“ It's kinda embarrassing but I didn't know where the Infirmary was” Thea said, turning her head away from Mal.

“ It took about 20 minutes I think” Thea said embarrassed.

“ 20 minutes?!”

“How were you able to carry me all that time?”

“Did anyone help you?” Mal asked.

“ I am very strong you know.”

“Carrying you is easy” Thea said as she thought

“ Compared to all the things I have carried, carry you is easy”

Mal looked at Thea surprised and then said, “ Wait a second!”

“The bell that rang just now, was it the lunchtime bell?”

Thea nodded.

“Hahhh....” Mal sighed before getting up from the bed.

“Are you ok?”

“You should say in bed.”

“You lost a lot of blood you know” Thea said as she got up from the chair and walked to Mal.

“ I'm fine, maybe just a little dizzy” he said.

“I should have wore my glasses when I went in the library ” he muttered as he turned to leave.

“ You are up. ”

“Finally, if you had been asleep when I arrived, I would have thought you was doing this for spite to skip classes.” someone said from by the doorway.

It was same girl Thea saw before with long, black hair in a low ponytail, and she had amber eyes. She had dark brown skin almost like chocolate which was different from her brother that had pale skin. Her dark circles under her eyes made her look like she exhausted seemed to have grown.She glanced around the room.

“Where is the nurse” Shime asked before looking at me and said,“ Oh it's you again.”

“ Why are looking for her?”

“Did you get hurt?” Mal asked worried.

“ It's nothing.”

“Anyway, how are you feeling?” She asked

“Just a little dizzy” Mal answered.

“ I will treat your wounds.”

“Where is it? ” Mal said

“ I said it was nothing” She said giving Mal her hand.

“Thea, if there anything you wanted to do now you can go ahead.”

“Sorry I wouldn't be able to go with you” Mal said

“Why is he apologizing” Thea asked herself before saying,“ I will stay here with you guys and you don't have to apologize because it not like I asked you to follow me anyways.”

It was quiet for a moment and then Mal said, “ You said it was nothing! ”

“Look at this bruise.”

“How did you get it anyway?”

“ I was protecting a girl from getting hit with a ball.”

“ I didn't seem this bad when I got it though” Shime answered.

Thea watched as Mal carefully patched up Shime's wound.

“You really care about your sister. ”

“ I wish I had a sibling who cared about me like you do” Thea said with a regretful look on her face.

“ When your sibling is the only person who cares about you of course you will grow to love her" Mal said with a soft and gentle smile on his face.

“ Ahh... Sorry I didn't mean to make you talk about something so sad” Thea said once again with a regretful look on her face.

“ It's ok.”

“I was the one who brought it up anyway” Mal said finish patching up Shime's arm and put the first aid kit on the table close to the corner of the room.

Then they heard a door open and when the looked it was the nurse.

“ Hey, kiddo” She said in a familiar tone and then looked over to Shime surprised.

“ What are doing here?”

“ Are you injured? ” She asked worrily.

“ Mia, it's nothing serious.”

“ Don't worry about it” Shime responded calmly.

Thea looked at Shime's expression on her face.

“ It's different from when she visited Mal earlier. She looks just a little bit calmer. ” Thea thought remembering Shime face when she heard that Mal was injured.

“ Even though it was a little bit, I remember a sad almost worried expression on her face. ” Thea thought and Mal looked at her surprised

Thea was lost in her thoughts for a moment before looking at how everyone interacted with eachother and muttered, “ This is....nice.”

Everyone turned and looked at her confused except for Mal who chuckled, his face fill of life the exact opposite of Shime that was dim.

“ I'll be leaving now. Mal take care of yourself. ” Shime said looking back once more before leaving.

“ I am going to buy lunch in the cafeteria. Do you buy in the cafeteria too or no? ” Thea asked Mal.

“ Yeah, I would just like chicken and chips. ” Mal said handing Thea twelve dollars.

“ Would you like anything Miss, Mrs. Mia?” Thea asked politely.

“ You can just call me Mia and anything is fine” She answered handing her a twenty dollar bill.

“ Ok" Thea said before she left with the money and stopped.

“ I don't know where the cafeteria is. ” Thea thought to herself.

She walked in a random direction and bounced into a boy by mistake. They both got up saying sorry and Thea picked up his phone that fell when they bounced into eachother.

“ Thankfully it doesn't have any cracks. ” Thea said.

The boy took back his phone saying, “ Don't worry about it. My phone is like a Nokia plus I was getting a new one anyway. ”

He looked at me before asking, “ Are you lost? ”

“ Yes. How did you know that I was lost? ” Thea asked and the boy answered, “ I could see it or I had a feeling, I guess.” he said almost unsure.

“ Ah ... Anyways ... I was going to ask you if you could show me where the cafeteria is. Can I? ” Thea asked a little embarrassed.

“ Sure.” He said taking his phone before leading me to the cafeteria.

“ Thanks ” Thea said happily following him.

He looked at me surprised before asking, “ Are you a transfer student ?”

“ Yeah ” Thea said

“ What form? ” He asked and Thea answered, “ Form 3. ”

For some reason Thea felt nervous. The way he asked questions kind of sounded like an interrogation.

He stopped and looked back at Thea saying , “ There is no need to be nervous ” before continuing walking and after a while they reached to the cafeteria.

“ Wow ” Thea said looking at the cafeteria as the boy looked at her.

“ Is it really cool? ” the boy asked confused.

“ Yeah, look how big it is! ” Thea answered excited to actually explore the cafeteria but then snaps out of it when she remembered Mal.

“ Is that all because I have to go to class? ” the boy said.

“ Oh, Yeah it is, thanks ” Thea said as she joined the line.

 The boy walked a few steps but then went back to Thea saying, “ If you are worried about anything or anyone you can talk to me ”

“ I am your classmate after all” the boy said.

“ Wait, you are? Why did you ask for my form then?” Thea asked

“ Just in case I was wrong” He answered

“I don't remember anyone like you” Thea said looking confused.

“ Oh, just give me a moment” he said removing a rubber band he had in his hair, releasing his bun and then ruffles it a little bit. Black, long,curly hair now covers half of his face and only one brownish amber eyes is seen.

“ Blake? ” I said surprised.

“ Yep, but what are you doing here? ”he asked

“ We could talk about it after school ” Thea answered.

 I could tell Blake wanted to ask more questions but didn't. Instead he said, “ Well, I will be in the library if you need me.”

“ You do know where that is right?” he asked.

“ Yeah, thanks for the help” Thea said chuckling a little

“ Anytime” he answered waving me goodbye before leaving.

“ The line to the cafeteria grown a little bit more since Thea first arrived but it wasn't as crowded as she thought it would be.

She dazed out, just for a minute or two before she entered the line, bought some food and drinks and then hurried back to the Infirmary.

She stopped for a moment and saw Mia leaving the room, almost bouncing into her.

“ Ah, there you are ” she said with a relieved sigh.

“ I thought you was lost” she said before entering the room with Thea.

“ Oh, you found her already?” Mal asked surprised.

“ Nah she found her way back by herself ” Mia answered.

“ Mal, Are you feeling better? ” Thea asked  putting the food on the table next to him and placing her hand on his forehead.

“ Oh, Worried about me are you? ” Mal asked playfully.

“ Of course I am, I am not heartless you know”  she replied, a little angry.

She removed her hand from Mal's head.

“ Ah, I didn't mean it like that” Mal said turning away his face from Thea.

Before he could say anything else Thea said, “ Your head is feeling a little hot, are you sure you're ok? ”

“ I'm fine ” he replied.

“ I got chicken and chips but are you sure you don't want anything else?” Thea said getting the bag of food from the table and began showing Mal what there was.

“ Nah, I'm good ” he said.

Thea handed him his chicken and chips and a cake saying,“ Just take it, it's my gift.”

“ Thanks” he said
