't really cope with. It's just that, looking at you and your family I just belive that you're not the kind of girl who would like to be cheated on.. In fact, I don't think that anyone would..___"

He was cut down in between by Akshita and she said hurriedly turning to him

"I really don't mind you cheating on me! "

Rehan looked at her in complete shock. He was speechless for some ten seconds staring at her and she looked confidently in his eyes.

He wetted his lips before saying, "So, you're saying that after I marry you I can fool around with other girls and you would not mind or bother me? "

"Yeah! "  She said excited

" You know what, I am not joking around with you. I am really serious about this" He said

" Yeah! I know. "

" Why would... you do that? " he asked confused

she took a deep breath and said, "Because I don't like you. and my parents, they are forcing me very hard. I have not completed my studies properly too so that I could just get a job. I'm not a girl who would like to get married or something. "

" You don't want to get married now. But I'm sure you would like to at some point of your life? " he asked a little irritated at her carefree nature towards her life.

" Not at least I am thirty-five or something. "

she said in an attitude to not to care

"huh? " he sighed at her recklessness " Are you dumb? You're actually planning to ruin your whole life just because you don't want to take responsibility of a marriage and have some fun of your bachelorship? and by the way,  do you think that if you marry me, I will let you hook up with other men? " he said getting angrier after every sentence he said.

"Hey, you can't just insult me like that okay? Did I asked you to allow me to hook up with other men that you are getting so furious all of a sudden at me? " she replied to him equally furious

" You know.. I just.. don't understand what exactly are you expecting from me Or this marriage between us. " he said confused but calming down now.

"Umm... you don't have to worry about me. You are forced by your parents to get married.

You don't want to get married and loose your life of a punk hooking up with other girls. I am willing to let you do that and co-operate with you so, what's your problem? " she said

" Really? please dont try to play that trick on me! " he said

" what trick? "

" I'll make him change from my love thing... don't try to fool yourself. I will not change. "

he said.

" I know. and I've heard that many times now. " she said rolling her eyes.

" Wait! are you mesmerized by my beauty or something? " he asked her taking aback

'what the hell is this moron thinking? ' she thought to herself

" That's why you are willing to marry me because you are just enchanted by my handsome face and hot body that you want to be my wife so that you could get into my bed with me? " he said

' oh god! this shameless person! ' she thought anger raging in her

She was about to shove him down with her words just then her younger sister Prakriti ran to ask both of them to come downstairs.

" Sister, Father is calling you both down. It's time for brother in law to go home now. " she said to her sister

"okay" both of them said together and then looked at each other and then looked away after two seconds of eye contact.

When Akshita and Rehan went downstairs

Rehan's parents were already at their doorsteps ready to leave.

Akshita touched all elder's feet one by one and so did Rehan - touched feet of all the elders of Akshita's family and her whole family together waved them off.
