It has been six years since when mom passed away , dad is trying so hard to raise i and brother Yize while i as a defiant teenager lust after my handsome tall and charming elder brother who helps dad all the time to earn enough money for us to pay the bills .

Well it is another annoying Monday in prestigious high school ; with all the teachers walking on their toes to please the pot belled principal who knows nothing but to complain and sleep with beautiful Female teachers , what a lustful principal i must say.

Am still lost in my thoughts when my best friend Ai approaches me with excitement written all over her "Lily Lily!!!" she called out before finally tapping me on the shoulder "guess what" she said

"i am not in for a guessing game today Ai...so just tell me straight" i said

"My crush asked me out" she said

" Oh my God really??? congratulations bestie" i said with happiness from with in .

NOTE: Ai's crush is Muchen ... She liked Muchen the moment he stepped into prestigious high.

I thought to myself ( when will brother Yize notice me ) ... My bestfriend noticed my drifting mind instantly calls me back to reality

"Hey! are you thinking about your brother again " she said

" Ai , when will brother Yize notice me " i said

"Come on , one day you will get that love you desire .. Anyways you are both not bloody related so you still have a chance" she said

" But....."

"No buts just be patient" Ai said

i smiled and we both settled down to begin the lecture for the day .....

"Such a boring week in school" i said to my best friend

" indeed , Miss Min's class gave me a tough time i couldn't understand a think but anyways TGIF " she said while we left the school premises

" i cant wait to watch the latest episode of my favourite series this Saturday ..." i said

" oh come on you always stay at home all weekends just to watch that series and keep an eye on your handsome Prince charming ... But this weekend is gonna be different for me because am going out with Muchen this Saturday we wanna watch Dead zone at the cinema" she said excitedly while jumping and walking down the school road

" ok love birds have fun and leave the lonely me in my cage" i said trying to fake my Jealousy ...

I finally made my way home after a long day in school as always am home alone with a note from dad stating that he left my meal in the freezer ... After my usual routine i thought of a way to kill boredom i read some comics and watched some top notch series to keep myself busy and wait for dad and brother yize ... Finally the sunset, brother Yize came home with dad and i ran down to give them a big hug but intentionally extending brother Yize's so i can have his awesome smell all over me . Brother Yize is a lover of Video games so we do play a lot together but this time i decided to make tonight different, i decided that i was going to confess my feelings for him , so i waited for dad to go to his room so i and brother Yize Will be completely alone .

Everything went as planned dad said his goodnight while i and brother Yize played video game and in the heat of the moment when i felt i had my chance brother Yize received a call from someone he saved the individual's number as "My Heart's want" at first i thought it was just a random person until when he finally closed the conversation with " I love you"....

I felt my world tearing apart like it was the end of the world i lost my mind for a second but i decided to gather courage and ask him who it was and his reply broke my heart

" Oh that was my new girlfriend. i forgot to introduce you two " he said...

I felt tears gathering but i tried my best not to let them fall when i felt i couldn't hold back i made an excuse to leave so as to cry my heart out

as the tears came down rolling like balls so did the courage i gathered to confess my feelings .

It has been days since brother Yize told me about his new girlfriend i felt listless , broken , shattered which other can i use to classify my despair Hmmmm.

"Lily can you lend me you ear piece.... mine seems to be broken i cant get them to work" He said with his cheerful childish look

i got lost while staring that i didn't hear anything he said afterwards but the crashing of the plates by dad did justice to my lost mind

"Come on did you hear your brother" dad said

i hurriedly passed him the earpiece and tried to distract my self with my assignments so as to keep my embarrassment ...

The next morning i hurriedly went to school because i was an hour and few minutes late , i couldn't sleep much last night because i couldn't get over the embarrassment

while rushing down the road i meant the school's thug who had been hiting on me since first grade , He and his friends were regular late comers who dont come to school until we are almost done with the first lesson

"Hey Lily" he said in a disgusting manner with his unbuttoned uniform and his big fat round cheeks and his big stomach which is the same size with his father's who is our principal

"Hey jinchen" i replied while walking as fast as i can .

Finally we are on lunch break , Ai comes over to my seat with her boyfriend muchen and we had a conversation for a while before Muchen excused himself and Ai throws the question that i knew was bugging her since i got to school

"why did you come late " she asked

i giggled and replied

" i woke up super late today that i had to jog down to school" i said

"oh i thought you went hiking with your brother instead " she said sheepishly

i gave a sadish look and she instantly understood

"So you aren't cool with him yet?" she asked

i shake my head to the question

" well i understand the feeling" she said

She tried to change the topic in other to revive the mood before the break came to an end

and we resumed the daily activities
