I've always felt like a disappointment to my family, especially my father, even though they've awlays tried to hide it..

Why? Because I'm the first born to an Alpha, and I'm not a Son.. This case is super rare, it hasn't come to pass for billions of years, but no one ever said that it was impossible.

Ofcourse the road to that achievement wasn't easy. There were countless of obstacles along the way. For example when my younger brother was old enough, my father announced that it would only be fair if my brother had a chance to fight me for the Title, since he's a Male...

Even though my brother didn't want too, he did it anyway, just to make our father happy. But in the end Yoongi didn't win, which angered my father and increased his hatred towards me.

And to make it worse, the members of the Werewolf Council , don't take me seriously just because I'm a Female.

I always had to work extremely hard to maintain my dominance and stand my ground in a room full of ignorant males.

Being a Female Alpha is tiring, but i wouldn't trade it for anything..I hold a hope that I could someday make a difference in the way our people see women.

Yes, women are aloud to work, participate in fights, and do anything that the males can. So why is it such a huge deal when a Female is an Alpha ? That's something you ask but never get an answer too.

Although my relationship with my family is complicated, there has always been someone who stuck by my side. My Beta, Jimin. We've know each other since we were little pups, running around in the Pack.

I trust him with my life and he does the same. He knows me better than myself, and supported me through everything I went through and did.

"You sure you don't want to go home ?" He asked, putting his hand on my shoulder gently. "We've already gone to five Packs today and we haven't found anything.."

"No, let's keep searching. I have a good feeling about the next Pack." Jimin sighed and nodded.

He's been around me long enough to know that once I make up my mind, I don't change it.

We get on our horses and started on our way to the next Pack. After sometime, we arrived at Red Stone Pack in search for my mate.

Every year, I take a trip to the closest Packs to see if my mate is there. For the past four years, I didn't succeed.

...But I have hope that this year, is the year...The year when I find my other half.....

When they arrived at the borderline of the Pack, they got off their horses and tied them to the nearby trees.

As she expected, Hugo was there waiting for them..More like waiting for her.

He is the Alpha of Red Stone Pack. "Ji-woo!" He called out, as he walked toward them with his usual devil like grin as always.

"It's so good to see you again" Even after saying such welcoming words, Ji-woo could hear the sarcasm in his tone of voice.

She's never liked Hugo, he's to cunning and mysterious for her liking. Thoughts that both her and her Beta share about Alpha Hugo.

Even though he gives off shady vibes, she puts up with him to prevent a war between their Packs. And there's also that one out of one hundred percentage that her mate could be in the Red Stone Pack.

"Good to see you as well, Hugo." She greets him respectfully, followed by Jimin. The Alpha steps aside, allowing them to cross into his territory.

"Busy looking for your Mate this year again, I'm guessing ?" He asked, following Ji-woo and her Beta, as She allows her nose to lead her way.

"Yes" She gives him a short answer, and focuses on all the scents in the air. The most difficult part about find your other half, is that you don't even know what kind of scent your searching for.

The scent of your Mate is unique from all others, so it's suppose to stick out from all the others in the air and draw you towards the owner of the scent.

It's only when you lock eyes with your Mate, that you realize they are truly your Mate. We'll that's what Ji-woo heard anyway..

When she stops in front of the pack house, it finally hits her that she's never been inside before. But it's because Alpha Hugo always said it was strictly off limits.

And Ji-woo never really bothered the question his reasons, since it's only him and a few Omegas that work there, live in the pack house.

But today, she couldn't help but feel a strong urge to go Inside.. "I've already told you, the pack house is off limits." Hugo's voice is deep and cold. Ji-woo turns around, and sees him glaring at her.

"I won't be intruding, and you can follow me while I'm inside, and if I don't find my mate I won't ever come near you're pack house again" Hugo stayed silent for a while before rolling his eyes. "Fine"

He opens the door, allowing Ji-woo and Jimin to walk in. Hugo and Jimin followed closely while she checked upstairs, walking through the halls to see if she picks up any scent. When she gets nothing, she comes back downstairs.

She walks past the kitchen, as her nose gets filled with the smell of food being prepared by an Omega. The Omega's scent didn't stand out to her so she kept on walking. She's walked through the entire house, but found nothing..

"Thank you for your time Alpha Hugo" She tries to hide her sadness as she walks to the front door. "I'm sorry for bothering yo-" Ji-woo freezes once her eyes cut a glance at a door she hadn't noticed before, hidden neatly under one of the staircase.

Ji-woo POV

I walked to the door slowly. "You can't go back there." Ignoring Alpha Hugo's warning, I unlock the door opening it.

A train of scents hit my nostrils, but they weren't strong. They're all Omegas, since I couldn't smell their scents before. Yet one scent was so good and stronger than the others.

It smell like freshly picked Strawberries, rich and sweet. Making a huge source of heat run throughout my body.

Before Hugo could say anything, I ran down the stairs in search for my mate. All the Omegas bow their heads and looked down, submitting to the Alpha now present in the room. But one of them caugth my eyes.

A fragile looking boy with beautiful blond hair, in the middle of folding clothes on the floor. His head, down in submission so I couldn't see his face.. His clothes looked really dirty and old.

And even from where I stand, I can see the bruises and wounds on his pale looking skin.. Before I could take a step closer to get a better look at the boy, Hugo and Jimin come rushing down the stairs.

"I told you, you couldn't come down here!" Hugo said, clearly pissed off by my actions.

"What happened Ji-woo ? Did you find your mate ?" Jimin asked looking around the room with wide eyes.

Ignoring both of them, I point at the Omega that caught my attention. "That one. The one right there." I looked at Hugo. "Who is he?"

Hugo folds his arms over his chest, a mocking laugh leaving his lips loudly. "You're looking at the most worthless Omega in our Pack. His Omega father died giving birth to him and his Beta dad died a few years later when he was a pup. So he's been here ever since he was five year old."

I tried my best to keep my facial expression as normal as possible, even though I can feel my blood boiling. "Why does he have so many wounds and cuts?"

"He's our stress reliever. When we are angry or enraged, we take it out on him. It's the only thing he can't mess up. He can't do nothing right, it's the only thing he deserves anyway. " Hugo shot a look of disgust at the said Omega.

I'm no one to tell other Alphas how to run their Packs, but that's completely disgusting and bad behavior coming from a leader who should be an example for his Pack members.

I was about to give Hugo a piece of my mind, when the Omega looked up.. And his eyes finally meet mine.
