Riko initially had no desire to become a model, but she did so very quickly. Now that Riko's face is well-known throughout the globe, she even goes by the name "Goddess."

In order to complete her education and return as soon as possible to her group, Akira is currently on hiatus.

Manami participated in her first swimming competition when she was six years old and won against competitors who were much older than she was. Manami's parents, who were astounded by her abilities, would pay for her to receive professional training. She entered her first junior national swimming competition at the age of 15. Manami continued to swim professionally after winning, but she soon stopped after being badly injured during one of her races. In order to complete her education, Manami now lives in Japan with her grandmother.

Mother said she would write a letter whenever she needed to get something off her chest. When she finished writing her letter, she would place it in a box and never send it to the person she mentioned in the letter. I reasoned that I should give it a shot. Maybe then I'll realize how I truly feel. But now that I'm writing this, I'm not sure if it'll help me. How can I tell my best friend, with whom I've been friends since I was a child, that hey! I love you and would appreciate it if you loved me back...
Riko puts down her pen and sighs deeply. She leans back in her chair and lifts the letter she wrote above her face, glancing at it and holding it close to her chest.

I can't believe I wrote a letter like this...
Akira enters Riko's room with a puzzled expression on her face. She approaches Riko and inquires.
Tanji Akira
What are you talking about?
Akira lowers her gaze and notices the letter in Riko's hand.
Tanji Akira
Is that something written? Are you going to write someone a letter?
Riko opens her desk in a panic and places the letter she wrote inside. She looks at Akira with a flushed face and shakes her head.
Shima Riko
L-Letter? What exactly do you mean by letter? I didn't send a letter!
Rikos' embarrassment makes Akira laugh. Akira moves closer to Riko, hugs her from behind, closes her eyes, and tells her.
Tanji Akira
I wish you'd just tell Haruka how you really feel. I'm afraid that if you don't, it might be too late.
Riko places her hand on top of Akira's. Riko tilts her head and looks out the window, sad.
Shima Riko
I keep telling myself that I will tell her how I feel, but I keep avoiding the thought of doing so. The truth is, I'm afraid she won't feel the same way and that our friendship would endure
Akira hugs Riko tighter from behind and whispers in her ear.
Tanji Akira
How can she not adore you...you are flawless Riko
Tanji Akira
If she can't see that, she doesn't deserve you.
Riko raises her head and gazes at Akira. Akira looks down at Riko and they exchange glances. Riko blushes slightly and lowers her head.
Shima Riko
Akira, I'm glad you're back. I'm sure traveling and performing all over the world must be exhausting; I'm not sure how you do it. Being a kpop idol appears to be a lot of work.
Akira beams. Akira knew that whenever Riko became nervous, she would change the subject. She thought that was cute about her. Akira enjoys how easily Riko became flustered.
Tanji Akira
I'm relieved to be back. Although being a kpop idol appears to be a dream, it is extremely exhausting. I'm grateful that the company allowed me to take a break to work on my studies.
Akira's body becomes heavier, putting pressure on Riko's shoulders. Riko makes a suspicious face at Akira.
Shima Riko
What are you attempting to do?
Tanji Akira
Being a kpop idol, as you mentioned, must be exhausting. I'm so exhausted that I'm afraid I'll pass out.
Riko is irritated by Akira and struggles to push Akria off of her.
Shima Riko
Hey! Stop fooling around, you're heavy!
Riko gets up from her desk and looks at Akira, annoyed by her antics. Akira looks back at Riko, stunned. Riko pushes Akira onto her bed and starts walking back to her desk. However, before she has a chance, Akira grabs Riko's arm, causing Riko to fall on top of Akira. Both of them make eye contact, flustered they both look away, unable to say anything.
Shima Riko
W-We should hurry and get to school...
Tanji Akira
T-That sounds like a good plan...
Riko dismounts from Akira. Riko, flustered, locks herself in her restroom. Akira lies in bed, her arm covering her face. Akira's face turns bright red.
The conclusion of episode two

Episode three: Nearly Attracted
After having left Riko at home. Riko and Akira are walking to school. After their incident at home, they both walk in silence, flustered by what had just occurred.
Akira, slightly blushing, tries and reaches for Riko's hand. When Akira was nervous, she would always grab Riko's hand because the warmth of Riko always calmed her down.
Before Akira could reach Riko's hand. Riko moved her hand and placed it on her backpack strap.
Tanji Akira
Do you think people will recognize me, Riko?
Shima Riko
Of course, they would. Why would they not?
Tanji Akira
What I mean is, will people recognize me simply for being myself? Or being a kpop idol?
Tanji Akira
Don't get me wrong: I enjoy the role of an idol. It's been a dream of mine since I was a child, but it's all I'm known for. I don't just want to be known as that; I also want to be known as myself, not just as the person I am on stage.
Riko comes to a stop. Akira, perplexed, looks at Riko and stops walking shortly after Riko. Riko reached for Akira's arm and holds it tightly.
Shima Riko
You'll always be Akira to me. You'll always be that sweet and kind girl I met in middle school. Don't let your title define who you are as a person. You are still who you are in the absence of a title.
Hearing those words come from Riko rendered Akira speechless. She had never heard those words spoken to her before. She's also never told anyone how she felt about being a kpop idol.
Riko gives Akira a gentle smile.
Shima Riko
Let's get going; you don't want to be late for your first day back, do you?
As the two of them walk to school, Akira shakes her head and grabs Riko's hand.
