I walk back home since there's no vehicle roaming around this time of the day. I was busy looking at my phone when I heard a grunt of a woman as I pass the dark alley. I shouldn't have mind it, but the grunt became loud, she seems like she's in pain. I look around to see any other passing pedestrian… none. I sigh and put back the phone in my pocket.

"Okay, that lady needs help and I'm right here, the only person who can help her, so I must help her then..." I muttered to myself.

I slowly enter the dark alley, letting my defense up in case someone would harm me. I tried to adjust my eyes as the moon lightened the dark side of the area. When I did, I was stunned when I saw a woman wearing a tattered dress with a dark blue stain lying in front of me. I immediately approach her and examine if she's still alive, touching her wrist and feeling pulse… yep, she's still alive. I tried to call her while tapping her face lightly but she's not responding.

"This is no good, I should call an ambulance…"

I put down my grocery bag and grab my phone in my pocket, after I input the emergency number. I stopped, realizing what this woman's blood color is, she's not human. She's a resident from the other side of this demesne, an Extrinsic, but why was she here? Deep in thoughts, her body began jerking out of control causing me to flinch and tighten my grip on my phone, damn, it almost crack. I immediately put my phone down the ground and held her in her place. The shaking and jerking lasted for a minute, she's now in her calm state. I sit beside her and rest when I heard someone talking over the phone, I think I pressed it unexpectedly.

I held it on my ear and was going to talk when I heard a cracking sound, I slowly turn my head towards the woman and saw her arching her chest up. I gasps, covering my mouth in disbelief, I can see in her tattered dress that her chest is tearing apart. As curious as anyone could be, I slowly approach her, never minding the voice emitting in my phone, and look at her chest. It's open? And there're tentacles? What the hell is this? Seems fascinating.

I was staring at it when I noticed a peach colored skin under that tentacles, I carefully move the things aside and found a baby boy, really fascinating for a person like me who's researching their kind. I carefully lift the baby and cover him with my scarf, I then averted my eyes to the woman lying in front of me, my heart stops when I saw her all black eyes looking at me. She's not moving any muscle, she just stares.

"I… I didn't meant to grab your baby, I'm sorry." I said as I give her the baby. Well, who wouldn't awoke if something's moving your insides and took something from there? She lifts her arm and lightly push the baby to me.
