In the Story:

In an office in Seoul, a girl was working with a lot of employees. She had a lot in her mind about work. Suddenly the cleaner came to clean the area.

Employee 1:Moni come to eat.

Someone with sweet smile: Hey dumpling do fast ,we will eat together

Moni:No I have a lot of work. You guys eat ,I'll go later.

Suddenly a lot of dust came towards Moni and she started having breathing problems. She has always suffered with them.

She hurriedly looked through her bag but she couldn't find her inhaler.

She slowly lost consciousness. The last thing she heard was her employees calling her.

Someone was so much anxious for her .He immediately called ambulance.

When she opened her eyes, she saw herself on a hospital bed.

Moni:Why am I here?

Mom:Moni are you ok?

Moni:Yeah.

Mom:Moni, doctor told me that you need a break.

Moni:What?! No way!

Mom:Come on. It's important, I don't want you to be sick.

Suddenly her boss came.

Boss:Moni, you should take a break. Is a month enough?

Moni:But-

Boss:Your health is our main priority.

Mom:Listen, it is important for you, I don't want to lose you.

Moni:But I am not gonna die. It's just asthma.

Mom:Still you should, it's quite serious. Doctor said you need to take a break and visit the countryside. I have booked tickets for you to go to Jeju island tomorrow where you are going to stay at my best friend's house.

Moni:You mean aunt Byun?

Mom : Yes she's going to take care of you. I talked to her a few hours ago and she agreed. She is really excited to see you.She also has two sons who can keep you company. Appa is abroad for work so I only have you and I don't want you to be sick ok?

Moni:Fine. I'll go.

Mom:You are going to love it there! There are going to be beautiful birds and flowers. It is spring so it will be beautiful and you will get fresh air. You can even ride boats.

When Moni looked around, she noticed someone is standing there with sad face .

??: So you are going to Jeju for 1 month ?! I will miss you dumpling

Moni : We will meet after 1 month .You should go home now

Moni's mom smiled at him and said : Yeah you should go home .She will be fine don't worry ok

Moni smiled at him and bid goodbye.

Moni's mom : Moni isn't he so sweet? I really like him .He calls you dumpling, so sweet

Moni uninterested: I know mom you like him. We should go home too

After a bit, they went home and her mom got her things packed.

The next day:

Moni was getting on the train, her mom was waving at her.

Mom:Moni, remember to enjoy and behave well.

Moni:Mom I'm not a baby. I understand.

Mom:Alright but you're a baby to me. And talk less ok .You are so talkative

Moni:Mom!!Ok mom love you bye!

Mom:Bye Moni.

The train left and her journey began.

Meanwhile at the Byun house :

A family was eating and gossiping .They were a mom and her two sons .Suddenly she said .....

Mrs Byun : Baekhyun can you please pick up my best friend's daughter from the station today? You know the one I talked to you about yesterday.

Baekhyun : Mom I'm busy. I don't want to it.

Beomgyu:Mom I'll do it.

Mrs Byun : No I can't trust you, what if you get lost?

Beomgyu:No I won't. I'm not a kid.

Mrs Byun:But you act like one.

Beomgyu :How old is she?

Mrs Byun:23

Beomgyu:She's the same age as me so what's the problem?

Mrs Byun : I can't trust you, you'll probably get lost.Guess I have to go.

Baekhyun : Fine I'll go.

Mrs Byun : And Baekhyun, we need to clear your room out and you are going to stay in Beomgyu's room. She will stay in your room

Baekhyun : Why? Is she a princess?

Mrs Byun : She is sick, Baekhyun. Your room has a great view and she can get a lot of fresh air so it's perfect for her.

Beomgyu : And you can spend more time with me hyung.

Baekhyun with annoyed face : Fine.

Mrs Byun : Ok Beomgyu it's your duty to take care of his room.

Beomgyu : Got it.

Baekhyun got ready to leave.

Mrs Byun : Wait, take this.

Baekhyun : So I have to hold this signboard for her?

Mrs Byun : Yes, or else she won't recognize you.

Baekhyun : I am convinced that she is a princess or celebrity. I feel like a secretary. You know what, you should have prepared a car like Rolls Royce or some kind of carriage for the princess.

Mrs Byun : Now finish your nonsense and get her. Behave nicely with her.

Baekhyun : Ok mom.

Baekhyun left for the station.

Baekhyun while holding the signboard : Why does this feel so ridiculous? Forget it.

At the station:

Moni wasn't feeling too good on the train.

Moni : I hope it's better after I get off.

After a bit, Moni got off. She was looking around and noticed a handsome guy  holding a signboard and checking the time. She saw her name on the signboard. and went towards him.

Moni in mind : I don't know which son he is but he looks nice. He is quite handsome.

Moni stood in front of him

Baekhyun : Umm excuse me but can you move? I'm looking for someone. If you stand here, she won't be able to see.

Moni : But I am Moni. Cha Moni.

She put her hand forward for a handshake.

Baekhyun : We don't have time. Also you left your luggage.

Moni : But it's really heavy. Are you gonna make a girl do it?

Baekhyun annoyedly : Hold this.

He handed her the signboard and picked the luggage up.

Baekhyun : What did you put inside it? It's like bricks.

Moni : I'm gonna stay for a month.

Baekhyun grunting : Let's go already.

Moni : Alright, don't be so blunt.

Baekhyun in mind : Can I not even say what I want? Am I her secretary? She's like some celebrity.

Moni looked at the signboard.

Moni : It's nice but there are no flowers.

Baekhyun sighed : Flowers for what? Are you a celebrity?

Moni : No, it's just something you should do to welcome someone.

Baekhyun : Whatever. Can we go or do I have to wait for your permission?

Moni : Fine let's go.

Moni in mind:He's the complete opposite of what I thought. He's a mean weirdo. How am I gonna live here for a month with this weirdo?

Baekhyun put the luggage away and they got in the car.

Baekhyun started driving.

Moni : Are you aunt Byun's older son or younger son? What's your name?

Baekhyun : I am Byun Baekhyun and I am the older son, two years older than you.

Moni : How did you know?

Baekhyun : Mom told me. Now can you please let me focus?

Moni : This is so quiet. So you are my oppa. Baekhyun oppa.

Baekhyun : Don't call me that. I don't like being called oppa

Moni : It sounds nice.

Moni in mind : He's so fussy.

Moni:I am excited to stay there and meet your younger brother.

Moni : Good. Wow the flowers are so beautiful.

Baekhyun : I know there isn't a more beautiful place than Jeju.

Moni : Have you ever been to Seoul??

Baekhyun : No. I have only seen it on tv.

Moni : If you go to Seoul, you won't wanna come back. I'm already missing Seoul.

Baekhyun : Have you seen the weather here? I hope you don't settle to stay here after 1 month, although I wouldn't be surprised.

Moni : Never. I don't have anyone to stay here for.

Baekhyun : I guess that's true.

Then they both looked at each other.

They both looked at each other.

Baekhyun : Can you please not talk much? I have to focus.

Moni : You know I can drive too? I can talk and drive.

Baekhyun : Do you want to switch with me?

Moni : No. I don't know the streets.

Baekhyun : Then please stay quiet. I am not like you.

Moni : Fine. (She mumbled) You're so boring.

Baekhyun : Did you say something?

Moni : No. Focus.

The rest of the ride was silent.

Baekhyun : Why is it so quiet all of a sudden?

He turned around and saw that Moni was asleep.

Baekhyun : No wonder. At least she's not gonna annoy me now.

He continued driving.

After a while they stopped.

Baekhyun : We are here.

He left the car and opened the door to Moni's seat.

He went a bit close to her and tapped her on the shoulder.

Baekhyun softly : Hey wake up.

Moni moves slightly and opened her eyes.She saw Baekhyun's face is very close to her

Moni : Ahh go away!

She pushed Baekhyun. Baekhyun got hit in the head by the car.

Baekhyun : Ah my head!!  Calm down. I was trying to wake you up. We have arrived.

Moni : Oh sorry. I panicke- Woah.

Moni moved Baekhyun aside and left the car and started walking towards the house.

Moni : This is a beautiful house with a nice garden. This is awesome.

Baekhyun : Hey celebrity! Who is going to take your luggage?

Moni : You are mean. I told you it's heavy, and I just woke up.

Baekhyun sighed : Fine.

Baekhyun carried the luggage down.

They both entered the place and rang the doorbell.

A lady with a cheerful smile opened the door.

Mrs Byun : Aigoo it's Moni. How are you? Come in. Baekhyun bring her luggage.

Moni : Aunt Byun! You look just as beautiful as you looked years ago.

Mrs Byun : Oh you are a sweetheart. You are so pretty.

Baekhyun : Can I come in now? Have you finished your conversation?

Mrs Byun : Baekhyun don't be so rude.

Suddenly a cheerful boy was running downstairs.

??? : Hey! Come in.

They all entered and sat down on the sofa.

??? : Hi my name is Beomgyu and I am the younger brother. I am the same age as you.

Moni : That's great. My name Cha Moni. I hope we can be good friends. Can we travel around Jeju?

Beomgyu : Sure but not today.  I think you need some rest. I cleared out hyung's room. I am really excited.

Moni : Me too. We can play games later on. Do you have video games?

Beomgyu : Yeah I do. I love games.

Mrs Byun : He is always with games. He has nothing else to do. At least Baekhyun works.

Beomgyu : Mom!

Moni:But aunt Byun, Beomgyu is really nice .He will work very soon don't worry.

Beomgyu : Aww Moni you are so sweet.

Moni : You are sweet too but your brother is little bit cold I  guess

Baekhyun : Me?! Cold?! No. I was just being straightforward.

Beomgyu : You are right Moni! He is a cold guy.

Baekhyun : Beomgyu! You are not gonna support your brother?!

Mrs Byun: That is true though. He can be cold but deep inside, he is a very sweet boy. Baekhyun behave nicely while she's here ok?

Baekhyun with uninterested face : Ok mom.

Mrs Byun : Beomgyu show her her room.

Beomgyu : Ok. Let's go!

Moni : Yeah.

Moni in mind : At least I have a fun guy to spend time with instead of that meanie.

They went to her room.

Moni : Wow the view is great. I know it's gonna be a fun here. It will be even better during daytime.

Beomgyu : Yeah, this is the best place I have ever been too.

Moni : Where have you ever been?

Beomgyu : Only Jeju. I never left.

Moni smiled 

Moni : You're cute. You should visit Seoul one day. It's a very big, modern and cool place.

Beomgyu : I'll see. I bet it's not better than Jeju.

Moni : But it's not worse than Jeju either.

They both were talking continuously with giggling

Baekhyun : What are you two doing?

Moni flinched : You scared me.

Baekhyun : Sorry. Did you guys finish whatever you were talking about? I just wanted to take my book. And Beomgyu, bring the luggage.

Beomgyu : Please hyung you do it.

Baekhyun : I did it all the time though.

Beomgyu : Please hyung!

He gave Baekhyun puppy eyes and hugged him.

Baekhyun : Alright I'll do it. You know I can't refuse you.

Moni was watching them.

Moni in mind:I guess he isn't all that bad, but still he is cold. At least to me he is.

Baekhyun : And you, can you pass me that book?

She saw a book on the bedside table.

Moni : Here.

She handed the book.

Baekhyun : Ok I'm going.

Moni in mind : He didn't even say thanks.

Baekhyun brought the luggage.

Baekhyun : Here. Take your precious brick load of luggage.

Moni : Thank-

Baekhyun immediately left.

Moni : Beomgyu why does your brother behave like this ?

Beomgyu : He is always like this. Ignore him.

Baekhyun went to his room.

Baekhyun : Those two are gonna be a chaotic mess.My brother is so childish and that celebrity is so talkative and annoying

Suddenly Baekhyun got a call. He received the call

Baekhyun : Hello Sehun, Hi..

Sehun : Baekhyun-ah how did it go today? How did the person you went to pick up look?Tell me something about her .Is she pretty ,cute or hottie??

Baekhyun : Why are you so interested? She is somewhat pretty.

Sehun : You can never compliment can you? You know I don't have a girlfriend.

Baekhyun : Haha so what? I don't have a girlfriend either but I am still enjoying my life and I like it more without one. Anyways what did you want to tell me?

Sehun : I am coming over to your house tomorrow. I have a holiday.I have to meet her . Introduce her to me tomorrow.

Baekhyun : Great. Alright flirty prince. you tomorrow.

Sehun : Bye.

Baekhyun cut the call went to take a shower.

Beomgyu was entering his room which he shares with Baekhyun and was talking to Moni

Beomgyu : So this is my room. Now hyung is gonna be here too.

Moni : It's big. Looks really comfortable.

Moni was suddenly not feeling very well.

Beomgyu : Are you ok?

Moni : Can you open the windows?

Beomgyu : Sure.

Moni : Thanks.

Beomgyu : I am thirsty. Wait here, I will bring juice for both of us.

Beomgyu went downstairs.

Moni was looking outside the window.

She saw a park with a lot of cherry blossom trees.

She suddenly heard someone come.

She was turning around

Moni :Oh Beom- Ahh!!!

???:Ahhh. You're here?!

It was half ***** Baekhyun.

Moni while throwing a pillow at him : How can you just come like that?!

Baekhyun dodged the pillow : This is my room so I can come whenever I want.

Moni : You weirdo.

Beomgyu was coming quickly with two glass of juice.

Beomgyu : What happened? What is all the argument about? Hyung?

Baekhyun covered himself with the pillow.

Baekhyun : Don't look at me, and LEAVE!

Moni annoyedly : Ok ok.

Moni left the room and Baekhyun slammed the door.

Baekhyun : Why did you her bring here?

Beomgyu : I didn't know you were here. Besides she is going to be a part of our family so it's fine.

Baekhyun : But- Fine. Now go, I have to get changed.

Meanwhile Moni:

Baekhyun was too busy to hear their conversation but their loud cheers and games annoyed Baekhyun a lot.

Mrs Byun : Baekhyun you have to cle- wait where are you going?

Baekhyun was raging and he went to the mischievous duo.

Baekhyun : Can you two please be quiet? I am getting really distracted. It's so annoying.

Moni with a sassy look : Geez you are so sensitive. It's just fun. If you don't like it don't listen.

Beomgyu : Yeah hyung, she's right.

Baekhyun : I really can't deal with you two.

Baekhyun's face was really red. He left with anger.

Moni : I think he was extremely angry. Maybe we should be more quiet?

Beomgyu : Yeah I guess. He's a very sensitive person, especially to noise.

After a bit:

Mrs Byun : Now Baekhyun you are done with cleaning. We are going to eat dinner soon.

Baekhyun with a smile : Ok mom.

Baekhyun went to the living room. The two were watching a movie.

Baekhyun : Give me the remote.

Moni: What?

Baekhyun : Give me the remote.

Moni : You could have said it more nicely.

Moni handed him the remote. She noticed that he was quite frustrated.

Baekhyun immediately sat next to Beomgyu. He put on news on tv.

Moni : Hey you are so boring.

Mrs Byun : Dinner is ready.

They were eating together when..

Moni:Ahh this is so spicy!!

Baekhyun:What are you talking about? It's not spicy at all.

Moni : I can't eat spice.

Mrs Byun : We do eat quite a bit of spice. I'll reduce the amount of spice from tomorrow onwards.

Baekhyun : But mom, I like it like this.

Mrs Byun : Baekhyun, you don't want the poor girl to suffer do you?

Baekhyun with irritation : Fine I guess.

Baekhyun noticed that Moni was tearing up so he gave her a glass of water.

Moni : Thanks.

After a bit.

Moni : Peas, I hate peas. They taste weird.

Baekhyun : You are a picky princess. Just eat them. They are good for health.

Baekhyun noticed Moni's disgusted face after eating the peas.

Baekhyun in mind :She is such an irritating person.

After a bit longer:

Moni : Oppa can you pass me the salt.

Baekhyun : Get it yourself. You are not that short.

Mrs Byun : Come on Baekhyun, give it to her. What happened to you  huh?

Baekhyun took the salt container and slammed it in front of Moni.

Moni in mind : Guess he is still angry at me for being sassy. Well whatever. He'll get better soon.

Beomgyu and Moni were chatting.

Moni : It's nice having someone of my age and someone to take care of me.

Beomgyu : I know! I hope you enjoyed it today. Tomorrow we will explore around Jeju, right hyung?

Baekhyun : Do whatever you want. I'm done eating.

Moni : So quickly? He only ate a bit.

Beomgyu : That's how he always is.

Baekhyun went outside to get some fresh air.

Baekhyun : Oh those flowers look nice,even in the dark.

He went further away.

All of them finished dinner and went to their room.

Moni : I really need some fresh air.

She went to Beomgyu's room and knocked on the door.

The door was open so she entered to see a sleeping Beomgyu. Baekhyun wasn't there.

Moni : Guess I'll go by myself.

Moni : Aunt Byun I'm going outside.

Mrs Byun : Alright be careful, don't go too far away.

Moni went outside. The beautiful stars were twinkling brightly in the dark night. The cold breeze was extremely refreshing.

Moni : This is what was missing in Seoul. I should probably call mom.

Moni on call : Mom I am here at the garden.

Mom : Oh how is it going? Are you having a good time?

Moni : It's going great aside from a jerk.

Mom : Who are you talking about?

Moni : Nothing.

Mom : You know when you were little, I thought of you getting married to Baekhyun when you grow up.

Moni : Baekhyun oppa?! No way. I will never.

Mom : I know, I get it. Here someone also likes you a lot

Moni:We are just friends. Nothing more.

Mom:But he likes you and he is a good guy.

Moni:He is just a good friend to me and I don't like him romantically. I told you before

Mom : But you can change your mind in the future. You can accept him. And you both will look perfect together.

Moni : Mom stop talking about him . I don't want to talk about him right now.You know I only like him as my bestie

Mom:Alright. How is everything else going?

Moni : Nothing much. I made good friends with Beomgyu. Aunt is also very sweet and caring.

Mom : That's great. Beomgyu is a sweet child. And she is my bestfriend after all. It's getting late, go to sleep soon ok?

Moni suddenly noticed a black figure far away.

She went closer to the garden gate.

That figure suddenly turned around and started walking towards her.

???:Why are you so scared? Don't go further back!

Moni kept stepping back quickly and tripped over a big rock.

??? : Hahaha I told you not to.

Moni : Ahh Oppa?

Baekhyun : I told you not to call me that. Hahahaha.

Moni : Whatever.

Moni in mind : This is the first time I have seen him laugh. He is so mean.

Moni : Can you help me get up? Please? My back hurts.

Baekhyun smirk : Do it yourself.

He went past her. Moni barely got up.

Moni in mind : HE IS SUCH A JERK!!

She was about to kick Baekhyun's back when Baekhyun turned out.

Baekhyun : What were you about to-

Moni flinched and as she tried to stand normally, she fell.

Moni was really angry while  Baekhyun was laughing and making fun of her.

Moni : Ahh it hurts. I don't think I can walk anymore.

Baekhyun : You fell again!! I guess you should learn how to walk first. You are so over dramatic. Get a hold of yourself. Don't think I am a male lead and you are a female lead and I am gonna carry you.

Baekhyun in mind : She's so ridiculous.

Baekhyun : It's cold outside so come in quickly.

Baekhyun went inside to his room.

Moni in anger : Ahhh! I am so embarrassed. 'Cold outside'? He acts like he is caring but he is actually a meanie. Mean weirdo.

She quickly got up and went inside.

At night in their room.

Baekhyun : She's such a stupid and clumsy person. I guess life will be more hard now.

He fell asleep..

Meanwhile:

Moni in bed : I have never met such a boring and rude person. How can I live here for so long? Well at least I have Beomgyu to accompany me.

Moni fell asleep as she was thinking about Baekhyun.
