"Mr Banes , I have tried everything i could . But i think it is best to keep a doctor near her ."

"Doctor , if you could suggest us someone who can be a family doctor and who can cure my daughter"

lily groans " just five more mins"

"no means no lily "

lily groans again and wakes up .

"You are so annoying sis"

lily sticks out her tongue and runs to her bathroom

"This girl😂"

"Trinity , will you be able to go by yourself?

"Yes mum. I'm not a child anymore."

"Yes yes my daughter is now a doctor and going to be a family doctor too"

My mum laughs and eats her breakfast

"Yes , my sister is a doctor of crazy people and I'm so proud of her and I'm waiting for that day when she becomes like her patient "Lily comes down from her room towards the dining table.

"Lily language!" my mum shouts at lily who just made fun of my patients.

"What language mum?" Lily in her school uniform sits down with us and starts to eat her breakfast.

"Lily , crazy is a very harsh word"

"They are crazy sis"

"Lily this is the last time i want to hear this word describing my patient from you!"

Lily sighs and eats her breakfast silently. I finish my breakfast and put my plate in the sink. I heard my mother scolding my sister silently in the dining table when i was making my ways to my room but i don't want to waste my time going there and listen to their conversation.I quickly dress up . I had chosen and kept this dress separately yesterday since it is my first day of my job as a family doctor.I want to dress nice like a respected doctor .You know first impression.

I had dropped my sister in her school.

Now, I'm on my way to my job place.

In the meantime , I will introduce myself.

Hi I'm trinity . U have already known I'm a psychiatrist . In simple, my job is to diagnose and write medicines for person who has mental illness.I have a loving mother and a stubborn sister😂. She is in her teenage period. Her name is Lily and my mother's name is Cassie. My mother and father divorced when Lily was 10 yrs old . There was no love between them . I always thought there is no fading away in love.People who are in love with each other will stay in love forever . But my parents proved me wrong. Lily is still not accepting their seperating life so she is angry to both of our parents and me too for agreeing to their separation.What can I do? It's their life. But my sister is not matured enough to understand this.

People said that I have become too matured in an early age. Family problems always tend to make children depress or mature .

I'm 26 yrs old now . I had a bf one time when i was in medical college . But he failed to understand my family conditions and my conditions and we broke up . It was good for him and for me too because at that time there was only one thing on my mind - to become a doctor and have enough money to make my mother and sister live their life fully. Even if this love word broke my family , I still want to fall in love with someone and feel the feelings of being in love one day.Until then no bf😅.

I reached the place. Their guards in the gate asked me who i am and who i am going to meet. I showed my dr. id card and then they let me in .

omg this place is like a heaven. The entrance is like a jungle . Full of trees, climbers and beautiful flowers which are planted cleanly and nicely . There is not a single leaf on the ground. Maybe they have a sweepers or caretakers for this. And then there is their house so huge like a palace in the middle of the jungle.The family who live in this place must have find peace.

Bang bang bang bang( sounds of destroying things)

The sounds of destroying things startled me and brought me back to the reality . I looked around to search for the sounds. But it was coming from this palace like house. The sounds were so contrasting looking at this place. Then reality hit me .

I walked inside the house fastly . There was no one on the groundfloor and i knew this is not a time to call someone and let them know i am here. I searched through the house to let me to the place where loud sounds were coming from . The sounds were somewhat coming from the first floor so i went up the stairs.

And then there i saw some maids scared and standing outside a room. I walked towards them . They were shocked and confused to see me.

But there was no time to explain to them .Because inside the room , there was a disaster. Inside this beautiful room , all the things were on the floor broken and there was a man and a crying woman whom i assumed was Mr Banes and Mrs Banes who was trying to calm and stop a woman . A woman of 22 or 23 yrs old who was throwing everything she touched and pulling her own hair like a frustrated woman . she had no makeup on and she was in her pajama . There was a bandage on her wrist which was falling off with some blood. She was crying and looking frustrated and angry.

And there i saw my patient.

"Grace Banes"

"Thank you , doctor😭"

" It's okay Mrs Banes . It's my job"

Then Mrs Banes ordered their maids to clean up the mess silently. Grace was sleeping silently as if the woman who just made this mess was not her.I gave her the injection to calm down and sleep with the help of some maids and her parents.

"Doctor , we are sorry . We cannot come out to welcome you. We heard from our security that you were coming .When we were about to go out , this happened."

Mr Banes Apologizes to me for not welcoming me properly.

"IT'S okay Mr Banes.I had encountered such conditions many time. And in this condition, there is no time for interaction "

Mr Banes gave me a forced smile

Mrs Banes ordered one of their maids to show me my room. The room was beautiful and calm and it was near to her daughter room too so that I can run towards it in no time when emergency come. I called my mother to inform her that i had already reached the place but the conversation continued with the story that just happened a few mins ago. I took out my heels and the dress and got in a comfy dress and laid on the bed

I never imagined myself as a family doctor before. It had been five days since Dr. Collin called me and informed me about this.

He told me that there is a wealthy family and their only daughter has mental illness. So I was confused at first why Dr. Collin told me about this as he doesn't need an advice or a suggestion from a junior doctor . Then he told me that the girl's condition worsened in this two or three days because of a boy she liked. So she was acting up and attempted to die by cutting her own wrists. So she needs someone near her like a caretaker. But no caretaker wanted to be near a person like her. On top of that , she is a stubborn and spoilt girl . So Dr. collin wanted someone who understands her condition and can solve the problem when emergency come. The person who can understand her condition the best and who can solve the problem is a doctor . But Dr. collin is a senior doctor and is very old to take care of someone. I suggested that she needed a psychologist and a nurse near her. But he told me that he wanted an experienced and expertise doctor in this field . And they have tried psychologist too but it had no improvement so he wanted me to try and be both psychologist (a fake psychologist😅) and a psychiatrist . He pleaded me to give it a try . And here i am , a junior doctor who could not say no to her senior doctor and bought by a handsome sum of money.

I woke up at the sudden sound of the thunder . It was raining outside . I slept for 2 hrs .I went near the window and looked outside . It was more beautiful and calm because of the rain . Then I went to the shower and soaked myself in the warm water. After I came out of the shower and was about to dress up , there was a knock. I quickly dressed up and told the person outside the door to wait . And there stood a maid who came to inform me to come downstairs and have something.She came at the right time , I was hungry.

I went downstairs and headed towards the dining room . There I found Mrs Banes staring at her food with a sad face. Who wouldn't be sad when her one and only daughter stays in that situation?

"Mrs Banes?" She looked up and gave me a forced smile. " Doctor , sit "

I sat down and the maids came out with some dish . "Doctor , make yourself comfortable here and think of it as your home and us as your family from now onwards" I smiled

and didn't know what to say so i thanked her and she gave me a smile which was not forced like before. I ate some and it was very tasty which can be expected from an expert chef . I told Mrs Banes that i wanted to check on her daughter. Then I went upstairs and towards her daughter's room with her.

My patient was still sleeping. Mrs Banes tried to wake her up but i told her not to . I checked her temperature , bp and oxygen level. It was all normal .We came out of her room and I told Mrs. Banes not to worry and rest and that we have to wait until she wakes up.

I came to my room .In the meantime, I checked her medical reports. It was worsening year by year but idk why because her illness wasn't that worse. In this illness, one needs more care, attention and mental peace. All this can be gotten from her parents . Up until now , I can see real love and care for their daughter from them . Something is not clicking.

"I WANT HIM! . I ONLY WANT HIM! . IF YOU CANNOT GIVE HIM TO ME , PLEASE LET ME DIE!!!"

Dr Collin had told me that my patient has a boy she likes . And this boy is also a son of a rich family and popular around girls and spoilt . This boy never ever considers my patient’s feelings seriously . So this is making my patient frustrated. But I never thought that this boy is the problem in my patient and patient’s family life. Am I going to be the love guru?

“ Mummy I want him . Just give him to me .Please mummy”

When I reached my patient’s room , I saw my patient crying and begging to her mother. Mrs. Banes stood there like a defeated mother.

Now was not the time to go inside . I want to introduce myself to her when she is in normal I mean when she is not crying . Because I’m a stranger to her until now so it’s not a good time.

I told one of the maid to give the medicines on time for today. I came to my room and opened my laptop. I searched for the name “Oliver Mellow” He is the problem. I want to know about him to make my process easier.

Oliver Mellow , youngest son of Henry Mellow and Gradia Mellow . Henry Mellow is the ceo of Global company , one of the most big companies in our city . Oliver is in the university . He wants to follow his father’s path unlike her two elder brothers who become doctor and professor. Henry may give the position of ceo to his youngest son as the other two does not want to do anything with their father’s money .

So a ceo to be . Interesting. Now I have to know the depth of her feelings for him .

Next morning , I woke up and freshen up to meet my patient . A maid came and told me that the breakfast was ready so I decided to have the breakfast first . A maid told me that MrBane had gone to the office and Mrs Banes was in her daughter’s room. I quickly had my breakfast and made my way to my patient’s room.

Mrs Banes was there with two maids . Mrs Banes smiled to her daughter and called her good girl for having her breakfast properly .

I knocked at the door to let them know I was here. They all looked at me . Mrs Banes was smiling to me but my patient was sulking.

Before i could go inside my patient shouted at me “Wait!” I knew that this was coming but still it made me startled.

“Who are you?”

Before I could introduce myself, Mrs Banes told her that I’m their new family doctor. Then Mrs Banes told me to come inside. But I know that my patient is not happy with me coming inside her room from her face . She may not like people going inside her room or her house. But I have to . To know her better .

“ Hi Grace, I’m your family doctor . If anyone in your family got hurt or ill , I’m always here for you all” I don’t want to specially tell her that I’m her doctor . Sometimes people with mental illness hated that they have an assigned doctor for them.

She acts like she is not interested and told her mother that she wanted to stay alone for now .

But I really don’t want to miss this time too . Then I saw her bandage in her wrist .

“Grace I want to check your wrist before i go out .” She sighed. I give a meaningful look to Mrs Banes . The look that I want to stay alone with her . She understood and told her daughter that she wanted to have her breakfast now . Grace agreed at last . Now there is only two of us.

I sat near her and pretended to look at her wrist . Her wrist was carefully bandaged by me yesterday so it was not necessary to look at very soon but still I had to to get some alone time with her .

“ Grace does it still hurt?”

she moves her head to say that it is not hurting

“ You need to stay out of water in this area. If not I will have to enter your room everytime you wetted this area .”

She glared at me . It was funny somehow .

“ How will I take shower then?” She complained to me like a small child .

“Let’s put plastic on top of it to avoid wetness then”

“Oh yeah I never thought of that” She said that with a wide eyes and a smile like a small child finding a solution to a big problem .

She was cute.

“What’s your name doctor?”

“Dr Trinity , I don’t like the yellow medicine . It’s very bitter even after I drank tons of water . The taste never goes away”

I know which medicine she was talking about but still to stay here longer I looked at the tablet which was on the small table near her bed .

“Is this the one Grace?”

“Yes,That one”

I pretended to look at the name of the tablet and told her that it could be replaced by another better taste tablet . At that she was very happy . She was like a child feeling happy at small small things.

I think I made some progress . I want to make friends with her first so that I can know the depths of her feelings . Only friends share each other love life’s stories .

At evening , I was talking to my mother on phone . Then someone knocked at my door . It was a maid telling me to come to Grace’s room quickly . I ran to her room . There I found her crying looking at her wrist’s bandage which was very wet .

“Calm down Grace . It will be alright . Since i have come , it will be alright. Calm down”

“It is painful doctor”

“I know but it will not be painful now “

I washed my hand quickly and put new gloves and carefully take out her old wet bandage and do necessary things .

“How did it become like this Grace?”

Mrs banes told me that Grace accidentally splashed water onto her wrist .

“ Grace from next time wear the plastic before you go to bathroom . Ok?”

She nods her head .

“Good girl”
