12pm in the middle of the night Trina Williams got out of the car, her wavy brown hair dancing as the wind flew past. Waving the driver off she walked to the policemen discussing the crime scene. This wasn’t the first time she had to be up and going at this hour. Over the last week there have been more and more deaths around Eastorn Europe and Trina was getting sick of it. This was her city after all. Shaking of her thoughts she glanced at the fresh bloodbath next to the policemen. “Evening fellow officers. What exactly happened here?” Trina said as she showed her Professional Detective Badge. The policemen took one glance at her badge before stepping aside. “We don’t know the exact moment this happened, but it was around 1 hour ago.” One of them said. Trina nodded her thank you before she crouched down near the female victim that was a couple of steps away from a huge pool of blood. “Is this the victim’s blood?” She’d ask as she waited for a answer. “Well we don’t really know, but we are taking DNA samples as we speak.” A man answered as he approached. Trina reconized the voice of the man and so she glanced up. “Sir Scott, what brings you out here so late? Shouldn’t you be home with the kids?” She stood up asking kindly. Micheal Scott or Sir Scott was her boss. He had a great heart, but a lack of humor. She shook his hand firmly before glancing at him. “They personally called me here, because of the victims identity. As soon as they said her name I was out of the house like a thief that stole jewelry.” He said glancing at the victim. “Who is she? He is definitely important that you skip family time.” Trina asked even more curious now. “One of the FBI agents of Central Europe.” Her boss answered. “You’re joking right?” Trina scoffed gazing at the dead woman. “Nope, he was send here secretly to help us with investigating.” He said before yawning. “Hmm, maybe she arrived yesterday and was walking home from work tonight and died?” She crouched down again sighing. “But sir I swear something isn’t adding up. Why would she be late from work this late? And why did she walk? There are usually taxis who are available at this hour.” Trina blurted her suggestions out. Sir Scott nodded. “Yes indeed something isn’t adding up, but we’ll have you take on this case. So good luck Miss Williams.” He waved himself off wanting to go talk to the other officers. “Okay, guess I have to wait until tomorrow to get the DNA results.” She’d yawn before standing up investigating further on. There were signs of struggle. She thought as she glanced were all the blood was spilled. There are many questions but the most important one is, was she targeted? Trina noticed some deep gash marks on the victims chest. Her clothes were ripped of to pieces near her chest. “Interesting.” She murmured before standing up and walking towards the 2 cops and her boss. “Uhm, may I ask you both something?” She glanced at them with her hands on her hips. “S-Sure Miss.” They both answered. “Very well then. Why are there only 4-5 policemen here? Shouldn’t there be more?” She investitagted. The other thing that was bothering her was the lack of policemen and usually they don’t work at this hour. And who found the victim? She rolled that thought in her head waiting for a answer. “W-Well miss.” One of the policemen began. “It was late and one of your fellow men called us. He said that he needed urgent help, but we only send a couple of men because we didn’t want to make a fuss. But when we got here he was gone.” He answered. “Yes we are still searching for him in this area.” The other one said. Trina couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Strange. This can’t be a animal. It also can’t be someone with a knife, those gashes are to deep. “Do you know why he disappeared? Was he behind this or was he caught?” She started to question them. “M-Miss we really don’t know, it’s very strange for us as well.” They answered. She needed that DNA tests very quickly! “Okay, Thank you both.” She’d smile. “I’ll take my leave now.” Her boss nodded as she glanced back at the bloodbath and deadcorpse being removed and bagged. She started walking back. “Something strange is going on here and I attend to find out.” She mumbled taking out her phone.
Trina called a taxi to come pick her up and drive her home. After 6 minutes the taxi arrived. Opening the door she got in. “To Capri Street please.” She said resting her head on the seat and glanced at the window. “Righty miss!! We will be there in 15 minutes.” He said as he started the car and drove to her destination. Trina slightly closed her eyes to rest them. She woke up with a start as the taxi stopped. Yawning she looked at the window. She saw that they were already at her house. “Thank you sir.” She handed him the cash and hopped out. The taxi driver waved as he started the taxi and drove off. She shuddered. It felt like something or someone was watching her. Glancing around and seeing nothing she’d sigh, shrugging it off. She glanced around one more time before entering her home. Her home wasn’t too small. The living room connected with the door and kitchen, but that wasn’t a problem. Her house had a long hallway. Her room was at the end as well as the bathroom. “Time for bed.” She’d yawn and headed straight for the hallway and her room. Her room wasn’t that big. It only had a queen sized bed and some closets and drawers. Her bed was a few meters away from the door and against the right side wall. Her desk was in the middle facing a small window that was looking straight onto the road of her house. That’s where she did all the detective work. On the left side there her drawers and closets were. Trina immediately fell onto her bed. She breathed in a heavy sigh. “This was a hell of a night, hopefully tomorrow will be beter.” She muffled into her pillow. Her eyelids couldn’t stay open for long before she was fast asleep dreaming her worries away.
“Trina!! Wake up! Trina!!” Someone shouted. She glanced around only to notice that she was laying on the ground. “W-What happened?!” Trina shouted anxiously looking around. The person who shouted her name was her best friend and co-worker, Richard Stanley. “Come on get up we must run!!” He grabbed her arm started to help steady her. She couldn’t help but notice the blood oozing from his chest, but it seemed like it was already starting to heal. They started walking and it slowly formed into a run. “W-What are we running from?” She asked as she was steading Richard and he was steading her. Then he stopped. Trina almost lost her balance as she came to a quick halt as well. “We are ...” Richard couldn’t finish because he was suddenly flung backwards. Trina gulped and when she turned around ready to face what hit her friend darkness ungulfed her completely.
“Ahh!!” She bolted upright gripping her sheets. They were slightly soaked with sweat. What a terrible nightmare... Trina rubbed her head before looking around. Seeing that it’s still dark she stood up grabbing her nightgown from the closet. She put on the lights as she walked to the kitchen. Glancing at the clock on the wall she sighed. “Well it’s almost 6 am so I better get ready.” Trina put on the kettle before rushing back to her room. She put her jeans on her bed along with a oversized jersey. After finishing setting her clothes for the day she headed back to the kitchen. She quickly got a mug from the cupboard and set it down. The kettle then clicked off and she took a spoon full of coffee. She started mixing it with one and a half spoons of sugar and mixed it with the hot kettle water. And just like that she added milk and her coffee was finished. Trina took her coffee and sat down in the living room. She practically nearly fell asleep as her body relaxed itself on the couch. That was the reason why she made coffee. Trina took a sip of her coffee. After she was done she returned the coffee mug to the sink and rushed to her bedroom. Putting on her jeans and oversized jersey she’d let out a sigh of relief. Heading to the bathroom she started doing her makeup, but not to much thought. When she was finished she combed her hair and brushed her teeth. Trina glanced at herself in the mirror. All done. She then headed back to her room to grab her computer and bag. After getting those she headed to her living room. She quickly checked the clock on the wall. “Oh sh*t it’s almost 6am!” Trina opened her door and rushed out. She quickly locked it and rushed off into the street. Wait where’s the taxi?! She sighed. Glancing around she didn’t see any taxi or even a soul in sight so she turned left and headed for work. Trina ran as fast as het two legs could carry her. “Almost there.” She mumbled to herself as she stopped to take a breather. When she finally regained herself she glanced up. Just as she did so a car stopped next to her. “Where you heading? I can give you a lift if you’d like.” It was a man who spoke with a Asian like accent. He had the most handsome face and impress sharp jawline and also awesome body build. His eyes were a green hazel color. He had messy white hair. He was truly a beauty to behold. “Miss? Miss? You still here?” Trina shook off her daze and smiled. “I-I’ll be fine, thank you sir.” She politely declined. Although he was handsome and stunning she couldn’t accept, you never know maybe he isn’t such a nice guy as he might seem. “Hmm, very well then.” Before Trina could say anything or even wave he started the car and rushed away. Trina stood there with one hand in the air, she looked like a fool. Putting her hand down ashmed she started jogging to her work.
“Never met such a handsome guy that’s so rude.” She mumbled on as she entered her work space. She talked halfway to herself on the lift. As she sat down, she immediately started her laptop. She decided to continue with investigating the crime scene that happened the night before. As she started working and searching for clues one of her co-workers came to her. “Umm, Miss Williams.” Trina turned around smiling. “Please do call me Trina.” She asked. “Sorry miss...I mean Trina. Our boss wants to see you.” Her co-worker said. She stood up and nodded at her. “Okay then, thank you for delivering the message.” The girl nodded happily before rushing off to continue with her work. Trina started walking to her boss’ office when she saw something in the corner of her eye. She turned around. She saw a man with white beautiful hair. Then it struck her. “Wait woah, this can’t be the same person, right?!” She mumbled. Trina shook the thought off as she continued walking to her boss’ office. As she entered her boss looked very pleased. “Ahhhh, Trina Williams. My favorite detective.” Micheal Scott said or Sir Scott. She couldn’t help but smile. “Is there something you need me for boss’?” She’d question. “Ahh, no Trina. I actually wanted to introduce you to your new partner in crime. He’ll help you with the murder that happened last night.” He said standing up. “Oh and do take a seat.” He added. “I’ll be fine sir, but where is my partner exactly?” She’d ask. “Oh he just went to get some coffee he’ll be back.” He said. Trina saw someone coming to the office with 2 coffees. “Is that him sir?” She’d asked. “No Trina.” The man came in and sat the coffees down. “Here you go sir.” Then he left as quickly as he came. “You want one. I figured you always drink one.” He asked. “You know me well sir.” She grabbed a coffee, luckily it wasn’t to bitter but also not to sweet. Trina sipped her coffee and closed her eyes as she mesmerized the taste. “Ahh welcome back Sir Channing.” She heard her boss say. She immediately opened her eyes and glanced back. Their the man called Sir Channing stood. It was the same man she saw a few minutes ago and the same one she saw coming to work. He was leaning against the doorframe eyeing her. His lips and nose were really just perfect. His curves and body form was absolutely to die for. Trina gulped before shaking her head. She started coughing on her coffee. Well isn’t this just embarrassing. “Are you okay Trina?” Her boss asked as he stood up. She shook her head before getting her breathing back to normal. Channing scoffed before handing her a napkin. “You accidentally spilled on your clothes.” He said. Trina smiled before excepting his napkin. As she took it from him their fingers touched. She felt a slight spark and pluck her hand away along with the napkin. She glanced up and saw him glancing at his hand as well. She then knew he felt it as well. He looked confused but shook it off. “So where were we sir?” He started a conversation. Trina turned around confused and embarrassed. She cleaned herself up. “Well I was about to introduce Trina Williams to you.” Her boss said. “Hmm, very well.” He said. “I have decided that you Lucius Channing will work with Trina Williams to solve this case.” Trina almost coughed on her own spit. “Sir why him? He’s an absolute jerk!” She pushed, questioning. “No offense Lucius.” She added glancing at him. “No offense taken short hair.” He said. Trina gulped, angry. “Sir see what I mean?!” She turned back to her boss who was already signing the contract. “Well what’s decided is decided. Sorry Trina, there’s nothing I can do.” He said before giving her the papers. She stared at for a couple of minutes before sighing. “Fine I’ll work with him as my partner.” She took her bosses pen and signed it as well. Lucius scoffed before taking the pen from her and signing it as well. He gave the pen back. For a slight second they both stared at each other before heading there separate ways.
“Rude unrightful jerk.” She muttered under her breath as she walked out of the door. Lucius Channing had left before her. Trina made her way to her work space deciding to work a bit and then head home early. As she sat down she began opening images from the crime scene. She clicked on different photos over and over again checking for a clue to what happened or what caused this. Seeing nothing she sighed placing her palms near her temples. Then something struck her. Check the cameras!! “That’s it, the cameras!!” She shouted as she bolted upright. When Trina glanced around she saw no one. Hmm. Should probably go home then. She thought. “Tomorrow I can go check out if there even are cameras in that area.” She mumbled before packing away her things. Just when she was about to head home someone called her. She took out her phone checking the caller before answering. “Hello, Trina Williams here how can I help?” She’d say waiting for a answer. “It’s me, your partner in crime?” Trina sighed. “Lucius you could’ve just said your na-” “Yeah Yeah, we have no time for jokes. Meet me on Cleve Street. We have another mystery to solve.” Wait...wha-” She’d glanced at her phone. He ended the call just like that? What a jerk. She’d sigh before putting her phone back into her pocket. Time to solve another crime. Walking out of the building she’d then lock everything before calling a cab. After some minutes the cab arrived. “Where to miss?” The taxi driver asked. “To Cleve Street please.” She’d answer putting down her suitcase with her laptop in it. She was going to work hard tonight. The taxi driver nodded before driving off. After 9 minutes they arrived. Trina saw a face that she knew and told the driver to stop. He did so and she hopped out. “Thank you very much sir.” She handed him a tip. “Ahh, thank you miss.” He waved before driving off again. She watched as the taxi disappeared. Just as she turned around she saw Lucius scoffing. “What’s the matter sidekick?” She’d tease him. Lucius kind of looked furious when she called him that, but as quickly as it came it was gone again. “I’m not you sidekick Princess.” He’d say with a Asian accent flowing through his English. “Now c’mon, some police patrolling the area just found a body.” He started walking to the direction his hands in his pockets. She scoffed before quickly catching up. “So how old is the body?” “Well we don’t know that, they are taking some DNA now and will probably found out the time and date of death later tomorrow.” She sighed. “Hopefully I can get some clues and maybe figure that out myself.”
As they got closer a rottening smell filled the air. “No this didn’t happen tonight. This has to be at least 1 week old...” She’d say. Lucius and Trina gazed worriedly at each other. They were wondering the same thing. If this was the same killer then there’s probably more body’s hidden and unfound like this one and that made them worried and shocked to the bone.
