My name is Lucy Trignet and I am 15 years old, my mother died giving birth to me and my farther is mentally unwell due to the trama of my mothers death. I have a brother named Jake Trignet he is a worldwide famous model who blames me for my mothers death and my farthers illness. His Girlfriend Amber was once my bestie but alike all my other friends she just used me to get close to Jake, i've been working at Mike Sue's company in Sydney for 8 mounths earning $2000 a month. I got this job through conections but part of the deal was I have too pay half of my earnings for 5 months to Amber but little did I know that the deal I signed was actually for 5 years. It was my fault for not reading the contract properly, and now I have to rely on selling plants for a living as the medical bill for my farther is $1000 a mounth on my half, my brother is paying $3000 a month. It's not only my brother in this family that hates me, my farther will get a seizure everytime he see's me so I can't visit, my aunt and uncle's think im a ** beacuse of the amount of money I get and my grandparents won"t even look me in the eye's. This is the life I have to re live over and over again but I know it will get better! I just have to meet the right people!

As I am orangising dates and schedules for the company Amber comes storming over towards me "LUCY TRIGNET! WHY HAS ONLY HALF OF THIS MONTHS PAYMENT BEEN SENT?!" I stare blankly before answering " ahh! well you see i've been asked to give more money this month due to a raise in payment for my farther..." Amber's rage had filled the whole room leaving everyone in a close proximity to listen in "DO YOU THINK YOU CAN START SCAMING ME WITH THAT LIE?! WE ALL KNOW ITS MY BOYFRIEND PAYING 90% OF THE MEDICAL FUNDS! HOW COULD YOU START ABUSING THE HOSPITALITY I'VE GIVEN YOU BY GIVING YOU THIS JOB?!" Everyone in the room was now on Amber's side for the argument even though they don't understand a single thing, their opinions were purely bias! "I..I'm so sorry Amber i'll try to make enough for next month to pay you back I promise!" I really cant afford to loose this job so I can't even fight back, non of my colleagues are even trying to help the slightest they all have this disgusting smile on their faces. " Lucy here is a resignation form for you to leave the company if not signed withing 24 hours you will be fired!" Amber comes up close to me and wispers " Remember if you get fired you have to pay double the amount in our contract the next 5 years" wearing a smug look on her face she then pretends to be deeply borthered by what just happened.

All of this is just so tiresome and I just can't take it anymore, if I don't sign this form then i'll have a huge det that could be passed to my brother and if that happens there will be no acceptance ever from my family. I do as Amber suggested and signed the form then headded down to Mike's office and asked if I could resign "Miss Trignet! That would be a shame if you were to resign" Even if he sound sincere his motives are totally obvious, he's the one who wanted me out of the company. He's made my time here really difficult like extra work, extra shifts with no pay and he messes around with Amber even though she has a boyfriend giving her a bigger ego boost to do what ever she likes! "Yes sir, I have come to the decision to resign from the comany. It had become quite clear that I do not have what it takes to stay" our conversation lasted about 10 minuts longer and then I took my leave, packed my stuff and went home.

"10:56 already? damn" I take a look out side and see that its begining to rain outside I then suddenly relised that my washing was on the roof and it should be dry! "Noooo!" I ran up the staircase to the rooftop, as I turned the rusty door handle and open it a big gush of wind hits me and I feel freezeing, I run to my clothes and start to grab them as fast as I can. As I try to grab my last shirt it gets blow away by the wind and rain and I chase it before it gets over the edge, just as I was able to grab the shirt I relised were my feet were.... they were on the edge! But instead of freaking out I stare at the moonlight shining on the ocean then I look down, looking down was the worst mistake I ever made because it gave me an idea....."What if Jumping will end this sorrow?Ahh! What was I just telling myself ?! No I can make a happier life if I stay faithful! I will not be consumed but negative thoughts!" Just as I go to take a step backwards a huge blast of wind hits me and all I could see are my clothes flying in all directions and me slowly falling forward.

I could not believe my eyes! I was actually falling! "Wait! No! I don't want my life to end!" I shut my eyes tight and scream but I felt not impact nor did I feel myself falling, It wasn't cold too. I slowly open my eyes and all I see is and endless white voide...."What the...? Hello?" I turn my head around to look for anything and there I see a table and chair, it was the only thing there so I went straight to it and found a piece of paper on the table with a pen. I don't know why but I feel like I should answer the things on the paper? So I sat down and began to read, (state a superpower that you would like to have but please note that anything we deem not acceptable will not be able to be written down on this paper) A superpower? Well right now guess i'd prefer not to be able to die from height again so i'll write " can not die from falling /height" I guess that should work right? Then right before my eyes the paper turns into a golden light and burns away and slowly after that the whole voide begins to do the same. "Wait what?!" I begin to fall at a rapid speed and I can see where i'm about to land clearly so out of fear I shut my eyes tight but unlike like last time I feel the impact but it doesn't hurt strangely. When I open my eyes I see i'm on the floor surrounded by people my age and old people in white clocks, before I could say anything I look at the landscape behind then and to my shock it is notheing like i've heard or seen before!

All the stares from those around me start to change from confusion and shock, slowly turned into disgusted looks and grins. But I ignored them as I start to feel really energetic right now as if I could run a marathon! It's a super weird feel than what i'm use to that I forgot I was on the floor and forgot the people around me. "How long are you going to laze around for huh?! Do you not respect those around you for waisting time on our once in a life time chance to gain honor to ourself and family! This test is very important and your making everone wait by not paying attention! How could someone like you even enter...!" before the girl could speak and hand suddenly covers her mouth and the boy responsible began to speak to me "Even if what she said was put rudely it's true, i'm suggesting that you should just leave now before you make anymore of a secne". I scan his face he look at me like he's better even though it wasn't obvious, for me it's easy to reconise that look.... my brother alway looked at me like that. His looks and figure were really eye catching but then I relised I was still on the floor, in these's situations I have learnt it's better to accept what they say to not get harmed. "your right my apologies i'll take my leave then", as im getting up I hear a mumble for his mouth " your primary power must be pathetic for you to not try at all".

These word's were so accurate towards my personallity that my heart felt so much pain, no matter how many time's I hear it, how it makes my feel, my never response has never changed! I truly want it to, I think of what to say and how it will go in my head all the time but when it really counts I mess up. As my head hangs low and my feet are draging myself away through the small croud I hear a old mans voice vegin to speak "Lucy Trignet. I have not given you permission to leave, turn around and keep quiet" even though i've only said one sentence I now have to remain quiet, I can hear the scoffs of many before the man spoke again. " You all have come of age to participate in Centria's test. You'll receive you secondary power before going into the chosen location that you'll spend a week in. For a reminder your primary power is what you are born with and a secondary power is one we awaken for you, it can not be awaked by yourself only by golden shardes. Your secondary power will either benifit or empower your first power, and in some rare cases you may not have a secondary if you primary one is weak. The rules are you may make a team before hand or fly solo, it will be impossible to harm a team member even if you tryed and you will not gain anything from harming other contestants. Your goal is too survive a week with no help, you can't leave the area you can only use the retreat band to exit but by doing that you will be instantly disqualify from gaining a rank. The retreat band instantly teleports you right back here, if removed there is no penalty but the band will no longer be active. Dangers consist of other raises such as wood arniks, gobils, fairies and tranks, they are commonly found all around the area we have selected. Uncommon raises that are around certain area would be flinks, enemy golams and glow germs. Going over mount terra and falling into the lands of demise is still counted in the area but surviving the fall is near impossible for you, your best bet it to use your retreat band. The explanation is now over, follow the five masters in white to recive your secondary power".

Powers? Weird glows things... what? What on earth are these people on? Now i'm stuck in the middle of this crowd! Theres now way to get out of here, I begin to freak out! I ask myself the 5 w's who, what, when, where and why am I here? And god why am I only thinking of this now! My heads going to explode, my energy is just now going down I feel so physically well but my mind is screaming for help. We arive right in frount of this mountain looking area after we were just in a plain scenery looking area, my mind can catch up with all of this! I cant even hear what people are saying now, I know my face has a clear look of fear. As my mind keeps running I feel a tap on my shoulder and my head looks strait towards the old man in a white clocke "Lucy Trignet this is not the time to regret you are here now and there is no turning back, place your hand ontop of the stone in my hand". what doea he mean I can't go back "umm look sir I think there was a mistake I never willingly came here so if I could just leave please?", the man infrount of me look in confusion then when back to a sirouse look, " Miss Trignet we gained your parents agreement and saw you willingly walk here on your own, try not to cause another unessasary event like earlier". He takes my hand and the stone began to glow bright, It feels like it has a stong forced but im not effected at all. As the glow dies down he then guides my towards the long path to the mountains and told me to wait with the others till everone is ready. It didn't take long for that to happen as my mind was so focused on what just happened I didn't even notice that the retreat band was already placed on my wrist.

The group of people my age mostly all looked fierce and ready to go while I was just trembling, "Alright now is the time to enter and there is no turning back untill a week is over, so let the test begin". As soon as the old man said that everone began to run besides my and this other girl, this girl look very fragile and meek. She began to cry and beg to not take the test and I thought if she could leave then so could I but how wrong I was. They looked down at her like she was prey and the all of a sudden a sword was pulled out of no where and she had instantly been stabed through the chest. "w-w-w what did you...!" As I spoke they quickly looked at me and my instincts told me to run away, and thats what I did, I ran strat towards the path that leads to the mountains and did not stop at all.

Hours past and ever since I ran from the men in clockes I have been restless and scared, why did they kill her? Was it even nessisary to do that! She was around my age! only 15! I don't want to see them again ever, what will happen if I do? Will they kill me too? No surely not, I enetered their test grounds there's no reason for me to die I hope. Even though I have this weird energy boost I felt it slowly die down the fast few hours and i'm begining to be hungry too. I strayed off the mountain a bit ago and now I ended up in a forest, the mountain was still in a clear veiw past the trees and it may only take about 10-20 minutes to get there. But right now im hungry i'll look for a cave there after i've found something to munch on. Time started to fly by and everything i've seen was in a distance but didn't look like anything i've seen, one look really glowy and another was like a tree in the shape and size of a person. I feel it's a good idea for me to avoid people as I didn't give off a good impression.

I saw a rabbit just ahead and I began to feel adrenaline throught my entire body and my eyes wouldn't stray from my target, all I have right now are my primal instincts and im going to follow it! Not taking my eyes off the rabbit it flicks its ears up like it's heard me I get ready to pounce for it and then off it goes, but now way was I letting it go! It was the only thing that has looked edible this entire time, I began to run as soon as it did, it was turning behind trees and into bushes but I wasn't ready to give up! So I dived head first in the bushes and it surprising not thick so fell strait though the it. I was falling face first into the dirt so I closed my eyes shut and used my arms to cover my face so I don't injur my eyes. After landing I hear more bushes rattel and instanly think the rabbit was getting away so opened my eye's but what I saw was not what I had expected! Two wooden looking legs were infrount of me and my eyes slowly scaned the rest of what was in frount of me and too my horror it looked like a person carved out of wood! It was stairing right at me with black shiny looking beads for eyes, I was frozen still and could not move. Then out of nowhere it moved it head sideways still looking at me and made a high pitched screech, making me cover my ears and look down. After the screech I quickly got up and moved backwards. "hole cow..... that things can't possibly be alive?!", my eyes didn't move from the direction of that wooden thing at all.

It began to walk forward too and then it swang its arm but it was too far to hit me like I meen way too far then *Creek* that all I heard before something hit me from the side, It was a tree branch! "Ahhh!" I screamed in a high pitch due to the pain and fear. Then as im on the ground I see that thing swing its arm again but this time in a down motion then I looked up and see a really big tree branch comming down towards me, I quickly roll to my side non stop and I feel adrenaline kick into my system and I just bolt up and ran as fast as I could! I didn't even look behind me and all I could hear were screechs and multiple crashes. After running non stop I felt completly drained and then I felt major ache in my arm were the firsttree branch hit me. I'm now walking really slow towards the mountain thinking about what just happened. "That was definitely not something you would find in the woods.... is this truly not Earth but Centria as the man said?" I continued to mutter to myself then I came to a stop when I see this knee high round scaly thing right in frount of me, it's scales look super sharp. I'm now super cautious due to my last encounter, it wasn't moving or doing anything at all then it began to walk forward, did it not see me? That for the best though I turn in a different direction towards the mountain slowly.

The sun has began to set and my belly was grumbling but my mind was replaying that encounter with that wooden thing over and over again. "This isn't Earth and here i'm not the person hated by everyone anymore, that wooden and small prickly proved it aswell as the people I met before. So whats this about primary and seconday abilitys then? Surly I have one right? I mean the stone did glow! Just wow too much information i'll worrie about that later..." as i'm at the mountain terra I believe? I could smell something burning like a fire then off in the distance I see the small smoke on the edge. I make my direction that way cautiously and Along the way I see a path going up and another towards the direction of the fire, I kept that path in mind in case stuff don't go right beacuse I don't want to be in that woods this late at night just in case if those things are more active then. I'm close enough to hear people talking so I begin to crouch down and move silently so that I won't be detected, I get beind this rock and slowly peek my head out to see what time of people are there and to my discust it's that girl from before. The girl siting around the fire is with 3 other people teo males and another female I think. When I'm looking at the dudes I reconise another face! It's the one that told me to leave! Then I just remembered that you could form teams at the beginning before you entered this area, oh damn! Stupid brain! Why were you so fixated on other stuff exept for the that would help you! But then again.... I didn't really give a good first impression I would probably end up alone even if I asked to joing a team.

I begin to peek my head out again and the notice that there was some dead rabbit's right in my arms reach, who did I miss that? The only problem my arm would be visible if I were to try and grab it..... hmmmm, guess im going to have to do a dine and dash! So my plan was to quickly put my arm out to get one of the rabbits then dash towards the path I saw before and see were that gets me! There's no way that there going to give me any food. Okay I can do this yeah! I slowly reach my arm out as low as I can to the ground but it was more than arms reach my head and should was totaly exposed! Then I met eye contact with one of the people sitting around the fire, "What do you think you doing huh!" The rest of the group turn their head to me and then I quickly grabed the rabbit got up and ran as fast as I could! "Don't let her get away! Jake! Follow me!" I ran as towards the direction of the path I saw before but I was low on stanima and they were gaining on me! Just as I start to turn the corner into the path I saw earlier the girl grabed my shirt collar and I get flung backwards and my body slides against the dirt and rocks. I raise my head to see a boy still in the distance running as fast as he could to where we are, how did this girl catch up to my so quickly?! What are they going to do to me? "Oi you there, why did you think it was a good idea to steal from us?" This girl straired me straight in the eye's glaring a bit too, "I was just hungry...","Hungry? So you thought stealing was your only option instead of asking for some?" "N-No! Of course not I just didn't know people who all ready made a team would help so I-I-I" I truly didn't know how to finish that sentence, by now the guy who was in the distance just got too us.

"Who are- Wait! Your that girl groveling girl from before! Tch! And too think I was going to let you off this time". The girl turned her head to the other person and they just nodded in agreement, "Get up now!" As soon as those words were spoken I knew I was in trouble. They directed me to walk in frount of them towards the way I was running too, words were spoken but only to tell me to 'Hurry up' then shove me or they would talk amongst themselfes. It was now pitch black with only the moon as our light source, everything became scarier and my heart has not calmed down in hours. "Oi Jake whats the hold up? we need a light source", " Well I can't exactly use my hand now you know! My secondary power has prevented me from getting burnt, Damn and here I thought your secondary power was ment to befit the primary one not limit it". They spent most of the time talking about getting a light source which is something I wish they would find too. Around 10 minutes passed and they were lucky enough to find a thick dead root sticking out of the side of the mountain. My feet were now in pain due to continously walking everywere and with my arm injured I was not in the best shape, we finnaly made a stop at this cliff but all you see ahead is a mist or cloud scenery when you look down which means it's a death drop. My breathing was really shallow here too, I found it hard to look strait. "G****et her arm and burn off the retreat band so she can't survive the drop", "Why do we need to kill her this way?", " We are nobels if it were said that we killed a helpless girl then we would surly be looked down apon". I was barely standing as they were aproching me, my two sholder's were grabed then the band on my wrist was burned off. All I see were the disucsting faces as I slowly felt myself falling backwards. Am I going to die by falling to my death again? Yeah I am... and just after I found out that I could start a whole knew life, I close my eye's and just let myself feel the wind being pushed on my back and relax.
