Chapter 1: Her past life
~ 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚'𝙨 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 ~
I looked out of the window, to see the beautiful city. It's been so many days, since I went out of the hospital.
I laughed at my fate. There was a time when I had everything and was very much happy in my life, but now don't have anything rather memories and sorrow.
Hey guys, its Katherine here, you all must be thinking about, what am I blabbering. Hah...... Let me introduce myself to you all properly.
I am Katherine, and l I am suffering..... from lung cancer.
My life gradually took a sudden turn which made my world upside down. My family faced an accident.
They were returning from a business trip. My father died right on that spot while my mother was in coma for two months and then left me all alone.
I was devastated...... I was all alone. No friends no family nothing.
After a few months, I found that I have lung cancer. All my life, I just wanted to be free and travel around the world. But..... looks like that can't be possible. The doctor told that I have an extremely weak body, so I can't leave the hospital.
It's been two years since I am here, in the hospital. Sometimes I wander around with Miss Ava, an absolutely amazing middle aged nurse.
She was always there for me when I was depressed, she always made laugh when I didn't even has the urge to live.
She is such a sweetheart.
My trails of thought was broken when I heard a knock on the door.
Dr. Luke and Nurse Ava came in my cabin for daily check up.
Dr. Luke
Good Morning Katherine
Katherine
Good Morning Doctor
I greeted the doctor with a beautiful smile
Dr. Luke
how are you doing
Katherine
I am doing absolutely fine and what about you ?
Dr. Luke
hmm..... I am fine too
He replied while checking few of my health reports and became serious.
Ava started feed me, my breakfast
Dr. Luke turned to me with a sorrowful look ? Maybe my health is worsening.
I didn't say anything and continued eating.
I was sitting on my bed, I wasn't feeling well from the afternoon. I was coughing really badly from the last few minutes.
Blood came out from mouth, I felt so weak. My throat started aching, slowly my breathing became uneven. My whole body started aching all of a sudden.
My vision slowly started becoming blurry, my body started feeling weak.
My eyelids started becoming heavy, and my body started feeling light
Am I going to die ? At least can I just say a goodbye to Ava ?
I collapsed on the bed, feeling cold all of a sudden. It feels nice. Everything is so peaceful. And suddenly everything became black, I stopped breathing
~ 𝙀𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚'𝙨 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 ~
A tall handsome man was looking over the screen and was typing something while a few robots were around him doing their respective works seriously.
Maverick
Katherine, an orphan, suffering from lung cancer ? Hmm..... let me take her as my third host.
Maverick clicked on the screen and there was a picture of Katherine with her biodata.
He chuckled coldly and everything became dark.

Chapter 2: System World Introd
I woke up feeling an immense pain in my head. Looking around I realized that it was not the hospital.
Where am I ? Am I still alive ?
I was about to get up when the room's door opened and a man came in with a robot behind him.
Maverick
Hey host, welcome to the world of system. We welcome you with sincerity.
Host ? System World ? What on earth is going on ?
I was confused and asked him curiously.
Katherine
Who are you ? And where am I ? And what is this system world ?
The man looked at me coldly which made me flinch.
He walked out after giving him the order
Robo
Good Morning host, my name is Robo. And from today onwards you are my and King's ( Maverick ) host. You are dead in your world. It's a system world.
Robo
In this world there are fifty system excluding the King. He is the creator of this world.
Robo
We are the actual systems but sometimes King chooses some people to play with and now you are one of them
Robo
If you have done something wrong or anger the King think that as your last day in here.
Robo
Now, let me explain about system and host to you.
Robo
It's like a video game. I am your system so I will give you missions to complete. And you to complete, it without failing and if you fail you will be given another chance but even after taking the chance you fail again, you will be given another mission that would be harder and you will find your life in danger.
Robo
Now about the mission levels, there are five levels or ranks in the mission.
I didn't say anything, I was just listening to carefully without uttering a single word.
Suddenly a screen appeared in front of her.

A 2 to 5 10000
B 6 to 12 20000
C 13 to 35 50000
SS 36 to 76 90000
SSS 77 to 100 100000
Robo
Level A is the easiest level whiles B is harder than A. C is harder than both A and B while C is the hardest among them. SS is the hardest between A, B and C and SSS is the hardest among all the levels

And if you by any chance get killed during the mission you soul with be vanished.
Robo
If you reach to the hundredth level you will be free to leave this system world or to stay here as the head system.

With the points you will be able to unlock and buy skills

These abilities will be very much useful to you during the missions

And if you reach the 100th level you will be given two options either to stay here and work as the head system or to leave the system world and get reborn.

Now about the missions.
Robo
You have to help those pitiful souls who didn't get a happy life, you have to give them happiness and find a perfect life partner for them after taking the right decisions. Your soul will be transferred to the soul's body whom you are you going to help.
Robo
You will be transferred there in the middle of their life and then you have to help them.
L.R = LOVE RATE
P.R = POSSESSIVE RATE
O.P = OBSESSION RATE
G.R = GUILTY RATE
D.P = DANGER RATE
J.P = JEALOUSY RATE
R.R = REGRET RATE
RE.R = REVENGE RATE

These are the rates you have to make the love to 100%
Robo
Possessive rate must be under 40 % or the male leads would kill you and preserve your body.
Robo
Obsession rate should be under 70% or the male leads would cage you.
Robo
Guilty rate must be under 90% or the male leads would commit suicide.
Robo
Danger rate should be under 50% as it would show if danger is near you or not. So you have to be careful before taking any step.

Jealousy rate should be under 95% or the male leads would harm you or the person whom they are Jealous of
Robo
Regret rate should be under 80% or they will harm themselves.

Revenge rate will show, how much revenge you have took
Robo
Me and King will always be there with you during the missions but no one could see us but you. You can easily talk with us in your mind.
Robo
We will help you in giving informations and also update you with the future plans of the antagonists.

You can't kill anyone during the mission. You have to complete the wish of the original soul and after you complete the mission the original soul will took back over their body.
Robo
In some mission there will be opponents for you, who will not let you complete your mission but you have to continue.
Robo

What if I don't want to be a host ?
Robo
Simple, your soul will be shattered.
Katherine
Then I am ready, I don't want to do missions, I..... want to die
Maverick
You can't die, you have to be my host until and unless I am done with you.
The same tall man came in and replied coldly. Suddenly I stared to feel pain all over my body and my vision started to get blurry and once again the darkness embraced me.

Chapter 3: Maverick
~𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙚'𝙨 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚~
I woke up as I heared someone calling me. The last thing which I remember, that I was in a mysterious place and a tall man and a robot was explaining about the system world, missions, it levels, rebirth and soul.
Oh.... goodness thinking of this is making my mind a mess.
I was busy thinking about those when suddenly I heard a male voice shouting.
Maverick
Can you hear me ?
I flinched and turned around to see the same man was standing in front of me.
Katherine
Why are shouting ?
I whispered softly as he calmed all his anger vanished.
Maverick
I was calling from, more than I minute but you were so much drowned into your dreamland, that you didn't even heard me.
He said sarcastically yet coldly.
I again whispered softly.
Maverick
So, what's your decision ?
He asked me, my decision. Is he asking about staying here and doing missions ?
Katherine
Are you asking me to stay here and do missions, so that you can play with me and make me your play thing ?
I asked him softly yet calmly.
He clenched his fist before replying.
Katherine
Give me some time
Maverick
.....Ok, I am giving you fifteen minutes, think and give me your answer.
He walked out of the room, while I hold me head.
Ha... what will I even do ? He seems so serious...... Is it for real or am..... I really dreaming ? but this feels so real. Oh my God, my head is spinning.
What have I even done to visit in here. I always thought that after death, a person visits either heaven or hell, depending on his/her deeds throughout his life.
Then why on earth have I done to come into this system world.
ha... I surely don't want to go back to earth anymore. That robot also said that if the reject doing missions, my soul will be vanished, then what's his problem.
Why do I always suffer ? God, please help me.
What should I do ? Should I stay here and do missions, or should I reject him and let him vanish my soul ?
When I was busy thinking someone and came whispered against my ears
Maverick
Your fifteen minutes are over, darling
I gasped and looked at my side...... so close.... he was so close.
I pushed him gently but, he didn't even move an inch.
I gulped down the lump of my throat.
Katherine
wha- what are you doing ?
He snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me while I bumped onto his hard and muscular chest.
I was sitting on the bed and his one knee was beside me on the bed while he took support while standing.
Maverick
Tell me your decision, darling. And I want to here a " yes " from you.
he whispered in his deep and demanding voice while fanning his hot breathe on my neck sending sparkles down, my sensitive body. I sucked on a breathe while my cheeks heated up.
Katherine
M-my answer is a- a
Maverick
yes, tell me your answer darling
he started moving closer to my face which increased my heartbeat rapidly. How did this cold-hearted man changed so quickly ?
Maverick
Don't make me wait, darling. Tell me your answer.
His was lips were, some inches away from. I closed my eyes and whispered in one breathe
Katherine
Yes- yes..... my answer is a yes
I could feel a cold sweat drop down my forehead to my cheek and the roll down on my neck. I gulped down in fear and opened my eyes slowly.
I found the man away from me, sitting on the couch, like a King.
Maverick
Good, now let me introduce myself. It's Maverick, the Creator or you can say the God of this system world.
My breathing slowly became stable to see him far away from me.
My eyes became teary, I was afraid of him, don't why. I was feeling so nervous around him. I felt myself helpless under his cold stared.
But the controlled my tears why closing my eyes.
I was always i talkative girl but as I found that I have lung cancer. I started to distance myself from everyone and became anti-social as I was not able to meet many people in the hospital.
The most important reason for distancing myself from everyone was because I knew that I would die sooner, so I didn't wanted to make any attachments with anyone
I starred talking lesser and after a few months I became a scaredy-cat, I was not afraid of dying, but a little fear started growing inside me for human beings.
Doctor Luke helped me to come out that fear but still deep down my heart I was still afraid, and it again came out in display because of this man, Maverick.
I didn't realize when tears started rolling down my eyes.
Slowly opening my eyes once again, I rubbed my tears of with the back of my hand.
