Demon With An Angel's Hearth

Episode 1

Prologue

- “You can stay here, till your bones rot!” – Those words had me completely broken down. What is family? What is tenderness? What is love? These questions didn't stop circling inside my mind. The same things again and again, but there was never an answer. I tried to run so many times, but even when I thought I did I was like a bird in a cage - with broken wings. I was never going to get out of this prison. Why am I not like the others? Why does everything has to be so hard? Why can’t I have the life the others have, but instead I have to have their leftovers? What did I do to deserve this punishment… - this was one more sleepless night. How many times had he questioned himself those questions? Night after night… even till now he still couldn't find a answer… . The creatures from his race didn't have a family name. They were given only one name. The name they carried in the eternity. For his name there were going to be legends, even after his dead. Yuki… the Death bringer.

Episode 1

- “Hey! Get up, it’s time for work!” The commander yelled – “The cold voice from which I shivered every time I heard it. Even after so many ears nothing has changed” Yuki thought . – “Time for work “Princess”. Here are your coordinates. You have time till tomorrow morning to liquidate them.”

- “Yes sir. I’ll get to work immediately.” – Yuki said.

- “And watch out not to hurt yourself this time, like the last one. Till when you are going to count on the Lord to clean up your mess. You, you are the only one that uses privileges! I don’t know what have you done so much, but don’t think we will behave the same way he does. For us you are nothing.” – The commander looked at him with hate and contempt. Ever since when he came here the demons didn’t count him as one of them. Wherever he went he felt the same.

- “I’m sorry, sir. I’ll be more careful from now on.” – The man walked out of the room.

The boy got up from the bed. He was wearing the trousers from his uniform and a black vest. He likes to sleep as naked as he can. Most of the time he had very high temperature. It was driving him mad. Every time that he fined a cold spot, he enjoyed it as much as he could.

In the Underground kingdom there were a lot of rumors about him. The most famous was that he is cursed. There was a huge tattoo on his chest that showed that. Even though no one had seen his chest. His entire torso was bandaged with cloth. No matter how much he tried to explain to them, that his bandages were for his wounds, no one believed him. But with his continuous wounds there was not much that he could do. He pushed away the thoughts that were occupying his mind. He put on his uniform. He took his weapons and got out of the room. The room had only one bed and one small desk. It looked like a cell than a normal room, but it didn’t matter to him. Here was dark anyway. Even thought there was a window in the room but it was useless. The warrior walked down the rock corridor. Even though the buildings size and its structure like a labyrinth, for him it was like a child’s play. For the years that he was here, he had memorized every corridor and piece of the kingdom. He walked out slowly. He crossed some streets with very little light on them and he got to the exit.

-“ Are you going out again?” – The voice of the old man echoed in the air. He was sitting on a few rocks, covered in moss that looked like a chair. He was here from a hundreds of years and even the cold rock was comfortable to him now.

- “Good day Keeper.” – Yuki said.

He made a small bow to show his respect. The old man made a small smile. The giant metal doors in front opened and he got out. As soon as he stepped away from them, they closed. Every time he heard that squeaky sound, he knew that when he got out of that place, again and again he would have to rip his hearth to pieces.

- “No matter how hard it is, I’m a demon. I have to throw away my feelings. If I don’t do it for sure one day they will be the reason for my death.”

He grabbed the necklace that was on his neck and took a deep breath. After that he started walking on the rocky path that was in front of him. The look on his face was serious and stormy. He was trying to stop the chaotic thoughts in his head. In the end he started to think for who he was and why was he here.

The Underground (Demon) kingdom. This is my home. Our mission is to find and kill those brainless creatures transformed by “The kiss of Death”. Angels and Demons who lost their consciousness. They become brainless creatures that know only how to kill and feed on human flesh. Although people call us mythical creatures, we have sworn to defend them even with the prize of our lives. Angels and Demons, races that hate each other even before the beginning of the humanity. But for us all to survive, our races signed a contract and we combined our powers against this rotten curse that is eating us little by little from the inside.

- “Grrrrrrr!” – A terrifying roar cut the air. The creature from which it came didn’t stop rolling on the ground. The only thing that stopped it from getting up was the restricting chains. Chains that pierced his body. And two swords crossed above.

- “It will hurt less if you don’t struggle so much. It’s hard for me too this way, so don’t complicate things even more.”

On the ground the creature was one of the fallen under the “Kiss”. It had lost his mind and was looking for living creatures to eat.

– “Dimitte me, requiescant in pace. (Forgive me, rest in peace.)” – Yuki said

“When will this war be finally over. How many more innocent people will have to die, for there to be piece“ – He lifted his head and looked up to the sky. It appeared as it understood the pain in his hearth and the same was cloudy and dark.

An arrogant laugh pierced the silence:

- I see that you still are that soft baby that you were back then… Yuki.

He knew that voice so well. Yuki lowered his head and looked over his shoulder without turning around. He looked with fury at the one that called his name. He found him again.

- “Please don’t be like that. How much time has passed from our last meeting? Two years… no, they are five already right? And you are still not a full demon. What shame for your Lord. What will you say, for you to return to where you belong? Isn’t it time for you to return…” - without moving his gaze from him, Yuki pulled his swords from the monster’s corpse and the ground.

–“Quod cupis?”(What do you want?) – Even a more cold voice came from the demon. – “Archangele!” (Archangel!)

- “I guess you still hate me, but you don’t have any right to blame me. She was consumed by the “Kiss”.” – Michelle voice became more soft but still lifeless.

- “But you still live in this dream. When will you wake up from it? The one we knew, is gone know. Don't you understand that?! I was hurt too and not less than you were. Why do you keep living in the past? She was already dead anyway! Accept it! For us the duty is on 1st place! Not only you loved your sister, I loved her way more… but at least I know what my priorities are. After one of us is touched by the “Kiss” the only way out is death. Accept it already Yuki and come back to the Sky kingdom, where you belong!”

The angel before him started sounding aggressive. It could be seen that he too was exhausted from fighting and if the two of them had to fight, it would have a fatal end for one of them.

–“Odi te! Numquam magis non praesentatione antequam me. Percutiamque vos!” (I hate you! Never again appear before me. I’ll kill you!) – Yuki said.

- “Accept it already, you stupid creature and come where it’s your place. If I didn’t do it you would have been dead by now!” – Michelle said.

With those words the half demon couldn’t keep his anger and his knife was on centimeters away from the archangel’s chest. His hate for him was at its peak point.

- “Stop!” – A strong voice echoed in the air. Yuki froze in his place and stopped his attack. He couldn’t disobey his master, which hobby was to follow his little half demon most of the time when he is out. Yuki turned his head and looked over his shoulder. The one that shouted came out of the shadows.

- “How many times do I have to warn you to stop breaking under his provocations? I told you to get your anger out on your enemy. And you… useless bird stop taunting MY demon.”

Episode 2

He emphasized that the little one was in his possession. In the Demon’s eyes there were furious flames, which clearly showed that he hates when anyone gets close to his possessions. He always was acting like a jealous husband, when it came to Yuki.

- “I’m apologizing lord Rey but since when is Yuki yours? Don’t go over your rights. Even if you are the Lord of the Demons don’t forget that he is special.”

- “And don’t you go overboard, with the rang you have, Archangel?”

Between them there were not sparks but lightings. The hate between them was tremendously huge. Neither of them remembered who was the 1st one to start the fight and what for but right now both of them were adding oil to the fire. Rey looked at Yuki and said:

- “Yuki, let’s go home. You did a very good job it’s time you rested for a bit. – The half demon went to his Lord. He stood up to him, and the lord put his hand on his left shoulder. – Thank you, Yuki I promise to find a way to stop this war as soon as possible. I know you kill yourself little by little every time you kill one of those creatures.”

-“ Lord Rey… I’m sorry I always bring you shame. I’m still not strong enough, for me to call myself a warrior.” – The lord was ready to confront him, but he didn’t say anything. The little one hadn’t realized yet the power that he has gained in the past few years. Yuki got dizzy for a moment and lost his balance. He fell into lord Rey’s hands like a little kid. He was at the end of his powers. The last few days he hadn’t slept at all and with all the fights he was at his limits.

- “Don’t worry little one, you haven’t done anything to shame me till now. Since I brought you here to live with us you haven’t betrayed my expectations.”

The explosion on the Demon lord’s face became soft and caring till he talked to the unconscious demon. When he looked at the angel, his face became serious and cloudy.

- “Do you understand now Michael, you don’t have anything to do with my demon!”

- “Do not think it will be like that for long. Whatever it takes, I’ll get him back in the Sky kingdom where he belongs. You don’t have the rights to keep him with you.“

Both of them looked each other waiting for a sign to engage in battle to death. The air around them felt heavy, like in a second everything would flame up. The scent of blood and flesh and the corpses around them made the atmosphere even heavier.

- “And you… what? Will you tell me that you have that right? Is it not enough that you killed his family, and now you want to send him to rot away?!” – The Demon lord started to lose his cool. He couldn’t stand the dumb angels and especially this one. Why did he have to meet him so often, god damn it.

- “It’s better for him to be in the Sky’s kingdom than to watch him kill himself little by little, thanks to you and your underlings.”

- “Mmm… Rey, please let’s go home. I can’t anymore…” - Yuki was barely standing on his feet. From time to time he was losing consciousness. The monster that he killed earlier was the 57th. This time the group was big and he had to manage alone like always. Rey saw that his little demon needed medical help fast or it will be fatal for his life if he didn’t get it.

-“ Yuki!” – The demon shouted.

The angel jump to catch the little demon, but he was late. Lord Rey had already teleported them away to the Demon kingdom. In the lords eyes there was a lot of anger. In the eyes of Michael, that were looking only at Yuki there was anxiety. He was seeing how exhausted he was. Michael decided even if he had to use force he would drag him in the Sky kingdom.

- “Damn it! I swear that whatever it takes me I’ll bring you back to the sky kingdom, Yuki! I won’t allow you to die too…” - Michael hit the ground whit his fist. The blood that the soil hadn’t swallow yet, splashed all over his face and uniform. From the fury, that had gotten inside of him he didn’t realize that he was biting his lips to blood. A stroll of blood ran down from the corner of his lips. The bloody drops fell to the ground and mixed with all the other blood.

The small demon was teleported with ease by lord Rey in the Demon kingdom. As soon as they arrived Yuki lost his balance and fell down. Rey took a deep breath, he threw him on his shoulder and he took him to his bedroom. Rey knew better than anyone else that Yuki will refuse to go to the infirmary. He hated the doctors even when he arrived here. He wouldn’t allow even one of them to touch him. No one knew the reason for that, but Rey decided to leave him be and do whatever he wanted. He dropped the little one near the bed.

- “Undress now and go take a shower!” – The lord looked at him with disgust. – “When it’s time I’ll teleport you to the surface.”

Rey ordered him with cold and angry voice. After that he got out of the room and banged the door after himself. For Yuki everything that happened today was a little too much. His meetings with Michael always were very tiring. He hated him for what he did to his sister. The pain was stronger than the love for his fake father. And now the cold shoulder from Rey was the lid to everything today.

Rey behaved like that only when he was very angry and he shouted to everyone that got in his way. Yuki knew very well the source of his anger this time. The meetings with his so hated Michael were getting more frequent. Yuki decided that he didn’t want to anger him anymore so he started to undress himself. He started taking off one by one the clothes stained by the blood and ooze. Almost every battle he was leading alone. From very little he learned to battle with two weapons.

Yuki had two big swords covered in runes. The runes helped him to kill those creatures that normal weapons couldn’t even scratch. Those swords were very precious to him. Very carefully he took them off his back and placed them on the ground. He took off his raincoat and all the other weapons and things that were under the raincoat. His ‘Uniform’ was a black baggy t-shirt, black leather trousers and a lot of cases with weapons attached to his legs and arms and every place on his body that he could hide a weapon. And everything was hided under the leather raincoat. He tried to take off his t-shirt but that was quite painful. He was wounded quite a lot of times and he got used to the pain so much that at times he could ignore it completely. He hadn’t notice the wound on his shoulder.

–“Pedicabo! (Damn it!)” – The wound wasn’t small and that made things even worse, because he had to go out to heal it. The doctor’s ointments and bandages weren’t going to help him this time. The next going out that he could afford was only after two days. Thanks to that that he was half and angel he could afford to heal himself. But to do that, he needed sunlight. And there was none in the Demon kingdom. His live was like a knife with two edges. Yuki knew it. For all those thousands of times in which he had risked his life, he learned a few rules. If any of the demons tried to heal him or transfer from their energy… one of them could die. Yuki had to go out every few days so he could replenish his energy or he would die.

- “How many times have I told you not to use this dirty language here!” – Someone shouted angrily behind him. – “You know that I forbid you to talk in Latin in the Demon kingdom. Even if you are half an angel here you can be only half a demon!” – It seemed like the lord was still angry. He slowly approached Yuki.

- “I’m sorry lord Rey.” – Yuki saw something in Rey’s hands. Rey left the little box he was caring on the table beside the bed. He grabbed Yuki for his hand and pulled him to the bed. Then he threw him by his stomach and put his knee on Yuki’s back. The little one tried to escape but he couldn’t.

- “I told you to stop calling me with my title when we are alone, Yuki. You are more special than the demons here and I think you know it.” – While Rey was talking with his cold emotionless voice, he ripped Yuki’s shirt and pulled out the piece that was piercing his right shoulder. He didn’t even blink as he did it.

- “Hhhh….” – Yuki moaned painfully without making any other sound. He started breathing faster. The blood started to flow from the wound.

Bloody drops started falling from the pulled piece and colored the sheets in dark red. Rey dropped the piece on the bed and reached out to grab the box. No matter how angry he was, he tried not to move while he was over Yuki. He was also careful not to touch his other wounds. Even with all the bandages Rey knew very well where all his wounds were. He was very careful not to put all his weight on him because he could break a rib. The weight of his knee was that strong as it had to be so Yuki couldn’t move. Rey grabbed the box, open it and grabbed the bottle that was inside. Then he poured the liquid on the open wound.

This time the pain was so strong that Yuki screamed. The thing that Rey poured was an antidote. He was the last person that wanted to see his little demon change into one of those creatures. Especially when he knew what happened to his sister.

- “It hurts, right? Let this be your lesson not to go alone again. I gave an order to everyone you are suspended from missions for now. When I learn who is the one to send you there I personally will punish him. If you went to Sara to bandage you, you weren’t going to be in such a bad shape now. Even if I can’t see you every day I know everything that is happening here. Nothing can pass by me without me noticing.” – His voice became as sharp as a blade. He was angry, very angry. And the little one was the reason. Yuki knew he wasn’t supposed to go out to fight for a couple more days, so his wounds can heal. But he didn’t tell that to his supervisors because he couldn’t stay coped in his room.

- “I’m sorry Rey… it’s my fault. But I can’t stay here. I feel like an animal trapped in a cage.” – Yuki was barely breathing because of the pain in his shoulder.

- “Stubborn to the end. Can you stand?” – Rey’s voice was calm again. The little half demon liked him like that.

In the years spend with him he knew when his lord was furious and cruel. When they were alone or with general Dark he was like that - calm and nice. But in front of the others, he showed no weakness. He was cold and cruel. No one could see behind the wall he had surrounded himself in.

- “I’ll be fine… I just need to get out of here… so I can close the wound completely. There is not enough light here.” – The bleeding almost had stopped thanks to the thing that Rey poured in the wound. But it was not enough to heal it.

- “I’ll come with you there is no way for you to go out on your own. And when I know you can meet that piece of shit well that is even a more of a reason for me to come with you.” – His face frowned.

Yuki got up carefully as he was gripping his wounded shoulder. Rey saw Yuki and threw him a shirt from his wardrobe. Yuki put the shirt slowly and carefully. And then he went to Rey. The little one knew he was right. If Michael was still strolling, he wouldn’t have a chance against him. Rey put his hand on Yuki’s healthy shoulder and teleported them back to the surface.

- “We made it… on time.” – Yuki ran to the edge of the cliff that Rey teleported them to. It was seconds from the 1st sun rays to shine.

This was the only time that Yuki could get the energy he needed. Rey stepped back into the darkness of the woods. He hated the sunlight and even now it was not something that he could stand. Well on the other hand the darkness was his sweet spot.

Because Yuki was half an angel the only time he could absorb the sun rays was when the sun was rising. His survival was the most important thing even with all the risks that he was taking. The humans couldn’t know that both races were here, near them. The only way that both angels and demons, could be recognized were their wings. And both races hid them very well.

- “Yuki, how much time will you need?” – Rey was facing with his back to him. He didn’t even turn to look at the little one. Maybe because they did this so many times, that he trusted him completely.

- “I think half an hour will be enough. I think that there won’t be more time anyway.” – Rey look at him from head to toe. He knew that this energy would not be enough but there was nothing that he could help with. In the first year with Yuki, he had learned about most of his habits. And for a few more things he kept for himself. When he remembered, a smile appeared on his face.

- “Tell me when you're done. I can‘t stand this disgusting weather. I'm going to a darker place.”- Rey threw a medallion over his shoulder and teleported somewhere.

- “Whe... oh I forgot for a moment. Demons hate the light… maybe because I’m used to it and it doesn’t bother me at all.” - He remembered the time when he was young, and his face showed the most hurt expression that a lovely creature could show.

He turned quickly to the sunrise rays and spread his wings. He sat down on the hard cliff and closed his eyes. The first rays of sunshine filled him with light. The picture could not be described in words. Although he was half an angel and half a demon, he looked more like his father. His wings were neither the one of a demon nor an angel. The demons have black wings, and the angels white. His were normally gray, but when they were recharging, they were white like the snow. With the sun rays that bathed them in the light, they looked like gold. It was as if a fairy had come and left her magical pollen on them. Wings that every angel dreamed of having. They were something they have to earn, but only few could get them.

-“As I thought, a lovely view. You do not relinquish neither the angels neither the demons, even if you are half of them ... brother ...” - the man turned around and disappeared into the shadows of the darkness.

The sun had already risen, and was now climbing up the horizon.

- “It's time to go ... I should already be able to go home with my own strength. The sun is good at this time of year. But before I get back to the Underground kingdom, it's time to visit them. There should be no problems, my energy is almost refilled. People are already awake so I can’t use my wings. I'll have to find a horse in the village ... I haven’t been “there” for a long time, it's time to go. I want to go at least one more time before the next battle. Rey would surely be very furious. When I get back, I'll have to apologize a lot to him. Here is a neutral territory I hope I will not have problems even if I meet some of the patrols." - Yuki thought.

Episode 3

Without any difficulty Yuki found the mountain trail. It wasn’t his first time going down and before he noticed it he was at the foot of the mountain where the small village was. It was located near one of the rivers. Thanks to its warm climate, most of the year the village was used as a tourist station. Improvements and extensions were constantly being made. Yuki knew well the stalls and buildings.

Even though he came often, he noticed how they changed little by little. He found the stables at the end of the city and took the usual horse. He saddled it in a hurry and drove off. When he came out on the big straight road he spurred the hors. The strong summer sun was not a problem for him, thanks to the angelic blood flowing through his veins. Usually the people were trying to avoid it, but Yuki did not. He was in a hurry, and even if he had to go through the desert he would have done it. His horse, however, did not agree. Yuki saw that the horse was getting tired. He whispered something in his ear, and the horse harnessed all its strength to keep the current speed. Thanks to his demon blood, he survived all these years in the Underground kingdom. The place where he was headed to, neither of his bloodlines would help him.

He was heading for a sacred place for the angels and at the same time a place where no demon could stand. Despite the importance of the place, none of the races dared to enter. As he approached, he slowed the horse's pace. He jumped from the horse only when he was a few steps away from the entrance. Yuki tied his harness to the nearest tree. He looked around. There was an open gate and a very long fence. He took a few steps and stood in front of the metal gates. Slowly he reached for the gate. Even if he had not touched the gate, he could feel the ominous energy. Yuki took a deep breath and walked in. Once he set his foot across the gate, memories began to emerge in his mind. He knew the price to go into the Cemetery of Ghosts. Place where people's souls were resting. The little one knew that all the suppressed memories until now would reappear, but he was ready to take even this risk so that he could see his family one more time. And his family was not close at all. His parents had made one of the most unforgivable sins. Both of their souls were hidden deep in the heart of this cemetery.

- "I hope my body will endure until I get to them. Mom ... Dad ... it's time to finally meet you again." These were his last sane thoughts.

The spirits sent there for one or another type of sin, were trying to swallow the soul of anyone who dared to cross the entrance to this sacred place. This could only have happen if the person’s psyche broke down. Yuki's painful memories came back, the childhood he was trying to forget - came back. A child could not even imagine what he had to go through.

Memory: (<< ... .. >>) <<<–>>> THIS IS HOW YUKI’S MEMORIES WILL BE MARKED!

<< - “Yuki ... Yuki, are you okay? "- A tender woman's voice ... a beautiful blond girl was the first picture I saw when I opened my eyes," the child thought, and reached out to touch her and make sure she was real.

- “Sis ... ter, what's up? Why are you here?” - Said the drowsy little boy with raven black hair tied to a tail as he rose from the soft green grass on which he laid. A lovely meadow shaded in places from small trees.

- “Don’t play innocent! Teachers complained about you again! Every time I go home, I hear only this. If you do not show your wings, they'll kick you out of school. How many times do I have to repeat you have nothing to fear. You have incredible power and you are not using it.” - The girl had folded her arms in front of her chest and was angry at her little brother.

- “Come on, sis. You know very well why I don’t want to show my wings. I'm different from the others and if I show what I'm capable of, they'll still accuse me of cheating. I’m not a cheater! Everyone tell lies and the teacher does not believe me! Each time is the same! I just don’t want to be first anymore I don’t care even if I’m last! I just want them to leave me alone.” - His face dimmed.

His sister's anger disappeared when she saw her little brother so sad. Her hands slowly fell to her side. She sighed heavily, and sat on her knees against him. She lifted his head with her hands so that she was sure he was looking at her.

- “Listen to me, shorty. Father always told us to do everything we can and not to hide our strength. No matter what we are and where we come from, we just have to show what are we capable of. But you were too small and you don’t remember it.”

- “Yes, as you say. I have no intention of showing my strength or anything else. As for my wings ... I will not allow anyone to ever see them again. Even the big ones say my wings are stained like those of my mother. That with these wings I don’t deserve to even have my father's name.” - After his last words the little boy was ready to cry. How he could use his wings was like that. Everyone laughed at him. They stood away from him and whispered behind his back.

- “That is not true. Do not listen to them, they simply envy you. You have lovely wings. Dad loved you so much, just like your mother. The boy's face was still ragged. He turned his face away from her. You know you will never advance in school like that. They think you are a fool now, and what if you continue to act this way. Get yourself together.” – She slapped him with both of her hands. Still holding his head between her hands she told him: - “Since when is my little brother such a coward! You don’t want to betray our parents’ wishes, do you? ” – In her eyes were sparkling small devilish flames.

- “Sister ... “- She stared at him with a look that said she won’t give up until he accepted it. Anyone who knew her knew she was stubborn as a donkey. Her brother was most aware of this, and he gave up. There wasn’t even a slides chance for him to win this battle. –“ All right fine, fine! You win I will be serious during the training.”

- “I do not expect less from you. That's why you are my brother. – “Layla (his sister) pulled him tight against her chest and snugged him hard. He spread his hands from the unexpected pull of his sister. >>

- “If was fun Sis. Those moments that you were there for me and supported me… I’ll never forget them.” – He smiled and opened his eyes again. Yuki stood up and continued forward. He was going forward into the shadows. The air grew heavier. With each step it was harder to walk. He couldn’t use his powers here because immediately he would be swallowed up by the shadows.

The only way was to just keep going forward until he found the spirits of his parents. For him - and even everyone who came here it was like a blind man walking through a minefield. Knowing what risk he was taking, he was determined to see his parents at all costs. His memories of them were just blurry spots in his memory. There were many questions he wanted to ask them, and he had to get an answer at all costs. Though the ground was flat, he stumbled from time to time. Not long after, stones began to appear around him. Some were about a meter wide, while others were barely visible from the ground. He did not know how long it had been since he had come in here, but he felt he had spent several years in this suffocating place. He began to drag his feet. He paused for a second and leaned against one of the larger stones. Just in time, because one more of the memories popped in his mind.

<< Someone pushed him hard from behind, and the little boy fell down facing the ground. He only raised his head and coughed.

- “Hoch! This is the impure blooded one. He's nothing special. His ratings are one of the lowest, and the exercises are even worse. Not to mention that he can’t even show his wings. I wonder how he even reached this level.” – One of the boys talked loudly.

All of the children that gathered started laughing arrogantly. They were anticipating a fight. The boy that the bully had pushed just stood and didn’t move at all. This was the easiest way to deal with those situations. The little boy had understood that no one could help him when his sister was away. – “I wonder why he is here in the Sky kingdom! Weakling!” – The kids continued with their cruel laughter. The little boy was surrounded. The situation wasn’t different from that of poachers to surround some rare animal.

- “Kids it’s time to come back. Your parents are here.” - The voice of one of the teachers was heard from the building behind them.

- “Let's go guys. He will be kicked out of school after the next test.” - The kids ran to the entrance of the building. The teacher saw him, but she said nothing, and hurried back in to the building again. All teachers noticed the children's obscene behavior, but no one wanted to deal with this problem.

As they went away, he stood up and wiped as much as possible from the dirt on his face. He brushed off his clothes, picked up his backpack and walked home. His older sister was coming home soon, and this time he wanted to delight her. He was going to train very hard to pass his next test. His sister's fiancé was coming back tonight, and the little one was eager to learn something new from him. >>

He was breathing hard and heavily.

- “Whatever may happen, I’ll find you mom and dad.” – breathing harder, he stood up and walked forward. He stumbled and fell, but he stood up and went on. His memories were becoming clearer and more painful. The one that he had locked deep in his mind was getting close, and he never wanted to remember it again. But he had no choice here. Very soon he would have experienced this nightmare again. The nightmare that turned his life upside down.

If he wanted to prevent it, he had to find his parents as quickly as possible. Yuki put every last drop of his powers. He did not want to be swallowed up by the shadows, and he wouldn’t give in that easy.

Thanks to the angelic blood flowing through his veins, he could come in here, but his demon half turned out to be a bigger problem than he had expected. He knew it would be twice as difficult. But his stay in the Underground kingdom over the past few years, and the recent wounds, had exhausted his energy faster than he expected. If he had not been suspended from his sun light for so long, he would have passed much faster and easier. In recent years, Yuki had relied heavily on his demonic half, so he ignored the angelic. He only used it when he needed treatment. But was there something normal here? This place had nothing to do with the places he had visited until now. Even with all the books he read and the information he gathered, nothing could have helped him. Even the angels who dared to enter became part of the lost souls here. Yuki was approaching the hearth of the graveyard. He felt it very strongly. The force he needed to put only to move even one step became ten times more.

- “Just a little ... more ...” - Yuki lost his balance and fell to his knees.

His gaze began to blur. It was a sign that he didn’t have much time before he loses his consciousness. He staggered and went on. The next memory popped into his mind. This may have been the most painful thing for him so far.

<< - “I want everyone to line up in a column. We will test the strength of each of you in the “Labyrinth”. You will enter one after another in five seconds intervals. There is a special surprise inside. Even if everything is mechanized, don’t drop your guard. Consider this as a real battlefield. After a certain time, the holographic walls will disappear and you will have to help one another. We start!” - He blew his whistle.

He watched his stopwatch and gave signals to the next one to enter. Although they called it the “Labyrinth”, it was a huge obstruction room. At the entrance each child had the right to choose a weapon. The room was specially designed to be able to change its surroundings. There were hologram sensors that could create any combat situation. Here the children learned to fight and defend, and to kill their enemies. Yuki was the last in the line, thanks to his low grades and his lack of participation in school exercises. But that did not bother him at all. >>

- “Sweet, it was one of my most terrifying moments. I thought I did well by saving those idiots, but it would have been better if I hadn’t done it. The price I paid was very high ... right sister ... “- the more he approached the heart of the cemetery, the more his strength was leaving him. It was already unbearable. All of his body hurt and the pain grew stronger. The opposite did the intervals of time between the memories. The memories of that "moment" of his life. A single moment in which he surrendered to the animal within himself. He could no longer avoid it. He thought he was ready to remember again, but reality is crueler from what we think. The most painful memory came...

<< - “Yuki! Your turn! What weapon do you want?” - His teacher treated him like everyone else. He was rude and always looked at him with contempt.

- “Whatever you give me, teacher. I have no preference. “ - Said the little boy with a quiet, monotone voice. He didn’t want to argue. Not this time. He promised his sister to pass this test. Whatever happened, he had to give everything that he was capable of.

- “Well then. So you can come in without. Looking at your past achievements, you probably will not need it. You'll probably run like a little girl just of the look of the monsters. Till...”

- “Kyaaaaa!” - His teacher was interrupted by the cry of one of the girls. Several screams followed after that one. As soon as the teacher ran in, the intruder alarm was also activated. Yuki ran when he heard the first scream, and after him came the teacher.

- “Will someone tell me what's going on here?!” - The teacher yelled, but he quickly became numb when he saw what was going on inside.

Neither he nor Yuki had any words to describe the bloody sight before their eyes. The man pulled out his gun and ran forward. The hologram system was stopped. All the judges were in the room and were fighting against the transformed ... that fell under the influence of the "Kiss". No one knew how they got in, but one thing was very clear. Too many children had died, and more would still die and it wouldn’t be just the kids dead until reinforcements come.
